When making a small dollar amount purchase at a self checkout, the lady associate told me I was on the wrong register, that it would not accept cash. I said a million dollar operation and only one self checkout accepted cash??. She then tells me "its not my problem " they only pay me to work here" .
I simply said I imagine so, and shook my head.
She seemed to be upset because she had to void an 87 cent purchase. I didn't see the reason to pay this by a card.

Lowes customer service is THE WORST I have dealt with in decades. It's always over an hour to talk to anyone, then they usually transfer you to another over an hour wait, then you have to go to the local store and get the store manager to get things resolved which their customer service screws up again. UGH....

having not been informed that two water filters which I had ordered were ready fort pick up, today I got a "final warning" that if I did not attend at the Plymouth Meeting Lowes TODAY the filters would be returned to the supplier. When I arrived at the pick up counter it took several minutes to get the attention of the staff, who seemed more interested in looking at their screens than interacting with a live person. After scanning the order number i was was told that the filters were "in the back" and someone would have to go and find them. By now I was 7 or 8 minutes into what should have been a pick up and leave experience. Ten minutes later the person who had been sent to "Aisle 1 Bay 5" to fetch the two filters came back empty handed and asked "Jonah" the person with whom I was interacting for more information. At this point I had wasted 15 to 16 minutes on a simple pick up, so I asked "Jonah" to cancel the sale. Frankly I would rather pay more and deal with Home Depot or Walmart or an on line seller than endure the brain damage which comes from dealing with Lowes

The Midland store Customer Service needs training on customer service
On Monday 7/10 I purchased 2 doors in stock for pu between the 10th and 17th and provided 2 names. My person went there tues and waited 30 m8n before being told the doors wouldn't be in until the 17th. Never read the order. I spoke to the floor a d he made sure doors were put behind cs desk area. I phoned today to be sure they would be available at 2:00 for pu. Cs transfered me back to the floor, again not looking up the order when I specifically asked her to. The floor trans me back to cs and I asked why she didn't look up the order and she said she was confused. I asked her to look behind her to verify they were there and she acknowledged. She never tried to look the order up.

Lowes appliance warranty has to be the worst!! Do yourself a favor and do not buy Samsung washer or any other appliances from Lowes!! Awful customer service!!

I've had some good in store customer service at Lowes Bluffton and some horrible customer service. The worst is the phone. They never answer even when you ask for the manager. After awhile it just disconnects and you have to start all over again. When they do answer, they don't even let you talk but just put you back on hold again! Im actially trying to place an order! Horrible!

I purchased 17" Project Source toilet on May 29, 2023. I'm very disappointed with your product and your customer service. This toilet has leaked from day of installation, it is leaking from tank to bowl valve ring. My serviceman has removed it 5 times, checking to make sure there wasn't a hairline crack (no cracks). He has replaced valve with a stronger heavier valve ring; still leaking. Today I order all new guts and waterproof glue. I'll fix it one way or another. IM telling everyone who will listen about this product and about this Lowe's store. I called Lowe's on Silver Dr., Columbus, OH. I was told I would have to return the toilet to manufacturer. I CAN NOT do this, I'm 78years old and on a fixed income and can afford to send something this size anywhere. I asked customer service name of manager, she would not give the name and put me on hold for 58 minutes, then I hung up. This should have been a 1, 2, 3 installation process. I have to keep toilet turned off until ready to use and the 1 st day of installation my floor flooded. Which means my floor could be comprised. The day I purchased the toilet, I also purchased a new storm door and sump pump and was told we had to go through self check out. After voicing my feelings, I was sent through your service desk. To be told this after spending over $500.00 is incredibly stupid on your stores part. This used to be my favorite store. I feel this store does not care about helping your customers.
The exception to this rule is the garden department, the are wonderful and will to help if it's needed. I would give garden center a "10". The rest of the store maybe a poor "4". Wise up, there are to many stores in our area , with same products. I doubt this review will never see light of day.

A very bad experience at Lowes. In Redlands California my wife and I experienced racial and rudeness at cashier. I am a 27 year military veteran and I haven't felt so much hate in my worldwide travel. Hopefully corporate reads this and talk to the checkout personnel.

I guess your wenatchee store don't need my money.went in to get something I just looked up online. Asked two people where to fine it. They both told me I was wrong. And made me feel stupid for asking. And it was only online. Instead of looking it up. Told me no don't have. So looked for a bit and found it.so guess lowes don't need our money.bet home depot would take the time to find it. Oh. Plus worked for lowes for 7 years. We took the time with our customers. And made budget every month. You people really went down. Could not walk me over to it. Thanks for nothing. I will be sure to pass this on to everyone in wenatchee. Like really don't need our money to stay open.

You read and hear about elderly being scammed by individuals and fake companies, but this elderly veteran got scammed by a large company named LOWE'S!
They sold me on a job I really didn't need, used a FRADULENT permit to do the job. Refused to take equipment back and refund my money after I lost a sale on my home. They ignored arbitration even though their contract recommends it. Lowe's ignored the BBB when I filed a complaint with them. It took Lowe's 9 months to correct the permit. When their 10 month old equipment broke down, it took them 4 months to repair it. Is this a company you want to do business with? I left them and have convinced a number of people to do the same.

