I have one small breast due to having a lump removed and was told I should go to Victoria Secret andthat they would measure me and find a bra that fit. I went yesterday, and I explain my problem to the sales girl. She just handed me bra to try on. No measuring. I felt like she was trying to rush me into buying and getting me out. I don't think I will go back.unhappy 5/14/12 8:12AM

Victoria's Secret sells junk. They are unwelcome to comments on their items. Sales associates force you into buying things that are out of your range. The bras are itchy in the cup. Horrible quality. After my expierience I will no longer shop the junk ridden store, but send a complaint to the comapny which they won't acknowledge. Overall, don't buy anything,it will only come back to hurt you. Macy's has a better selection.anonymous 5/5/12 11:56AM

As new customer (but maybe now quickly becoming a past customer)of VS, I have no complaints about the company other than their use of a pathetic shipping company, UPS. I have placed two larger orders about a month apart. Both were shipped viz UPS and came in a larger box. Both boxes were mangled. The first box was missing an item. VS was wonderful in understanding and replaced the item. Now that I know the sizes and styles of VS merchandise that I like, I ordered another large order. the box that came via UPS is so MANGLED I'm scared to open the darned thing for fear half of it is missing. I have experienced great customer service with VS thus far, but one would think the company would want to use a more reliable shipping company.... no? I was so excited to find a company to order slacks and tops that actually FIT Me...but I can't keep hassling with UPS.... This may be the end of what I had hoped was a great long-term relationship. (sniffle-sniffle) But UPS has got to go.MJ 5/1/12 9:15AM

I went to the Victoria's secret located in Harrisonburg, VA with my husband. I tried on a bra and stepped outside the dressing room with the new bra (fully clothed of course) to ask for an opinion. A young lady named "Brittani" Shouted at my husband accross the store "SIR GET BACK HERE! THERE ARE WOMEN BACK HERE!".. well duh. I was just asking for an opinion first off. If its your store policy to not allow me to STEP OUTSIDE of the dressing room to ask my husband how i look..whatever. On top of that she yelled at him across the store. As if it isn't awkward enough for men to be in the store to begin with..way to scream at him in a very rude and embarrassing way. What a jerk! Bad marketing ploy though..my husband is the one with the money. Guess no more bras from there!Sweetiepie 4/27/12 4:59PM

My daughter has been working in VS as Sales Associate for 5 mos. now. She was terminated after less than a mo. working there because of an oversight and error from the VS management. They employed my daughter when she's 17 yrs, old and it is clearly stated on her resume she submitted during her first interview. She was devastated but VS promised her that once she turned 18 they will rehire her. After she turned 18, she called several times to remind VS of their promised and she been rehired after 1 mo. of begging them to give her work back. And since then, she will only be required to work 2 times in a week or maybe just once of only 4 hrs. per days of work. She tried to question the Manager why they only give less hours of work, she been told that they have a lot of employees and so they have to do a rotation. But to her suprise, the newly hired Male Sales Associate has been rendering more hours than her and was even given the easiest job of just greeting the incoming customers. We are Asians and my daughter is very smart, VS Manager is racist and clearly discriminate other culture.Anonymous 4/27/12 7:34AM

I have loved Victoria's Secret for years. I have been disappointed the last year or so, however. Every bra I pick up has cleavage enhancing padding. I am already a full C cup. I don't need more. Even the Body line has changed the shape of the cup so that there is less fabric on the side of the cup next to the arm. Not attractive. My most recent experience was with the bathing suits this season. Once again, every one I picked up had that build in padding. When I asked the sales associate, she recommended the bandeau tops. That's great for an A or B cup, but my girls will not be supported by this. Not every woman wants gigantic breasts. I hate to say this, but Victoria's Secret is becoming a store that I just pass by, instead of a necessary stop.AG13 4/10/12 5:39AM

SIMPLE! How do they still get away with charging shipping?!?!?! They make so much mnoey and they still charge their customers shipping even if the order is over 50! Most places now a day even small online stores give you complimentary shipping when you spend over 50/75/100 at their stores. It's a way to thank the customer for their business. Not with VS! It's like, "Hey great you're spending over 200 dollars at our store lets thank you by charging you 20.00 shipping and sorry you cant use your free shipping code because you are using another discount code and god forbid we lose money on this transaction! Simply ridiculous! I am so angry! Does it really cost 20 to ship me some underwear! I canceled the purchase immediately and they have left a bad taste in my mouth. I don't think I will ever purchase anything from them again.beachfront65 3/31/12 8:01PM

My daughters and I purchased couple of items in the store in seatlle.we were offered 10% off on the balace if we open the credit card,so I gave my visa that they can put the charge in it. We came back Canada and almost 20 days later I received the statment indicating the purchase amount and the interest!!
I called to find out what is going on? they said they did not charged me on my visa that day and the excually did charge on the credit card insted, NO explanation in the store and nothing was informed while we were in the store about the method of the charges. Since then they charge me huge interst and number going higher and higher. I get phone call everyday or sometimes twice aday from them. they ask for the payment? I tell every single person that I am not going to pay, simply because I found it this is stilling from people. They ofer credit card and they give you 10% off then they charge you 21% interest!! who wants that? why they did not charge on my visa while I was in their store? why no one said that they didn't charge on my visa? I did get receid from them but I didn't look at it what they did till I received the statment.

I never changed my delivery addresses but my last order was sent to my husband's OLD credit card billing address overseas!
I have no idea how Victoria's Secret managed to send my order to a billing address of a credit card that we didn't used to place the order. They simply told me that it was my mistake. But how?
Their customer service is painfully disappointing!Anonymous 3/7/12 6:25PM -
I went to VS in Eastgate Mall in Cincinnati to return items that were purchase coz its too big for me. The worker told me I can replace it and i can browse around the store as long as i get the same amount(or more) of the item im replacing. After browsing for like 30 mins i went back to the register with my new item ther.A different lady try to help me out and give so much attitude she doesnt know what she is doing. I tried to explain it to her and she look at me like i am lying about my return. And when she got to figure out everything she told me the amount I ask her why is it so high she told me they only give half of the credit of the item im returning coz it went on sale and I dont have a receipt so i told her well i purchase it thru my VS credit card can i just print out my statement and bring it in. She told me they cant do it since it went on sale so i told her but i have the proof coz i have card with them they can even pull it out from my account. She just look at me like im a lunatic. So i end just taking my item and told them never mind. Im so disappointed to the point i just want to cancel my card with them. I love my "Body by Victoria" bras. That is basically all I wear. Recently, I have put on some weight and my bra size has went up to a "40 C." When I visited a store in North Charleston, SC, I inquired as to why I didn't see any "40's" in the store. The girl looked at me and said, "no one that shops here wears a 40, so we don't sell them in stores anymore." I found that humerous since I had just been to both the South Beach store and the NYC store bear Harold Square and they both had 40's.
I was horrfied by the way she reacted to me. She did refer me to the website and to which I told her I hate buying bras online. I have to go to the store. She then told me Lane Bryant carried my size. I wanted to run out and cry.Kimmykay1031 2/23/12 12:38AM -
Disappointment with recent returns and exchanges
I am writing in to express my disappointment with the recent returns to VS for which I requested for an exchange via the VS exchange form (found at the back of the shipping invoice I received with my earlier orders).
On the 7 February, I send an email to Victoria Secret informing them of the list of items I returned. I also indicated a list of exchanges that I would very much like to exchange these returns with. I got a reply from a Katie B (email attached), assuring me that upon receipt of the returns, the requested items for exchange will be processed accordingly.
On 9 February, I handed in a parcel to the Singapore Post which contained a total of 11 items (of which 2 were damage / wrong item delivered, which I was told in an earlier email to retain it but have explained that I will be returning it back), the following of which are:
1. 277356 – 31.60
2. 272513 – 29.99
3. 277727 – 55.60
4. 260078 – 49.50
5. 276959 – 59.50
6. 277099 – 42.00
7. 275763 – 44.50
8. 278184 – 69.50
9. 275073 – 29.50
10. 277307 – damage item
11. 285055 – wrong item
The amount of the above returned items came to a total of USD$411.00 (not including the damaged / wrong item). In the same parcel I’d also put in 4 exchange (official pink-coloured Victoria Secret) forms in which I stated a Singapore delivery address for the receipt of these exchanges and the list of 7 items I wanted to exchange with and for which the total of these 7 items amounted to about USD$409.00, the following of which are:
1. WJ-268-691 (size XS - color 26R)
2. WJ-279-295 (size XS - color 2SU)
3. WJ-264-727 (size XS - color 77R)
4. WJ-282-539 (size 2 - color 092 (length 36"))
5. WJ-285-354 (size XS - color D34)
6. WJ-277-099 (size XS - color Y44)
7. TE-281-444 (size XS - color 63R)
When Victoria Secret received the parcel on the 18 February, I received 2 separate emails (as attached) that they were charging USD$17.07 (order # 473571485, including tax and shipping (within the US)) and USD$152.99 (order # 473571483, shipping only) respectively on my credit card, the latter for which is pending credit card authorisation. I was not surprised at the handling of the recent returns as in the past this was what had always happened when I returned items to Victoria Secret - I would never receive the exchange items but would either be given a gift card or a refund to my card.
However, what really got me angry was that Victoria Secret had gone ahead and charged USD$17.07, for which USD$1.08 goes to tax, onto one of my earlier credit cards, and it was clearly indicated in the exchange form a Singapore address for delivery! On top of this, this is an exchange and Victoria Secret had charged shipping! Again, and as with the earlier issue, Victoria Secret has gone ahead and treated customer’s financial information like a toy, as and when at their disposal!
To make matters worse, Victoria Secret did not even get the # of exchange items correctly and this despite sending out 3 emails all clearly indicating the items that I want for exchange. Instead, what I got from the recent emails is that Victoria Secret was only going to process 4 exchange items! Strangely however, whilst order # 473571485 was originally destined for a US address, order # 473571483 however, was destined for a Singapore address and both incurred shipping charges despite clear indication of this being an exchange, albeit mail exchange!
I called up Victoria Secret on the 19 February and spoke to a Ms Brie who had kindly fixed the tax and shipping charges on order # 473571485 and changed the shipping address for this order. I am still unhappy, however, as the returns amount should have more than enough to cover the exchanges without the need to revert to my credit card. Hence, I requested for Ms Brie to look into this but she reasoned that it was not possible as it was an uphill task to match item for item (an explanation I will never be able to comprehend)!
Ms Brie had also looked into order # 473571483 and explained to me that since the items were more than 3 months old merchandise certificates will be send out. I reasoned out with her that it did not make sense to me when only 1 returned item was acknowledged for 1 item to be exchanged with (and even that was charged to my credit card) when the rest I had to wait for merchandise certificates! I asked why don’t the rest of the exchanges be processed without the need to print out merchandise certificates, send out to customer, wait for merchandise certificates and then process the exchange, by which time the requested items for the exchange will no longer be in stock!
Ms Brie put me on hold for a while and when she returned she explained to me that now she will go ahead and process the exchanges for the remaining 6 items (I had to go over the items for exchange with Ms Brie to get it over across correctly) for order # 473571483 and advised me to destroy the merchandise certificates once I receive them. I thanked her for that initiative and asked her for the new order #, if there was one. She replied indeed there was and gave me the order #, only for me to find out much later that order # 473571483 is still pending credit card authorisation and the new order # she had given me was a replacement for order # 473571485 (which she had done the adjustments to the tax and shipping charges).
I am sorely disappointed with how events have once again turned out with additional charges again billed to my credit card unnecessarily. It seems, I have to be very careful with my credit card information from now on when it comes to shopping with Victoria Secret because it seems to me Victoria Secret do not respect customer’s financial data, treating it like a toy as and when it suits them!
I also wonder why Victoria Secret put in an exchange section in the returns form when in reality it’s a redundant section! I have now come to the point where returns will never be processed accordingly and after this incident, will never again submit an exchange form, because it is redundant information Victoria Secret customer service reps are not immune to!
I would like to request for the transacted amount on my credit card for order # 473571485 to be entirely refunded as I just don’t see why the need to charge my credit card when there was more than enough from the returned items to cover the amount for the exchanges.
As for order # 473571485, and since Ms Brie have advised me that she will proceed to apply the merchandise certificates to this order and have it shipped out soonest (and this was explained on the 19 February), then I would like to know whether this will be done as what she has explained or that Victoria Secret is still awaiting authorisation on my credit card (as evident from the status on this order from my online account).
If Victoria Secret still insists on authorising the amount for order # 473571483 on my credit card, this will be the last time I will sending in an exchange form and will request for my bank not to entertain this transaction.
I have also submitted a complaint to my bank and requested for them not to entertain the transacted amount on my credit card for order # 473571485. They have advised that they will look into this matter and hold the transaction.
I look forward to your resolution of this matter and reply soonest.Chrissy 2/20/12 8:40AM -
Unfortunately I have to give a bad review based on unfriendly management at the store where i shop. The store manager is not friendly at all and honestly, you can tell she is intimidated that people might not think she is the manager so she makes it a point to tell you she is the store manager. Tonight I went to an after hours event. it said that if you spend $100 you get $25 off. I asked a lady who I honestly would think was a member of management if that ment if I spent $200 i would get $50 off. Or could I ring 2 transactions to get the discount. I was reassured it was no problem. They would give me $25 off per hundred. I get to the registar to purchase almost $300 worth of merchandise and then was told I only get $25 off. I tried to explain that the girl who i think is the manager said I could have $25 off per hundred. Next thing I know there was a completely rude manager in my face telling me SHE is the store manager NOT the other girl and its only $25 off...no more. Needless to say, I put my items back and only purchased $100 worth. But now I see on the online sight you can get $75 off of a $250 purchase so I will be returning ALL that I bought and purchaseing it online. This store has cute associates that I would expect to see in a VS store and mostly, they are very friendly. The store manager though, needs a new attitude and maybe a weightloss challenge. Sorry, I wont shop this store again.nikbear 2/19/12 9:33PM

