I called G.M. about Thomas Chevrolet in Bedford,PA who sold me a 2022 equinox on 2-16-23. We agreed to complete the paper work 2-19-23,but they refused due to an open recall.They strung me along for a week without a vehicle. When l asked for a loaner car they terminated the deal.
I called G.M.customer service 2-23-23 and was told the situation would be reviewed.I have had no response and still have no vehicle!

I went to the GMC dealership at 2440 45th St. in Highland Indiana I I dealt with a sales representative by the name of Robert Tyree. He was very disrespectful. I am a black woman and he is a white man. I was asking him for a preview which is a print out of a certain car that I want it to submit to my grandson's estate which was purchasing me another car he went and talk to his manager and came back within a minute and a half and said they cannot do it. I explain to them. Why I needed the print out of the car that I wanted so they would know the price of the car with the taxes and with the trade-in, and if I choose that car out of three other cars that I chose at other dealerships, which gave me previews paperwork of the prices of the other cars That the check will be sent directly to them when I come in and approve that I do want the car he told me that they cannot give me that which every other dealership I went to have giving me one he told me that he cannot give me a bill of sale which that's not what I wanted because if he gives me that and they send me the check that I will spend It I never said the check was coming to me I would never ever have a check come to me the check goes directly to the dealer. He told me to pull the price off of the Internet so disrespectful he did not give me any other alternatives. His Mamager said that is a waste of there time I got up left out of there and went straight across the street to the Chevy dealer and they gave me exactly what I asked for. I sent that receipt in to my estate and I have a 2023 Chevy traverse do not go to this dealership. They are racist very disrespectful they do not help you they talk to you like you are nothing if you are not the color of them .

At this point I would not recommend anyone buy or deal with GMC. I have a 2022 Buick Encore that was in the shop for 4 months waiting on a fuel pump... the first one came in broken... there were 4 others in the shop the same time mine was waiting on the same issue. The customer care service told me I would qualify for payment reimbursement... too good to be true...: yes.... But I believed I would get it. The customer service rep told me I would and the dealership never gave me any information that said I would not. All I get now is a sorry but you don't. I am done and if I could afford to get rid of my Buick and buy something else I would. So I give a 0 rating for Buick and GMC. I buy brand new cars because I am a single mom that travels with my kids and don't expect issues with brand new cars. GMC made promises they did not keep. I keep getting misinformation.

Purchased a new 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 with SLT trim level. GMC has forced an OnStar 3 year premium plan into the base price of all GMC, Buick and Cadillac vehicles. Doesn't show cost on the window sticker but after some searching on line found out this is a cost of $1500.00. After my state and local sales taxes of 7.5% my cost for this adder is now $1612.50. After three years this plan disappears. I'm left with nothing to show for my purchase price, having no trade in or resale value to show for my $1612.50 expenditure. Looks like GM is trying to subsidize a dying OnStar. If I had known the cost of this adder I would not have purchased a GMC. If they continue this forced addition to vehicles it will have been my last GMC purchase.

Terrible GMC customer service experience. The whole gmc customer service seems set up just as simply stonewall and cover for gmc parts shortage Ponzi scheme. I bought a new 2023 Yukon which broke down around 3500 mi with a defaulty fuel injector. The repair parts are back ordered and unavailable with no ETA on the part available and have been told from one day to months to over a year; We are on week two of driving a rental mini van because no dealers have loners The gmc customer service refuses to "escalate" obtaining the part to a group "spc" within gmc that reportedly has the ability to get the part; The reason no action for two weeks, "it's gmc policy". if you like being treated like an annoyance, stonewalled by telephone consultants, and paying for a new Yukon while it sits unusable in a garage with no one to care but you....

I am deeply concerned by your hands off commercial. After 43 years as a trauma nurse, I find this an irresponsible view to give to the people. You should never be driving a vehicle when you do not have control. People clapping as they are driving hands free is the worst message you can share.

