I want to applaud the pepboys at decker blvd in columbia sc! I had a near flat travelling home on a five hour drive and I was terified that it being a Sunday almost 6 pm that I would surely be stranded! I called them and a polite and helpful employee by the name of reggie moore calmed me down and assured me they'd stay late to change my tire. The complete service was fast courteous and affordable! I told reggie he was my hero!

We had the pleasure of shopping at Pep Boys in Henrietta, New York today. First we dealt with Rusty who helped us pick out wheels for my truck. He showed us pictures online, and also the ones on display, answered all of our questions with a smile on his face and was MORE than friendly, courteous and professional. He ordered the ones we chose and told us to expect a phone call within a few days from him to set up an installation app't. From there, we spotted tonneau covers and John the manager came over and answered the questions we had on those. It turned out the one we decided to buy was in stock. I asked if it was easy to install ourselves, and he said it was so easy that HE would install it FOR us in the parking lot! Sure enough, we pulled our truck up to the front door and out he came with our purchase, tools in hand, and helped my husband install it!!!!! John, by the way offered to install it BEFORE I told him that my husband had just had recent surgery. We can't believe the above and BEYOND service we received today, and HIGHLY recommend this store!!!!!!!!

People complain when poor service occurs. It's wonderful when people actually show customer care. This was my experience at the PepBoys in Bpt, CT. I went in for an oil change, which they completed and kept me informed. Little did I know a pre-existing condition would almost completely ruin my day. The employees went above and beyond to try to remedy the situation but given the nature, it had to be taken to the dealership. I tried to turn it over myself shortly after, a problem with the ignition and lever. They advised me well. After an hour I finally called for a tow. Brian, the manager and Marvin were the only remaining souls who patiently waited, smiled and helped the tow get the car out of the bay onto the flatbed. I am thankful and am an official PepBoys fan - of the Boston Ave store. Thank you gentlemen!

To support the American Cancer Society, my Relay for Life team the Sassy Cats had a fundraiser at Pepboys in Willow Grove a month ago, and we had an amazing time. My team captain called Walter and asked if we could do it on Saturday May 11th and after he talked to his manager Ken he said that we could. When we got there Walter supplied us with everything we needed for the carwash. He gave us buckets, sponges, a lot of soap, and things that we could charge people extra for such as tire shine, and air fresheners. He also allowed us to set up a bake sale on the sidewalk next to the building. We spent hours there having a great time and raising money for the American Cancer Society. After five hours of washing cars and selling baked goods my team raised over $400! We couldn't have done it without Walter, Ken, and the Pepboys staff. We would like to thank everyone for their help and donating the supplies and part of the parking lot to us so that we could raise the money. Thank you for all your help and support!

Had an exceptional experience at the Pep Boys at 2220 W. International Speedway Blvd, Daytona Beach, FL 32114. Got tires and front-end alignment. My 2001 Chrysler T&C never drove better. Car is now very tight and no front-end vibrations or pulling. I spoke with several technicians there and each one was courteous and knowledgeable. Management is respectful, friendly, and helpful. I highly recommend this Pep Boys - great experience.

On May 30,2013 as I was driving from NJ to NC my car began to make a funny noise and I had problems stopping. Long story short I was terrified to drive anymore so I got off an exit in Wilmington DE and a security officer recommended I go to Pepboys because it sounded like my brakes. Now I had just picked my car up from a Midas on NJ where they told me I was okay to drive home to NC. Come to find out my rear brake shoes had broken off from being so disgustingly old that they were just rolling around in my drums. So not having Much money and still having 7:45 mins to go until I get home the Manager Rob Cox and the Mechanic Ivan Castro said they will take care if me. And they did. Even though it was close to closing and Ivan was headed out the door at 6, these two gentlemen stayed until 10:45-11 pm to fix my brakes and they did it with smiles even though I knew they were ready to go. I didn't feel like I was being a burden and they didn't rush to get out. That was the BEST customer service I've ever received in any state. And for that I thank you.

I recently had my 2007 Chevy Malibu in the Casa Grande,AZ location for a fuel sensor problem. I feel that they went over and above the call of duty to replace the fuel pump/sensor/filter. The first two that they put in did not work so they contacted their Regional Manager to get permission to purchase one from the Chevy dealer. That one worked and I was not charged any extra for the more expensive fuel pump. They were very kind and helpful to both myself and my husband. Apparently the other two pumps were from a bad batch from the manufacturer and the pumps were built backwoods! Many, many thanks for a caring crew at Casa Grande. They will always have my business in future.

i would like to say that i always receeive great service from the pepboys location at2002 northwest hiway in garland texas. the servive manager Luis Delgadillo always tends to my needs in a timely manner. i have nothing but high praise for their work.the dont try to sell you things you dont need or ask for. Great job guys keep up the good work and i will continue to be a customer

BEST AUTOMOTIVE PARTS AND S E R V I C E anywhere!! On Saturday, 12-22-2012, I stopped at the PEP BOYS AUTOMOTIVE SUPERCENTER in Corpus Christi, TX. I needed a Fuel Pump and Spark Plug Wire Set for a 30 year old car. I got the very BEST HELP from "SAMMI" AND "LETTICA". THANK YOU PEP BOYS.