Email sent to VS via "Contact Us" on their website: I used to purchase all of bras and panties for myself and my daughter at Victoria Secret. We enjoyed going to the store and seeing new items and were excited to get home with our purchases. We shopped at the store closed to our home in Flowood, MS. Within the last 2-3 years, the experience stopped being enjoyable and became quite frustrating to the point that we haven't purchased anything at any VS store in the last 6 months. Each time I go to the store, the staff is not welcoming or helpful and I leave without making any purchase at all. Last night was the final straw. I visited the store at 7:00 p.m. CST with the intention of purchasing at least 3 bras and panties for myself. The store was not busy but none of the 3 employees offered a greeting much less assistance while I wandered around the store looking at items. They avoided eye contact and seemed completely uninterested in any customers at all. I found 3 bras to try on, stood by the dressing room door for a few minutes, wandered back to the front area to try to get someones attention to no avail. Finally I utiilized the doorbell in the dressing room. The associate unlocked the door, said if I needed something let her know and quickly walked off. I proceeded to try on 2 of the bras, became frustrated, quickly redressed and walked out of the store, passing 2 associates as I did. Niether one asked if I needed assistance, said goodbye or gave any other acknowledgement. In fact this is how the last few visits have been - no assistance. The last 2 times I have been, I wanted a bra fitting but I'm not comfortable with that when the associates seem to have a "don't care" attitude and ignore customers. In my opinion, for a bra fitting, you have to have some level of comfort and welcoming in order to feel confident with the process. Personally, if I am standing in front of someone in my bra, I do need to feel at least a little bit comfortable with the associates willingness to offer proper assistance. The last few times, no way. Several years ago, the associates were always friendly and helfpul. That is not the case at the VS in Flowood MS or the other location in Northpark Mall in Ridgeland MS. While I love VS bras and panties, my most recent purchases have been made at Belk and Dillards. I guess that today my new bra and panty purchases will be made at one of those stores again because I have vowed to NEVER go to VS again. Last night, there were 2 teenagers with their boyfriends in the store. The associates seemed a little more interested in helping them than helping the adult women in the store. Maybe VS is catering more to teenagers than to adult women. If that is the case, fine but stop marketing to adult women if your associates don't intend to help them with selections and bra fittings. Most of us adult women need bra fittings whether realize it or not. Other retailers I have been to offer a bra fitting to ensure that the right selections are made. Not VS anymore.
As a Director of a global Customer Care center for an international high end company, I must say that your Customer Care is severely lacking. My other profession is a business owner of 3 restaurants where we focus on providing excellent service to our guests. If anyone in my Customer Care Centers or my restaurants were so nonchalant to customers, I would be out of business. As a customer, my expectations are not high of employees who are probably either making minimum wage or slightly better.. I just expect basic helpfulness from employees however that is not what is offered at VS stores. Your employees, including the manager in the store, is not committed to your company, your store, your products or your customers. If it were not for your corporate reputation, your stores mentioned in this email would have been out of business a long time ago. You all need to incorporate secret shopping to get feedback and make corrections - that is if you are interesed. Perhaps your incomes are such that my potential purchases are of no consequence. However, how many people with money to spend have walked into your stores and left after an experience like mine?zeldazen 2/18/12 9:36AM -
Now I know why Victoria's Secret does not sell their catalog clothes in their stores. The material that they use is substandard. The pictures show a wonderful product. I ordered a summer dress, it said "cotton" ... it was a VERY cheap cotton, one washing and would have fallen apart. They seem to make their money on returns. This was not my first purchase from this company. I have tried a few times before, with only one success. This was my last order from that company.GeorgetteV 2/14/12 2:23PM

I've purchased quite a few things from Victoria's Secret in the past few years, although I am highly pleased with the bras and panties I get there I am always disappointed with the clothes. It's probably stupid of me to hope that a single piece of clothing I get will be as pictured. The color is always off, the size rarely fits as it should and I always feel disappointed after a clothing purchase. My last purchase was a pair of Jeans and $120 boots. In the picture the boots didn't look scrunched up at all, but when I got them they were slouchy. I purchased them when they had a $200 off $500 order, and I returned them with a pair of jeans I bought that were too big. The company wouldn't do an exchange or return because of the $200 off. So basically, it's as if I never got the discount which is the partial reason why I made the purchase in the first place. I think this is really poor customer service, and I won't be purchasing clothing from the store in the future.laurie 2/12/12 5:15PM

I have always shopped at Victoria's Secret for simply the cutest clothes and bras. My last experience made me feel as if I shouldn't have been there. I tried on 3 different bra's, then a few cute pairs of shorts. I opened the door to the dressing room to show my husband and sister the shorts and the sales associate asked me if I needed a larger size. I am not overweight and the associate made me feel as if I were. Not only was that the most embarrassing moment of my entire life...but my husband heard it to. I will never again return to that Victoria's Secret, nor another location unless my purchase is paid for by your company.
Thanks for taking the time out to read this!

I ordered something from the website and was a returning customer to the site and from my login, the website was able to pull up my information, but failed to have a shipping address field. The items are now being shipped to my billing address, which is different from where I want the gifts to go, I contacted customer service and they said there is nothing they can do as the order is allready paid for. I am active duty military stationed 1,500 miles away from my home of record and have no way to have the shipment changed now. The gift will now be sitting on the front door, or in a post office in arizona, thanks a lot customer service at victorias secret for nothing.AngryGIJoe 1/24/12 10:58PM

I have spent thousands and thousands of dollars at Victoria's Secret over the past several years, more than I would like to admit. Several thousand PER YEAR. I shop the stores, but also on line. When I order on line I spend usually $1,000 plus, because I never know what the quality will be. When the merchandise arrives, it is very rarely as pictured, which is very disappointing.
This Christmas was a real treat. I decided to buy matching pj's for all of the women in my family, as well as my friends, with matching slippers. Most I ordered on line, but had to run to the mall for a few pairs. On line, they were $29.99, yet at the store they were $49.99. Why would that be?? After Christmas I realized I needed a different size on one pair. Of course then I couldn't find them in the store, or on-line.
Then today, I had to return a pair that I received for Christmas, since 2 people bought me the same pair. I took the pair back that my boyfriend bought me, as they were too big. I had the receipt, as well as the gift receipt. The manager wanted to give me a "store credit". I didn't need a store credit, as I had just purchased everything I wanted on line a month ago, spending $1,200. It took him 20 minutes to finally give me my $75.00 back. I asked, "Do I have to return all of my Christmas gifts with the people who bought them for me?" Kind of rude, I believe. Oh, and the same silky pj's were $59.00 in the catalog, not $69. How do they get away with this??Kim 1/20/12 4:38PM -
I have had many problems dealing with the cashiers at the store in Illinois. I went there to return three bras. One she returned, the other two she said she couldn't find on the receipt. I looked at the codes on the bras and one, I couldn't find on the receipt so I figured it was on some other receipt I forgot. But the other, I found the exact code from the bra on the receipt. I pointed this out to her and she saw it was the EXACT same code. She returned it, when I get home, I notice the return is significantly less than what I bought it for. When I see the "ORIG RECEIPT: NONE" I think, what?! I showed her the receipt, I showed her the exact code when she couldn't find it originally, and she still had the audacity to claim there was no receipt and offer me less money than what I deserved. They hire the most unintelligent employees at this establishment and this is not the first time this has happened.Anonymous 1/17/12 11:32AM

Once again Victoria Secret has shown their commitment to the betterment of our wonderful town! All the local stores and businesses in Fairfield CT participated in Safety Street - giving out treats to kids under 10 for Halloween. A super friendly sign appeared in Victoria's Secret's window in bold letters scrawled in ball point ink "NO CANDY" - the only non-participant but probably the wealthiest store in town. Particularly love the hand scribbled message, without well wishes to our community out having an amazing day with our amazing children. How disappointing. Another reason to support the small local businesses over corporate greed. Shame on u Victoria Secret! And u think u are a member of our community? I think next year we'll set up our own little booth and give out the 5 cent lollipops right outside your door while discouraging patronage. Seriously, how much could it have cost you? You get to display your underwear and bras for 2 full blocks in the middle of our town. Might you consider giving back a little? Or at least a nice typed note saying, "Sorry that we won't be participating in Safety Street this year, but we hope you all have a safe and Happy Halloween!" I purchased 4 pair of black underpants and they are horrible. The quality is not what they used to be. I usually buy 20-25 pair of underpants every few years and when I purchased them last month, they were just plain AWFUL! They rolled up on my and when I took them off they just clumped into a ball. While wearing them, they were uncomfortable and I could not wait to get home to change into my old ones. Granted I am not a 20 year old girls, but the old underwear fit me just fine and were the best pants I ever had. I tried e-mailing you last month, but have not hear back so I am trying to comment here.Kathy 1/5/12 7:34AM

I had terrible experience at victoria's secret today at collin creek mall. I went to return few items that I purshesed a day before and the manager was the one who did the return. She was very rude and shaking her head all the times and finally she oppened the eye pencil that I was returning and she said this has been used. I told her that I did not even open the box but I got it from the sales section so someone else must tried it on. I don't need to lie or hide somthing stupid like this because simply if I did I would have said yes but I am not satisfied with my purches and I don't like the color.
That manager refused to give me her full name when I told her that I am going to contact the customer serivce she gave me her first name which is Najwa and she gave me a sneaky smile and she said let me see what you can do. I did contact the customer service and they promised to handle it. I hope so because this not fair for a customer to be treated this way. I already spent a big amount of money in this store during christmas, and I hate to treated this way specialy from a manager who is suppose to be an idol to her employee.Rania 1/4/12 7:18PM -
Although I have shopped here for many years and spent hundreds of dollars each month, the attitude of the store clerk that then transmitted into the young girl claiming to be the manager, I mean temporary cash wrap lead, I will never go to the Polaris store again. I love the products and will continue to use both Victoria's Secrets and VSX but never will I spend one dime in the Polaris Victoria Secrets again. What a shame they allow such bad attitude employees to represent such a store.Anonymous 1/1/12 2:14PM

I placed an online order on 12/12/11 of $138.85 and I paid with a $500 gift card that I received from my husband to buy Christmas gifts for my daughter. The next day I went to a Victoria Secret store and I wanted to buy more presents, but I wasn't able to buy anything because Victoria Secret took all 500 dollars from my card. I called customer service the very next day trying to get my money back. I was promised a refund before Christmas to be able to finish my shopping, but the gift card never came. I spent a lot of time on hold to have my problem resolved and today 12/29/11, I still don't have my money back. Maybe sometimes before next Christmas, I will get my money back. I don't think that I will ever place another online order. Also, very bad customer service. Just promises.Anonymous 12/29/11 11:32AM

victoria secret has a new program for rewards that involves you claiming a gift in one of two categories, the only problem ius they do not send the rewards out and if you call, well, no help is there. This appears to be shell game, with the consumer chasing imaginery rewards that do not arrive. Someone, please tell me you actually got yours and found the items in a store to claim. So far, I have submitted 14 rewards and none have arrived........emmarose 12/28/11 10:15AM

