Employees at the Sylvaia rd Toledo Ohio Goodwill is an extremely rude man w/a chip on his shoulder. I asked him to help getting a box outta my trunk & he was very RUDE (asking me how did it get in there & how is a old man like him supposed to do it), I did help him getting 1 box out of the trunk, but boy he was nasty & carried on & on. He obviously has the wrong job!

The man at the Goodwill at the donation center on Sylvania by King Sylvania Ohio was extremely rude. I donated 2 boxes & asked for help to get my boxes to donate out of my trunk. He carried on complaining the whole time about it, was very rude. Never have I delt w/such a rude person at a donation center. He was an older black man & I went at 2pm Wednesday. I hope something is done about this. I just saw him helping a car next to me so I don't know what his problem is except that he doesn't want to b here.

Just curious why you don't let people try on pants or anything yet your return policy doesn't give your money back just store credit. Your basically a naz

FYI, went to Effingham, IL store Friday, August 11th at 5:45pm to drop off 2 boxes, sign on door showed "closed". Went inside to ask if they weren't taking drop offs. Girl working register speaking softly, can't hear her. "Customer" (obviously a worker) chimes in to say store closes at 6:30 & drop off at 6. I stated "it's a quarter till!" She then turns around mumbling & basically ignoring me. According to the website this store is open till 7pm everyday?!?!?! Thought you should know.

My daughter died and she loved Goodwill. We gave many of her items to the organization including a jewelry box that was mistakenly donated. We left it Saturday evening and my other daughter went back to try to retrieve it on Sunday morning. She could see it as it had not yet been dissemenated throughout the store. The manager, Wayne, told her that he would not give it to her, he would have to file a report and get permission and would call her later that day. We are still waiting for Wayne's phone call. I called the corporate office to speak to "Drew" the person responsible for public relations... the person who answered the phone was very sympathetic, but you probably guessed it...no call back from Drew either. My daughter didn't have any really valuable items but her little treasures were important to us. The only thing that I have to say to Goodwill is "Bye, Felicia" - thanks for putting the perfect cap on what was a terrible journey. Please do not support this awful organization..

I've been shopping at my local Goodwill for several years. I've always thought it's a wonderful place because those of us who cannot afford full price can still get nice thanks I'm very upset at all of the price hikes lately. Some of the prices are more than you can buy them in a store and regular retail store and it's very frustrating and I feel like it's taking advantage of those that need help from Goodwill the most

I shop at the Goodwill store in Painesville Ohio and I'm always on the hunt for Vintage china plates, etc. I have noticed in the past month or so that the price tags for these items have really gone up considerable and would like to know why? Charging $2.91 and up for these items is going to discourage customers from buying here. This is almost double the prices I used to see. These items are donated so why price gouge the customers? The prices here are way to high. I do my homework and shop around at several stores. None of the surrounding local Goodwill stores charge this much for these items. Give us a break! I'm sure you were making a substantial income from these items at the lower prices.

I LOVE Goodwill- it's been a means of adventure and fun for me, a place to get away from lifes cares, however, I needed to express my HUGE disappointment with the shutting down ability to try on clothing- even with the extended exchange time, that doesn't actually help at all as you must exchange for yet another article of clothing you cannot try on ?
Can you please reconsider?
I can't put money into a purchase in which there no refund option if I cannot try it on first -
I believe you'll find this is not going to be profitable for your organization.
Very sad about this.

Outrageous prices in Minnesota stores (Hutchinson MN, Monticello MN)! Every time I'm shopping, I hear another customer complain about the high prices. Are you trying to run yourself out of business? Shame on you - the purpose of your stores is to provide items at a reasonable price. Everything is donated. Keep it up and your high paid executives won't a job or a exorbitant salary. And you won't have any stores.

I was at the East Norriton Pa location (on Dekalb pike) July 29th, 2023 at around 3-4 PM. I was double charged for a dress. I only got 3 items, the cashier even confirmed verbally that I had 3 items. A dress, a hairbrush, and a 2 piece dance set. I was provided with a receipt that showed the 2-piece dance set, the hairbrush, and the dress charged TWICE. When I went over to the manager of the location, I was told that I could not receive my money back. Even though this is NOT a return, the money was literally stolen from me as I was double charged for a product due to the cashiers error. I was told to contact higher-ups at the company as there is nothing she could do. I am frankly angry as the Goodwill company has stolen 12$ from me, that I need, because of a cashiers error. Everybody makes mistakes, but stealing my money and then failing to correct this mistake is horrible. It was also nearly impossible to find a way to contact Goodwill online and the store manager would not directly give me a number to contact.

I left Blue Springs Goodwill about 10 minutes ago. I got in line when they called 10 minutes. While the cashier was ringing?, I said aloud, "I'm going to try on these boots first". He is ringing, then he stops, looks at me, and said out loud, "Hurry up we don't got all night". Stunned, I said, "what", not believing what I just heard. I inserted my credit card, put the boots back, and said to him, "I can't believe you talk like that to a customer"!!! He handed my receipt and the MOD said from behind a half wall , "well, were closed and...", I stopped him. Please, know you never talk to a shopper checking out like that, I said. Oh my goodness! And I spent $60.00!!!

