i called one man in there and asked him to give me transfer pin so i can move to other provdier but he shut down my system immediately then i cant call them any more..so bad and rude

I am upset with the outcome! I was a customer of safelinks for about a month. I have an ex who hacked my phone. I first did the chat option to tell them what happened, and instead of understanding, I basically was in an arguement with who ever I was chatting with. S/he insisted that the phone could NOT get hacked. I disagreed and explained why I think it was hacked. It seemed as if s/he just didn't want to believe me. So I ended that convo and decided to give a phone call and speak to a live person. I told the person who answered my call the same thing and she insisted the same thing. She asked what reasons gave me the idea that my phone was hacked. I told her, there are places on MapQuest I never visited, searches I have never searched AND the person who did it told me he did. She then advised me to do a factory reset. I told her I do it about every day. Then she suggested to buy a new phone and get a new phone number. I did. I received the phone and called to get the new number but realized that the hacker was listening. So I had to wait days to do this because I wanted to use the phone at my job. I called every night for 3 days and no one could give me a new phone number for my new phone for some reason! On the 4th night, the person who helped me MISUNDRSTOOD ME and put the old number on my new phone...which means the hacker got a hold of the new phone information and hacked it right away! I have not even used the new phone AT ALL! I have called to see if I could exchange the phone for the reason said. As I told the person who answered that I don't mean to be rude or disrespectful because my situation isn't one of the normal problems. She seemed receptable and we continued. I told her the situation and she said I could exchange the phone but need to get my account number and status. She then transferred me to a different department and as I was telling him the situation. I heard nothing. I was disconnected. As I was just about in tears, I called back and the recording said the SAFELINKS was closed!
I at wits end with this and SAFELINKS! I don't know what to do. I have no extra money to buy another phone(which the hacker hacked my son's phone and my laptop!) I don't have a phone to use( which I need for work)and I don't have data or service! I am at a loss and oh, so frustrated! I want to exchange this new phone...but need it done, like yesterday!!!
What do I need to do to get this phone exchanged and get it delivered over night!!??

I just would like this to all end!
I would like to exchange the new phone for the same model but a complete different phone and sent over night, I need a phone asap for work!!
And since the government is ending all low income services, to just end my service with Safelinks, all together!

PLEASE MAKE THIS HAPPEN!

Well as of midnight this Sunday morning I have spoke to 14 employees in 2 days guess what my hotspot still don't work they tried to tell me to begin with you use your 5 GB I said I have ACP and lifeline I got 10 gigabytes oh no you got five okay hung up called right back next person you use your 10 GB I said the last person just told me I had five you're telling me I got 10 what's going on what do I got do y'all know you even got computers hung up called back they didn't like that third call cuz I was like you're now being recorded for all that he assurance also found out they cannot hang up on you really they have to like turn your phone off to actually hang up on you cuz if you just hold the line and don't hang up they either take their headsets off and do something or something I don't know if they don't hang up that's turn your phone off first so about seven of these employees have listened to an hour long of loud gospel music cuz after I got to about the 7th employee in a day I was pretty hot I have recordings I got belligerent I got loud I got mad I cussed everybody out I still don't have a hotspot I've used 1 GB out of my 10 and my hotspot will not turn on at 11:44 tonight they cut my phone off so they can get off the phone cuz they close at 11:45 p.m. this company sucks I have voice recordings of most of my phone call conversations with them it took them 3 weeks to activate my phone when I finally got it 3 weeks to activate my phone just to almost a month into it hotspot quit working last month finally got transferred to a nice lady last month check my hotspot right on boom no problem this month I've been through by a little by tomorrow morning when they open at 8:00 a.m. is probably going to be about 40 employees cuz I'm going to start blowing them up two phones calling two of them at a time somebody's got to fix this this is ridiculous makes no sense on how a company and I'll push a button and turn my hotspot back on that day I seriously think they're turning it off now last month lady turned it right on boom no problem this month all we got to follow the troubleshooting steps in the computer and I beat them to it I'm like nope that ain't going to work done did it you don't think the 14 people in front of you have told me to do this I done did that done did that done did it did it lady kept me online for 2 hours talking to me finally end up had me factory reset my phone and said she'd call me back never heard nothing how's possible don't work this company sucks needs to be shut down burn down or something I don't know need to be something cuz they they suck the phone suck they sent me a phone that has no tap pay no fingerprint reader I have nothing I think my pager back in the '90s was smarter than faster and better than this phone is it's free yeah I understand that but I still pay for it I pay taxes I still pay for it I'll be kind of glad I wish I would have never transferred to this company I should have stayed at T-Mobile T-Mobile if you're reading this forgive me of my bad ways and give me another chance everybody else don't go to SafeLink wireless service or TracFone wireless service they all suck if you're the CEOs the owner of this company so whoever I shareholder whoever y'all need to shut this company down cuz it sucks burn it down something do something cuz it sucks it's not even worth it