I am beyond apalled at Victoria Secret's return policy. I needed to swap a sent of their good smelling body sprays that I received for Christmas. The exact same bottle only a different scent and everything and I was told that anything that is purchased online has to be exchanged online with the purchase receipt. REALLY!!! Does anyone else see how rediculous that is?!! They have the exact same bottle right there on the shelf but I was turned away with no assistance. It Matters 12/27/11 9:21PM

I love Victoria's Secret's products, but the service is horrible (both in-store and online). A few minutes ago, I was using the official VS Pink app on my iPod Touch, and, under the Exclusives tab, it said that Pink Nation members could use 2 promo codes to get a free panty purchase and $10 off a bra purchase. Today is 12-25-2011, and it says that the offer expires on 12-28-2011, so naturally I went online, filled my shopping cart with items that could be used with these codes, and tried to check out. At the check out screen, however, the website said that the codes could not be recognized!! The codes didn't work separately, either. Frustrated, I went to my computer and tried to check out again, and the site became 'unavailable' as soon as I entered the codes! I give up. Not even going to check out.AshiTheNeonHero 12/25/11 2:44AM

Amazingly, Victoria's Secret verifies your order by having somebody telephone you and ask answers to all of the questions you have answered online when you ordered. Think about it: your order is made over a secure connection, then "verified" by somebody whose identity you cannot verify who telephones you on an unsecured line and questions you - name, email, home address, bank that issued you credit card, it goes on and on. If you refuse to answer, they cancel your order! Nobody who is informed, but nobody, in this age of identity theft would give private information like that out to a stranger who telephoned claiming to represent a company. What's with these people?SecurityPro 12/18/11 5:45PM

I am a very loyal customer. I buy 90% of my clothes here because I like the styles, quality, and am familiar with my size. It is very expensive, so I wait for the sales. I made numerous purchases this year and am not someone who only shops occasionally. I have made purchases twice now speficially for the secret rewards card and have yet to recieve one. The first time, I contacted customer service and was basically told too bad, so sad. So, I haven't bothered to contact them this time. I know the fine print has all the usual "while supplies last" and blah blah blah. It would have been nice for them to send one out for a loyal customer anyway or to, at the very least, not be rude about it. I will, unfortunately, need to part ways with Victoria's Secret and find somewhere else that I can enjoy shopping. The ability to use the rewards that you DO get is too limited. I have numerous $10 cards for spending so much money but you can only use 3 at a time. This would also inclue promo codes so if you want free shipping then you can only use 2 of your cards. Well, what's the point in spending all that money if I can't even use all of my rewards? Maybe it is less limited if you call rather than shop online but I refuse to call as every rep I have ever spoken with has been extremely rude.Anonymous 12/11/11 11:08AM

I recently ordered 2 seperate orders from VC online. I had used the same credit card for both orders. The first order was purchased black friday and the second on cyber monday. i have recetly recieved the order that was placed on cyber monday, so, worried that maybe someone had stole my package( due to a recent breakin in my apartments) I had emailed them. They told me that my card was unauthorized and they were giving me one more week. I understand that it is not there job to authorize cards, but why was it my card was authorized for the second purchase and not the other? My debit card had a total off $2000 on it and each order had been about 75 $ so I know for a fact that it wouldnthave bounced. Today (2 days after teh email said they would try for one more week) they had told me that my order was cancelled and that I can try to reorder. The only reason I ordered what I did was because everything was a great deal! VS said that I could not order teh same items at the same price, and that there is nothing they could do. I spend my money on VS quite frequently and I can assure them that, that is going to stop now. Customer service is pathetic here.angrycustomer 12/10/11 6:10PM

Horrible! I cancelled my credit card with them over a $20 dispute because of how upset I was after talking with Victoria Secret's customer service. I was paying a $10 balance on my card and their online payment center was down on my due date so my payment was late. I was charged a $20 late fee and called to complain. The customer service representative actually told me that I was dumb for not paying my bill beforehand because she was a smart enough person to look at due dates on her bill. I told her she was rude and asked to be transferred to a supervisor and she would not do so. She hung up on me. I wrote a letter to the head department and they cancelled my card after I requested so. They did not send back and letter apologizing for how horrible their employee was. I think that this shows they only care about money and nothing for their customers. Don't get a credit card with them and expect good customer service!UpsetCustomer 12/10/11 5:47PM

VS customer service sucks! I have encountered some really sweet sales associates but the majority of them are nasty. I returned a bra today and I noticed the cashier's attitude went from friendly to irritated. It doesn't kill her to process my return. I especially hate it when the sales associates whisper through their headsets. It is so rude. Also this is not the first time it has happened to me. I have witnessed sales associates talking smack about me through their little headsets many times. I politely thanked the sales associate and she seemed relieved that she was done with processing my transaction and didn't even say thank you. I know I'm not purchasing anything this time but how about the many other times I do purchase stuff. Sheeesh, crap customer service award goes to VS.crappyvs 12/10/11 1:01AM

I HATE VICTORIA'S SECRET!
My mother-in-law sent me some apparel from VS for my birthday. I sent them back for exchange. I neatly typed my new merchandise on Word to send with their receipt. They actually credited back my gift givers credit card instead. So I get no gift this year or call my gift giver to explain what happened which will just hurt her feelings. No apologies from VS. No compensation for their f*ck-up. I wrote them to cancel my account and delete me from their mailing list. I doubt they will do it or even respond.DiamondDeb 12/4/11 6:21PM -
I shop at VS more than I should after having to deal with their Costumer Service. But, I like their things not the company itself. The most recent was when they were having their rewards cards. I usually buy a couple things in November so I can have them for December. Well I purchased an item that was 20.50. Everything at VS is like and extra 50 cents because hey they couldn't be greedy or inconvenient enough. So I get my purchase back from a young blond haired girl and I say don't i get a reward card. And her response is No. There was nothing else just no. and than I was like what? and she was like what and than she started to laugh. I was like wtf is wrong here. So I did what any person does, looked for a name AND called and complained to her manager. I've also had a lot of trouble w. costumer service. When offer codes that worked at check out but get charged for them later.and and wrong item recieved. And a lot of items aren't described because VS only PUTS ONE PICTURE UP of an item. only store i know that does that. IF they don't put enough money into their VS fashion show of 2.5 millon dollar bra can only show you how much VS cares about the little people. But, I love their pink stuff, i don't what it is about it and I will continue buying it but ill continueing complaining.u2 12/3/11 12:39AM

I agree with the fact vs rips off their customers when ordering online. Have ordered clothing with them for a few years now and seems that every other shipment is missing a item or more than one item, then when you call, they accuse you of lying pretty much.
First off, if I received the item I wouldn't be going through so much to get if fixed.
Either it didn't get put in package or something went wrong along the way ( have had several boxes re taped)I didn't get item, I paid for. So ya I want my money back or item re-placed. Pathetic. This has happened more than a few times, and all I can say is I am done with shopping with them.BNL 12/1/11 8:48PM -
I absolutely despise dealing with Victoria's Secret customer service. I know that when I order from them, at least half will be wrong or will be going back. I've gotten sent wrong sizes packaged in an "XS" stickered plastic bag. I've gotten sent wrong colors packaged with a sticker stated the color I did indeed order. Calling CS never really resolves anything. NOW I bought a Swarovski bra on clearance that promised it would come with a gift box. First time, no gift box. I called and they said they'd send a new one with the box. Second time, no box! I called and they told me it never came with one even though written in the description and the CS lady the first time around said so. I sent one back. They did credit me. Then I sent the other back because I just didn't want it anymore and now they're telling me they are going to charge my Visa the $79.99 because they mistakenly credited me. Now I don't even have either of the bras. Not sure why they haven't received the other, but I am not looking forward to dealing with this one.Anonymous 12/1/11 1:10PM

The last time I was in VS was 24 Sep 11: I handed over my Mastercard and then recalled that I had a points card with them--so I mentioned this to the cashier. I signed for the purchase on a computerized pad and walked out.
Three months later, I've received a forwarded letter indicating that my VS account is overdue and I owe the original cost of 54$ plus fees amounting to 30$ as I write this. This would explain the random phone calls that began on 24 Nov 11 from numbers in OH and CO--none of which left a message on my voicemail! These calls are coming twice a day now (29 Nov 11) but I have yet to be at the phone to receive one.
I just tried contacting VS customer service and was informed that the credit card office is only open until 2000EST, entirely useless for those of us living on the West coast who don't want to waste time at work making calls to discuss personal finances.
I am completely disgusted at this entire incident. The VS credit card should NOT be referred to as a rewards card; this is misleading. The cashier should not take a person's credit card and then charge to their VS account without informing the customer.
Fortunately, there is a 90 day return policy. This is the one saving grace of my situation: they can have their bra back and never have to deal with me again.E.Anglin 11/29/11 9:06PM -
Overall customer service, I was beyond appalled by. Not only did Victoria secret call my home telephone repeatedly, they harassed my entire family in the process of attempting to collect a payment on a Victoria secret credit card that after all the harassing calls, statements made to my family members, an than refusing to give their name of who we were speaking too and laughing in the background. The payment on the card they were attempting to collect did not exist and the balance on the card was $0.00 due. After a long, immature 3 days of these types of calls and finally proving that they had made a mistake, The Company Refused to formally apologize to the household. I currently am in the processes of filing a complaint with the district attorneys office against this company. I refuse to allow these people treat others, their families, and anyone else that can answer a phone this way.brknwngangel 11/23/11 2:20PM

Do not shop online from this company. I am from Canada (there are shops in Canada but they do not have all the items available in the States). I ordered items for my daughter for Christmas online and finalized the transaction. It showed the final amount plus $20 odd for shipping and said I was to pay the duty on delivery. I checked my email a few hours later and their confirmation email showed me the amount plus 23% sales tax on top of what I paid. I emailed them and said to cancel because that was not right. They emailed me back and said the shipment had already gone out and they could not cancel. They refused to work with me. DO NOT ORDER ONLINE FROM THEM.Kat 11/21/11 10:54PM

I've been shopping with Victoria Secret for yrs now, spending thousands of dollars a year on their products. Their customer service is completely horrible, horrible is an understatement. I usually use my mastercard for purschases, and have used this Angels card twice! First, when I used thiscard back in February 2011; I get a $25.00 late fee, on top of a $3.50 finance charge fee. They "claim" they sent the bill via e- mail, which is NOT TRUE! I pay all my bill statements online, and they Always send me a notification, so I pay them. I have excellent credit, and all my bills are paid on time, and on top of that, I have NO debt. So, they removed the late fee, finance charge for first the first time. I was happy, and satisfied, with no complaints. Paid the bill; and every month I order more products from them, but I use my mastercard. Well,I wanted to pay my credit card off, so I decided to use the ANGELS card again, the 2nd time around in September 2011; 9 months later. Well, again they never sent me a bill via e- mail, and they claim they did, that it was in my SPAM folder. Funny, how I pay all my bills via e mail, and NONE of them get lost, except, for this V.S. angel card statement. Funny... to me. I get charged again; $25.00 late fee, $3.50 finance charge, and this time they won't remove these fees, due to they only remove 1 a year. This company makes billions of dollars a year, and as one of their good paying, loyal customers; they can't remove $28.50 in fees??? How can they treat their customers this way? What's $28.50 to a billion dollar company. This card is a complete scam, rip off, they NEVER send bills to your e- mail. They claim they do, then charge you outrageous fees. I'm APALLED!I cancelled my card with them, and advise others to do so too!Melissa 11/4/11 9:50PM

Terrible. Absolutely terrible. I used my credit card twice, for a total of two $30 transactions. I went online to pay them seperately, and MONTHS later, I'm sent a letter saying that the payment did not go through. I've received multiple calls from the company switching stories between me doing something wrong while trying to pay my bill, and them blaming it on the online system. I've tried to pay the bill 3 times online and 3 times by phone. The third time by phone, after being given attitude by the caller, it was taken care of. Either way I'm extremely disappointed, and I will NOT be using my victoria's secret credit card again. I was also charged 15 extra dollars because their system wouldn't pay by my checking account? Yeah. Rip off. If you have the choice, do NOT get a VS credit card. You're better off paying cash and not being hassled for months afterward.angelrachelle 10/25/11 7:06AM

