I have Dropbox. Their customer service isn't great. I saw after the fact after I set up 2 more accounts under different email addresses that I could change it from an old one to one of the new ones. I emailed them three times. So far I've received one reply. It says to wait one to three days for a response. Don't even bother calling them. I tried to explain my situation, didn't or couldn't help. It may be I'll have an email address that I can no longer use will stay and I can't exactly change the password because I have no way to get access to it because of security reasons. The one thing I liked was that my pictures and files were in different places, computer and tablet. Their customer service definitely needs improving though for us regular folks!

Like many of the complaints on this page, I am horribly disappointed with DropBox. The fact that no one responds to inquiries and the telephone number only takes you through a series of automated messages is unacceptable.

Hello there
Just to let you know I have complained to the ombudsman and trading standards about your dealings with trials and duping customers in dropbox business
To charge me £660 for the business account I did not want is going to be notified everywhere

You cannot charge people £660 pounds without warning - i will also be notifying the television scam side of things

After days of slow email communication with Dropbox concerning the inability to upload files to Dropbox cloud, I've asked for a full refund. So far rep Darien is refusing and it's taking even more of my time. While they allowed the iron to cool, I've found that Google's cloud service, Google Drive, received a higher rating from PC Magazine...

Unless you succumb to their Business account for a mim of $750. they wont talk to you.. I am moving my 2 pro accounts to their competitor and will no longer refer customers when asked to them. In the beginning, when they were begging for business, they were great. When I ended of the trial for the business account. They won't talk to me anymore. Goes to show you the only thing that makes them talk to is money.

For two weeks I have been trying to get some information from Dropbox. The phone number has nothing but recordings. Filling out requests on line has not resulted in any answer. I am done with Dropbox. They deserve the name "Droppingsbox".

I have never-repeat NEVER-been so disappointed in dealing with any customer service. They make it impossible to speak with anyone on the phone. I'm beginning to think that they have no staff. Dropbox is not letting me delete files nor did it let me add more space to my account.

How are people in business supposed to function with the Dropbox service if there is no service! Dropbox and the management team stink!!!

Dropbox is a joke.

Worst customer service ever! Dropbox keeps deleting vital information for our business!! They have not explanation and provide no support to correct it! They told me how to restore the files, but I can only restore one file at a time...we have hundreds of thousands!!! I finally restored them all and 6 months later...happens again. Cannot get a human on the phone, no compensation,, no resolution.

Have been trying to reset my password for over 24 hours. I have typed it correctly every time but have not received any email with a link to change it. Also cannot find any email address of phone number to request support. THIS IS HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SUPPORT.

When it's working, dropbox is great. Simply, it sinks folders across all your enrolled devices, and it let's you share files with anyone online. Very handy.
BUT... if you have a problem, forget about it. Recently, my dropbox started to fill up, so they started sending me emails about upgrading. When I clicked the links in the emails, they were all broken and took me to a Error (500) page. This referred me to their Customer Help Center. This is the most convoluted "help" center I've ever seen. If you do a search with the terms "Error (500)" you get a long list of results, NONE of which reference the Error (500). So you click through the links and get to a spot where you can submit a support request. This is basically an email submission, and "allow 1 - 3 business days for a response." Long story short, Dropbox doesn't even offer chat service. They do not want to talk to their customers. If I can find a company with telephone support, I'm switching.

I've been trying to cancel a business account that I unwittingly signed up for. I have absolutely no need for a business account and signed up with my personal paypal account in order to download some photos. I was charged £660 and immediately phoned Dropbox and was told I could cancel my account and would be refunded in 3-5 days. I followed the instructions and believed that I'd cancelled my account. On day 7 there was still no refund. I made contact again to be told I'd 'passed the cancel period' and that I hadn't cancelled the account properly. So it doesn't matter if there is a record of a phone call in the 'cancel period' where I specifically and clearly communicated that I wanted my account to be cancelled. I'm appalled at how Dropbox make it difficult to cancel accounts and essentially trick customers. I will NEVER trust this service again. Dropbox has basically stolen from me.

Your Customer Support Is A Joke. There Is None.
I Have Been Trying To Change My Email Address For 24 Hours With No Success. I Originally Typed In The Wrong Email And When I Tried To Change It To The Correct One, It Said That That Email Had Already Been Used. How Do I Change It To The Correct Email Address?
You Publish A Phone Number But When Contacted, The Message Says That You Will No Talk To Anyone! What Kind Of Support Is This?
Please Help.

Just like so many other companies out there now, NO ONE has a telephone number listed on their website and more and more of them are not even listing an email address. I haven't had problems with Dropbox...YET. I wanted to contact to let them know about a situation I thought they might be interested in knowing about...but I can't find a telephone number OR an email address. If they have either, it's not readily evident on their main page or anywhere in my account information. And after reading all the problems so many are having with it, I'm seriously considering taking my business elsewhere.

Absolutely horrible customer service. Important client files are disappearing for no reason. There is no human to talk to. For such a large company, your service is terrible. I need to back up my files then cancel your service.

Like others I have paid the €99 for dropbox pro and have 1 month later been downgraded. I have had no reply to me e-mails / submitted comments and because it is not a business account you cannot contact someone directly. I currently have 122 friends, family etc who use dropbox pro and am going to encourage them to drop the service. I urge you reader to do the same.

I was happily using Drop Box until one day, I was told I did not have any more room. So I deleted two big files, and have basically nothing left. Not only does it not update where I can share with my parent sender more pictures but what I transferred is missing all pictures but 12. Why is this happening?

It seems that you don't want my business because no one wants to answer my question or talking to me. I can't check my account status and paid $99.00 but unable to use drop box. Never again to use Drop Box.
