I purchased a Black&Decker portable AC 14,000 btu. Problems with leaking 1 year later almost to the day. They refuse to help because the call was made 1 month past warranty period. The person in the warranty department was extremely beligerent and said I can't help you because you are calling out of the warranty period. I asked if there was a troubleshooting dept and he said no one can help. I paid $450 for this unit and Black and Decker does not stand behind their products. I am very disappointed in their service or should I say lack of and their treatment toward customers. If they have a good product they should have a good customer service or trouble shooting dept. My review is expect if you purchase something from them it will only last 1 year because that is the time period they will help...beyond that there is no help.

I bought a pork duct if yours on Amazon and after 4 months it stopped working. I called the customer service number and was rudely spoken to by Andrey I tried to call back and my calm was transferred to him. I had to call back on another day to speak with someone else because of how I was treated by this representative. After a week of waiting for an email to mail back my product I did not receive an email. I called the customer service number again and was transferred to Andrey again. He speaks to your customers very poorly. When I asked to speak to a supervisor I was asked why would I want to speak with another person. When I explained that I would prefer to speak with someone else I was told "I can't transfer you to anyone else and I don't see why you want to speak with someone else when I was going to help you." He should not be working customer service for you guys. I have never experienced someone so rude, condescending, and entitled.

Bought automotive buffer. The motor was wired in reverse. The polishing head unscrewed the moment it was turned on.

We purchased Black and Decker crisp n bake 4 slice toaster oven with air fryer technology to replace my mother-in-laws other toaster oven. This product is unsafe, even after oven was turned off was unable to touch glass for 10 min without burning yourself. This is for an elderly person so we removed this product immediately will not purchase another of their products

We bought a beautiful looking kettle from Amazon the warranty was one year at 13 months it packed it in. We use once a day not happy.

contacted Black and Decker support several times trying to get a replacement charging cable every time I get a automated reply stating that they recieved the request and someone will reply. After getting no reply I summitted another support ticket with the previous support ticket numbers with the same results. I understand them not being able to help but a reply telling me that is not too much to ask. Will never buy a
Black and Decker product again.

Black and Decker 12/cup programmable coffee maker, is truly a WASTE of money. I have brought 2, didn't know at that time in a six month period, and with in weeks they have stopped working. Who fixes this frustrating problem

Dont trust the positive reviews, they are paid! I'm writing this after careful consideration and after giving too much of my patience and time with Black and Decker. The mop may be good, but for me it gave away after 15 days of use. The steam stopped getting generated. I tried contacting a customer care number on their site, no response. When I approached amazon, I was said its none of their issues, I need to contact a number they gave me. When I tried calling them, which I did a couple of times. I waited in queue for 45 mins, 1 hr, 30 mins. But never did I reach the customer care. When I approached amazon again, I was shared an email to reach out. When I wrote to that email, I received an answer after couple of days. I was assigned a ticket num and a tech number. When I reached out the tech he said he was out so I was expected to reach him some other time. After 2-3 days when I called him again, he asked for my invoice, which I shared. But, still no response. Later he replies on my whatsapp a CALL has been arranged with another technician. The other technician calls me and told me, he might visit in 3-4 days when he is in my area. I'm short of words what to call this company and its services. Its beyond the word pathetic. So people, until when the product is running fine its good for you. Once the product dies, you'll need to buy another, dont expect them to repair. All the warranty thing is a big BS. Please REFRAIN!!!! I'm glad I didnt invest in their high end product. Terrible is small word to describe what I've been through putting up with this company.

Less than a year ago we purchased a Black and Decker toaster oven at Walmart. It worked very well until last week. The control buttons NO longer work.

I bought a black and decker toaster oven a little over a year ago. It died today at 5:15pm. I was and am so disappointed. I thought black and decker was so good. But it's just like all the other companies. Throw them together with cheap parts and put them on the shelf to sell.

Your toaster air fryer does a great job of frying air. Pretty useless on anything else. One hour on chicken wings and french fries a a little excessive.

We live in a service economy devoid of service. I feel I've spent most of my free time for the last three weeks on hold with one vendor or tradesman or another.

About a year or so ago I purchased a high-wheel weed mower from the Sears nearest me; I thought that would be a convenient place to return it if it ever needed service. After all, some what may, Sears would ALWAYS be there. That store closed a month or two later. To be fair, it was in the ill-fated East Towne location and would probably be gone now in any event. Having had trouble with such mowers in the past I purchased the extended warranty. I called about a needed repair about a month ago and was pleasantly surprised when they offered to replace the entire machine which required only a new safety-lever assembly. A generous solution, I thought, which was NOT so generous after all as they never followed through on it.

I just tried to call them back. I was on hold--listening to hold music that was world class in its obnoxiousness--for an hour and 45 minutes before someone answered. I briefly explained my problem and he felt he needed to refer me to their technical department. I've now been on hold more than two hours. I think Craftsman makes good products, but their service is deplorable.