I had ordered purple sweatpants and a matching sweatshirt from VS a couple weeks ago. When I received the order, I got the purple sweats but the sweatshirt was silver! I called and complained and they said they'd send out the right one with no shipping charge. I thought 'ok fine no problem.' Well the shipping was fast but it was the same silver sweatshirt again! I couldn't believe they couldn't get a simple color right! I just sent the sweatshirt back and got my money back on my card for I didn't need to deal with that confusion again.Marialbina 10/18/11 2:34PM

Victoria's Secret is a ridiculuos company.
I've been buying their beauty products for months with a big amount because that way we can save the shipping cost.In my country,we don't have Victoria's Secret so i have to buy Victoria's secret from their website. So recently i just got banned from buying from Victoria's Secret, the reason they gave me is,‘we are not the wholesaler,so the amount of beauty products that you bought is way too much for personal use’.And they said i already bought more than $4000 in half year,so i'm banned now from buying because i spent too much in buying their beauty product.
Honestly,does it make sense?
Can you imagine someone tells you that you cannot shop in my place anymore because you spent too much in my store for the past few months.Anonymous 10/17/11 7:15PM -
When I applied for a card the salesperson asked for my social, which I gave her. Someone had input my name wrong and they told me I would have to take the wrong name even though I showed them my driver's license and a credit card with the correct spelling. I told them I have three first names and people are always inputting the name incorrectly. That is why I have proof, my bank card, driver's license and all my credit cards. They told me I could change the name over the phone with a customer service representative later. That makes absolutely no sense since in the store they can physically see all my documentation and over the phone there is only my word. They wanted me to sign my name incorrectly, which I said constituted fraud. I ended up signing my name correctly regardless and when the Angel card came in the mail I canceled it. There is no sale or discount VS can offer that makes me want to work with a company that deploys no common sense.Ellion 10/12/11 9:02AM

This company is one of the worst I've dealt with. First off customer service begins with the quality of merchandise which VS has decided of late to be less quality and increased price. Makes sense right? Their customer service reps are rude on the phone no wonder I believe they use to hire people who mildly resembled their models... and apparently are dumb as bricks too. I contacted customer service via phone and was told my account was linked to my old address (over 4 years ago)!! Wow, I accidentally stumbled across this site when I (thought) I was interested in having VS send me a replacement card. I shop at VS frequently and have had both good and bad experiences at the Ardmore, PA and King Of Prussia, PA stores. One very bad experience at Ardmore was centered around me trying to find a black strapless bra. The first saleswoman measured me and announced I should be wearing size 36C. I took that size and put it on simply to PROVE to the girl that I could not POSSIBLY fit into a 36C (I wear a 38DD). Once she realized that she made such an awful gaffe another salesgirl was drafted to assist me. The second one stated that the store did not sell what I was looking for. I assured her that I was looking for a very common style of bra and this was a store that specialized in bras so they HAD to have a suitable bra SOMEWHERE in the store. A third girl took over and said she could help me and she managed to produce the correct style, color and cup bra but not in a 38. She left me in the dressing room and promised to bring me an extender. I waited...and waited...and waited...and then peeked out to find this girl assisting a group of teenagers at the thong table. It then hit me like a ton of bricks that these girls would buy lots of things with credit card and THEIR MOTHERS would pay the bill. Here I was, the person who actually paid the VS bill for me and my daughter but I couldn't get anyone knowledgeable or responsible enough to see that I got what I was desperately trying to buy. I wordlessly left the store and walked across the street to Macy's where the perfect black strapless bra was found by a mature saleswoman, tried on and paid for by me all in less than 10 minutes. Anyway, every time I tried to use my Angel card before and after that incident the zero balance card didn't work and no one could ever tell me why. I was going to try to get it reissued by after reading these reviews and recalling that awful time in Ardmore I think I'll just stick with VISA.Anonymous 8/24/11 7:39PM

I just tried to return an item to the VS Store in the Annapolis Mall. I purchased a bikini for $70 95 days ago - both pieces were unworn with tags and I had an original receipt. The Company's return policy is to give a full refund for returns within 90 days of original purchase, and to refund for the lowest ticketed price thereafter. I was told by the associate processing my return that she could credit me $9.99 for each piece ($19.98 total - that's a loss to me of $50.02!) because I was outside of the 90-day return window (by 5 days!). I have been a loyal customer to this Company and spend several hundred dollars in this store every few months. I asked her if, given that I was only 5 days past the policy deadline, she could make an exception and give me a full refund on my credit card OR a full refund in the form of merchandise credit. She rudely said she could do nothing for me, and then deferred me to her manager, who rudely refused to issue the refund. The manager's attitude and her unwillingness to bend the rules to make a paying customer happy truly disappointed me. This is poor customer service at its worst. I've returned items at Nordstrom and other retailers over a year after I've purchased them with NO RECEIPT and gotten cash back or merchandise credit. Frankly, this is unacceptable and I will not be shopping at Victoria's Secret again in the future.Anonymous 8/2/11 11:08AM

Manager in the Waco Texas mall Susan Lowe is extremely rude. She also lies about the products in store. I asked for her supervisors name, but she would not give it to me. I then asked another employee in which she stated Susan lies constantly to get what she wants, make sales quotas, and steals from the store. She claimed it would be a waste of time to contact corporate because she has the fooled and wrapped around her finger. I was very disappointed in the service I received there, but I give credit to the employee who was honest and straight forward. I ordered three tops online. I checked my order status and realized that it was shipped to my billing address.
I have a different shipping address, and it's not that uncommon. I called Victoria Secret and they told me my shipping address was in place of my billing address. I explained to the lady if I used my shipping address as my billing address it (my order) wouldn't have gone through. My credit card (billing address) isn't my shipping address.. plain and simple.
Ironically, Victoria's Secret does not show proof of addresses of your order. What's up with that ?.
I don't know why they could not just admit to their mistake. They told me 1 out of 3 items will be shipped to my "shipping address". I don't know what happened to my other two items magically they aren't in stock... Makes no sense to me. Hopefully they refund me and send me a new tracking number.
I have order lots of things online and never had a problem for example: JCP, F21, Free People, Urban Outfitters, Sephora, and a few other companies. All those companies I have used two different addresses and didn't mix them up, or they mixing them up.yourplasticrose 6/15/11 6:05PM -

Twice I have purchased items online from Victoria's Secret and both times there was something wrong and shipping was delayed for 2-5 weeks. I understand that unavoidable delays will happen, but both times they failed to notify me that there was going to be a delay and these items were purchased as gifts. Cancelled the order and my angel card. This is unfortunate because I love their clothes and they aren't sold in stores:(Anonymous 6/7/11 8:20AM

I am very disappointed with the level of customer service in VS stores, specifically The VS at the Cambridgeside Gallaria in Cambridge, MA. Today I went there prepared to buy many items from the Limited Edition Red Sox line as well as a few bras. I received no help from the staff when I asked for help in finding my size in bras. One of the girls that works there was following me around "fixing things" but she acted more like I was stealing every time I bent down to check for a size (because no one would help me!) The employees were gossiping in a circle in the corner of the store at one point. When I went to check out, there were 3 cashiers--one actually working, one ignoring customers, and one, that upon finishing with a customer, walked away from a full line of people! I had enough by that point and immediately put my bag full of items down where I was standing and walked out. I can't believe how lazy and unhelpful the employees at this store have become. I used to work there five years ago and all of us worked hard, but they have most certainly gone downhill with training since then! I tried calling the store and asked for the manager, I was put on hold--FOR AN HOUR!!Anonymous 5/26/11 9:58PM

The staff at VS is very unknowledgable. For a specialty woman's store, they do not understand the need for specific lingerie for women with large breasts. Most of their bras are padded and underwire, which many women do not like anyway. They roll their eyes when their items do not fit large breasted women. That is downright rude.Cheryl 5/25/11 12:45PM

I was shopping at the Victoria' Secret store in Lynnwood, WA. While waiting in line on a busy day to try on some bras I was astonished at the number of men gawking at the dressing room doors every time they opened hoping to get a peek. When I confronted the store manager she refused to listen to me to really listen to the fact that I was uncomfortable with enormous amount of men at the dressing room entrance, peering into the dressing room area. I believe this is inappropriate and makes the women trying to shop for bra's and panties very uncomfortable.
I left the Victoria's Secret store very disappointed since I have been a loyal customer for over 20 years and purchased $400 of bras and panties at Soma's instead.
Victoria's Secret needs to be more sensitive to customers wanting to try on intimate clothing without the abuse of men gawking at the dressing rooms.
The Victoria Secret in-store merchandise is also entirely for high school and college age girls. I wouldn't mind if even half the store was for a younger demographic but the lack of merchandise that appeals to a mature women is disappointing. I will be shopping at Soma's from now on.

I went to the Victoria Secret located at the Tacoma Mall in Washington. Electra ( the girl who helped me out)was friendly and helping me out with the lotions and bras, and when I reach the counter to check out, Angela (the person who was my cashier) told me that my coupon that I got from them, is not valid. I printed it off from the computer and it wasnt expired or anything and I got it directly from them. She then getting all snobby and unprofessional. Didnt appreciate that one bit, customers are treated like they are always right. Plus, I showed her on my iphone where I got the coupon. Worse case of customer service ever, don't think I will be going back there if people treated me like they did today. :[Anonymous 4/23/11 12:30PM

I went to victorias secret yesterday 4/15/2011 at sawgrass mills mall in sunrise florida and i felt very disappointed with the staff special with one young lady that gave me a nasty attitude she was rude so unprofessional and very disrespectful she was in my face telling me that i got to move because she was doing a make up for another customer and not letting me choose my on make up and the way she said it was awful terrible i told her listen dont talk me that way and she goes like girl dont try to play that attitude with me because youre not going nowhere with that im helping another customer and you gotta move, i looked a her like i cant believe she just talked to me that way and i took a deep breath and count to ten because i didnt want to cause any drama in the store so i moved a little bit to my left hand side and she goes right behind me and she hit my purse with her arm several times and i told her to stop and shes like well you gotta move more, so i got enough of her attitude and i called the manager i told her what happend in front of her and she continued arguing with me, the

I went in to the VS store on Lexinton and 58/59th Street, in New York City. I asked them to look up my card because I left my VS Angel Platinum card on my desk at home. Well, I was told if you don't use your card in a certain perid of time, you lose it.
I'm a little disappointed, more than a little actually, why do i have a card and want to purchase $400 worth of things every time and then get shot down? Not GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICEAnonymous 4/6/11 11:44AM -

I got no service when in fitting room after I pushed the service light. I had a gift card coupon I had received in the mail for a free week end bag. I waited especially at this time to shop because of the bag. It is an 80 mile round trip for me. I was told they were out of bags. This was the 2nd day, there were 2 days left. I was very disappointed in the1
shopping trip. I shop at VS 4 or 5 a year & spend several $$ at each visit. I am looking for another store to purchase the items I usually get at VS. I was telling my co-workers & some of them stated they had already found another place to shop because of similar instances.Anonymous 3/8/11 5:54AM -
I bought "2 for $24" bras at victoria's secret. I tried one on when I got home and it didn't fit so I took them back. They still had the tags on and I had the reciept. I went to return them and the lady working asked why I didn't want them. I said that I tried one on at home and it didn't fit. She then proceeded to tell me that since I "wore it at home I couldn't return it" I was frustrated but decided to just return the one bra that I hadn't tried on. But then she refused to give me any more then 8 dollars back for the one bra because I was keeping the other one, which she forced me to do. She was really rude and I ended not returning them because she was so mean and snobby. I loved Victoria's secret, I spent a lot of money there.. not anymoreanonymous 3/8/11 1:33AM

