Very poor customer service - phone received is defective and after talking to at least five different folks there NO HELP whatsoever!

I placed an order as a Verizon upgrade customer. responded to their order confirmation and was told that I haf to submit a copy of my social security card and front and back of my drivers' license. I told agent i have been a customer for 10+ years and Verizon already has all of my info. Agent indicated that it was a Verizon policy. I requested a verification # for Verizon. the agent gave me the regular Verizon order #. I verified with a Verizon supervisor that Verizon would never request this kind of information by telephone or fax. The super then signed on to Wirefly as a brand new customer and completed a fake sale, received the confirmation, but was not requested to provide any additional information. I promptly sent a complaint to Wirefly regarding their procedure, only to be told that someone would contact me in 24-48hrs. I cancelled my order. What's going on there?

Horrible company, a complete scam. Returned my phone and they tell me the phone was not in the box. What? I had fed ex deliver it directly.
Now they can't help, won't take my calls, no one to talk to. Now locked into a two year plan without a phone. Worst customer service I've ever experienced. I am gonna take a $700 loss just to get these crooks out of my life.

BAD, BAD, BAD stuff going on here. Beware!

phone arrived a day later than promised and did not include a sim card....there is no customer support on weekends and nobody to get in touch with anywhere...this transaction went through verizon so we thought everything would be fine...now not so sure...why would verizon sanction this...we even spoke with a verizon rep before completing the transaction with wirefly.

Rip off artist. Do not use them. They say you have a six month contract.with them and will be charged 300 bucks from them and 350 from verizon. The real problem you can do things that dont matter to verizon but wirefly still will charge you three hundred dollars for a phone you can get fr fifty . I activated.a phone i bought fom wirefly with verizon. On the number i upgraded. Then switched numberverizon says this is no problem no charge. We do it all the time as.long as the lines all stay active. Cool. Not cool with wirefly though. 300 hundred bucks. Talked to verizon several times.say they never heard of.such bull. They say send it back and buy a phone from us for fifty bucks and you cand do what ever you want. I am keeping it and have blocked my card because i never agreed to no such nonsense with wirefly.

I was supposed to get a $30 credit on my bill as a part of the new ATT phone. But is been 4 months I did not see it. hence called the above number.I could connect with them at this number with no difficulty during the regular office hours.The guy escalated the issue and said would be resolved in 14 days.

I have been getting my phones from my carrier for 11 years..what a nightmare this co.is. they said it would be here in 3 days, ittook 6..When it got here there was n wall charger, and they have NO no live person to talk to unless your buying a phone..I called my carrier, sprint, and they were so nice..as always, I told them Iwas told that wirefly now did ALL of the ordering phones for sprint,,Well I bought it hook line and sinker..I talked to my carrier today but they couldn't send me the missing things..In other words, my phone isn't covered by sprint because I didn't buy it from them, and I understand that.I am now wondering if these phones are new, or rebuilt???I was told if I had any more problems to call them, and they will look into it. My phone is getting shipped back to this nightmare co. tomorrow. They should be put out of business........furious in Hawaii...

BEWARE!!! I purchased a new phone from Wirefly however it did not work properly. Returned it for a replacement....phone was backordered for over two weeks. Finally received new phone BUT found out it was defective when I was able to get to an ATT store 31 days after I received phone.

ATT contacted Wirefly and told ATT they would honor the warranty since it was only one day. I had to contact them when I returned home to schedule exchange. I was speaking to a foreigner that could not speak English but continued to say Yes Ms. Smith I understand and apologize blah blah blah...over and over. I gave her the account information, new line number and the cell phone I was calling about. When I received the replacement Wirefly sends me a completely different type phone. They had threatened to charge me $250 if I did not return the defective phone so I called to make sure I was not going to be charged extra since they sent me a different replacement phone.

When I called about receiving the wrong phone although I was pleased with the replacement since both phones of the particular style were defective, they told me the warranty was out on my phone. They made a mistake by sending me this new style and threatened me to send back the phone I just received. They told me my warranty expired while the phone was on backorder.