Very disappointed the cordless strimmer battery only lasted for one charge then flashed red to indicate faulty battery. The strimmer worked well and was easy to use but the product was let down by the battery and charger.
Aftercare from black and decker none existent.

I got his as a christmas gift and vever took it out of the box until a few weeks ago. The sweeper?Blower will NOT blow dry grass off a single sidewalk block. I called and was told that is not right. I got another and same thing. I called back and was told I could get a refund and they would issue a postage label to return it and to call the 800# for instructions. I do that and was told they would fix or send a replacement. I don't want this product it is useless. I told them I was told I could return it even though it was past the date because of the circumstances. They tell me to call the other # back, so now I go back and forth with NO results. I have an on going case issue with this item. My case was elevated last week and I was suppose to get a phone response in 24 to 48 hours. No response after 5 days. I call back and again get the response I will get a call back in 24 to 48 hours. Still waiting. Unbelievably poor customer service. Hours on the phone literally and still waiting for a response. I have been lied to by more than 1 representative and I am stuck with a product that does NOT work as advertised. It says 125 MPH power yet a small hair dryer has more power. This is NOT what you expect from Black and decker.

I'm writing to complain about a disappointing Mothers Day gift. I'm 55 years old but I like the simple things and ask my son for a coffee maker. With his money he purchased me a Black & Decker 12 cup #CM1060B 3 weeks later it starts to leak, hold grounds of outside the filter some how into the pot itself! Now I read that it could release CANCER CAUSING CHEMICALS LIKE: STYRENE AND BISPHENOL!!! You've totally ruined and disappointed me as a consumer who thought so much of your product name. I want someone to call me ASAP!

I have a problem with a Black and Decker coffee maker I've had for 2 mos. It is model CM2036.
The carafe isn;t glass, it looks like stainless steel and I was very happy with it so far. Yesterday, I noticed as I was cleaning the carafe that the inside bottom of it was peeling or scratched off and I was amazed. I can;t imagine how that happened, and how much of it went into the coffee, and we ingested. I went to the Walmart where I bought it to look for a replacement carafe which they did not have. That was an expensive coffeemaker, it shouldn;t have happened. Very disappointed, $50.00 out the window.

I am searching for a 40 volt chainsaw. After reading almost one hundred review of B&D, I have chosen not to buy a B&D. All reviews mention the oil dripping and spilling all over. Some say to buy stock in the chain oil if you purchase these products. As an avid environmentalist I am forbid myself to knowingly contribute to poisoning the soil for generations to come. Really! You should take steps to improve your product's carbon footprint. After all isn't that why the majority of people purchase these things.

I have a Leaf Hog Vortex Modle VB400 Type 3 and I need a new bag for it. It is oval shaped and slides on with two snaps that secure it. Where can I find one? B&D parts lists it as # 38 but the numbers only go to 32. If it's obsolete what am I suppose to do buy a new machine because no bags are available? If that's the case you can res assured it won't be a B&D.

I purchased a combination battery operated leaf blower and trimmer from Home Depot on 4/16/16. After using the blower 5 or 6 times the on/off switch does not work. I returned it to Home Depot yesterday and they told me they couldn't do anything about it because the product has a 30 day warranty. I couldn't believe this. Do you manufacture a disposable product so they can sell it for a special price? Is this indicative of the quality of this produce? If so why would a reputable company even manufacture this product?

I have a Black and Decker Lithium trimmer (LST420 Type 2). The battery holder is cracked and the switch has to be held very hard to make it work. We bought it at a Lowe's store June 28, 2015. Lowe's said we have to take it to one of your repair centers to have it fixed. Every one we try to call is either out of business or doesn't do this kind of work any more. We love the trimmer but are getting frustrated trying to get it fixed.

bought a black and decker combo of weed trimmer and leaf blower about a year ago. the weed eater stopped working, was going to buy another one and now you can not buy one that takes a 18 volt battery.I now have about $200.00 wrapped up in batterys and chargers that are now useless. Not a happy black and decker customer.

Dust buster Flex is the best small vacuum I have ever used-this one is wearing out after several years and I plan to get another one! Thank you for producing a good product!!!!!it's unheard of these days!!

I recently purchased a new Black & Decker hand-held lithium battery powered vacuum cleaner to replace a previous one that provided years of reliable service (the rechargeable battery would no longer hold a charge).

The new unit works fine except that it is missing a feature that the old one had....it doesn't have a light on it that lets the user know when the battery is fully recharged.

I think this is a important feature that should have been retained.

I have purchased at least three Black and Decker hand vacuums over the years. When I had a problem, this company could not have treated me better. Having an issue I wrote to Customer Service asking where I should ship my vacuum back for repair or if they could tell me where to take it locally to be fixed. I had not filled out any warranty card. To my total surprise, they e-mailed me back saying that they were sending out a brand new one. What a class act! It arrived today and I am a happy camper.
