Why do the Dollar Trees look like Third World stores?
I love the stores and all the items that I can buy there, but hate the way that items are just left in the isles and unorganized shelves lately. I went to Valley Bend Shopping Center in Huntsville, Al today, and the cashier said she was new ( her first day). She had NO personality, and barely looked at me. But, the biggest complaint that I had was that she couldn't get off her texting to really give customer service, and looked offended when she had to put her phone down to help me. Either The Dollar Tree needs to pay more so that in hiring, they don't keep losing good workers, or they need to instruct them, so that these kiddos have to have some work ethics and NO phones allowed out of their purses or pockets other than on their own time

7/15 @ 12:08 Maria assisted my purchase. She was on her cell phone the entire time she was checking customers. I told her I thought that was rude of her. She made no comment.

On July 11th I went to Dollar Tree 1147 in Wallace NC. Total 46.31. Used my debit card and was approved. Cash register malfunction cause me not to get receipt. Manager came over to try to fix. She said it didn't go thru and had to redo transaction. I checked my online banking and it showed it had been paid. I called my bank and bank even told her it had been approved. I showed manager my account and even bank talked to her. I told her I had to go. In a threatening way she told me I would not be leaving store with merchandise. I finally just said put it back up. I was not paying for it again. This is the first Dollar tree. I have encountered the most rude and unprofessional employee ever. I work at an assisted living. Between me, my residents and other employees at my facility, we spend a lot of money each week. But I will change my business to elsewhere. Bank is taking care of the rest.

I'm posting at #7807 Dollar Tree store - located in Franklin, La. I came in shopping and noticed one manager kept nitpicking at an employee while trying to do her job. The manager would purposely leave her register to pick on the employee that was stocking and doing her job. After hollering & screaming at the girl, the employee finally snapped back and the manager had the nerve to call her three daughters to "jump" the poor girl while the manager still haven't checked her line! She was so focused on bullying and terrorizing that employee instead of doing her job! Horrible management, messy environment, no good A/C and terrible customer service is what I experience today! Never again will I go there.

Store 01570 - incompetent assistant managers. Gossiper's, counter productive work habits. Totally inexperienced.

I'm writing this about store 07149 in kinston,NC every time I go into that store it a mess and the guy that work there rude. That same young man always have his pant hanging off his butt with his orange underwear showing and don't know how to talk to people. One thing I noticed is that him and the store manager are in a relationship and they live together I've seen that my self it on facbook that there are in a relationship. That same young man always outside and coming back smelling like weed. I asked to speak to the manager about it and she stated to me that she will handle it. I believe you guys need to look into it ASAP before you lose customer like me and good worker.

Store #5255 in Kent Washington state, I have met the best employees named Von and CoLii. They are there working hard and remain busy the entire time they are on shift. I have seen them reset the store, make isles look amazing and assist other employees when there are questions or concerns. My favorite line from CoLii is " we apologize for the wait but we do appreciate your patience and someone will be with you soon!" Her professionalism is refreshing and I feel that she should be the manager rather than Amanda who I've seen in the store under the influence of something. They need to be rewarded for all their efforts and the amount they get paid is trash compared to their work ethics. I love coming to the store to see Von and CoLii their smile is warming. Lately they are not there and the store looks like trash again. What are you doing to praise these amazing workers? I asked the manager Amanda if they were there and she told me some mean things then bragged about getting them fired. What kind of manager is that? To me a manager trying to hide behind her pipe and other employees to keep her reputation. You will loose good workers over drug habits. That's unfortunate.

I was a witness to the guy threatening the two women employees witness Friday. I was in the store yesterday June 19, 2023 to talk to the manager about the situation and was disappointed in the action of the manager Amanda toward her employees CoLii ( what I saw on the name tag). I was in line to check out when CoLii knocked on the managers door to ask about more hours. The manager stated her DM I taking care of the situation from the other day regarding the guy that pulled a knife out on CoLii and another lady. The manager said that Kyle doesn't see the knife and there's no audio so they don't know what was said. CoLii confirmed what I was coming to tell her but the manager yelled to the employees "you are creating a hostile work environment!" The employees replied "because Im being punished for the action of a manager, this is retaliation!". The manager yelled it again "you have created a hostile work environment and you can only work 16 a week." The employees stated Chris is NOT a manager with manager hours and has had those hours since I started getting sick from the drug use in the bathroom!" The employees stated your high right now but we can't show the company but everyone else gets punished but you!"
This is not a supporting manager at store #5255 in Kent. I have been shopping here for a long while unfortunately this is what I see from the managers. The disrespect to their employees, it seems that the DM is not trying to help the good workers in the store. Please help these ladies they are being bullied at their job and they do a great job.

I was at the dollar tree on lacy rd whiting nj. I was buying 3 balloons and a balloon holder and a balloon on a stick. The cashier, as I was trying to tie them onto the holder, she started pulling them out of my hand to ring them up. I had to tell to wait a minute so they didn't fly to the ceiling. As she rung me up I was trying to tie a knot so they didn't blow away when she got very rude and wanted the money. There was no one on line behind me as I wouldn't have been doing that. The manager heard how she spoke to me and did nothing. She was an older lady, at like 11:30 am. June 15. I did not deserve being treated like that. Yes. I got nasty back but I shouldn't have had to. I don't go out to get abused.

Nasty worker and nasty store Store# 7375 3599 Atlanta GA

My comments are about your store on Guess road in Durham, NC. It's a pig sty mess with dirt on the floors, trash all over the floors and just beyond anything I've ever seen in a store. This morning the outside trash can was over flowing and looked like it had exploded as there was garbage all over the area near the front door and beyond. I did complain it a while back and the clerk just shrugged as if she didn't care. Nothing has changed since then. I thought the corporate office would like to know about this as I've never seen anything like it in any business facility I've ever gone in.

