I have a pass due bill and service has been disconnected. It is Friday and there is no one in Customer Service to speak to. My funds will not clear in the bank until the next business day. This means I am without power all weekend and refrigerated foods will have to be thrown away. There should be service over the weekend until business can be handled on Monday.

Worst electric company ever. Constant outages. Then they leave you without electric for days and this hapoens every summer. Furthermore, dominion was notified of a tree that broke and has been hanging on a power line across my driveway. Watch the lawsuit I bring forward if anyone in my family is injured by this hazard.

Can't reach them on weekends, billing system is garbage. Said I had missed payments when came out of my bank account. Rates increased tone. Horrible customer service, long outages. Never had a power company with as bad as service as this

I called customer service before 5:00 and there is no way to speak to a live person

Made an appointment for technician to come out on Monday, 7 March 2022. I work from home. I cancel all appointments for Monday. I was up at 6 AM and then I'll leave my home until 7 PM. The technician never showed up from Dominion energy of Virginia. I have been calling since Monday every time I call my calls or transfer to more than three people and still have not been able to talk to a manager and today is Wednesday figured I was just on hold for over an hour and the call got disconnected I was hung up on

I was placed on a plan that was horrible and I tried to get off several times and the Supervisor lied today and say I had a balance but my balance is 0. And she refuse to take me off the plan that makes me pay more. So she wants me to keep paying a balance based an estimate when that was never explained to me. But I kept looking at my bill and it was less This is awful and she knows there is nothing I can do. I am very disappointed in the way customer service is trained to provide awful services to customers. Instead of helping they me on a plan that is costing more than I should be paying.

Day 3 without power. My estimate has been changed 3-4 times and it keeps getting pushed out further and longer every time. It's very frustrating, especially since I have 3 kids, two of which are young. Everyone around us has power. It's, according to their outage map, a small cluster of about 28 of us that have been kicked around and forgotten. I have no doubt the guys in the field are working hard to get everyone's power on, but don't keep getting our hopes up on a timeframe and then kick us in the nuts. The only good thing is that at least I'm not wracking up a power bill, but in the end, it's going to be the consumers who foot the bill for all of this, anyway.

Power's been out for 3 days now and half the neighborhood had their power back on yesterday evening. We still have no power and over 50-80 homes are still out of power. The power company drove down the streets last night with no power so they are aware but they packed up their workers and utilitiy vehicles and haven't been back yet. My guess is they just left us hanging and move on to another outage. Very Frustrating!!!!

We have 30 plus animals to care for, not to mention the people. One foot of snow and we go 3 days without water for us...no heat when temps are in teens? You have no idea the hurdles we climb through. Please help us! In the country no power means no water. We were told power coming tonight. Why suddenly not until tomorrow? What goal became more important than people and animals with no water?! How do we survive?!

Dominion Energy is not responsive. Dominion Power used to provide updates online and gave you some rough estimate for when power would be restored. Their website and text update system is useless and the customer support provided by a rep today was simply unacceptable. We continue to deliver water and wood to our elderly neighbors, but there has been no communications from the company since Monday at 10 am and it is now Tuesday at 5:10. Their customer centricity is nonexistent. I wish I had another alternative.

how did this company ever get customer's

Dominion wants you to believe they are concerned about your safety when working near their lines yet if you call to have bare high power lines wrapped, cut, or replaced so you can work around lines that are within your reach, they will do nothing. Even after calling over 5 times to put in work orders. They will not even call you to let you know they are not going to do anything. We are going to have to try to cover the lines ourselves with rubber and prop them up with wood so we can work under them. I see a huge lawsuit in the future if anyone gets killed or hurt due to their lack to safety.

Watch your bill they will charge you the highest amount they can do. This company should be the last company you use for anything at all, very very much not a reputable company.A big big big ripoff.

Every time a storm rolls through, Dominion Energy proves once again that they are a company fit for the 3rd world. It is shameful that your powergrid is so sensitive and goes to show how secure it is should someone become radicalized. These are symptoms of a bigger problem and Dominion unfortunately has a monopoly so they can continue their third world games.

Dominion energy is terrible. Every time a minor storm rolls through the power goes out. This isn't a problem in the south where I'm from. Then they usually take between 12-24 hours to restore power. Terrible.

Hi. I am interested, as a Dominion Energy customer, in a productive conversation about how Dominion goes about "trimming" trees in my urban neighborhood in Arlington, VA. My goal is to reach a reasonable compromise that does not leave residents sending profane emails and giving Dominion the lowest possible online rating. As a community activist, I have several options available, but I'm approaching you first by trying to avoid the political ones -- contacting elected officials, making a scene with my local gov't, etc.. Yes, my tree was overcut and damaged last week by Asplundh on your behalf, mid-July, without prior notice to us of tree trimming. I was as angry as any property owner to whom this happens, and did post photos on Twitter. I however avoided further amplification and said nothing profane or rude about Dominion. THIS IS A SINCERE attempt to establish a dialog with a manager who can do something productive to set a neighborhood-level model that is reasonable for both sides. I will spend a respectable amount of time pursuing this angle before moving on to a more emphatic approach. Please have someone get back to me: [email protected] - Elizabeth Lyon, Arlington, VA. Thank you.

Bought a packet of all sorts they was all stuck together not happy

Each month I receive your emailed notification of that month's bill. Each month I attempt to follow the instructions to pay online. My problem is that your payment instructions are confusing and not at all intuitive. I always have to try different options until I find the one I want to use. This month, for the first time, I was charged a fee to pay online. Dominion is getting as bad as the banks, cooking up new ways of nickle-and-diming your customers.

Walking by workers on the road I motioned them to move back 6 feet so I could pass by. They laughed at me and brushed me off. Ignorant workers not wearing masks and not giving me space to walk by . How about you inform your workers that there is a Pandemic which is infecting and killing people. They must be conspiracy theorists . Plenty of those nut jobs around here.

This company is a and a rip-off. They need competition in Virginia

Posted by Sitting in the dark... again

Virginia is becoming well known for its poor infrastructure but Dominion Power is by far the worst electricity provider that I have ever encountered.

I have lived in six different states and have visited numerous others and have NEVER seen the power go out for a simple rain or breeze.

I'm not talking hurricane conditions, I'm just referring to a typical rainfall.

Then it takes Dominion forever and a day to fix what ever broke in their antiquated grids.

The real kicker is the pathetic superiority complex and attitude of the Dominon employees.

Here is an idea, how about finding qualified and knowledgeable employess from OUTSIDE of Virginia and replace the loafers that you currently employ. You may find they are more productive, even when just standing around in a gaggle.

I am more than surprised, and I will say disgusted, to see that Dominion has tried to debit my bank account on 9 January 2020, for a bill due on the 15th !!!
