Washer delivered July 8 - worked for 3 loads - door locked, wouldn't code open - door latch replaced on 1st service call - same problem - door latch replaced again 2nd service call - same problem - board replaced after a wait for back order delivery and a 4th service call- new board blew up and fried the door latch on 1st load.
We've owned the washer for 2 months and it worked one day for 3 loads. We have spent $300 at the laundry mat. Westinghouse tells us "there's a process."
The local tech and the Westinghouse tech talked during the last service call - the machine is wired properly. Westinghouse decided to try the same thing that didn't work last time - a new board (#3) and a new door latch (#4) has been ordered - on back order, we are told there is no expected delivery date.
WHEN DOES THE WARRANTY DO US ANY GOOD?
This is the worst consumer experience we have ever had. Owned an LG last go 'round - decided to buy American. I guess we made a mistake.
I have zero confidence in what didn't work last time working this time and don't think it's fair to wait weeks or months until the next board arrives..
PLEAE HELP US
PLEASE DO THE RIGHT THING FOR A CUSTOMER