SafeLink Customer Service is horrible. Their outsourced center staff doesn't understand english, requiring you to repeat the same story over and over again. It's frustrating, your not allowed to speak with a supervisor and they don't offer to collect your contact info for a call back. I was sent a replacement phone, signed up as a new customer thought I've been with them for 8 years. The Mall rep. was unable to give me a new upgraded phone or tablet because of it. The Cust- serv rep. could not resolve my problem. He needs retraining.*I need to know on what date I'm eligible for a new phone- so I can tell the Mall Rep. next month. * In fact the Mall Rep. couldn't even reach SafeLink; another problem. And all Mall Reps. want to do is sign people up as soon as possible. They lose interest real fast after they realize- you can't be signed up. And I can't leave SafeLink before signing with another company. *Meaning I'd be without phone service.

I can't believe this company is in business! They are paid with tax payer dollars and don't do their job. I got my phone, called and got phone turned on. Was told to call back the next day to have number ported over. I called and the automated changed my number without asking what I wanted it changed to. Called back and explained what happened. I was told if I didn't know my number they couldn't help me and did I want the service cut off? I said no I had just gotten it and to please help me. I tried to make a call to get the number but phone stated "cellular network not available". Under setting nothing. She hung up on me. I called back got someone else they were just as bad and said they were working on my phone and would call me back in 3 hrs on another line. This never happened. They are getting paid by tax payers for hanging up on people. I am a senior, I did not raise my voice, use bad language or anything but they treat you really bad. I am afraid to use this company and if need be will go as far as needed to put this company out of business.

Although I have shared this "story" or situation at least 17 times (because I too have been hung up on several times) I look forward to sharing it the next two times with the Better Business Bureau and the FCC. My difficult situation is now an IMPOSSIBLE situation, thanks to SafeLink. A single mother with a special needs six year old, and I have no working phone now! I am a college educated female who currently has several resumes and applications out there, but if any of them call, how will I know?? Your company is a joke! Customer Service Reps who don't give a sh!t and just hang up on you when they are done trying to help you or when things get tough. And in my profession, I've guided many clients to SafeLink for their Lifeline service. You can bet the bank that I will NEVER suggest SafeLink again to anyone and I will tell EVERYONE not to use SafeLink. I have tried every possible way to get the proper help from you and am at a total loss! Worse off than before I chose your company. My last shot was the Web Chat and after twenty five mins of back and forth information exchange, the rep says "I will have someone contact you. What's a good number to reach you?" OMG, did we not just discuss that I don't have a working number currently?! Holy sh!t! Done!

Safelink has the worse customer service reps. I was hung up on twice. The last lady yelled at me before disconnecting. And on top of that they barely speak english. My tracking number was not valid and the rep told me she could see that my package had been shipped , but she also said the tracking number didn't work for her. She couldn't explain how she saw it shipped but the number was invalid on both ends. Please hire americans that won't disconnect the calls

Safelink has the worst customer service employees ever, I have never in my life been hung up in one day. I think the company needs to hire English speaking people can understand what your call is about. I called 3 times today to get hung up on and can barely get to speak to anyone this is very frustrating and unprofessional to the least what a waste of time. I hope that the service that we as consumers get will greatly improve. I rate Safelink a 1 which is terrible for a company.