During an Area wide power outage, we stood in the Lowe's store #215 for 7 hours waiting for a generator delivery that was supposed to be at the Store by 4 pm. After receiving the generator and getting it home I noticed it did not come with the cables that it was advertised to have. I contacted the store and was told to just use regular extension cords and they would get me replacement cords. Six days later the store is acting like they have no idea what is going on and they will again contact me. The only generator they offered was one that they do not normally carry. they specially ordered these as much area was without power. They stated they ordered 200 and received 184. A person named Jennifer stated on my third call to the store that there were others that were missing cords as well. She stated that a manager named Eric was handling the issue and took my name and number again to give to him. After no call from Eric I again contacted the store and was sent to an associate named Brent. Brent listened and put me on hold to speak to Eric. Brent returned to the call and stated Eric had no idea about this issue and I was told that Jennifer was on lunch and would get back to me if she remembered speaking to me. Guess what no call!!! Lowe's took my money for the Briggs and Stratton 6250 storm responder generator and I guess I am just screwed on the cords. Real professional!! Guess I have to go to Social Media to get a response from them. They knew the area was in trouble and yet ordered one of the more expensive units that they do not even regularly carry. Sound like corporate greed!! Took full advantage of the customers in their time of need and gouged them all. Nice work Lowe's!! nice work! I have tried to remain faithful to Lowe's due to their still honoring our Military service, but i believe this has taken the cake. Very disrespectful!!!

Called owensboro ky store and was on hold 2 times over 20 minutes called evansville east side store and left my phone no 4 hrs later nothing wanted to get ge refrigerator pvd28bynfs 2999.00 bad customer service called local company and they answered bought from them

Seriously, I dread every time I have to go into a Lowe's, their customer service is basically non-existent. Employees tell me they're new like that's supposed to relieve them of knowing anything. I call them on the phone and get some robotic automated answering service and get put on hold for 7 minutes until I hang up and dreadfully have to call back. I finally get a live person on the phone who tells me they have the product I'm looking for on aisle 2 in the garden area. I drive there and the gardening door is closed so I have to go back over to the main entrance? That's fine, so I go looking up upon aisle 2 and look for the item. They don't have it on those shelves, so I drive over to Home Depot and I get greeted by a person who asks me what I'm looking for and they tell me exactly what row it's on and what Bay it's on. I'm in and out of there with my item quickly Lowes is clueless.

I'm live in Houston,TX I waited on telephone line over 1 hour & 30 minutes for an associate to come on the line because I was having issue with appliance order I was trying to place online but no one ever picked up Telephone to answer my question. I gave up discontinued call.

The worst customer service in town. First, it is impossible to reach anyone from Lowe's by phone. I made a mistake purchasing a refrigerator from Lowe's I have been lied to and deceived. I was told the refrigerator was in stock, 3 weeks later and no refrigerator.
I will never do business with Lowe's again. I an now starting a complete remodel. Do yourself a favor, use
HOME DEPOT for less stress.

Opened a new Lowes CC to take advantage of the associated discount on a large purchase. The new CC declined the charges because they weren't sure it was me. So I ordered again, but the new total did not reflect the discount. On the phone now (for the last hour and 48 minutes) to speak with someone. Getting ready to give up and cancel the order.

Ordered filters for our air-conditioner. Show pick up date as July 6th. Get an email saying filters have been shipped. Very next day get an email saying the order has been canceled. No reason why. Called the number on the email. They were closed. Said they open at 6 the next morning. Call back. Still closed will open at 8 the next morning. Call back again. Still close will open at 8:30.call back at 8:30 and have over 1 hour wait. Finally talk to "customer care". Told the order was supposed to have been on the delivery truck this past Monday. For what ever reason it was not on the truck. So LOWES CANCELED the order and advised me to reorder. Well that will not happen. They have proved time and time again they have no idea what is going on in that company. So incompetent they should just close down.

My husband and I purchased quartz countertops from Lowe's in April. Signature stone poorly cut the hole for the sink with a significant chip in it as well as a chip in the hole cut for the faucet. During their first attempt at installation they broke our sink and got epoxy all over the cupboards and left the mess for us to clean up after less than an hour on the premises. We filed a complaint and disputed the balance due requesting a $400 credit which countertops made easy agreed to back in May. It was nearly another month before they came back to attempt to finish the job. They never attempted to repair the chips in the quartz nor did they attempt to fix the miscut on the counter next to our dining room wall and did a poor job trying to caulk it. Then adding insult to injury the installers toldy husband that they heard about our complaint regarding the poor install job and chips and breaking of our sink and in retaliation for the complaint got dark black adhesive on our newly painted cupboard wall while putting in the new replacement sink and never addressed the chip they caused in the hole cut for the sink in the countertop. We refused to sign off on this shabby and incompetent installation of our quartz countertops and damaged quartz and cupboards which they did not address except to proceed to smear the black adhesive with paint thinner. I once again contacted countertops made easy Danielle hicks who stated that she would forward emails and photographic evidence to her boss Shannon who ultimately made the decision to not address my concerns and refused to increase the price adjustment for all the damages to more than the initial $400 which only addressed the epoxy on the counters and the broken sink but not the chips in the quartz nor the black adhesive on the cupboard wall I will agree to pay the balance due LESS $800 (I was refused the 1500 I secondarily requested be credited due to the damages over and above the broken sink and epoxy mess). Please send me an adjusted invoice for $800 less than the initial balance due and I will pay right away. Thank you for your thoughtful consideration.

Purchased a Blackstone griddle online and received an email that it was ready for pickup. Got to the Schertz, TX location and they couldn't find it. So instead they pulled the floor model that was already assembled and dirty and scratched up. I asked if it was a floor model and they said no but it had the stickers and all that proved it was a floor model. They didn't offer a discount or anything. I'll be shopping elsewhere from now on! That's the worst experience I have ever had at a Lowes store.