Vista California Goodwill on Vista Way Norma it's a terrible supervisor as she blames it on the handicap she says that they don't know how to write numbers she actually blame them I went in there to buy some merchandise one of their tags then I have a number not my fault they said 99 cents so like they say the customer is always right instead of just letting it go they made a big deal they said it was $7.99 and that's when she said that she has handicapped people working there and they don't know how to write or they forget Norma that's her name Norma Vista California supervisor terrible lady doesn't know how to treat people she's a rude rude person

The customer service is total ???. The Product I bought was clearly damaged. Sent along picture the same day received, doesn't matter much. All you're going to get is a message stating how busy they are and you're not going to get any correspondence after that. Tried three times and that's the end of shopping Goodwill on line....at least most free for them companies at least acknowledge a problem. Anyway, don't count on them, you'll be dissatisfied/dis's appointment.

I am a single mom who has been a loyal customer for years. I have recently stopped buying things as their prices have risen dramatically, why would I pay $30 for a pair of kids shoes if I can buy them new at any retail store? They are becoming my more and more like and other store. Greed Will as some people would call it. $500 for a piece of furniture, it's definitely ridiculous! The sales suck! Only one tag per week , they should develope a storewide sale on some days to downsize and bring more customers. Maybe even a buy one her one ect. They won't be able to compete over the cheaper thrift shops as customers will start looking for cheaper shops which still exist. The only reason people donate is because they are still unaware of what occurs , as well as they want to rid cluttered areas of their homes.

WHO IS GETTING BANK OFF GOODWILL PRICES??
Now it's common for 12-14$ dresses?? Scratched up cheaply made end tables for 10-50$?

In what world is this okay-it's donated and used items. Get it together goodwill.

I'm at the Raytown, MO Goodwill. They closed the changing rooms at 5:47pm !! About 4 of us had been waiting. Why???
The last time I was here I was told they were closed and I couldn't enter. The time was 7:14pm. Though I tried to sweet talk the employee, they just said no.
Why does this Goodwill treat the customers so unfriendly??
Same manager tonight as before. The store in Lee's Summit, MO is soooo friendly and customer oriented!! I wish I had taken the extra time to drive there. Why doesn't management fix the issues at THIS store?? If anyone actually cares how this store is run, please contact me!!! Thank you!

I think their price is outrageous, they're being greedy along with the economy. That's why it's the second hand store. Everything is totally given to them freely. And they're charging like they went out and bought the items themselves. If it was not for the donations, then they wouldn't have a business even I myself have donated quite a few things you have a good condition.I think it's ridiculous and I something should be done about it.

Yesterday I was at the Kitchener branch in Weber st. and one of the cashiers was so aggressive and mean to me.
I tried calling them later to tell the store manager and I think he was the one on the phone as well so once I started telling him what happened he hung up on me.

Goodwill Cortez rode, Bradenton Florida 34210.
Does not make good on their return policy. Lately Goodwill has gone mad. They have gone waa up on their prices for their used items. Often times these used item are just unusable. It would seam that they are aware of this factor since their return police often changes at their convince depending on the consumer they are faced with at the time of return; their return policy of a full refund changes if the consumer elect not to return these broken itemstoo frequently to the store.

They often sell unusable items for some of the following reasons due to the stores fault. Here just a few I have encountered since I frequent the store and have been for many years.

Shoes and beddings items are often misssized.

Items of broken or unused goods not excluding electrical items are packaged up and labeled
(this item will not be sold if opened) however, once you arrive home and open your package it is not discribed as it is on the box it was packaged in,
the packaged item color may be an off color or is not as discribed or labeled on the package.

Their products are often Dry rotted in the box, or the item may not work at all.

If these items are sold "as is"/ used why not allow the consumer to examin the item prior to purchasing? especially since their return policy only applys to consumers who might find these tacticks used by the store to motervate the sales of their high priced items to the consumer.

It do find this tacticks to be unethical, illmoral and tacticks the customer into purchasing items they may not really feel is worth the purchase.
What a rip off!

Management often lie to the consumer to get them to hold on to those over priced junk item they cannot sell otherwise and encourage them not to bring them back to thir store to make good on the promise to return for a full refund for especially electrical products that do not work.

Instead of management making good of their return policy for electrical items management will offer go against their policy and I for enforce upon the consumer an in-store credit instead.

I shop alot for new item in other stores as well as I shop at Goodwill for hard to find items I can use. Goodwill in the past have stood for the consumer who may be having a hardship at the time but, now their just ripping off the consumer.

I often find over priced item that are marked $3 to $5 below than the going rate in regular stores. Plus your not able to examin these used item that may be damaged and or you can return unworkable items to the store for a refund as they clame.

Shame on you Goodwill!
