I bought a Blackberry it's my 3rd one had many problems with the last one bought a new one under 6 months ago and it went to repairs twice already and now I can't make or receive phonecalls with the phone and blackberry will not exhange the phone even if it's still under warranty. They simply refer me to my phone provider.

There is no customer service otherwise I could tell them that I was a loyal fan of most everything BlackBerry but sadly there is no support for their products and their design keeps getting worse. I would love to stand by a Canadian company that had a great idea but ran itself into the ground... best thing to do is sell it to the Chinese and have the black mark of RIM and BlackBerry permanently erased from Canadian history.

Terrible and unsatisfying after-sale-service!

You should consider you choice when buying a new device. Have being using my device BlackBerry Z30 for 7 months before a systematic error from BlackBerry Anti-Theft Protection made it impossible. By accident my BlackBerry ID account was deleted, which is still connected to my device and prevent the usage. My numerous approaches to get in touch with BlackBerry in order to solve this issue, via my Point-of-Sale or directly via paid BlackBerry Technical Support, failed. In my opinion there is no interest to help or to satisfy end-customers, apart from to increase number of sales and to swallow new technological start-up companies.
After 7 loyal years - it is time to switch to a better alternative!

Best regards,
Former BlackBerry customer

AWFUL. The native built in app Remember stopped functioning. I've been given the runaround on all BB Help sites and couldn't even get to a free forum.

i used to be a BlackBerry man, for 9 years... had 3 Blackberry, Pearl, Bold 9700, who both served me well, even pass them on to friends after many years of service, then i moved on to a blackberry Q10, and after just a year...
it all went downhill... some key on the keybord stoped working, the phone started to restart by itself...it frooz..
Went to my local mobiel phoen provider who said i just need to update it, did so, and it was worst..
worked for 2 month and now it just wont start.. nothing to do.
i was looking for a customer section on the blackberry website, nothing, all i found is this...
i was going to send a long email to blackberry telling them about my frustartion...
would anyone know who i could contact? or if i m loosing my time? i know...it happened on a friday the 13th,,,

Blackberry is quick to take customers R59.00 for BIS but they cannot provide the service. When I phoned them they told me they will lodge an investigation and I must wait 48 hours. The consultant admited that they don't do their job properly and that it was hometime so I must just wait. The whole conversation is recorded. Their service is absolutely PATHETIC!!!!

Sir

I would like to bring to your notice a quality issue regarding your T touch repair services of my BlackBerry Passport device.

I had purchased the device impressed mainly by the brand name that Blackberry carries and the market reputation that it enjoys. Also the trust factor of the client and good servicing facility was a big deciding factor as I am an extremely busy professional with absolutely no time for such issues. I had thought that investing my hard-earned money in a premium device like yours would provide me the comfort of best technology and also save me the unnecessary hassles of chasing around the company people for servicing issues because I am sincerely tied up as far as any such extravagant expenditure of my precious time is concerned.

I would like to tell you that my limited experience of Blackberry services has been a painful one and the reason that I am writing to you is because of a faint hope that the company would like to live up to its name, even if some of its employees are not performing their duties properly.

I had deposited my BlackBerry Passport (which is a premium device of BlackBerry Limited) on 07th October 2015 with the service center for the complaint of, which is considered as a software issue for my mobile and was told by the service center that the device will be sent to Bangalore for an advance level of servicing.

After receiving my handset I didn't get a good chance to check the condition if the problem was resolved or not as I was travelling due to my professional requirements and so in good faith that it must have been solved by the experts that Blackberry is, I left the device at my home.

Unfortunately , on coming back from my work trip, I noticed that my mobile is having the same problem for which I had given it for servicing and seemed to have further issues which I am mentioning below :-

Apart from the problem for which the device was deposited for servicing and the issue not being resolved , the device seemed to have been mishandled too and opened in an inappropriate manner, where one screw is missing and another one is screwed improperly.

The signs of mishandling the device are clearly visible on that screw and there is' NO tempered' seal over there as well, which is a clear sign that my device was opened up for hardware issues.

The device which I had deposited for software issue seems to be handled for hardware issues and I have got it back with some more new problems of heating of the device and battery drainage. Now the battery of my device gets drained without any usage within 03 hours from 100% to 0% and keeps on heating without any Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, data or network.

The handset is heating too much and I am unable to keep it in my pocket and thus take it along or use it for work related use.

Having apprised you of the situation with my device right now, I would like to know the following:-

If my device had hardware issues then why was I not informed about it?

How can my device be opened without my approval and that too in an inappropriate manner by a layman (which is clearly visible by the way in which the device has been handled) who is not able to close it properly, where one screw is missing and another one is screwed in place improperly and sign of mishandling is clearly visible on that screw.

If this set had a hardware issue then why has it not been replaced rather than repairing as the device falls in the relevant time period for such a provision?

I am appalled to know that if this is the condition of BlackBerry Passport premium device then how the company can provide such a poor service to its premium clients.