Absolutely atrocious experience in every single way. My brand new 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 Elevation has broken down 6 times with the exact same issue since I bought it. Then, the dealership lost the truck. TWICE. A 2 ton truck that won't start just got lost! When they finally did locate it, they sent us texts saying it was being worked on. Two days later, we contact them to ask what was going on and THEY DIDN'T EVEN HAVE A WORK TICKET STARTED. THEN, I contact customer service national to be helped and get forwarded and bounced around FIVE TIMES before I just gave up. I have been without a vehicle for nearly a week because they refuse to give me a loaner while they work on it. I

To be blunt: GMC's customer service seems designed to prevent you from getting the help you need and costing them money. I nearly broke down and how awful this experience has been. I would threaten to buy my vehicles from a non-GMC company from now own, but I doubt that anyone would care at GMC at this point. Nothing else seems to matter to them.

I recently purchased a new 2023 gmc sierra at4 1500,my 7th new truck in 14 years and after purchasing it noticed it didn't have a 12 volt power source for my radar detector or dash cam,went back to dealership and none of the at4 or Denalis didn't have them either and dealership didn't seem to have any information as to why the didn't have them.Are the going to be offered as a later installation as I spend a lot of time on the road and use both detector and dash cam for my own safety. THANK YOU

GMC is trash.

I purchased a 2021 Yukon Denali with 10K miles from a Hutchinson Ford (also own Hutchinson GMC). This deal sold me the vehicle without disclosing repair work that was done to the engine. Specifically as new engine replacement. The only way I found out about this issue is because the new engine replacement was done poorly resulting in a coolant leak into the oil. GM authorized a second repair on the vehicle with a second engine replacement, but decided to nickel and dime me for $550 in missing parts that they say I cannot prove were lost during the poor repair. I did not have facts to support that the poorly done repairs were the issue, but I can say that the any mechanic that poorly installs a new engine is likely to leave off a few parts. Especially if they didn't know what they were doing. Regardless, GM "customer service" contacted me with very little interest in addressing the missing parts. While I was already upset at the fact that GM would allow a GMC dealer to sell a vehicle without disclosing work, I was even more upset that GMC wouldn't fully cover the repairs.

I wouldn't recommend a GMC product to anyone. Yes, the cars are nice, but cars have issues and their service is not good. My purchase was $86K. You can get a BMW, Lincoln or Wagoneer at that cost. I know BMW and Lincoln care how they treat customers. I know BMW and Lexus don't like to see their cars down. My first experience with GM has been terrible and I am unlikely to buy with them again.

Buyer beware !!! GM Customer Service on Warranty issues is a JOKE AT BEST ! I have owned at least 5 brand new GM vehicles since 1997 and when I had problems with the transmission on my brand new 2018 SLT , always got a Chinese or Indian person speaking who could not even speak English or understand it ! And when I finally spoke to a Rep a week later ..... when I tried to contact him after the initial filing of a claim..... never responded !!! Sold the damn thing , lucky for me, sold it for more than what I paid brand new . Never buying GM again . Beware !

2021 GMC Yukon Denali XL
I bought my Yukon New off the lot Nov27th 2020 for just under $80k.
We've had it just 25 months.
Beautiful SUV, We love it.
Well we did anyway..
December 2022 Noticed a water leak.
Water is coming out of the headliner and getting on the 2nd and 3rd row seats, as well as the carpet, speakers, etc...
Went to my local GMAC Dealer / Service desk.
I had a sneaking suspicion this wasn't going to end well or make me happy.
I was told that this is common, and that happens when the sunroof drain becomes clogged.
Did some checking and found out that the drains on my vehicle are not visible.
Drain tubes are located at the back of the sunroof, beneath the second piece of glass.
By the way the second piece of glass doesn't move.
Apparently the only way to get to it is to remove the headliner.
And I was informed that this is not covered by my warranty! and I shouldn't get upset because it's just an object.
Absolutely perfect!!! Leaking wet, damp, about to mold, stink and rot.... So of course a 3 year bumper to bumper wouldn't cover it.
Why would it!!!! And why won't you purchase any of our extended warranty products. I WONDER!!