I was forced to flip from Qlinks to Safelinks after buying a phone from Walmart, I had a flip phone and needed a cellphone. I could only use Safelinks on this phone so I switched to avoid more headaches. I was led to believe that I could keep my number, that didn't happen. A year and a half later they deactivated my phone saying I hadn't used it, I use it everyday and called them the morning they deactivated my phone. I was disconnected 3 times before being told I had to re-enrole, the foreign operators cannot fix problems and refused to connect me with someone who could fix their wrong. I would not recommend Safelinks to anyone and will be taking my business back to Qlinks where I had no issues for 7 years.

I just had the WORST experience with SafeLink. After being on the phone for 20minutes,trying to get help, the tech guy hung up on me, when I called back I Spoke with KIMBERLY who hung up on me 4 times. Getting through the automated part is frustrating enough...but then to have the phone director hang up on me and refuse to speak to a supervisor is Extremely rude and I cannot believe this is how they treat people.

I have had nothing but issues since signing up with this company they sent me a phone with a broken screen when I called about it I got told I would have to buy a new phone. Then not even 2 weeks ago they shut my service off for no apparent reason took me 2 days to get it back on then last week same thing now today been on the phone for 3 hours because I can't send or receive texts messages. They hang up on you and you have to keep calling them. Service sucks all the way around don't waste your time

Unbelievable person on chat was beyond rude, short with me, and advised she had no idea how to view my reward points start date. She sent me 3 codes which I copy and paste yet, she stated all three were wrong. She added give me the code now...wow.. also the code u sent is wrong and you need to give me pin number and serial number of your phone. I questioned her behavior and conversation ended. I am so thru with this not the first time, I'll be transferring my lifeline service as well as file with national Verifier, service blows, phone is cheap piece of, they really don't give a fk ... Safelink customer service people need to be trained. Every few months they terminate my service because they say I cannot have lifeline and git a discount on my internet. Then that causes me to have to buy a plane. Are they tell me I am not using my minutes but I am because I use my phone for work. I have been with yall for about 5 or 6 months. And I am on lifeline and I have had to buy a plan at least 3 times. Right now I am waiting for papers to re aply agian. Cannot do it on line because I am replying every month are to. I wish they will be told that you are allowed to be on both programs. I am not the only one this is happing to. They refuse to listen they argue back till you you are wrong and you need to buy a plan. Please I would like to handle this nicely. Please stop turning my phone off. Please listen to my conversation with your people yall are recording I have been trying to do another application on line but it want let me finish. I have asked for fax numbers emails. Trying to git this resolved since I no longer can complete my application on line.They say they have no email are fax number. 5his time I have been trying to git my phone right since Friday. I had to buy a plan. Again. Please let them know you can have both programs. Oh they refuse to put on supervisors. And I git no warning they just cut me off.

Calling customer service is not only frustrating but inconsistent based on who you talk to. It's obvious they read from a script with their replies. If u ask a related question they get confused and they go in circles. You ask for a supervisor and that isn't an option. If u deal with them expect numerous call backs to resolve the problem. If u are a person with little patience, get someone else to call. If I gave a rating from 1 to 10, 10 being the highest, I'd give them a 3.

This business is AWFUL. I have called and called to get my phone resinstated but the customer care people keep hanging up on me. Three times just now. I have called the headquarters and all they do is send me back to the people that I must hate me since they won't help me. I am so upset. Who do I call to just get my phone back online? Three days ago I dealt with your "customer service" idiots. When not giving me wrong information they were hanging up on me. Dumbest people ever. Their answers were nonsensical. THE WORST......At 8:47 A.M. spoke with " Ronnel " in the PHILLIPINES ID # 523..186
and seven minutes later he hung up on me. Please fire him. I had explained to him DAY 9 WAITING...I have emails--arrival--date should be Thursday 3..9..2023..
I contacted FEDEX this morning and a status of STILL--TRANSIT.
Is the phone-box on a plane or a truck ? No, IN-TRANSIT means sitting
in a warehouse, like ALL-week--long.
I have pages of notes and yes I have been lied to !
I called 3 days this week, hours of the RUN-AROUND, TRANSFER, ON-HOLD.
ESCALATING to SUPERVISOR is ignored...1times...2-3times...4times.
What is wrong with this picture ?