So, I received a phone that didn't work, requested a replacement- phone was on backorder because of Wirefly and while I was not able to use a phone, my warranty expired. Therefore, when I finally received the replacement and it was DEFECTIVE per ATT, Wirefly refused to do anything about it!

BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE!!!!!! This has been a nightmare trying to get Wirefly to honor their service.

I for one will never use wirefly again. My family started at&t service, thought we were getting a great deal we got all three of our phones for free.
Come to find out the phones were horrible. This is when the frustration begins. We are still in the process of waiting for our other phones. at first they wanted us to send our new phones back to them to get our replacement phones. they said that it would take up to 2 weeks to get our new phones. they informed me that the only way they could send our new phones out before we sent the old phones we would have to pay a deposit of $250.00 for each phone which we had 3. I fought with the company to send only one of our new phones so that our family wouldn't be without a phone. Finally they agreed the promptly sent out the first phone. I was told from the supervisor that after they received all 3 crap phones they would send the other 2, he also said that it would be within 24 hours for them to send our other 2 new phones. once we got the first new phone we sent out the other 3 phones 2 day air fed ex, at our expense because they covered only standard shipping for us to send them back, which would have taken a whole week so you see the concern so we paid $40.00 for them to receive their precious phones, that they made it seem as if we were gonna keep if they sent our new phones first. they received the phones at approximately 9:00 am Thursday morning, now the time begins I was so frustrated that I had little to know patience with this company and I believed that since I was speedy with their process they should be as well. I was wrong, 24 hours went by.... they said they will not send out Saturday or Sunday so it would be Monday,48 hours went by so now I am on the third day of wait. OK now it wouldn't have been so bad if I didn't find out they had finished processing our return on Thursday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have continuously called and never got straight answers, I am paying a load of money to at&t for 3 lines when I only have one working. Every time I call I cant understand a word the CR's say. I am fed up. If only you knew what our phones were doing to cause this return stuff, the problems with the phones were suppose to be checked before sent. Well I guess they over looked that the phones were literally shocking us. I have never experienced this in my life, and I am done with this company heed my warning regardless if the phones are free or cheap or whatever you are better off going straight thru the company to order your phones, but NEVER EVVVVEEEEERRRRRRR go thru wirefly NEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I also faced a terrible disappointment. They lure you in with free Samsung Captivates, then say my monthly minute plan i selected is NOT COMPATABLE with that phone, I must get the highest minute plan!! And they blame it on AT&T saying its their policy- when in fact AT&T disagrees.

AVOID THE HORRIBLE BOMBAY CRAP!!

I heard all the bad feedback after I placed an on line order with them & then found out the phone I was ording was allready out of date, then as the fed-x truck came I refused the shipment of the phone & currently fighing to get them to cancel the order, I can't get ahold of a live person to help me do this they have my bank account info !
I will never fall for these type adds agin !

The customer service for wirefly is HORRIBLE&AWFUL!!! I feel I was dealing with roberts!! They simply don't listen to you and tell you later that they can't help. Ridiculous!!!

Price is their attraction to lure you in then when ya open the box and see they hold a 300 charge over your head for 180 days and it seems they will zap your at anytime they feel like it. Call customer service you get people you can hardly understand and are never told same thing twice. Stay away!!!

You're not the only one! It took me an hour 1/2 to get my order processed. After which none of my credit cards would process (because of their system)I just found out I was charged for the accessories that were supposed to be FREE! The screen protector was too small for my phone and the car charger was defective. I call to get them exchanged and they want my CC# again to add another charge. I'm done with this company and will never do business with them again! And yes, talking to India is and was the worst! If you get redirected from the AT&T site to this one, RUN!!!!