Having said all this, I would like you to know that my BlackBerry Passport mobile IMEI: 351852061002282 is under warranty and I am eligible for replacement of the device due to hardware problem as warranty/ Guarantee and service governed by manufacture's (BlackBerry Limited).

I have again deposited my handset to same service center with Job ID: 8016031574 RMA No. RM05034185. However, now it appears to be as if servicing company T-touch HCL company or BlackBerry Limited are gaining time till the warranty expires so that it will convert the problem towards a paid service issue or no claim to the company T-touch HCL company or BlackBerry Limited.

I have attached the photos, bill and service center form for your reference for further process.

I would like to request you to look into the issue at the earliest possible and try for the redressal of my grievance.

Best Regards

To Whom it may concern, I am a BB user since 2004 and I used to enjoy the devices that I purchased. The BB store was excellent until OS 10 came out. The most recent OS 10 update has gotten worse in every aspect. My Q10 freezes, I can't call my voice mail from the HUD anymore, my third party APPS are useless as well as the support. I should have switch to Samsung devices a long time ago however, i was hoping that RIM would test the OS before sent it out to users. Unfortunately, the damage is done and I will acquire Samsung product in the near future.

I am using BlackBerry passport and a little bit worry that when android BlackBerry arrive the bb10 will become a second child of BlackBerry ... bb10 is fantastic but support is really very bad for user to be accustomed to its menu system....radically different either to interface for the ios or android or even to ms windows.....even experienced users experienced of slow to catch...and unluckily not aware of that lots of wonderful interface available...the power of QNX really superior to android and ios...but if only few knows it...what for???... I really suggested that if android BlackBerry is launched also please provide the bb10 with the same user interface for all the menu that available either in bb10 or android..and all the other goodness functionality that is only. Available in bb10 redesign the icon and interface so will be in a harmony with android like interface of bb10 ...including backward button and return to main menu button like in android...I believe if such interface is available new users will not hesitate to use bb10 because of familiarity with its menu system and all the icon available... it will help all the new users to use the bb10 and not aware it is not android and will admire all the extra functions available in bb10 but are not available either in the android or ios ....the funny thing of me even have using the passport for more then six months just recently I know that shortcut by pressing a key in physical keyboard is available for most used menu..this is a great thing only available in bb10 .....hope by doing that it will increase the number of users of bb10 so it will be supported by blackberry not as a second priority of operating system.. I really feel not well with current possible android will kick the bb10 becomes a second child of BlackBerry ...

I bought my bb 9720, 01 Dec 2014. It just keep switching off. Today is the third time in a row that vodacom is sending it to Johannesburg. It feels to me, by the time I'm getting the phone back, everything would be working on except for the real fault. I don't want this phone back. Rather give me a new one or give back my money for me to buy a new phone. Waiting your response.

Back in the day the hang up/call "button" was on the top! Now on the bottom! One bad thing on a touch screen you slide up the screen up and usually end up hanging up! Can you program the call/hang up button be put in the middle/top of page! I understand you probably didn't expect people to multi task on phone! But, some of us do! Second somewhat complained, on taking a picture on a touch screen, we were able to touch anywhere on the screen to take a picture! Now, we have a button just like the IPHONE! Can you put it back to the way it was!!! If thus not the right complaint center please forward or email me back with the right one!!! [email protected]. Thank you. Oh yeah, before I go the text message is really really SLOW!!!!

Don't give you any help and always send you to the carrier. Do you or do you not support your products

I'm currently on my 5th Blackberry in 5years. Maybe I'm just a sucker for punishment but I love Blackberry phones. Why do you make your phones so weak that they keep breaking? If it's not the keypad or cursor it's the touch screen that keeps breaking. Everyone in my family has moved to Iphones or Samsungs but I still love my Blackberry. Guys, come on, please make a your phones more durable. You came into the market with big bang but now even the no name brands are lasting longer than your phones.

I changed my email password and received an email from Blackberry asking me to validate the new password. But the prompt saying "Validate" did not work. I called them to find out why they are sending me something that doesn't work. After an agonizing 48 minutes of being shuffled to 2 utterly clueless reps, who even called my carrier for a code number, asking me the same questions over and over again - and that's just to get a "ticket#. While I was ready to hit the ceiling I studied the Blackberry icons and found one that said Settings (never had to use it before - just the Options one). Within 10 seconds I saw the email icon, changed the password, and finally hung up on Blackberry. After being a loyal customer for 10+ years ready for the new Classic, and being the butt of my friends' jokes for using a Blackberry, I'm now on the hunt for another phone with keyboard - just not a Blackberry. Their customer service is HORRIBLE! And on their website there is NO way to complain about it either! Buy a Droit or iPhone!

Switched service providers from AT & T to Consumer Cellular on a BB Curve 9360. Inserted in the DIM card and all was working except where you want to go to the web on the data plan using the service provider rather than the wi-fi.
I discovered that Blackberry charges a fee to service providers to be able to use the data section of the phone. Blackberry holds the providers hostage with the license. CC does not have the license therefore no web connection using the data plan.
Blackberry is the only phone that requires this special license agreement.
Bye Bye Blackberry and hello to another phone manufacturer.
