Washer delivered July 8 - worked for 3 loads - door locked, wouldn't code open - door latch replaced on 1st service call - same problem - door latch replaced again 2nd service call - same problem - board replaced after a wait for back order delivery and a 4th service call- new board blew up and fried the door latch on 1st load.
We've owned the washer for 2 months and it worked one day for 3 loads. We have spent $300 at the laundry mat. Westinghouse tells us "there's a process."
The local tech and the Westinghouse tech talked during the last service call - the machine is wired properly. Westinghouse decided to try the same thing that didn't work last time - a new board (#3) and a new door latch (#4) has been ordered - on back order, we are told there is no expected delivery date.
WHEN DOES THE WARRANTY DO US ANY GOOD?
This is the worst consumer experience we have ever had. Owned an LG last go 'round - decided to buy American. I guess we made a mistake.
I have zero confidence in what didn't work last time working this time and don't think it's fair to wait weeks or months until the next board arrives..
PLEAE HELP US
PLEASE DO THE RIGHT THING FOR A CUSTOMER
WE'VE HAD ENOUGH of a product that has never worked and going to the laundry mat.

and no one knows anything nor can they refer we to someone
who could help me.

i am simply looking for an AC or DC adapter for an igen300s portable generator.
no luck. lots of rude people from southeast asia. never again

This company is a joke. I paid almost 1000.00 for a hot water heater and it started leaking less than 2 years later. Yes it was under warranty but it took almost a eeek to get anyone to answer my call to file a claim. And I had to stay on hold for almost two hours before speaking to anyone. Their excuse was we have a lot of claims at the moment. Well that makes them bad I'm my book and it's been three weeks and I still don't have a hot water heater. They sent me a non working "tracking number also. It was to be delivered 3 days ago still not here and no way to call and see where it is. I've been without hot water for over 3 weeks now and I'm fed up. I will never purchase anything from this company again and I will let everyone I know not to purchase firm them as well. Worse company ever.

i have a Westinghouse dishwasher with a 5 year extended warranty and have issues with the draining of the machine. i called electrolux and the earliest they can send a technician is in 22 days

I bought a Maytag dryer in October 2021 it is less than 9 months old. I have had the tech to my house repeatedly because the dryer is over heating. This has happened in two different houses. They keep sayin that the vent from the house is clogged which is false. The first house, was 12 years old and I never had any problems until I bought this dryer. We have the kit to keep the vents clean. The house I am in now is new and I am still hearing that the vent is clogged. I will have to replace this dryer that is less than a year old as there is no one that can fix it and it is always someone else's fault. Never buy from them again!

They have the absolute WORST customer service EVER!!!! DO NOT EVER PURCHASE ANY OF THEIR PRODUCTS!! When you ask for a supervisor they they try to talk you out of it. I asked REPEATEDLY for a supervisor until I freaked out on the guy and he hung up on me. Then when I called back the lady I talked to pretended like she couldn't hear me saying the phone was breaking up so she didn't have to transfer to a supervisor. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!! I would buy a tooth pick from these people!!!

My mother bought a fridge it lasted 2 years. She bought a new one. Delivery by Westinghouse. On delivery they broke security door and damaged timber door.and 2 fridge doors. That was Dec 2020. She passed away suddenly in September 21 she had numerous problems getting emails and calls to cust services. Brisbane guy Chris was to fix but he just passes on to the delivery guys why do not care.so after my mother tried and complained weekly about lack of help and services. And she passed away and still after 15 months we must say after promises by cust services and Chris in Brisbane cust service no compensation for the broken doors. So the ceo should walk in and shake up the office and sack those involved. And find good cust service providers

Hello , my mother bought me a Westinghouse Electric blanket for a Christmas present, I was thrilled since it's been so cold but it stopped working within 10 days of receiving the blanket. She ordered it from 7th Ave and they said they will send me out a replacement blanket in March . That is along time to wait , winter will be almost over . Is there anything Westinghouse company can do ... thank you Tina Carter

I bought this fridge and the tap dispenser worked intermittently for months before it finally stopped working altogether. I organised a repair through customer service and after twice the repairer getting the wrong part and being unable to fix it in addition to the several months between each order (part came from China plus covid), I was given a store credit by customer service to buy another fridge. I found the fridge cold and liked the handles. Westinghouse asked for a product review and I put the above comments, it was initially accepted but later rejected as it wasn't flattering but honest. I think reviews are important that whether bad or good, when people want to buy something, they can make an informed decision. Westinghouse shouldn't remove ratings just because they aren't flattering

My approximately 6 month old fridge freezer developed two cracks in the freezer handle. Retailer contacted the supplier who said it was due to either the cleaning agent or I was heavy-handed. Both rubbish. Apparently I can buy a new freezer door and pay for the door to be fitted. Why would anyone do that?

I bought a Westinghouse stove about 2 years ago and the handle keeps falling off. About 5 times now including having to weld it it's only about 2 years old. And my neighbour bought 2 TVs Westinghouse and they just stopped working just after the warranty was up. Tv just kept shutting off. I am not a happy customer and will never buy Westinghouse products again as they don't work for very long

The name Westinghouse is sullied by the total lack of professionalism exhibited by the customer service policies/personnel employed by the existing managing entity. I purchased an emergency generator that was received without operating manuals and have had to jump through multiple hoops and still have not received a satisfactory response, just a request for more information......DISGUSTED!