Ordered on a Wednesday. It was on my doorstep Friday morning, so no problem with shipping. The problem came when I tried to activate. Followed the instructions, step by step, and got everything set up. Then called a friend, who answered asking who I was. Turns out, the phone was already activated on someone else's account and not mine. Very shady, indeed. Tech support was little to no help. Their suggestion: turn the new phone off for the next 48 hours (noting that they would not be working on Sunday, so those 48 hours include all day Monday) and, at some point, my new phone will start working and the old one will stop working. As they cannot make any outgoing calls from their tech support center in Bombay, there is no way for them to let me know when the problem has been resolved. I have my doubts that it actually will be. But there's something wrong with a company that sells you a phone that's connected to someone else's account.

I had a terrible experience with wirefly. I have a verizon connection and used it for 180 days and terminated. I know I have to pay $300 for each line for verizon, but wirefly came into the picture, they asked me to pay $300 for each line apart from paying $300 each line to verizon. so when I asked why do I need to pay to wirefly they said I breached the agreement that I have to stay with verizon for atleast 181 days otherwire I have to pay them $300 for each device. Please careful while ordering through wirefly. I have these people. within 2 weeks they send to collections, not even sending any formal letter. Wirefly is a big scam.

I had the worst experience with wirefly.com

They messed up the order and also created 2 a/c with ATT instead of one and the result - ATT send me 2 bills . They asked me to call wirefly but no solution from them. The useless customer service ( outsourcing !!) will not help. I have spent hours on the phone with them and calls after call for no use. they are useless.

DO NOT BE CHEATED. They are cheating.

I purchased t mobile service and phone thru wirefly. Had to cancel. Phone stopped working after two weeks. Now t mobile hit me with a $200 cancellation fee AND Wirefly hit me with an additional $200 equipement fee. DO NOT PURCHASE thru WIREFLY. T Mobile will not help either...called several times. They act as if they do not even know wirefly terms. $400 for a phone I had two weeks. I am writing the public utlities commission.

I have ordered the phone from them. Two months later I found that some extra services added to my account. Called T-Mobile and they said someone went into a physical store showing a driver license and request to add the service. Of course this wasn't me. So you get the idea they are this scary. Now I cancelled the service and put the block on text messages. I will see if they come back to charge me the price of the phones for cancelling the service they added that I didn't agreed.

I bought a mobile phone from Wirefly.com in Jan with the promotion "waived activation fee". After three bills (Apr, 2010), they didn't credit the activation fee into my AT&T account. I called according to the promotion instruction. The custom service guaranteed that I would receive the credit in 14 days. I didn't receive it. After a month (May, 2010), I called again and this time, the custom service told me she already saw it on my May bill, I would certainly receive it in the next bill. I waited another month. Now I received my May bill (from 5.3-6.2), it didn't show up. I am so disappointed. Every time I called, they asked me to wait and guaranteed the credit would show up in the next bill, which was not true! I will never order a phone from wirefly.comm again.

I renewed my contract through Wirefly based on a friend's recommendation. Now we are both sorry! I ordered on Feb 6th 2010 and had nothing but problems with shipping, on-line chat operators who gave me the run-around on the 9th.On Feb. 13th tracking showed that my phone had yet move from the warehouse so I confirmed with Fed Ex before getting the run around again. I demanded to talk with a manager and was told they would call me in 12 hours.Never happened. The phone did suddenly ship out that day however and finally delivered on the 18th...12 days later. The activation information wasn't in the packing and I had to go an hour with on-line chat to get that on....then demanded some sort of compensation and was offered a case for my problems which they would never admit to. Today is the 24th and a manager called me about the request on the 13th with the same run-around and informed me that they are reneging on the free case. Called me up to tell me they won't send me anything for my troubles. They use people from India and won't accept any responsibility for any mistakes lies told etc. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! They give you over to "Whereismyorder.com" aka India and you will get abused and they don't care one iota about customer satisfaction! In fact the link to contact the service manager on the site is bogus and doesn't work. I went this route due to my friend and it seemed convenient to do from home....big mistake.
