I never write about customer service or a store so this is a rare moment for me. I am so baffled by Lowes and the way they are treating their customers!
I wanted to order some closet doors and a mirrored closet door but in all my years of dealing with stores have I never MEEVER been treated so poorly!
The Lebanon store lied and gave me the run around and said they couldn't sell me doors with inaccurate measurements from their installation company they use. We went over this twice with them coming to measure and then I decided to use the lake Ozark Lowes and they sent the same guy out again to measure! The guy from Summit didn't even want to come in because he'd been there twice before! Then Lowes tells me they can't put the order in until it's put in their system! I'm trying to get the order in before a certain date for the special financing and still haven't heard from them! What's going on with Lowes?

Delivery contact couldn't speak English, didn't communicate what time we'll. It was a 4-7pm time delivery appointment they got to my home at 10pm. OUTRAGEOUS THE ATTITUDE THE DELIVERY DRIVER HAD.

Went to Lowes this morning to look at and potentially buy a vacuum cleaner. Found one that was on sale and took it the cashier out in the garden center cause that was where we parked. The vacuum rang up at the original price I told the cashier that was incorrect but he completes the transaction anyway and my card has now been charged. I again told him that was incorrect and he flagged down another Lowes associate and asked my husband to go with him to see what the pricing should be. The cashier now told me I had to go to "customer service" using the term very loosely and have them credit my card. I went to the customer service desk and explained what happened and was without exact words. Accused of trying to commit fraud. I was SO insulted!! And the a second customer service person chimed in and said I'll just walk back and see if your husband and the Lowes associate are back there. Neither called the cashier I mentioned to verify my story. In the meantime my husband went out to the gate den center where he thought I was. The second customer service person came back from the vacuum area and with a very snotty and accusing tone said I didnt see anyone back there. At that moment I called my husband as he walked up with the vacuum With the sale sticker attached to the box. I asked tge customer service person how long it will take for the funds to go back on my card and she answered simply how am I supposed to know. I told my husband we are not buying the vacuum I don't buy from stores that accuse people of fraud so easily. I want to mention that we visit this Lowes at Least! Once a week to purchase items. I was so insulted and mad over both customer service girls and their snotty!!! Attitudes. I also want to add that I am in customer service and would NEVER treat a customer the way I was treated.

Purchased refrigerator, it was delivered incomplete; returned to the store twice, they acknowledge verbally but didn't do anything nor did I get any updates; called customer service, again the same. Cordial service, but terribly ineffective and useless!

Very rude cashier in garden section of Lowes in Flowood. As Monica was checking me out, she found an item that did not have a tag and told me if I wanted it I'd have to go get one with a tag. Not her, or one of the at least 4 other Lowe's employees standing around doing nothing, but me, the handicapped customer. She rudely said "I can't leave". Very disappointed.

I purchased a refrigerator and they delivered it yesterday by a 3rd party. They said that they couldn't get it up the steps and would leave it in my garage and come back later. After 5 PM I called the store 5 times . No one was kind enough to return my calls. up . No one ever showed up. Today I called and they said they couldn't get anyone out until Saturday to get it into my kitchen.Very poor service and poor customer service. Please don't buy an appliance from this store especially if you expect deliver.

I have purchased almost everything in my home for the last 20 years. At one time they were very helpful. 2 years ago I purchased 7 appliances and protection plan from Lowe's and need service on a 2 1/2 yr old dishwasher. The store for some unknown reason cancelled the plan on just the dishwasher. No one in any department can help or knows what happened. They told us to buy another dishwasher!!!!!

I purchased a small grill and Lowe's was supposed to put it together on Tuesday 7/25/23. I called the store in Allen Park MI to find out if the grill was ready on 7/26/23. I was told yes. My nephew went to pickup the grill and it was not ready and they told me the person who assembles items had not reported to work. Well all the person had to do was say it was not ready. They could have saved my nephew a trip for nothing. You have lousy customer service.

Already added my negative comments. DO NOT SHOP AT LOWES FOR MAJOR APPLIANCES. There is no customer support. My issue was a "new" refrigerator which was delivered previously used and not working. I had to pay a technician to come out and "fix" the ice maker.

I needed help in plumbing. Employee pointed out area to look and walked away. I have shopped Lowes for ever. Now going to Menards. I also so your policy on new firing employees on shop lifting. I am done with Lowes.

Im learning the same people who manage the milk shake machine at McDonalds must also maintain the saw at Lowes because is NEVER working! Im not 100% sure I believe them at my location in Bloomington, IL. Yesterday when I was in there they said it was broken. I just needed a sheet cut in two places because my truck is broken and its very difficult to haul on the roof of a smaller SUV. The person said the machine is broken and wont turn on. I offered him $100 if he would turn the power on right then in front of me. I said turn it on and if its really broken I will give you $100 cash right now. Funny he didnt have time to turn a switch on. So I twisted my back getting the sheet on the roof and strapped on. In fact I had to spend $50.00 on new ratchet straps just to hold down this plywood because they couldnt take a few minutes to cut it down.

Lowe's store in Wetumpka,Al. No cash registered open( I don't work for you checking myself out). Not ONE employee in store could rekey a new lock( not even manager) on a Saturday. No parking close to door. 6 places for call pickup is never full,but wasted space. Covid is over,act like .. I'm driving 30 mile to a Home Depot today and forever more.

I have a new fridge...in my entryway. It has been there for almost 11 hours now. The old fridge is also in the entryway. Want to guess where my food is? If you said "in the trash" you are correct. Lowes deliverers/installers dropped off the fridge and promised to be back in an hour to get the old fridge while hooking up the new one. Numerous calls to customer service later and all I have to show for it is full garbage bags. Empty promises and empty apologies are all I've heard so far. I will never shop with Lowes again!