Went to the Victoria Secret store at our local mall on a Wednesday to purchase a strapless bra to wear to an event on Friday. The clerk told me they were all out of stapless bras and sugessted I order it. When I told her I needed it on Friday, she said
"why would you wait until the last minute?"
Now maybe I am wrong, but all you sell are undergartments.....and why exactly would you be out of them???? all of them???? went to the Department store next door that carries everything from shoes to pots and pans and they had a huge assortment of strapless bras available, and cheaper...why exactly are you still in business????Anonymous 3/7/11 10:59AM -
I finally decided to write now after my horrible experience with v.s. A month ago, I ordered online different clothes, lingerie, swimming suits, which cost me $ 1,449.79 or 1,036.22 euros. It is my first time to order v.s online. I have been purchasing stuffs online and used my visa card for hotels, etc. for many yrs and it was my first time to have my visa card verified on phone by one of v.s rep.2 days after my order. Since its not possible to purchase online for more than 30 items at once, I made two orders and email them to have my orders to be shipped all at once. I even chose the fastest shipping to Spain as I am waiting for my stuffs to arrive before we go for a holiday with my family which cost me more. After that credit card verification call, I thought everything is fine as I thought they are just doing their job to protect their clients for credit card fraud which for me is good. A week after I receive an email from them that my order is pending due to my account and have to call the number that they gave me. So of course I called their customer service to ask whats the problem. They said they said they can't process my order cause they have not yet received a fax confirmation from my bank in Spain. So I give them again my bank fax number and other numbers giving them country & area code completely so they could call & verify themselves but v.s rep said they can't call my bank and will not do it. They can only send fax to my bank? What is this for a stupid reason?! When they were able to call me to verify my credit card if I am the cardholder, then why the heck they can't call my bank? I also didn't receive any replies from my question if they can ship my 2 orders all at once and had to email them again but I only get a stupid automated answers that they can't attend my email due to weather conditions. What?!!! what is the weather conditions has to do with my simple question? And put in their email that if I have a question I have to call their customer service. In short, I emailed them 5 times with a stupid automated answers. And phoned their customer service long distance for 5 or 6 times which cost me euros for thier unprofessional service and rude v.s rep. I just arrived for 1 week holiday and I still didnt hear any email about new status of my order which is still (in process) for 1 month passed already. Wow! So i give them another call today and customer rep is asking me the same question and same old story and stupid answers they give me about fax number. Customer service rep was putting me "on hold" for more than 6 mins. and just got disconnected saying "all offices are closed" OMG! Im so pissed off how rude they are! I then decided to cancel my order at this very moment I'm writing. This VS company is really giving me much headache and stress!!! It seemed this unprofessional Victoria Secret company don't give a F*#k for new costumers. Just a waste of money for keep calling them from Spain and such a waste of time. Better to buy at the local retailer who knows what is GOOD service and with better respect for a (new) customer !
Good luck shopping guys and be warned with VS.madness 3/7/11 10:29AM -
Call me crazy but I gave victoria's secret a second chance after my first huge frustration with them and here, again, I am burned! Last summer, 2010, I purchased several bathing suits for my daughter online. When the suits arrived all but 1 of the tops didn't fit (mostly because v.s. swim tops are cute way too small for what my daughter & I deem appropriate for a 16 yr. old to wear, I guess I should've guessed that but we ordered up a size thinking that would cover (literally) the problem). Little did we know you can't return or exchange in store if you purchase online! ugh! We were heading out of town the following week for 3 weeks of 'fun in the sun' so we had to go elsewhere for swimsuits since it was impossible to exchange via snail-mail in that amount of time! We ended up returning almost all of the suits less the shipping fee which I paid using their label as told to me by the phone rep. Again, I didn't know you can send it yourself via any form of return you desire as the opposite was communicated to me by the phone rep. After actually losing money to v.s. last year, I swore them off! Not to mention, the reps in the store & on the phone were not only misleading but extremely rude! The girl in the store acted like I was handing her a bag with acid or dog excretions in it when I thought we were "allowed" to return to the store what we'd purchased online! wth!? So, mid-December I purchased $374 worth of items online from v.s. again! Thinking I knew the return poicy this time, there wasn't a time-crunch as before with the swimsuits so I'd be fine! Well, for some reason the order didn't go thru the first time, according to v.s. rep the $ wasn't avaiable in it's entirety so they keep trying for up to 14 days, every other day until the order goes thru or their 2 week period is exhausted. On Dec. 31st, they shipped my order. When I called today, 1-25-11, I was not only told they didn't have to help me because it was outside the 3 week time frame of calling for price adjustments (which is not printed on the back of the order form with all of their other rules (ie:exchanges, returns, backorders, etc) but they weren't going to put the money back on my credit card! They were, infact, doing me a favor by placing it on a store gift card so that I could use the $36.51 (not the $100+ they truly owed me inside the 3 week time-frame they don't tell you about anywhere!!) in-store or online! When I asked why I wasn't receiving the accurate amount of money owed to me of what I'd seen online, they then told me they (ready for this??) "couldn't look back that far on the internet to see prices from before this day!" Again.....wth?! Seriously?! In this day & age v.s. wants me to believe that they can't look up the prices from the semi-annual sale that was going on when they billed me on the 31st of Dec. but didn't bill me the sale prices, they billed me the FULL prices of all items from mid-Dec. not Dec. 31st. when the order was pushed thru and all items were on sale?! Why didn't they honor all sale items when they pulled & billed the order on Dec. 31st? Then when I call to get the accurate price adjustments from the 31st, they give me some run-around about a 3 week price adjustment period & tell me they can't look back online before today?!?!?! Holy cow! You charged me $374+ on Dec. 31st erroneously because all but 3 of my 16 items were on sale but no one took the time to relook at that (that seems unlawful) then when I call to make sure someone is recrediting my credit card for the accurate amount of each item at order & shipping time some "superivisor" named "Leola" tells me I'm outside the 3 week price adjustment date?! I'm not outside anything when you billed me inaccurately in the first place! And, how in the heck can v.s. not be able to look back at prices from 2-3 weeks ago? Seriously?! If that's the truth, someone's in need of a systems update so they can get with the 21st century of technology! I am going to give away the gift card (if it even comes from Lorraine, the initial rep. I spoke with before being escalated to Leola who did nothing!) because I won't shop there! I'm also going to ask our attorney, when we meet the beginning of next month, how a company can charge you the wrong prices and then tell you they can't change them because I called, to remind them to do their job, outside the 3 week lotted time?! never, ever again will shop there and let me tell you, we lay down some serious cash on clothes! Take care and be safe shopping with v.s. they're not in the business of customer careWolverinefan 1/25/11 12:33PM

There are no words to describe the unreasonableness and rudeness of managers at the Hulen Mall at Fort Worth , TX. They had the gumption and tenacity to accuse a former employee of being fraudalent and "fishy" when she tried to return her Christmas Gift for a different style. They yelled and belittled her before other customers for her receiveing gifts from VS for full price and would not allow her to even use her gift card asking her where she got it from. They also alleged that the receipt was fraudelent and they wanted to know where her mother shopped and why she hadnt shopped at that store (because her mother happens to live 7 hours away from there)! So my daughter quit! I am so disgusted with them, that I truly believe they should be fired for discrimminating and for alleging such false accusations. I promise I will never spend a single dollar at that store I paid about $300 in cash for that merchandise they just lost a very valuable customer! They need to get an education on pr management! VS is losing out for hiring dumb people who could care less about the company they are probably the thieves and know how to get away with it! Someone should start a bouycott against this company! VS doesn't deserve the attention it gets from wonderful ladies who think that VS id a great place to shop! Later it was proven that these allegations were false when the manager from Ingram ParK Mall called to verify that such purchase was made. These people are complete idiots in my book like I mentioned earlier they should be FIRED!Jodie 12/28/10 4:52PM

VS has very rude customer service associates and supervisors. Don't ever combine your orders into a big one to take advantage of the free shipping or dollar off promotion. They will flag you as a reseller if you try to buy around 20 beauty items or so in a single transaction. They will not reason with you; they don't care if you're shopping for your mother, sisters, cousins, friends... They just simply tell you to let those people order stuff on their own. That kind of defeats the purpose of buying gifts, doesn't it??? What is the point of having a clearance sale if I can't order like 3 Lip Glosses or 4 Eyeshadow's?Anonymous 12/28/10 1:53AM

EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I go to that store, I am disgusted with the service. Either they chase you around the store asking every 2 minutes if they can help you, or they completely ignore you and try to avoid eye contact to avoid helping you. I walked in the store today in Ogden Utah and 2 sales associates were standing at the enterance talking to eachother, they both looked at me, and continued their conversation as if I were a ghost. Then I had to search around for 5 minutes to find someone to let me in a dressing room. It's so irritating and I think i'm finally throwing in the towel with them alltogether.razz 12/22/10 1:29PM

VS spends so much money on advertising, television shows, and catalogs but when you try to order something from the catalog for Christmas, they will backorder and then when you don't receive item and call customer service, they tell you there's no item to send out. Honestly, this happened to me a week before Christmas. They sent me a hoodie but told me they don't have the matching pant. They keep you on hold forever. My Victoria's secret bill for a whole $17 is due today, so I went online to pay it... it looks like for 'same day processing' they want to charge me another $10! Either that, or if I don't pay the $10 they will charge me a $25 late fee. So I called to see if I could talk to them and explain I didn't know that it would be $10 for same day (if my bill is due today, I don't see why I have to pay additional to pay it today - rediculous! Every other bill I pay, if I pay on the due date they do NOT charge extra) and they pretty much said too bad, or you can pay it in store. This was after it took me about 15 minutes to get through to a real person. The first lady I spoke too sounded like she had no idea what she was talking about, it took her 10 minutes to transfer me to a manager, and the manager was rather rude and just kept telling me I had to pay the $10 extra or get a late fee. I am at work until 10 PM today, if I had known about this $10 fee I would have paid it before I went to work. So for a $17 bill, I will now wind up paying $27 for paying my bill on the day it is DUE - not even late! Thanks Victoria's Secret, cutting up my card now!

My experience calling Victoria's Secret for help resolving a slight problem with their credit card made me want to just destroy the card and not look back. They make finally getting a human being to talk to like searching the Holy Grail with endless button pushing and routings and then I still got to a wrong place. The people in the store and the letter I got in the mail said opposite things.. Victoria Secrets is trying to be a high end store but with budget customer service. I will go out of my way and play a little bit extra to be able to talk to a friendly and accessible human being. In this case, it may mean that my business just goes elsewhere.

I am sixteen years old, and I went on the Victoria's Secret website to find a phone number I could call to find out how long their pajama sale was going on, because I want to buy some for my mom for Christmas, and I get paid every two weeks at my job at McDonald's. I called the phone number at the bottom of the site, and an automated voice said "Eager for some stimulating conversation? call- 1-800-###-####" and so, thinking maybe by "stimulating conversation" they meant "customer service", I called the number. BIG mistake. it turned out to be a phone-sex hot line. It was asking if I was ready to talk to "horny girls".
I was honestly appalled. All I wanted was customer service. I am an avid shopper at Victoria's Secret, and I love everything there. Another big problem with them is that their bras run big. I'm a B there, when I would normally be a C. Their clothes (in the PINK section) run REALLY big and long, too, which is a problem for short, thin girls like me. every pair of sweat pants i buy, my mom has to hem or cut them. I guess its a good thing, though, so that bigger girls can shop there too. Unlike other popular stores like Hollister and Abercrombie & Fitch that are made only for super skinny people.synchrogurl 11/28/10 7:02PM -
Victoria's Secret has very rude associates. Thought the associates were rude, I found out the managers were even worse. I brought in a coupon printed from Pink Nation, the associate didn't know what it was and said very loudly "I don't know what this coupon is; I've never seen it before." Then she involved other associates who didn't know what it was either. Then they called in the manager. The manager took a look at it with a frown face and threw it on the table with disgust, "Let her use it, FOR NOW." I cannot believe the way I've been treated when using this coupon. If they don't want customers to use any coupon, then don't issue it. I will never shop there again.Anonymous 11/23/10 10:58AM