I purchased factory second 370L fridge 2/1/2019. 12 mths warranty. It has never been used. Upon receipt late 2019 it was picked up and transported to Shoalhaven region from Sydney. Purchased Smeg Dishwasher, Blanco cooktoo/oven, Abbey sink etc at same time for renovation. Renovation delayed to Start September 2020. Fridge in kitchen for less than 2 weeks. When you are tempted to be sucked in by the Westinghouse FREE generator cover if you leave a positive review online.... FORGET ABOUT IT! They scam you into putting a positive review before you have barely used the machine then they never send you the cover! I have emailed, texted and called to get absolutely no response from them. When I called all I got was an answering service of someone that you knew didn't even work or have anything to do with the company. I would like everybody to start turning them in the feds for this fraud. It is just a cover, but if you add up how many reviews they are getting from the promise then how many purchases they get because their fabulous false freebie related reviews it's a huge scam in my eyes. Many are spending hundreds on thinking they're getting a great machine.

Incompetent fools that think they no it all but couldn't even arrange to amalgamate a few parts for the one service call after several attempts over 5 weeks.
These call centre jockeys are paid employees who just don't give a crap and as typical when you vent your frustrations at this incompetents they come back with the 21st century usual response. 'if you speak to me like that i will hang up" If you did your job you wouldn't get spoke to like and idiot.

Absolute nightmare dealing with this company. Bought pressure washer in June. August, it quit working. Less than 5 hrs on it. Submitted warranty service request. This was in beginning of September. Nov. 4th I finally get warranty service approval. Mind you in the 2 months, I called approx 8 times with NO callback from anyone. I have never experienced such a poor customer service in my life! The service center they provided me with has never heard of this company nor the process. I call back again to get more info of other options. The only information I am relayed is they will have someone call me back. What a joke. No one ever does. What's the point of answer customer calls if they cannot help with anything?! At this point, I want a refund but that may take 6 months. I have submitted a BBB complaint as well. Horrible way to run a business!

I brought a Westinghouse Electric water heater last May 2019, it caught on fire October 1, 2020 I contacted Westinghouse customer service they had me take pictures and email the pictures, after doing this they said that they can start a claim which they want it receipt more pictures and the plumber that put the water heater in. I just got this water heater today and I have been without hot water since 1 October. Customer service is terrible. I think that they should have gave me a store credit since I bought it at Home Depot to purchase a hot water heater there instead they sent it on a freight truck that took almost 2 weeks to get here. I will never buy a hot water heater or anything else from Westinghouse terrible customer service.

Here is my experience as brief as I can make it. Bought a 58" Roku ready tv via Best Buy on line. Hired an electrician to mount it 8' off the ground. (I am a 67y/o with a broken back) After mounting it we discovered the remote was not in the box. Electrician suggested I contact Best Best Buy. Reasonable. Best Buy suggested I contact westinghouse. Reasonable. Customer service first question was model number and serial number. Did I mention that the tv is now 8' off the ground? All I want is a remote. After 4 attempts ( the c/s rep rep suggested I have a friend come by and take my tv down to get the numbers. Hey, it's just a remote. I'll buy one. I can't watch my tv and no one is helping.

I hope I get points for the lack of profanity.

I purchased the Westinghouse 60cm Ceramic Cook top on 21 Mar 2019. One element was repaired on 29 July 2019 under Warranty. Now the same element stopped working again. As a customer who trusted the Westinghouse products and services, I am disappointed with our experience with Westinghouse. The appliance becomes faulty just a few months after purchase and service.

Today, I sent a request email for repair via [email protected]. I made a followup call on 1300 363 640 after email. Initially, the service lady told me that I had to send my request to a different email address and she could neither book a repair appointment nor forward my request to another email address, because the repair is for a rental property. I purchased this Westinghouse appliance. I manage my own rental property. Why doesn't the Customer Care Team directly accept a repair request for a rental property?

After I explained with my last repair experience for the same issue of the same property. This lady eventually booked an repair appointment for me.

Five days ago, I purchased a 42" Westinghouse TV (model WE42UX3200). The sound quality is horrible but that's a whole other discussion.

The packaging was missing the six screws to attach the base to the TV. I tore the packaging apart looking for them and there's no way I missed them had they been there. They simply were not there.

I went to Westinghouse's website and submitted a request to their CS Dept for the screws. Twenty-four hours later, I received a reply requesting a picture of the sticker on the back of the TV (that details the TV's specs), and a picture of my receipt.

Really, guys? For six screws? I played along anyway and sent the pictures they requested. A day later, I received a reply informing me that based on my receipt, it appears that my TV is on layaway and that I should submit my request for the screws to the retailer.

Why would I be requesting screws for a TV I don't have in my possession? Layaway? The store I bought it from DOESN'T EVEN OFFER LAYAWAY.

Why am I being treated as a criminal when my biggest crime is buying this POS TV to begin with?

I replied by telling them to close my case because I'm returning the TV for a refund. Surprisingly, I received a reply to my reply, saying they were "sorry" and "only following warranty procedure." WHAT warranty procedure? My TV came factory-sealed and incomplete! That's not a warranty issue; that's a incompetent production issue!

I predict this company will be bankrupt or bought out in the next several years. The funniest part is that they'll be wondering where they went wrong.

Anyway, welcome to my boycott list, Westinghouse. Have a seat over there next to Samsung. Jerks.