2022 Terrain, no chip was told 3-4 months in Jan, it's now October and they are ordering it, I know it's not the sales persons fault but 10 months for something I am paying for in my loan. 16500 miles had part replaced in fuel system, cloth interior has a horrible smell I am still trying to get rid of, my dealer says call service. My first and last GMC, I won't keep this car long, mad I gave up my trade in for this, I should have shopped around more. Good gas mileage, love the color, hate the inside and problems

We purchased a 2022 Terrain. Lwft on vacation and engine code came up saying fuel pump circuit. Stopped in Reno Nv and they didn't have time to look at it for 2 weeks. So asked them so you are going to strand me here. Called complaint line was told had to take it to dealer. Called neighboring town and got same results. They were nicer but same outcome. Anyway went on vacation anyway. Bought a code scanner and cleared code 4 times on trip so far. 2 weeks left and praying it keeps going. Anyway nation wide service on gmc very poor

I called stoops service in Muncie Indiana on Monday and got voicemail I said my name and phone number and asked about a foggy camera on my 2019 terrain and wondered if it could be fix or replaced I've not gotten a call back. I haven't been able to get oil changed in a reasonable time always at least 2 weeks out I go elsewhere. Poor service I have purchased 3 terrains from here I will go elsewhere to get service and trade vehicles. I guess my loyalty doesn't matter here at stoops Muncie.

Just out of curiosity did your engineers ever figure out why the 2005, 2006 and 2007 Hummer H3 5cyl had a parasitic drain? I have put five batteries in since my purchase of this 06 vehicle in 2009. If you figured it out, because the 08, 09 and 10 didn't have the drain, it would be great if you'd let us know what it was so we can fix it ourselves. I would hate to have to tell anyone not to buy one of your new electric hummer's because all they're going have is problems, but I will. The Internet and social media never disappoint when it comes to getting information out there. BTW, getting a customer service rep located in PI is NOT at all helpful. ??

Never buy a warranty from Badanai Motors or GMC . It will never be honored. We made an appt to have things which were covered on a 3000. Warranty. Absolutely nothing was done.They simply diagnosed it told us what we told them needed to be done charged us 400. And did absolutely no work!!!! We were then rudely dismissed insulted. It is obvious that they do not want to do work rightly covered as they have to wait for reimbursement. Compared to other garages the price was outrageous.

An absolutely horrible experience. Badanai motors refused to honour a 3000. Warranty. We were treated with disrespect the moment we questioned their right to steal and lie to us. We made an apot with specific requests to have items under warranty repaired. Instead they did a diagnostic which told us EXACTLY what we asked them to repair

So short story Salt Lake Valley GMC sent me a build sheet on an order with the msrp listed on the sheet. The salesman who took our order never said a word about any price adjustments to the vehicle and represented his vehicle as it was on the build sheet. 8 weeks later the truck comes in and I start asking to get a total price with my DH and taxes. At this point they came back claiming they have a mark up over msrp of 5k on there trucks.
I hope this isn't a new Business model from GMC and this is only a Salt Lake Valley GMC issue.

I purchased a 2021 Sierra 1500 in November of 2020, it currently is sitting at 20k miles and still covered by Bumper-to-bumper warranty. On 4/17/2022 I was driving down a paved road when my passenger rear tire went flat. Upon checking the tire, there was a 3-4-inch blowout on the wall of the tire. I was able to change the tire using the spare underneath, this was my first time using this tire since purchase. After winding down the tire I noticed several burn marks along the spare tire from where it sits on the frame while stored underneath; there is literally rubber burned onto the frame. This was very concerning as it is the only place to securely store a spare tire on this model of GMC truck and it is a big liability not knowing whether the spare tire is structurally safe to drive on.

4/17/22 was easter Sunday so no dealership/GMC customer service was open, on Monday morning 4/18 I called GMC to set up an appointment at Watson to have these issues repaired, they said it should all be covered under warranty (tire being a sidewall blowout not caused from "normal wear and tear"), and the spare tire defect needed inspection to calculate a fix.