I went to a Victoria's Secret in Savannah, GA in the Savannah Mall 11/5/10,and I purchased a pair of Pink sweat pants. I realized when I took them home they had a huge hole in them. I called the store and spoke to a manager, and I told her I had my receipt with the tags attached. I told her I'd return them the following day. I asked her name and she told me she couldn't tell me. I thought it was odd because the young lady who answered the phone told me her name. I called customer service to see if that was a company policy to not give out your name, and I was told that it wasn't a policy and she was just being rude. I made a formal complaint, and the cs rep asked if she could help me with my sweat pants. I told her I simply wanted to exchange them, and the nameless manager said I could do so. I went to exchange the pants and I was told that I couldn't because they had "sensor damage." The manager proceeded to tell me if they pants were damaged, the cashier would've noticed and wouldn't have sold them to me. That was obviously untrue because neither I nor the cashier noticed the hole prior to purchase. The manager told me she couldn't exchange my pants because she couldn't resell them with the hole, although I purchased them with a hole. I was so upset that I was accused of stealing sweat pants when I had my original receipt, and I called the store to let them know that same day. Customer service handled the situation professionally, but I'm still disgusted and appalled by the way I was treated on two separate occasions by two different managers. If they were more skilled at watching the sales floor, maybe someone wouldn't have made such a valiant effort to steal the pants and the leave there for another customer to purchase. I will never go back to that store, and I will continue to pursue this issue with the company because they had no reason not to exchange them when I had my original receipt and was within the dates for an exchange.Anonymous 11/7/10 6:53AM

HIGH PRESSURE! I just called for a simple request and I was not offered, but TOLD I was going to sign up for their protection plan! I don't carry a balance (no one should), so I told them that I didn't need it and she persisited!! I know that all of the major credit cards act like this, but I thought some store credit cards still had some class--NOPE!Jessdav 9/22/10 2:50PM

I am fed up with Victorias secret customer service. I like the people in their stores... well some of them. But I recently recieved multiple phone calls from a number; but they never left a voice mail... So i called it back and it said i owed a $35.00 late fee... I paid my fee on time and it was a minimum of $10.00 I'm assuming that my account minimum went up, and they decided to not tell me. Last time they said they tried to get me by sending e-mails. Yesterday I talked to three people trying to pay the fee, and it didn't work. So tomorrow I physically have to go in to the store and pay it. The $35 is going to be two days late, and I don't know if I will get another fee for next month?
The one guy I got on the phone was really helpful tonight. The rest not so much. I'm closing my card, and then I'm done with credit companies.thestarletmoon 9/19/10 7:42PM -
I was recently assessed a $20 late fee due to my bill not being paid on time. It was my negligence, (misplaced bill) but I wanted to call to see if they would give me a one time courtesy to remove, since I had excellent credit with them. The difficulty I had was in locating a number that did not take me to the automated system. After calling customer service (for ordering) the rep waiting on line till she got someone for me, then transferred. The rep did remove the late fee. I then asked her what number can I call to discuss my bill and talk to a live person and she gave me,1-800-695-9478. I hope this alleviates frustration for someone else. I had such a hard time reaching anyone concerning this, till I went around the automated system.pditty 9/13/10 7:55AM

Victoria's Secret's credit card company is the WORST...you mail your payment in sufficient time but for some reason they are the only company not to receive your payment on time. Then they charge you a $20 late fee, I then repaid the bill again so now they owe ME money but will not send MY money back to me.Do Not Buy VS 9/1/10 5:09PM

I recently purchased merchandise from Victoria's Secret. A week after I received my shipment, a duplicate shipment was sent to me.
I received an email from Victoria's Secret threatening me that if I did not ship the package back to them within THEIR time frame, the cost of that duplicate package would be automatically deducted from my credit card. THAT IS AN ABSURD STATEMENT! Why should YOUR customers be forced to repair a mistake YOU made and then, if they do not ship the package back to you in the time frame YOU want, you write that you will automatically deduct money from their account!?!?!?
I have spent thousands upon thousands of dollars with this company. For their rude and absurd statement, along with their ridiculous demand, I will NEVER use Victoria's Secret again.Leslie 7/21/10 9:13AM -
I was browsing the internet for other customer service complaints, and it appears that my issue is sadly not unique. I was making a purchase during the semi annual sale in June 2010, and during this transaction the sales associate asks me if I want to sign up for a benefits card to receieve coupons, discounts, etc.
I asked her three times if this was a credit card, and three times she kept saying that it was a customer loyalty card (and not a credit card). Well, I thought it was strange when she asked for my ssn for verification, but thought nothing of it until I saw the credit agreement in my bag later.
Furious, I immediately called the number on the credit agreement. After 15 min of various automated messages, I came to this forum to find a way to contact a real person. After dealing with attitude from the woman at the bank, I requested that I be sent a letter of verification that the account was closed. Fortunately the letter did arrive.
Unfortunately, this deceptive tactic could negatively impact my credit score!Anonymous 7/7/10 6:54AM -
I went to my local store to redeem my free panty card, which is a nice perk for shopping @ VS and using their angel card, to learn they no longer carry size XL. The young girl working says, "You can get a size L." I don't think so. When I called customer service to complain about the fact they no longer carry panties in the XL size, she was rude and only tried to defend their "new marketing strategy". I will cut up my VS angel card and not shop at your stores anymore. How is that for marketing strategy?Anonymous 6/29/10 9:11AM

I bought a bra in April. I have never received a bill either snail mail or email. I forgot about this purchase because I rely on an invoice to remind me payment is due. If this was a reoccurring monthly bill I never would have forgotten it invoice or not, I keep track of them. I started getting calls from WFNNB, didn't answer because I didn't know who it was. Finally looked them up on internet and figured out it must be about either Gap, Express, or Victoria's Secret. I went online to all my separate accounts, all their websites are difficult to negotiate and often you can't get on. Only ones I have any trouble with are these. Finally I get through to my account with VS and I see a balance of $104. I don't know what it is for so I click on statements. Only statement on my account was April 2010 for the $65 bra. Not a May statement or a June statement. So I call them to pay the $65 and inquire about the rest of the balance. I was told by two very rude people "Jane" and "Justin" who could barely speak english that there were about $40 in late fees and fines. I told them I had never received an invoice and they essentially said I was lying and even if I hadn't why didn't I keep better track of my accounts. Huh? Then I told them I could prove I had not received anything online by researching my email history, which I did, they again told me I was lying. I said I would pay the $65 immediately, but was told that would be an extra charge of $10. I also asked to be sent the bills via snail mail in the future since clearly the email approach was not working and was told that would be a charge of $1.00 per month. Um, no. Long story short. Think this is a premeditated rip off. I will pay the $65 because I did purchase a bra but I will not pay their late fees and fines since they never sent an invoice. If necessary I will deal with this in court. I don't care if it is over only $40. I, for one, am going to fight this bull. I will never shop there again. They have lost a great customer of 20 years.Farcross 6/15/10 10:01AM

Victoria's Secret has the worst phone representative customer service I have ever experienced. Let me start by saying I am a 23 year old customer service rep. for a large financial company- so I have pretty reasonable expectations.
Some problems I have had:
1. I called to see what other sizes a bra that I had ordered on clearance was available in. The fit was completely incorrect- I ordered a 32C, every bra I own from Victoria's Secret is a 32C- this one didn't even cover my nipples. (not even close) The representative would not tell me what other sizes the bra was available in. Literally she refused and kept telling me to go online.
2. I then asked what the accent colors were on a different bra I was thinking about exchanging the other for and she told me they were purple. I was eventually able to pull that bra up online and found out they are navy and pink.
3. The shipment confirmation email you receive gives you a tracking number and a link. The link takes you to UPS' website. I called a different time and the rep told me the tracking number was not a UPS tracking number and treated me like an idiot for going to UPS. I told her I just clicked on the link in my email. She was not able to tell me which carrier the tracking number is for. (Upon doing some online research I found that its for USPS, fyi)
4. My roommate recently called and to ask what the accents on a bikini top were made of, were they beads or rein-stones? The man told her they were pin rein-stones. Got the swimsuit- nope, no rein-stones, they are cheap plastic beads.
5. In the same conversation my roommate asked how the swimsuit top fit, is it true to size, runs a little big, little small? The rep told her it runs big so a Medium should definitely fit her 34Ds. The top came, it is the smallest thing you have ever seen. It fits our other roommate (and still runs a little skimpy) who is a 32B.
6. Same roommate ordered a pair of underwear pictured with an accent bow on them, the came without the bow. She called, they sent her a new pair and she had to pay to return the old ones (you cannot return merchandise to a store) The new ones came, still no bow. Again, she had to pay for shipping the new ones back.
The representatives need to be trained better, have better tones (they are alway rude, they act like you calling them is bothering them), and have better technology that gives them correct information about the merchandise- not looking at the same picture online and making a random guess. I cannot believe a company of their size can be run so poorly.Anonymous 6/1/10 3:57PM -

About two months ago I purchased the push up T shirt bra and loved it. The problem was that the edge (from the day of purchase) kept rolling up; making my T’s not so smooth. After a couple of comments that “You should get a better bra”, I decided to take the bra back (had misplaced receipt at this point)… I went to Arden Mall (Sacramento CA), and to my surprise the were very accommodating and helpful, The problem was they did not have the same bra in the color of original purchase, I looked around and saw several bras that I loved, problem, they did not have my size nor the color I wanted, at the point I shared with the sales associate that I would just go to Down Town VS…Wrong move, the moment I approached the register and shared with Nikki (the sales associate that attended me) the reason for my return. She gave me a hard time. She kept rei the company police about return with no receipts she also wanted to know how I was washing the bar, how I was drying it ect… Even after I had shown her the defected cup on the bra and shared what Arden was willing to do....I finally took the bra back and went back to Arden where they gave me store credit for. I did go back to show Nikki the store credit and to share with her, that there are sales associates with-in the company that care more about keeping the customer rather then humiliating them and losing a loyal VS customer.Mari 4/13/10 10:08AM

I am a VS Credit card holder for over 7 years now. They didn't send me a paper statement at all last month (my balance on the account was $2). I got one for this month with a finance charge(for $1) on it. Upon mentioning that I didn't get the statement, I was told (by the supervisor) that I should contact my postal service.(I get all my statements every month - how come there's was the only one that didn't make it!)She was extremely rude and said she would not take the finance charge of $1 off. I said that I paid all my bills every month in full and therefore should not have any finance charge show up at all. She said - I will not take it off since you owe us a balance of $2 from the previous month. SUPER BAD customer service....extremely disappointing....very rude...refused to give her full name after I said I would like to submit a complaint against their attitude....
I HATE it when people like these make the credibility of the entire company go down this way. Wish there was a way to contact their HR or CEO to let them know how pathetic their service is.

I have been a customer of Victoria's Secret for over 30 years. Within the last year I have paid on-line. Apparantly, they have not received the payments I am not receiving either paper or on-line bills until they have charged a late fee. I complained, they suggested it was on my end, or ask the Post Office. If it was my end, then why did every other bill paid to every other company on-line the same day reach it's destination, including Newport News which uses the same bank. I SUSPECT THEY PURPOSELY DO NOT SEND A BILL TO MAKE MONEY ON THE LATE FEE. My $23.00 bill is not $45.00 due to late fees. I suspect it is a ploy to make money....and why did I finally receive a paper bill, yet none for 2 months when the late fee accrued. This problem has only been with VS.VS Bank late fee RIPEOFF 4/3/10 10:25AM

Victoria Secret Credit Card Customer Service is not acceptable!! Last month I recieved my bill 1 day before it's due date & immediatley called in to Pay the bill. I was then told it would be an additional $10 charge. I didn't want to pay the extra $10 So I went into a store to pay my bill. They too, were unable to complete my payment, for unknown reasons. My efforts to pay my bill the same day I got my bill was unsuccesful because of that the next day I got a $21 late charge. I called VS Card costumer service to explain my situation, They didn't want refund the late charge. They said it was my responsiblity to pay on time,... but failed to see that I went to extra lengths even driving to a store 20 min away to pay my bill. This is the 2nd time this has happened to me, Getting my bill 1 day before due date. The manager was very rude and didn't seem to care. DON'T get a VS Angel Card!!!Anonymous 3/4/10 9:59AM