Safelink should be put out of business, and they need to be sued, my neice is a lawyer and oh i will be looking to sue the mess out of them , customer service is rude and don't know how to speak current English and when you ask to speak to a manager it's they don't have enough phones or it's an Error, or they can't let you speak to them because they are not allowed to and than they lie , lie , lie , lie and than they hung up in your face and I am tried of their stuff

Could not hear the operator I got when calling SafeLink support and that's where the rudeness started I even tried to take blame for not hearing her then so I finally said it sounds like your Turing and talking to someone then would start talking to me again I kept saying I couldn't hear her then it would come in loud and clear but I finally said the truth I was having not only a hard time with the talking in & away from her phone microphone then the language she spoke very little English and I finally said I don't mean to be rude but your English is hard for me to understand it was barely understandable only a word here & there would I understand & when I brought that up in between everything said between us after that she would repeatedly give me the spiel about them having some kind of electrical communicating problem and would go in to it every time I brought up that I could not hear her(Wich like I said was it dealt like a minute to say and then I asked can you please stop repeating that you are having a computer related communication problem everytime would either say I could not hear her & she got really rude when I finally said I got to be honest with you I can't understand your broken English only a word here & there then she kept repeating the technical issue they were having I really think they should be held accountable about how they treat some customers because all's they do is end up hanging up on you if your honest with them at all a couple other times I've dealt with the same type of uneccessary rudeness then after a 30-90 minute phone call including the time trying to hear and understand the SafeLink operator to get hung up on I feel there should be a way to where they can be reported with a name or cubical number identifying Wich operator you had issue with because it seems to be getting worse and I'm by far not a prejudice person I was brought up to respect others as they respect you no matter ther race or gender !!they should be held accountable for their own self because some of them just plain take full advantage of the fact they know you can't report the person individually Wich is I feel very wrong if I am rude or screw something up at work I get talked to (Wich does not happen often but ) anyways they would be alot more friendly if the rude ones could be weeded out it's very frustrating and then just to be hung up on !! I've had SafeLink for many years to say customer service is horrible is a MASSIVE UNDERSTATEMENT!!!!!!
They are beyond incompetent and unbelievable RUDE.
I had to replace a phone in October 2022
When I asked the woman her name and customer I'd because I was going to file a complaint... She didn't just hang up on me she took it to a new level of scumbag SHE CANCELED MY LIFELINE AND MY SERVICES I COULDN'T CALL OR MESSAGE AND TURNED MY NETWORK OFF !!!!!! How is this not criminal !!!!??? Canceling government benefits maliciously ?? With nonrecourse???
Mad doesn't even cover it !!!
To this day I'm still having issues
I've called and called and get NOTHING no return calls just people half way across the world who don't understand or speak English clearly. Everytime it appears to get worked out. My sim and network disappear. I'd sear on my life it's the agent with access to my account still.
Taking advantage and abusing people who get these government approved benefits because we are poor , on SSI needs to be investigated and they need to be held accountable.
These people have access to ss# , Dob, addresses & credit cards is NOT ACCEPTABLE.
No doubt they are collecting, saving and using our information.