I doubt my complaints will be heard or dealt with considering that your store has received 87 percent bad reviews and 12 percent good reviews.

I shopped at the Appleton store off of College Avenue, on Memorial drive yesterday! Horrible employees yelling expletives at each other the whole time I was there. The store was in horrible condition. It was very unkept. The employees are a major problem at this location. They do not greet you or ask if you need anything. They are rude, frankly. I do not want to visit a store where people scream at others that work there. This has happened to me on more than one occasion at this location in Appleton, Wi.

I am a public school teacher and visit this store to help me supply snacks and school items for my classroom. Many people at my school do the same at this DT location. We are not happy with the customer service that this store is giving.

Please speak to the people who manage this location. They are rude and need to be fired in my opinion. Nobody should have to visit a retail establishment that has employees that act in this horrible manner.

I will not be a customer at this store ever again! Please fix this problem. Many people in our community do not have the choice to go anywhere else. They may need you. They don't deserve the awful experience that your employees are providing your customers at this particular store.

I was just at the Dollar Tree in Woodbury/Valley Creek plaza. The employee named Kenesha was very rude. When I got near the check out. She was loudly complaining about a customer and then continued to complaining to another employee about that customer while other customers were hearing it. I went to a cash register that was open. The customer ahead of me had alot of merchandise. I waited for awhile, but then there was 3 customers behind me. Kenesha, the employee, then opened up a second register. The 3 customers behind me went to her register. I then took my 3 items and waited in that line. When it was my turn, Kenesha took a couple boxes of candy and walked away from the register, leaving me standing there. I, then, had to go back to the other register and continue to wait. The cashier at that register apologized for what Kenesha had done. That was not only rude but very unprofessional. I go to the Dollar Tree very frequently and have never, ever experienced this very rude behavior.

I was just going to put a complaint about your store # 1429 in San Antonio, TX but I just realized the comments from customers were so many. But, with all these comments from customers, nothing has been approved in your stores. Why????? Dollar Tree just keeps opening more stores and annoying the stores with problems. Dollar Tree will never hire good workers and especially managers with respect towards customers when their company does not have to and get away with paying the lowest wages and benefits. They expect to yet work their workers hard and just keep one cashier open. Dollar Tree I think has more store theft and doesn't care because they always come out still ahead. Lazy, Crazy workers and very few good workers trying to make the store look good for the customers. The store in SAN ANTONIO TXS 1429 has many Holes in the ceiling and stinks with moles and is very dirty. The store needs to be closed down or REDONE. DOLLAR TREE is a great store if only one thing you can change to help the store and customer is called STOP BEING SO GREEDY!!!!!!

Dollar Tree at Sandhill and Flamingo in Las Vegas just kicked me out humiliating me in front of a store full of people. Lady said she thought I might be someone who had shoplifted before. I've only been in this store once before for something that wasn't even in stock. I couldn't get anyone in this store to help me. Customer service was extremely poor at best. This lady refused to give me her name. How do I file a formal complaint.

Purchase made of table covers and plaques on 5/8/23. I wanted to return the unused items for refund. I discovered at the bottom of the receipt that no refund is given only exchange or unopened item(s) with an original receipt. Had I known that before I purchased I wouldn't have shop there in the first place. I am angry that I found statements visible before purchase in the store. Pursuing corporate headquarters to plead my case at get a refund to my credit card. Otherwise I don't suggest shopping there unless you have no problem with exchange only terms.

The Dollar tree in Roswell New Mexico on the south side of Roswell I mean the store managers never there the store manager they're always lacking cashiers the store manager don't know what he's doing he's scared to manage his store you ask a question and he don't know how to answer you shouldn't be a store manager at all I think he's too young to understand how to be a store manager he's never in the store

I placed an order for 24 vases from Dollar Tree on Saturday-3/25/23 and my only option was to have them delivered to my home, no ship to store option. My order is still in the processing status so I called the customer service call center to find out if the product is on back order or what is taking so long to ship. The rep. was rude and unhelpful, asking other reps for assistance because she didn't know what info to provide. Her final answer was that the distribution site is closed on weekends so the order wasn't received until Monday and I will still receive my order within 7 business days from 3/25. When I asked if I could request a refund she proceeded to argue with me asking why I won't just wait for my order. I ended the call because I didn't want to argue that I need the vases by a certain date because they are for a party I'm hosting and I still have to prep them with decorations. I hope I get these by at least 4/7, if not I will be canceling the order and getting a refund.

What a horrible experience, visited store 3-13-23 @ 9:45am. Had approx 20.00 of items in buggy. Got to check-out gave cashier $50. bill, was immediately told she couldn't break a bill that large?? Pointed out I would only get around 30. back in change?? She was very stern, we don't have that kind of money in register or the safe ? REALLY, are ya'll that broke or just going out of business??

I live in Amarillo Texas. The bathrooms in the dollar trees are so disgusting. They are never clean. Sing some floors are black it just looks disgusting.

I was at a dollar tree on 03/04/2023 at around 6:20pm getting some food and one of the employees attacked me so I was tell the manager and she rush me and two mor employees grab so I call the police while I was in the ambulance the police came back and said they don't want to press charges I said I'm the person who called so I said I want to press charges he kept telling me just leave it alone so again I said I want to press charges he said go hoe agin I ask ok you say you look at the tape he said just go home.now I'm going to call corporate the store is on pulaski 6820 right by the gas station.60651 Chicago il