A big joke with only the people at the top making money.
1. High turn over ( employees get thier hours based on credits opened, not sales of product (??) And to give an example- ask any employee how many hours they get for opening 1 credit card-They will not know-I promise u.
2. If you have a problem with anyone in the company(associate, manager, district manager, or even higher) You have only 2 options, 1 contact the ethics hotline which is a third party that records your statement and passes it to H.R., Which then passes it down the chain of command(You can not contact H.R. directly, just voicemail that they do not return). The second option is to report to the next person up the chain of command that you have a problem with (This does not get recorded)
3. Horrible Loss Prevention. The associates that were hired to sell merchandise, and are given hours based on the amount of credits, are the loss prevention. No one is constantly looking at the camera like real security. Thats it. And yes, there is no difference in pay when 1 store has high theft, and another does not.
This is factual and there is very little logic to these practices.Debra 3/3/10 2:04PM -
They have the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ever! DO NOT GET A CREDIT CARD THERE!!!! I did and regret it! Years ago, I ordered something that was the wrong size and sent it back. They said that they never received it, changed me for the item, and never sent me back the correct size. Thus, I cancelled my credit card and stopped shopping there for a few years. Recently, I decided to give them a second chance. I reopened my account and made a small purchase. I asked them to send me a new card. They never did. I tried to call them to make a payment over the phone but after much time on hold, I finally spoke to a representative and was told that I could not make a phone payment because I did not know my account number. I tried to make a payment on-line through my bank but since my bank did not have the account number, Victoria's Secret did not credit my account right away. They claimed not to have received that payment, so I paid for my purchase a second time plus a processing fee after finally receiving a statement with my account number on it (finance changes had already accrued). I closed out my account, and since they claimed to have no record of my original payment, I cancelled that duplicate bank payment. At this point, I had closed out the account, I had a zero balance on that account, I had already paid more than my original purchase, and was unhappy but I thought it was all over. A recorded phone message from Victoria’s Secret continued to call me repeatedly and charge me a “returned payment” fee for canceling the duplicate payment (plus finance charges that they were assessing monthly on that fee for the canceled duplicate payment). I finally just paid the additional fee just to make them go away but still do not feel that I owe it! PLEASE LEARN FROM MY EXPERIENCE AND NEVER SHOP THERE!Rebecca 2/23/10 5:28PM

I had an online purchase 3 months ago. Since November 2009 they are trying to send my merchandise and still is pending. On my numerous e-mails they are continuously replying that my order has shipped via Brokers World Wide, which is a brokerage company that ships with many different carriers depending upon destination, size, value, and time frame for delivery. BWW forwards the package to your local post office once it arrives to your area. Your local mail carrier will then deliver your package. Please note that BWW does not provide them with a tracking number for your package.
After all these months they came back to me by telling me if I would like a refund or a replacement for the package. I asked refund and the shipping cost was not included in the credit!!!How do they dare to charge me the shipping cost???can I protect myself?agapi 2/18/10 10:39AM -
My bra broke after 1 wear and since I did not have my receipt or tags they directed me to corporate. This is where it all began.... the only resolution they offered was a $45 card they would send me for another bra (the one I bought was $65 by the way). The lady told me they don't even make $65 bras. I said well then that is another problem, I must have been over charged. I am not going to take a credit to buy another crappy product. My other option was to pay to mail it to them and if they deemed it was broken they would credit my card and send me a gift card for the shipping I paid. I don't want a gift card for my $5 shipping... I want it credited to my card. When I asked to speak to somebody else the lady Sandra would not let me. Horrible experience.Emily 2/15/10 2:06PM

A summary of my customer service experience:
1. Received a call from someone that barely spoke English - thought it was a scam.
2. Called to discuss account and was hung up on.
3. Called and asked for a supervisor and was hung up on.
4. Called and asked for a supervisor and no one ever picked up the phone.
5. Called again and ended up paying their $10 fee to just be done with the situation.

My holiday shopping was limited with a seriously broken ankle & cast to the knee. We ventured out Christmas Eve morning as I was feeling a little better. We went to 8 stores in a basic mall with me in a tacky wheelchair & my husband stopped at Victoria's Secret. We bought 2 night shirts & 2 short gowns. The sales people at the crowded Hanover VS were very helpful though not extremely knowledgeable but we appreciated the help.
Guessing sizes with limited selection so I asked about returns. "Just keep your receipt". So Christmas came & I tried everything on. The 2 night shirts just didn't fit. Smaller nightgown was great, the other too big.
My husband was busy on the 26th, So my son took me to VS at an upscale mall (1st store didn't have color/size). What a mistake! We weren't going for long so I lumbered in on crutches. From the moment, I walked in the store, I felt invisible. This store was almost empty but the salespeople were busily chatting to each other & folding items looked orderly. We moved past two of them, I looked over for help but they were just too busy. By the next pair, I just stopped & stood there a couple feet away. I finally interrupted them asking for help finding item/size. She helped find the item I was trying to exchange & when I asked her again to help with finding a size she did under some duress. At one point, she was going to just walk away...
So I thanked her despite the attitude & went over to the cash register. We stood there in the midst of 4 other customers & I guess because there was no one standing behind me, they took one person off the register versus keeping them on to get us through. So 5 minutes later, I'm tired & a young woman starts waiting on us. She couldn't grasp returning two items & exchanging the size on a third. I might as well have been buying the moon. All items fully tagged & full receipt but she would only give me a store credit BECAUSE I didn't have my husband's physical credit card. All I wanted was his account credited. "We can't possibly do that." Both her words & nonverbals communicated that I was the problem, not true. And when I asked if I was supposed to come back on my crutches because they wouldn't do a refund, she almost laughed in my face. So a manager stepped in, explaining that they didn't have the technology to credit me & yes, I would just have to come back "crutches & all". Both were condescending & lacking any customer service. Great job Victoria Secret Hingham Mass & corporate for bad return policies! Don't look for my business...KAT 12/27/09 12:26PM -
I have been requesting an invoice by mail for 5 months now. Evidently someone dropped the ball in filing this request. I returned two items and assumed I had a zero balance. Recently World Financial Bank has been calling every day asking for a collection. I do not have credit card dept. I would have gladly paid my balance in full, however I should not be responsible for late fees if I have no record of a balance. My experience has been so horrible that I canceled my Angel card and plan on NEVER purchasing anything from Victoria's Secret again. the sales woman sized me completely wrong, and couldn't have been more wrong, in fact. it took a macy's sales woman who sized me correctly to realize how little knowledge the victoria's secret sales lady actually had about women and the product she was peddling. now that i know how incorrectly i was sized, i realize that it's a bit like trying to squeeze anna nicole smith into an A cup. they had me measured at a C when i am actually a DD!. thank you macy's lady for saving me from more discomfort and embarrassment and shame on you, victoria's secret.pippi 10/30/09 2:15PM

I actually had a horrible in-store experience with a very snobby younger employee. Upon purchasing some items on the last day of the semi-sale, I inquired as to whether it was an additional 50% off as the sign posted above the rack said. The young woman ringing up my purchase said, they're already on sale, how much more off did YOU need? Implying that I was asking too much. I am not a confrontational person so I just shut my mouth and let her finish charging my purchase. However, inside I was reminding myself never to visit this Victoria's Secret ever again. Little to her knowledge, I am an extreme Victoria's Secret customer who was just looking for a good deal. As for now, I am debating on returning my deceptive purchase.swtchinchilla 1/22/09 12:42PM

I purchased my usual make-up plus a compact with new shades. After using the new colors twice I realized the product was not one for my skin type. It had an ingredient which stayed on the top of my skin and was very unattractive.
I no longer had the box but had a receipt and returned to VS in good faith thinking they would stand behind their products. I only asked that the product be exchanged. Both the young girl behind the register and the manager, a hefty young lady, informed me that the VS policy was that "once a product was used it could not be returned." If the compact had been used to the point of being even obvious I might could understand (though I work customer service and know that customer service is the only difference in most businesses today) but that was not the case. Because of your policy I will not be shopping at VS again. You do not have make-up items that cannot be found elsewhere. The VS empire is large and I know from the attitude of the employees I dealt with they won't miss my support or the support of anyone else I might influence with my experience.Anonymous 11/17/08 4:50AM

I'm honestly surprised at all the negative comments here. Victoria's Secret is my favorite store and I have constantly shopped there since 2007. I have been to almost every VS store in Florida and throughout the past five years I have only had two negative experiences with Victoria's Secret - there was one time I went to the one in Daytona Beach, FL with my Mom and there was an associate who was rude to her, and the other time was when I called customer service a few weeks ago asking what bra was the best for me and the lady just kept asking "are you trying to place an order?" and hung up the phone on me when I said no. That REALLY pissed me off and I wish I got that lady's name because that was a really unprofessional thing to do, especially from someone whose on the corporate side of things. But yeah, ranting aside, the majority of my experiences there have been positive. The associates are usually very friendly and helpful, and VERY lenient when it comes to coupons. I gave them two different free panty coupons recently and they didn't say a word and accepted both of them. I was surprised. There was also another time a few months ago at the VS store in West Palm Beach, FL, where I had a coupon that wasn't supposed to be used until like two days later, but the associate accepted it anyway. Overall, I don't get the VS hate. Their bras are of MUCH higher quality than any other brands (Charlotte Russe's are the WORST - strap broke literally two seconds after I put the bra on). I will continue shopping there as long as their products are of high quality.JessieLou 5/14/12 3:38PM

I'm a new customer and have received two larger shipments about a month apart. Each came in a larger box via UPS. I would think with the great customer service VS has, the company would want to use a more reliable shipping company.... no? I was so excited to find a company to order slacks and tops that actually FIT Me...but I can't keep hassling with UPS....MJ 4/30/12 3:48PM

I shop VS for over 10 years and i have never had a problem that would not end up solved in my favor.
Maybe because I am from Europe, I am happy with "a panty" for free with a bra and do not ask for 2 panties etc.
People are crazy, want more and more and complain about really ridiculous stuff.
VS has amazing customer service, i really feel as "most-loved customer" anytime I contact them.Alena 3/16/12 11:57PM -
I made an order for $2,214 and a few hours later, I found an offer code for a free gift being offered for purchases over $75. I emailed customer service and explained that I had just made an order that would have qualified for the gift, but didn't enter the code. I asked customer if they would send the free gift to me anyway. The customer service lady emailed back "Yes I will add that for you." A few minutes later I received an order confirmation email. They sent me the free gift as a separate order and even paid for the shipping themselves.
Since then they've offered me exclusive discounts that say "Only for our most-loved customers" and I receive Thank You emails for being a customer.
Another time I made an online order and made a mistake. I paid $29 more than I wanted to because I thought an item was free, because I misread the offer. I called them immediately after I made the order and told them I had made a mistake. They corrected it for me by removing the $29 from my total.
A few store employees can be impolite, but what do you expect from young adults with little job experience. It's not the company's fault, and any person with common sense would realize that.FavoriteStore 1/27/12 11:50PM -
I ordered a sweat suit & the pants had a small hole when I received them. When I called customer service to have them exchanged, I was told they no longer had that style in my size (not even a different color). I was very disappointed because I loved the suit & color! I found another set that was a similar style/color, but the price was higher because it was not on sale. I asked if they could wave the difference since there were no suits in my size/price range that I paid for the first suit. They were happy to make the exchange with no additional cost on my part. The woman I spoke with was very polite & professional. She had a great knowledge of this product & I felt like I was in good hands. Overall, I am VERY pleased with the customer service dept, thanks to Karen!Ashley 1/9/12 10:03AM

I have shopped at Victoria Secret's PINK and purchased a sweater for $44.50 and it was an okay deal for PINK. So I went yesterday to purchase some sweat pants and I found these really cute sweats that were around $39.50 and when I went to look for my size the ONLY sizes they had were all SMALLS! I was like come one there has to be other sizes but I couldn't find any. So I was like okay, let me find other ones. Then, I did find other ones and ince again only smalls! So I looked around the store and found other sweats and I found sizes x-small,small,medium,and large so I was like finally but they were high priced so I left the store. The when I went home, I went to their online store and they have sizes up to large and I am thinking "How come they only have bigger sizes online?" but then I found these really cute sweats and a matching shirt and I was thinking of buying it and when I selected my size and went to select the color in violet they didn't have my size! I was very upset because they had my size online but not on the color I wanted! I just wish they sold bigger sizes for women, teens, or kids who are either full-figured,have big curves or just curves in general, or people who are not skinny. That would just be my suggestion for their company. I hope they take all of these suggestions from their customers into mind so more people would like their company, and also to have more reasonable prices. And from all the comments below this comment about bad customer services, I hope they try VERY hard to fufill alot of their customers, so they make their company better but to also make their customers want to shop there and to also making them feel comforable.Anonymous 12/27/11 6:54PM

I shopped in Omaha and had a very good experience. I was greeted promptly and offered assistance. After choosing my items, I went to check out, since they were having a free bag offer with purchase. It was the pink and white striped large duffel bag offer for summer.
Unfortunately, they started giving them away a couple of days earlier than stated on the ad/card, so I was informed they were already gone.
I emailed customer service and they apologized and said they would send me a new bag as soon as they came back into stock. I really didn't expect it would ever show up, but one day, it did. It's a really nice, large bag and I gave it away as a gift.