Lowe's Customer Care is very difficult to contact and extremely unhelpful. There Customer Care Managers do not return calls (after they say they will) and make promises they cannot keep. They are constantly blaming their 3rd party delivery service but do nothing to rectify the situation. Currently, on hold (over 90 min) trying to talk to someone in Customer Care. Lowes has missed their 4th promise delivery date. We have lost food and have been thru so much time and stress trying to get this situation resolved. Recommend never using Lowe's for appliance purchases. Will probably not use them to remodel kitchen since they are such a difficult company to deal with.

I really like Lowes, however my recent experience of ordering online was the worst experience I had with Lowe's. I ordered a 48" zero turn mower from Lowe's in mid May. The Dale City Lowes was fulfilling store. They were supposed to deliver it to my home at the end of June. I called several times to check on the status. Calling the Dale City store was a major event. I finally got through, they said it would be delivered the following week. I aked if I could pick it up. I drove down with my trailer. They loaded it up and I went home. The mower would not fit through places I had measured. I looked at the model and it was a 54". I would have kept the bigger mower but it would not fit through several places in my yard. I took it back to the Dale City store. The said the had a 48" in stoce. They took the 54" mower back. They brought the 48" mower out on a dolly to load on my trailer. The mower would not start. One of the representatives said it was a return. The store manager spent over an hour doing the return and ordering a new 48 inch mower. She was very nice and polite. She said she would expedite the delivery. Lowe's delivered the 48" mower. The deleted the same broken mower they tried to get me to take from the store. The armrest with the controls was broken and the did no leave s key to run the mower. I have been trying to get Lowe's to pick up the broken mower and deliver a new mower for several weeks. The Dale City Lowes does not answer the phone. I have spent several hours trying to get someone to answer the phone. This is the worst experience wit Lowes. I would not recommend anyone shopping at the Dale City Lowes. I have been on hold for over a hour and a half. The first 22 minutes was letting the phone ring. Poor service

A Plea for Accountability: Rock Shop and Lowe's Series of Unforgivable Failures

This letter serves as both an urgent warning and a call for accountability for anyone considering services from Rock Shop and Lowe's and for its managers. The series of mistakes, negligence, and an egregious disregard for customer service that I have experienced from these companies is shocking and utterly disgraceful.

The torrent of failures began in November 2022, when I decided to order countertops from Rock Shop through Lowe's. The first issue surfaced immediately when Lowe's delivered incorrectly sized cabinets. This initiated a domino effect of delays that disrupted the entire process, from template creation to the eventual countertop installation.

The culmination of these delays was a poorly executed installation in July 2023, where the measurements of the countertops were grossly incorrect. Rock Shop, promising a quick solution, cancelled on the day of the second installation. When they finally returned for a third attempt, the measurements were even more inaccurate, showcasing their continuous and appalling lack of competence.

Throughout this chaotic situation, Lowe's Kalamazoo and Traverse City demonstrated an egregious lack of responsibility, consistently deflecting blame onto Installation Made Easy and Rock Shop. Amidst all this, the installation company was a beacon of professionalism in a sea of chaos.

Compounding these issues, an employee at Lowe's Kalamazoo displayed an unacceptable level of condescension. Disturbingly, he even insinuated that I could be sued by Rock Shop, a suggestion that left me reeling. Furthermore, he and another employee threatened to cut off communication if I mentioned litigation.

In this bleak landscape, two employees from the Kalamazoo Branch, seemed willing to help, but they were hamstrung by a wall of internal policies and accomplished little.

At this point, my demands are twofold. Firstly, my countertops need to be correctly installed. Secondly, I believe I deserve financial compensation from Lowe's for the time wasted, the stress endured, and the gross negligence demonstrated throughout this process.

As a gay, multicultural couple, we chose Lowe's over Home Depot, believing we shared similar values. Unfortunately, this experience has shown us that, in the end, it's better to be treated with respect by someone we disagree with than to be ignored and disrespected by those we thought would be on our side.

In conclusion, my experience with Rock Shop and Lowe's has been nothing short of a nightmare. Potential customers should heed this cautionary tale; the risk of enduring such a level of frustration, stress, and blatant disregard for customer service is far too high. It is time these companies were held accountable for their actions.

I wish I had checked Lowe's out before buying their flooring and having it installed by their Service Pro.It's been a nightmare from the beginning,and 2 weeks into it still a problem.You are on your own if there is a problem.Practically impossible to talk to anyone,or have your calls returned.Find a reputable flooring company that speaks English for flooring, Lowe's is definitely not that!!Prepare to go to battle if you chose Lowe's

I will NEVER walk into a Lowe's again. I don't care if it's for a light bulb. I've been waiting almost 2 wks for my drier to be hooked up. They delivered the drier & no gas line (that I paid for). Then they send guys to deliver the drier that don't know HOW to hook it up. Now they tell me they can't help me. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!! I'll NEVER RECOMMEND THEM FOR ANYTHING. So sad that you spend that much on something & are told they can't help

I am not an employee of Lowe's. I don't care to be a cashier when I come to Lowe's. Today I went to Lowe's to buy some foundation vents for my home and will not return. I refuse to play cashier while someone getting paid stands there and does nothing but watch me do it. No thank you, I will be going to Home Depot from now on or anywhere else that doesn't mind servicing their customer!

Lowe's Shawnee, KS. Person in Garden Center was crude, rude and obnoxious. Talked down to me as if he were a parent speaking to a child. Give that person a 1 out of 10. His Boss did explain the situation but his People Skills were also lacking. Is good help getting hard to find? I'm not sure Lowe's cares how their customers are treated.
