Paid £150 for a repair online. Emails and text confirming date and time. Called them the day before to confirm and they confirmed the appointment. On the day no one arrives, even though we will waited in all day. Now there is no response to a refund - do not trust or use this service (https://www.zanussi.co.uk/support/repairs)

I registered the new fridge/freezer 7 June 2020 on Zanussi website. From the start, I had difficulty ensuring that the temperatures of the fridge and freezer were correct. It seemed that when the temperature of the fridge was +4 degrees (recommended) the freezer was - 22 degrees and when the freezer -18 degrees (recommended) the fridge was +8 degrees. I consulted the instruction manual, sought advice from the website but no success. I contacted Wickes, the installer, who I understood passed the concern to Zanussi from whom I later received an email, dated 10 October 2020 asking for feedback with a clear statement that 'we look at all feedback'.
I did not receive a reply so emailed the Customer Service Dept giving the history with the model number and serial number as the subject line. I received an automated response. Since that time, I have sent enumerable emails (all as threads) and received: (i) no response for which I resend the email, (ii) request for the model/serial number (!!), (iii) a statement that they have no information about the problem (thread of emails), (iv) emails received from The Team and several named people requesting the same information. None of the many emails have provided any method to rectify the fault. On 5 June 2021 I received an automated email asking about my experience so far! As no progress was being made and the 12-month guarantee was ending soon, I contacted Trading Standards and CAB who suggested I use Resolver. This I did but no response from Zanussi. My last personal email to Customer Service is dated 9 November 2021 - no reply to date. Having exhausted the contact with Customer Service, I hesitated to take the matter to the Ombudsman in preference to contacting the CEO at '[email protected]'first. I emailed not once but twice and no response, not even an automated response. If the senior person ignores contact, it is hardly surprising that other staff follow suit. I hope this matter will be resolved.
In brief:
1. The appliance was fitted in June 2020.
2. The problem was encountered from the time it was installed.
3. Zanussi were made aware of this within the 12-month guarantee period.
4. No attempt has been made to rectify the fault (I have suggested that a technician call to investigate).
In my opinion, the fault means that either energy/electricity is wasted because the freezer is too cold or the fridge is a potential health hazard because the temperature is above the recommended +4 degrees. As we know, under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 and subsequent Consumer Rights Act 2015 goods sold should be 'fit for purpose' and 'of satisfactory quality'. The problem remains and so far no response has been made.

WORST OF THE WORST
Microwave bought and since day 1 intermittent working only. Engineer comes and according to them, no manufacturer fault. Tried to call Zanussi, they don't take ownership and just passed me around to the repairs department (external company), talk to 5 different people, they said I needed a code from Zanussi for a replacement (I didn't realise they had transferred me to a third party) and the last person just hang up on me. Called again and I am on hold for 30 mins

Built In fridge freezer less than 8 months old stopped working overnight.

Unable to get through to anyone with sense. 3 hours later still no further forward.

Call centre staff rude, unhelpful and disinterested

Never buy from these cowboys

Hello
I have tried to ring, so I am now emailing you. I bought a dishwasher ZDF21001WA, does not get hot. Could you please rectify this matter, or put me in touch with someone who will.
Kindest Regards

Impossible to talk to a Customer Service team member if you have a problem. The website customer care number feeds straight out to service 'partners' and it's not possible to circumvent the process. My (in warranty) Zanussi integrated dishwasher stopped working three months' ago - I've had five engineer visits; two new circulation pumps and a pressure valve have been fitted and it still doesn't work. Each engineer's visit is an 'all day' slot - prepare for one in two visits to be an assessment of the parts required to 'fix' the machine and then a three week lapsed time interval before the next visit. The authorised service partner cannot resolve the problem and has no authority to do anything other than continue to send out engineers who fail to fix the problem. Massively inconvenient, appalling customer service, dreadful build quality and a dishwasher that is apparently not fit for purpose. Before realising it was covered by warranty, I asked an independent white goods repair agency to inspect it - they advised me to buy a new machine because of the repair costs. They subsequently wished me 'luck' in sorting it through the warranty process. How right they were.

I have a new Zanussi built in oven bought a couple of months ago. Needed to book an engineer to see to a fault. Rang four times, even asked Euronics to ring on my behalf, but have received no appointment. Their excuses were that their systems were down, or another time, there was no one there to help me. All times I was assured that I would get a call back directly. Nothing. I sent a complaint email to their customer services, but have heard nothing. I have now waited 8 days and still counting, just to book an engineer's appointment - but this has proven to be a nightmare. Out of 10 I would give a 2, that's just for them answering the phone - because they have done nothing else. be warned.