I have also been a very lyal customer with VS and I have never once had a problem. I mainly shop online and I have never had any problems, the order is always correct and shipped quickly (however I would like the shipping/tracking number to be updated...)Anonymous 12/4/11 12:17AM

I have to say, I am surprised to read these types of comments. I love Victoria Secret's and have always been so satisfied with the service. I am a loyal customer and will continue to do business with Victori's Secrets.Uliano 12/1/11 2:07PM

I just called their customer service to resolve a minor issue. It has got to be a super busy time--the Saturday after Thanksgiving--but my call was answered by a human immediately. She was able to politely and very quickly resolve my issue. The whole thing took 2 minutes. Awesome.Anonymous 11/26/11 10:37AM

I am a Victoria's Secret shopper faithfully. I do not have the models body, but since when do you compare yourself to the mannequin the clothes are shown on. I am happy with my purchases both online, and in the store. I do have an Angels card, and in no way was forced into getting one. I wanted one. Why, because if I shop there, I might as well get the perks. Free panties, and discounts are great for me, also the monies off discounts. I have never had a problem with my bill payments as i do not wait until last second to pay it, and do not charge what i can not pay off. I love this store, and unfortunately, know there will be people who do not, so. Everything is not for everyone.Hardcandy 10/25/11 11:11AM

I have been shopping at VS for years, both in stores (Glenn Mills, PA) and online. I have never had a problem. The sales associates are extremly professional and always willing to help me. As a male, I always feel very comfortable when shopping at VS. I have the Angel Card and LOVE all the discounts and perks it entitles me to. I wasn't "pressured" to get, it just makes perfect sense to have it.Jake 9/7/11 8:08PM

I may be in the minority here, but so far I haven't had any issues with Victoria's Secret, either online or in the store. Ok, well, that's not COMPLETELY true. I hate the fact that their tracking numbers never work and are never updated. I don't know if that's a VS issue or a USPS issue, but it amounts to the same annoyance.
Other than that, customer service is always friendly and helpful both in store and phone. I shop at the Oakwood Mall VS in Eau Claire, WI.
I have accidentally gone over my limit once (purchase went through in store anyway) and I wasn't charged a fee. They actually increased my limit without me asking.
I hope I don't start running into the problems that some others have been having!liongirl29 7/8/11 11:43PM -
I had an issue with the online same day 'chat with a computer and not a real person' feature. The bank account that it put my payment on wasn't correct, and I was worried that I would be charged an overdraft fee. I called the customer service and Katie handled it wonderfully! She took the time to listen to my worries and quickly changed the bank number on the payment. I was off the phone in less than 5 minutes!Anonymous 7/2/10 6:00AM

Tonight I tagged along with my daughter to shop at Victoria's Secret (Toms River, NJ)
While I was there I looked around and found a bra that was what I was looking for, so I tried it on. It was totally the wrong size. I had asked the lady who worked in the bra dept. if they had more like it but in a different size....from that moment on, I felt that an expert was in control! She somehow knew the exact size I should have been trying on and showed me other similar styles that would work for me. After I tried them all on I found the one perfect bra for me, so I bought two! The sales associate's name was Donna, and she made a customer for life in me! I walked out of the store tonight very happy and FINALLY with a bra that fits me perfect!!Anonymous 4/8/10 8:49PM -
I had ordered a dress that was accidently shipped to my billing address rather than my shipping address. I called Victoria's Secret customer service and they were incredibly helpful. They sent me another dress absolutely free of charge and they were so understanding and I was on the phone for less than 5 minutes before they fixed the problem! Easily the best customer service experience I had.Anonymous 11/22/09 6:46PM

After spending over an hour reading the reviews on this site I am honestly infuriated. I have worked for Victoria's Secret for almost a year and half of these stories sound like complete BS. When employees are hired we are taught from the beginning that the CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT! my store manager even sent out emails reminding us that associates CANNOT tell a customer no. At my store we accept expired coupons and I have seen my managers break company policy just to make a customer happy. I have had customers insult me right to my face and I just stand there and smile because I know that I would lose my job if I retaliated. It sounds like a lot of the bad reviews on here are coming from people who just expect the entire world to kiss their butt.
There are a couple of specific issues I saw on here that I would like to address
1. the woman who complained about being outside of the return date and not getting her original money back. our return policy is clearly printed on the back of every single receipt. NO ONE in our store has the ability to override the options that the register offers us. It says 90 days on the receipt and after that the register will not even find the transaction. HOWEVER any items returned after 90 days will be given store credit for the lowest selling price. We have had items returned from as far as FIVE YEARS AGO and the person received money back. We have items returned that are stained or reeking of smoke and we give the customer their money back. If a customer comes in with a bra that broke or ripped we replace it for them no problem. These items have to be damaged out at a loss to the company. Our return policy is one of the most lenient I have ever seen.
2. issues with online orders/credit card company. These companies are separate from the store so I cannot speak for there mistakes. I will say that in my personal experiences with both (as both a customer and an employee) I have had absolutely no issues
3. "talking" about customers over the headsets. We use our headsets to communicate for our own convenience as well as the convenience of the customer. It allows us to quickly check in the back for stock and to inform the girls in the fitting room when a customer is coming back to be measured or assisted. the ONLY time we use our headsets to talk about customers is when we suspect theft we warn the managers and other associates. It is against company policy to use the headsets for purposes besides business
4. rude cashiers/ managers refusing to give names. This one is tricky because obviously in a large company there are going to be some bad apples. I understand that there are some people who have probably had a bad experience with one or two specific people. but as a whole I would say that our associates are friendly, and ones who are not are usually weeded out by the management. Managers must give their full name if asked- as required by the company. ALSO - at the top of every receipt the cashiers ID number is printed- if a customer has a complaint they should give the management this number so that those individuals can be reprimanded.
These are just a few issues that really angered me but I just can't believe this company has such a bad rep. on here. I have had multiple customers compliment on our wonderful service and friendly staff. I am sure each store operates differently but I cannot believe that such a customer oriented organization would allow continuing bad service. Like I said before, sometimes you get crazy customers who expect you to part the red sea for them....sometimes we just can't meet every single request. If those people are unhappy so be it but we always try to respond to them with a polite and professional attitude.kaybee 2/12/12 10:30AM

I work for Victoria Secret and I can honestly say it is a good company to work for but the managers need to be picked better and the managers that are good people need to take charge. I enjoy working at VS but not because of my co-workers but because I make it a fun job and am very sweet to my costumers. I know how it is to go in a place with a bunch of girls working and just feel rediculousy uncomfortable! Me and my bestfriend got hired for Seasonal positions. It's her first job and my 5th. So as you can see I know how jobs work but she's new to the experience. Right away, she asks me why everyone we worked with came off rude or were just snotts. I told her I have no idea but she's right because I've never had this!
I don't think this is everyone because we both work with girls who are genuinly sweet and are good people. But sadly, all 3 managers I have aren't a good example.
They talk behind costumers and mostly co-workers backs, including me and My bestfriends. So it's not because I'm doing something wrong..
If VS coporate reads this I hope you really change this.Anonymous 12/28/11 11:10PM

Honestly, I've worked for the company for a while, and it's a great place to work for and shop at. Any customer must recognize that a business is a business; therefore it has to make money. The reason they give out those coupons with free panties and discounts is to keep customers coming back because that way it encourages the sales, and it also makes customers happy that they saved up some cash on their purchase. The reason they are only allowed to use 2 to 3 coupons to transactions is because if they use all of those, what kinds of profits are WE (the store) going to make? There has to be a limit. Customers always seem to want more, and it clearly says in the back of the coupons on what kinds of items they can use it, and other details. That is company policy and Customers always try to fight with us because they can't use their coupon on a sale item. They need to understand we're just workers and we're trying to make their shopping experience go well. We don't make corporate decisions and we can't change the policies, i'ts not in our power. (Example, when they want to use a coupon on a SALE item) It's already on sale sometimes up to 75%! Yet they're still not satisfied. As for the return policy, 90 days is more than enough, its like 3 months you had the merchandise without wanting it. Instead of them having the merchandise at home, it could have been sold already. We're a company that constantly changes their color story in merchandise and by the time those 3 months are up, that item will normally be a SALE item already; therefore we have to return it for the SALE price because we will no longer be able to make profit from it as a company. It's real simple, but somehow it creates a lot of issues. Victoria's Secret trains its employees to give the best customer service and we're constantly having workshops on how to make customers for life, but during holidays, that's when the company hires a lot of associates because of all the customers the stores will be expecting. These associates aren't fully trained simply because of lack of time and because they're so many. They're taught basic things, so they might seem ignorant to customers, but they are trying their best. It's hard to be a new worker and having all these customers complain about you when you're trying hard, but its because there is so much to learn. As for the wholesale issue, I have personally heard from customers that they re-sell our product, so when they go to the store, they buy massive amounts of product. People aren't aware of this, but especially in other countries and online, our products are sold for as much as 100% more than the original price and that is illegal because those independent sellers are not paying for the Brand (Registered Trademark) they're selling. It seems ironic how we could be upset about that, because we're making money either way, but it's unfair that all those independent sellers are using our name, and making over the double in profits. It's a crime. Lastly, what seems to be the biggest issues, the credit card, and online/catalogue shopping. Anything that goes through the catalogue or online has nothing to do with our independent stores. They do their own thing and we do ours, usually when a customer orders something and they dont have it in stock, instead of sending back nothing, they send the most similar item to what they ordered, so that way the customer wont be empty handed. It seems to satisfy customers most of the time, but then there's those who fuss and get it sent back. Same with the store, when we dont have what the customer is looking for, we offer the most similar item in hopes that they will like it that way they dont leave empty handed and sad, and we get the chance to make a sale. As for the credit card goes, its just like any other credit card. if you dont want to be in debt, simply dont get one. its our job to offer the credit card to every customer and they can simply say no. We must inform them of all the bonus's and rewards but they still have the chance to say no. Nobodys forcing you unless they're pointing a gun to your head. You have the right to say no, and we have to right to respect that. I have the credit card though, and it works out for me because i give the payments on time and i also get coupons for 10 dollars off purchases so it works well. Credit cards are designed to make profit, but you can beat the intent by paying on time. Everybody always looks to blame someone, but people must take responsibility. Im an employee of VS and a customer for life and it honestly is an amazing company. It is a little over priced, but it's very good quality merchandise you wont find anywhere else.

My daughter goes to Baylor, and says Unhappy Shopper is on point. She worked their last Christmas season as seasonal help. She said Susan Lowe was rude to employees and customers a like if they don't fall into a certain profile. My daughter is a hard worker and I know she would not even mention it if it wasn't true.

I always see how people complain about the service they receive at Victoria's Secret but continue to call in and ask for free stuff! Yes I have worked there for years and am tired of hearing how we have such horrible service and we go out of our way to help ungrateful people who are just plain greedy and mean! We are always getting yelled at and told gimmie gimmie gimmie! I don't know any other company who gives out free gifts, gift cards or allows you to use three offers together! We take peoples words that they didn't get their package even though it says it was signed for... we spend hours on the phone trying to find the perfect item and colors for someone we've never seen! Try having my job for two hours and you wont be so quick to judge!

I am an associate at Victoria's Secret and am extremely disappointed to see all of these negative reviews. At our store, we work hard to positively correlate customer satisfaction with team sales goals. I noticed that many of the issues people were having were through online or catalog; these are separate companies than our physical stores so I cannot speak for their mistakes. However, I can say that at our store if a customer had a complaint or question, we would do our best to assist the issue or answer the question. At stores other than Victoria's Secret, associates also paraphrase return policies, making them sound more lenient than they truly are. You can find a return policy statement on the back of any reciept! It's very straight forward and not all that strict. Sometimes people are annoyed but they have to realize this is not Nordstrom! If you have an issue with a particular employee, report it to a manager. If it is a manager, ask to speak to the STORE manager because VS has like 4 different managers but only 1 is head honcho. Please don't write off VS it's a great company to both work and shop for! Also if you don't want to be pressured about the card just say you know about the program and are not interested and we will leave you alone. Happy shopping! Hope your future experiences are better- xo
