Purchased a sectional living room set 1 year ago. The arm broke on the sofa and a piece of wood fell out of the other sofa. We paid for lifetime warranty. Now here's the fun part. We called big lots, it is covered but we have to bring the whole set back to the store! We do not own a truck and we are not renting a truck . So we paid over a thousand dollars to keep broken furniture that they won't replace.

Tried buying two twin mattress at big lots in smryna TN waited 2 hours never received mattress.. watched 3 paying customers leave waiting to receive thousands of dollars worth of merchandise... Worst place to shop... Idk how Big lots makes any money with such poor quality employees... If I owend that Big lots I would fire everybody and start over... I will not be shopping at Big lots ever again went to matress firm and payed extra and satisfied...

Ok. What u guys doing to me . My acc is overdraft for almos a month , can't make grocery shopping or paid my Bills. 880 dollar that supposed be back in my acc is on red. I want some compensation for all my problems. I like to talk to a manager or higher. I wouldn't never in my life buying again at big lots.

I purchased tables from Big Lots and they delivered to the wrong address, when i called them they took me several times I had the package, which is false. Later, on sale rep stated the tables were delivered to a different address which wasn't mine and they would resend the tables. I asked could I pick them up in store amd they said no. I decided to buy tables elsewhere. Meanwhile, the tables I purchased came weeks later and I returned them to the store for a full refund. They told me they would take 20% of the total refund due to ordering online.... are u serious? So, this is how you all work without telling people this??? I will never order online from these people again

Jack Pestello, chief merchandising officer. Is an awful human being to customer service associates, while I was at an unnamed store I overheard this weak/privileged individual yelling and putting down a customer service worker over a policy that they have no control of. Its a terrible reflection on the company, especially since he is flexing around his name and how much he makes.

We purchased a mattress less than two months ago and it was a sealy. We have had nothing but problems with this mattress. Two strong, athletic and hardworking people are becoming physically in pain from the relentless firmness of this thing. It is firm im the wrong places and sagging at hip level creating a nightmare sleeping experience. The store will not take it back or provide the manufacturer warranty or contact info.

I purchased 2 pair of curtains today and was charged for 4 pairs. I told the clerk who was struggling to figure out how to fix the problem. The manager than came over and credited me for the extra 2 pair. I left the store and went to my car and reviewed my 2 receipts just to make sure it was correct. I checked my bags and realized she had not given me the bag with my curtains. I went back in and politely told the cashiers that I did not get my curtains. They said maybe the person who checked out after me took my bag. I stood there for a minute and than said can you please take my phone number in case you find the curtains, which they did. Bottom line I feel they should have offered to give me 2 new sets of curtains since I did pay for them. I am not one to complain but I feel I have been wronged and I love Big Lots but I want to have this wrong made right. I went to the big lots in wilson nc. I had a very rude cashier named wanda wilson. I want go back as long as she is there. I had a couple of bad times with her.

Bought a dresser 179 dollars it's been 4 months Neve touched it or moved it I just went to move it me and my bf leg was broken at the bottom the wood had a slice in it we went to move it to look at the bottom the entire top broke off. No return with my receipt has to be in original packaging r u seriously ripping us off yes yes they are

We just had a sofa and loveseat delivered. It is broken. I will try to return it but the comments on this worry me. We used the delivery service they suggested. Paid $120 plus $40 tip on top of the almost $1600 for the set. One side of the rocking recliner loveseat wobbles and doesn't close. The recliner on the couch doesn't open. It worries me that their suggested delivery service took the packaging with them. I do have the receipts and may have to have my bank cancel the charge but will give Big Lots the opportunity to fix this first.

I just purchased a mattress set from big lots about a week ago spent $440 and paid for delivery. Only to get it home and discover that the mattress is unusually short. I am 5'5 and my feet hangover the end of the mattress. I am so disappointed. I knew I should have followed my mind and purchased a mattress online. Total waste of money ?!

Went to store (1756) south dalemabry, Tampa tofay. The girl asked if I would like to make a two dollar donation and I declined. She said press red or green button and I asked which button declines the offer? Before I could finish my question she said red or green button. I went to ask again and she cut me off again and repeated red or green button. On my third attempt to ask which button do I press to decline and she cut me off for the third time. This time I cut her off and said if you don't tell me what button will decline the offer I can't press a button. She finally said the red button. I pressed the red button while she mocked me. I thought how rude and let it slide. Got home and checked my receipt and she tripple charged me for Dawn detergent. Drove back this afternoon got my refund and will never shop there again. Her name is Tracy and the store number is 1756.

why did they not emphasis they are not taking returns right now!!I bought a chair online but I changed my mind when the package arrived. I would not have dragged the heavy box onto my car, drive all the way to big lots, then lifted that heavy box in a cart and pushed it all the way into the store just to be told they are not taking returns right now!! Are you kidding me?! Put signs up at your store! Put in on your website!

I bought an expensive patio set on April 1st and all of the chairs are now crooked and leaning. Do they have a weight limit of 100 pounds? I'm 125 and they are horrible. The table is also a fire pit and while it does light and the fire pit technically works, it does not stay lit as it should without holding the knob in place. As soon as you let go of the knob, the fire goes out. $1200 spent on the table and chairs set and all of it is awful. And they aren't taking any returns right now. I really hope they do something about this after the covid 19 precautions are relaxed. I've spent a lot of money in there recently and I have all of my receipts.

I'm hoping that returns will be allowed in full after the COVID response is back to normal, even if it's after 30 days. I bought a pool yesterday and filled it up. Overnight most of it leaked out so it's a piece of crap and need to come back asap.

I just went into Big Lots in Meridian Idaho (4-16-2020), none of the employees were wearing mask, or patrons! As per Idaho protocol!
There were no wipes or hand/cart sanitizer available. After seeing and hearing an employee coughing I left!!!
Won't be back and will spread the word.

Big Lots Customer Service is Joke. Especially #552 . Right before Christmas of 2019 I was shopping at #552 all of a sudden the Manager accused me of shoplifting. So,she showed her ignorance and called the police. I produced receipts for every item in my possession! So ,still looking like the village idiot, the manager still trying to take my goods & verbally calling me a thief.Insisted I be trespassed for no reason. Saying I was a known shoplifter at that location. Despite never seeing me before this moment. I was working 60 + hours a week & hadn't visited Big Lots in months. Google maps tracks my trips and has for over 3 years ! I tried talking to someone in the Corporate Office but just got referred back to "customer non-service. I now have a copy of my police report & so the battle begins. Get Ready For WAR!! NO QUARTER. MALCOM MAY @ [email protected] 321-442-7272

You have an employee at Somerset big lots that needs training in the corona virus. I understand to well about CDC guidelines. She was very rude, screaming and yelling. Not only did she stand and look me for 20 minutes before she ever thought of doing her job. When she decided to was when she was very rude. You will loose business because of her. She thinks she knows all when she knows nothing about guidelines nor the CDC.

I just bought a sectional sofa about 3 weeks ago and already the cushions are falling apart...and this with only normal sitting. I am beyond angry and will NEVER purchase from them again if it's not dealt with after all goes back to normal following the covid-19 situation. Will NOT be my fault if it's over 30 days!!!

Found out the game big lots has a 6ft range from the cashier that does not wear rubber gloves make sure you let them know that's not sanitary