There are several other large automotive chain stores in the area. BUT for years I have found PEP BOYS to offer the BEST SERVICE and PARTS!! THANK YOU PEP BOYS!!!

I've been wanting to write this for a couple of days now: Last friday around 10 AM I called store number # 103 and inquired about purchasing an air filter for my 2009 Nissan Cube, and I wanted it installed. I had the pleasure of speaking with Louis a Customer Care Specialist at the store. Louis took my order and told me he would have to call another store to get the filter and call me right back. To my surpriose he called back and I made an appointment to come in, knowing I would have to wait around to have my car serviced. To my delight Louis was at the store, as promised with the part. He slipped the filter in and I was in and out. This guy is on the ball! His friendly reassuring manner was a pleasure to do business with, and best of all he kept his word. PROMOTE THIS GUY AND GIVE HIM A RAISE! I wish I could clone him. You have a valuable asset there and please do not forget it. From now on Pep Boys is my go-to spot for all my car needs. I am writing this e-mail in reguards to the excellent service I received at Pepboys store #268 on Monday Sept 10. Charles helped and guided me in the right decisions on my vehicle and Terence Eastburn and others actually all employees of that store aided and assisted me. I consider them professionals at their jobs and A-1 at customer service. I am and will be a new customer and so will friends and relatives having such a good . My Mother and I came to you with a tire that was leaking. The first time we went the lady up front was very nice and helpful. They fixed the tire for free and we left. Unfortunutly it was not fixed so we took it back and they fixed it this time. The customer service was great they were friendly and fast.thank you

Had 2 new tires put on the front of my Toyota Tacoma truck on 5/31/12. I returned on 6/4/12 because of vibration in the front end. The mechanics adjusted again. The vibration was still there. I returned again on 6/5/12, they adjusted it again. The vibration is better but is still there. The Manager and the mechanics were all great, please advise what else I can do.

I had a very positive experience working with the Pep Boys in Willow Grove, PA. Holly and Ryan were very easy to work with. It's not often I come out of an auto place feeling relief and not feeling like I just got taken for a ride.

I was traveling from Savannah Georgia to San Antonio Texas this weekend until my battery completely died in Baton Rouge Lousiana. The only thing within a mile of my truck was Pepboys. I went in there and told a gentleman by the name of Benny Warner (Service Manager #208) about what happened. He not only picked the cheapest tool set that I now keep in my truck but also took the time to go to where my truck was located and changed the battery for me with no charge. I'm in the Army and have served my country for 19 1/2 years. Mr. Warner's kind attitude and customer service needs to be recognized accordingly. Also, thanks to the tool set, I had a tire on my boat shred completely off in Texas. That tool set came in handy. Thanks again.

I have been a Pep Boys Customer and one-time shareholder for more than 15 years. Although there have been a few issues with Pep Boys, overall I have found them to be most helpful, cost effective and straight foreward. Especially towards the female members of my family. This is the reason that I bought their stock-they treat female customers with respect, which is more than I can say for the competition.

Thank you Nicholas Ockey, Service Mgr @ 2424 N.Scottsdale Rd, S'dale AZ.
He made my day, my week and my month. I had only just had a nasty altercation with a hostile manager at the local carwash which had broken the housing and the glass of the drivers sideview mirror of my 89year old mom's car as she spruced up the vehicle on her way to church this morning.
We had to get the mirror repaired so it would be safe for her to drive!
Not knowing anything about the previous customer service incident, Mr. Ockey said he'd attempt to fix the mirror for us if we could give him an hour and a half. We could.
Over a snack, we walked up the block to enjoy, I told her, "You have to be prepared to pay 1.5 hours of labor for this repair, you know."....and she said, "I know, but we can't do it ourselves."
When we arrived back at the Pep boys store; the mirror was replaced and Nick Ockey gave us the keys and said there was no charge, it was a customer service repair!
He didn't even charge us for the glass!!
Now, over lunch, I had grumbled and suffered over the shouting match I had had with the rude and stubborn car wash manager...and I wondered what ever happend to customer service in this country! I have spent many decades in business, and I always had to be willing to go the extra mile for the customer...right or wrong. We reminisced at length over how it "used to be"....
and when we walked back into Pep Boys....Nick Ockey PROVED that, at least right here where he has something to say about it....that which capital america has always stood for; honor the customer and give full value (and then some),is still the way it IS.
I hope this note gets to the highest levels. This man is good for your organization...he should be promoted & recognized for the way he handled the situation. It was brilliantly done; we were completely prepared to PEE AYE WAI...shell out 75 dollars or so...who knows? And when he made the repair as a customer service gesture....he put your company right up there with "proud to be American"....I knew we weren't sinkin like a rock, as most of the news would lead us to believe.
Thank you Nicholas Ockey, for restoring my peace of mind from the earlier fight with the carwash dude...and restoring my confidence in the marketplace doing business the American way!
The difference between the potential profit on the small job....and the certain return on the goodwill and word of mouth advertising that will come from this transaction is, as the commercial says, priceless, thanks to Nick Ockey. Please pass this upward!!!
