A mistake in my itinerary was handled by a rep named Katie. She was very helpful and the change in flight was beneficial. S assured me I would receive email confirmation of the new itinerary within 24 hours but it has been a week and I have received nothing. I plan to call to resolve this today but would have appreciated the new itinerary being emailed and taken care of by now.

WE just have to be polite for agents to cater to our requests. I was given a 100usd coupon for my hotel stay when the airlines changed my reservation. It was not expedia's fault but they still helped me.

There's no uncertainty Expedia is one of the leading tour booking sites. It has numerous advantages that made it the initial preference in any traveler's record. Though really convenient, the site's customer service is not as alert because it should be. It decays its recognition as one of the leaders whilst competing with competitors. I experienced complications for my bookings with buyer service, and also some information didn't look like to be correct as told through the organization rep over the telephone.

In case you're interested I like better using http://www.theholidayhotels.com because they offer the equal deals/hotels/flights etc as Expedia, but on the site there could be found some further listings of hotels, that are not listed on the usual sites. Those hotels in their network has been a remarkable aid for me, since they are not just affordable, nonetheless also geared up with the nicest services.

Just wanted to mention a few kind words regarding the service received by ROCKY (sorry, didn’t capture last name) during 2/5 9.30am ET phone call placed for the customer service assistance. My original departure flight was cancelled by American Airlines, due to the New York City storm, rescheduling me for the next day departure only, shortening my vacation (and as you might know, vacations in New York city are almost non-existent ;) from 5 nights to 4 nights. American Airlines was willing to change my departure from Cancun for one extra day, but I needed the reserved Cancun hotel to change the reservation from 2/5-2/10 to 2/6-2/11. I tried to make that change through 2 other Expedia customer representatives staying on hold for a total of 90 mins eventually being disconnected, but ROCKY was able to get to the right person, make a change to the existing reservation, constantly checking on me to make sure we were still connected, and communicating all the way through the process. I can’t thank ROCKY enough for the outstanding service provided, and because of employees like her, Expedia is a trustable brand when there are so many other options out there. Huge Thank You to Rocky for the excellent customer service job!

I was able to successfully cancel two room reservations through Expedia without any issue at all. The operator was helpful and efficient, I received immediate email confirmation of the cancellation.

I am very dissappointed because I spoke with one of your agents concerning two of my passengers who were not able to go with us due to illness. We purchased 43 roundtrip tickets through expedia on Virgin Australia from Apia to Auckland on 6/19 and return. Two of my people were in the hospital and I called epedia to cancel immediately this is the day before the flight. I was told that they will be credited and can use for another trip. When I called earlier today to book these two ladies for flights to Auckland and was told there is no credit, it was a no show. After I was told a different story, I am a pastor of our church. I am very sad. I could have just booked directly with Virgin Australia but I will let our people in Samoa know of this problem with expedia. It is hard to trust them again after I was told of a lie.

My husband and recently book an inclusive with Expedia. They did a wonderful job, flawless, until we had the option to purchase Universal Tickets, what a mistake that was, I hope Expedia excludes Universal from their line up, we ended up paying Universal $400.00 on line for two park to park tickets, when we got to Universal they wouldn't honor the second day!! we had to pay again if we wanted back in the park. Though this was all Universals fault and NOT Expedia, Expedia should not let Universal on their sight or refer you over to them. Buy your Universal tickets at the gate do NOT buy in advance. You pay less at the gate... I was very happy with my Expedia experience, with that one major flaw... kick Universal off your site... Otherwise my trip was AMAZING and flawless. :-)

Today, July 28,2013 I called customer service twice about a charge on my credit card. I talked with both Richard and then later Alexes(or Alexia.) My problem was a difficult one that took a lot of time and effort. Both of these people were extremely helpful, worked very hard to try to solve my problem,were very professional and made me feel that they really cared about my problem. I would like to thank them and hope those that are their superiors know what good employees they are. I will not hesitate to use Expedia again, due to these two people. I know if there is a problem I will be taken care of immediately and with kindness.

I really aprreciated the help of Lanaia who helped us get seats for our daughter on a booked flught. She understood our concerns and went the extra mile to call the airlines to helo us ( I previous called Delta myelsf and got no where)

I've booked my honeymoon and two anniversary trips through expedia to Europe from Chicago and have never had an issue. One time I even had this big change with a hotel and they refunded my money without an issue. I had to get an Okay from the hotel, but expedia followed through.

I have just called expedia India hotline to confirm changes in my husband's flightbookings. I spoke to a Mr. Hemand Kumar first, who very patiently and professionally updated my husband's flight details, juggling between China Eastern Airlines and me. After 10minutes of the call, before he could give me the reference number of that call, we got disconnected. So I called again, and this time, I was connected to Mr. Abhinav Rai, who was equally helpful, professional and polite. After patiently hearing me out, he gave me the call reference numbers and reconfirmed the flight bookings.
Very precise and professional. THANK YOU!! :)

Don't blame Expedia.com.
I'm working in customer service and I'm always polite and nice to customers even some are demanding and rude...
When you book in expedia,you agreed the rules and restrictions..
As a travel agency,we are just following the rules of the vendors...W're not making our rules here,if the airlines will not refund the ticket,how much more expedia,we also purchased the tickets from the airline..
Don't put the blame on us....

It's your choice..if you will use us or not.!

I was suprisingly happy with Expedia customer service when I had to change the dates of my trip to India last year. Not only could they change the dates but the hotel price went down and I ended up getting a better rate.

Expedia changed my flight from 7:15 AM to 6:45 AM and just that little time was to early for me to get to the airport. I called and they changed it to 8:05 AM with the same seat. I was very satisfied.

I had trouble booking online and therefore called the customer service number. Britney helped me get my flights booked and confirmed that the online reservation was not charged to my credit card. She was very efficient and super friendly. Great customer service from this lady!!

I booked a flight with Expedia.ca then i cancelled it due to family issue the call center agent told me it's a non refundable ticket but it's creditable, however i called after 2 weeks to rebook & damn i spent more than 3 hours over the phone cuz all representatives keep saying no availability since the original flight was a special fare one I asked to deal with a manager they transfered my call to a guy called Leon he's a supervisor @ the escalation department, i beleive he's not Egyptian like the rest of agents & may be he's not located in Cairo, Egypt. as well. he was so professional & confirmed my flights in 4 minutes then he offered me a 100$ coupon for the long time on hold with the call center agents..oh finally thanks god & thanks Leon

I must say i was a little nervous at first when i realized i had to cancel my reservations to tampa for next weekend. i called and expedia did explain that this was a non-refundable reservation, but they will call the hotel to see what they say. i was placed on hold while they contacted the hotel for about 3-4min. The rep came back to the phone and they allowed it with a full refund! Thank you God!!! and thank you Expedia rep, and the hotel!