I brought the truck in around 11a on 4/18 (GMC was able to escalate this due to safety concerns driving on a tire that has been burned by the frame). I worked with Tyler Fitzgibbon and Gabe Stearns who took the truck back and brought it back within an hour saying that they will not replace the spare because the dust on my truck was proof enough I was off roading, and that the burn marks across the spare is "just the way it is" in GMC and Silverado trucks. There was nothing they would do.

Let me start by saying that I have always been proud to drive GMC/Chevrolet, I purchase a new truck every few years and the way in which I have been accused for trying to get a brand new truck with less than 21k miles on it repaired for factory issues has made me never want to come back to Watson or even purchase another GMC/Chevrolet again. Tyler was new and just relaying information, but Gabe acted with complete disrespect, raised his voice at me and told me he wouldn't not do anything for me, this was an issue I needed to address with GMC and to get out of his service department. I am in awe at the way he is allowed to treat customers, especially when it comes to customers who buy brand new. Regardless of the issue, they did not offer a solution and left me to drive on an unsafe tire with no permanent or temporary fix.

I believe the spare tire issue is a factory defect that warrants its own recall, also the spare tire should be covered under bumper-to-bumper warranty as it is not from "wear and tear". This is wrong of Watson to treat customers in this fashion and Gabe should be held fully responsible for the mishandling of this case.

After escalting this to GMC executive resolution team, they took several days explaining they would find a solution and apologized for the way Watson acted. When I heard back from the executive team at GMC, they had an engineer tell me that this was perfectly fine, that's how they are designed... they are designed to burn rubber onto the frame of the truck.. it may be fine for a year.. maybe 2.. but what happens when that spare sits for longer.. this is wrong and they know it but its all about covering their own ass.

Maybe save yourself a headache and buy a Ford.

We bought our GMC Canyon in Bakersfield, Ca. We specifically told our salesman to only check with 2 banks for financing as we did not want our credit scores dinged with too many inquiries. He and the finance department completely ignored our request resulting in almost 20 inquiries thus significantly dropping our credit scores. We called numerous times and were rudely spoken to. We called numerous more times to speak to someone in charge and no one called us back. We will never buy from Bakersfield GMC nor recommend them to anyone!

Your commercial for your 2022 GMC line up are very disappointing. Your commercial showing people clapping to the music or passing other cars completely hands free is very irresponsible in todays marketplace. As it is, drivers seem to be unable to drive without one hand clutching their cell phones and actually using it while driving. The fact that you're commercial actually shows people distracted and driving the truck completely hands free is really very irresponsible and completely sending out the wrong message to the driving public. As a commercial truck driver with thousands of miles on the road every week I see the the lack of seriousness and attention that current drivers pay while behind the wheel. You're advertisement agency is doing a great disservice to the GMC brand.

Purchased 2022 map update for $100. Called 800 number for technical assistance to install thumb drive map update in my Yukon. The tech person spent 10 minutes trying to sell me another update for $275 because I paid only $100 (on sale). It had to be a counterfeit. Despite the fact I got it from GMC, I needed the $275 one. What a scam. $100 for a yearly map update is outrageous. Having a tech support team of salesmen is even worse. Last GMC I will own.

I just purchased a 2012 Acadia Denali, 2 months of having it. It decides its gonna die going down the road at 60mph, steering locks up and bout hit a tree...Thank God I didn't, but it's happened several times since and 2 weeks ago, pull out it's not changing gears. So I turn around, so I thought I was turning around and it was going to be that easy. No reverse....and that's where I am today, idk which way to turn at this point. My love for my Acadia is no more and I feel I made a huge mistake. I had saved up all summer to purchase a whst I thought was a reliable suv for me and the kids...I was wrong. Idk what I'm looking at going to the shop, probably can't afford to even fix it. But my question is, I've seen so many complaints of the engine dying and no reverse why is GM not helping the owners of the 2011