I really like the service. No dropped calls and clear audio. What I dont like is I cant get an up grade to a smart phone. I'm on disability and have no way to get the ebb because the phone I received is not capable on going on line

ON july 1st to 2nd I didn't get my free minutes on my phone,because it was a system down for the company and the phone was turn off as I call the number to the company it wasn't suppose to be cut off that why so all I want them to do is send me another phone in the made with a new number that way the old phone will be giving back. To the supervisors and staff at Safelink. You have the single best customer service representative ever. Suzanne and I spoke a number of times, and when I originally called I was angry. She stopped that anger cold. She arranged to have my problem fixed in a day. She was so easy to talk with I could feel her smile on the phone. Please tell her what a good, no a great job she does. If Tracfone/Safelink had 10 Suzanne's there would never ever be an unhappy customer. Thank You Suzanne from the heart. I am grateful.

I have sent a number of applications via fax to Safelink. The first 2 were denied saying my house address is a PO Box. I really live in a house so I attached a copy of a letter from the 911 people stating I was living at the address, plus a letter from the carrier supervisor at the Post Office. That application was denied stating there was no letter from the SNAP people. I then faxed the following in May. I sent a cover ltr, the 2 page Safelink Application, two letters about my residence, and a SNAP approval ltr. This was denied stating the ltr was not within 30 days of the date someone looked at my file. I then sent the same info as before, but this time I sent a 2 day old ltr from SNAP. It was denied stating that the last 4 of my Social Security Number did not match me. I spoke to a supervisor in India, on 7-2. His name is Richard Levine. He told me to fax the ltr, the app, the PO and 911 lts, and a page with my a copy of my Social Security Card and SNAP card. He said that by the 9th I'd be approved. I called on 7-12-13 and someone in India said I had not sent the SNAP card. I told them if they had my SSI card then they had my SNAP card. (All on the same page). I have a verified fax received statement. I spoke this guys supervisor and he told me I was wrong that the only thing on that page was my SSI card. After 45 minutes of being told I was disapproved and that there is no number to call for corporate. I found it on line, and called. I spoke to a man named AKAN, he calmed me down, looked at my account, and passed me to someone named Suzanne. She had me re-fax the 7-2-13 application directly to her. I now have verification of successful fax. I am awaiting the outcome. I guess we will see. On my ratings below I have to give India an all unfavorable rate. What I am giving is my Corporate ratings.

WOW!! I posted my complaint yesterday morning. When I checked this morning April from Safelink customer service had responded asking for my info. I sent it to her this morning and within a couple of hours my problem had been resolved (1324 minutes were restored to my phone.) She hasn't even called me to discuss the problem yet. Safelink may not make it easy to reach the right people but once you do they seem anxious to make things right. Thank You Sean and Safelink for fixing my problem.

I was fortunate enough to find this message board for Safelink Wireless. After sending an email to [email protected], I received emails which were followed up by two phone calls today, one from a customer service rep in the Phillipines and one from a rep in the corporate office in Miami. They were able to resolve the problems with my phone. I also found a Tracfone message board and the moderators there were able to help me too.

I had a problem with not getting my min. this month and it did take a while to get to a live person, but when I did he was very helpful and solved the problem for me. Some of you are sooooo ungrateful. What do you not understand about free? What if it does take you longer to get service, big deal. Your not paying them, it's FREE. Be grateful. Thanks Safelink!

Been with Safelink 4 yrs & NEVER experienced any problems what so ever. No problem reaching "a live person" for customer service, tech support, etc....Not sure where all of you are from that are experiencing such terrible problems but as for USA in the State of Ga....All is good!!!!

i had a safelink phone that alway's had excellent reception until i moved deep into the countryside of central georgia. the phone would receive incoming text message's but otherwise was useless. safelink kept sending me e-mail's regarding the fact that i was not accepting my monthly minute's. after several conversation's with customer service, i finally was able to speak to a lady who finally understood the issue. she switched me to the carrier with the most complete coverage for my area and no more problem's with service. as long as you have the time to contact someone in customer service who understand's and completely comprehend's the nuance's of the english language, you will receive excellent customer support from this company.

This comment is directed to all illiterate people who wrote the comments before me -especially the idiot who stated, "I DON'T GOT NO PHONE." First go back to school and learn proper English. The rest of you need to learn how to use your products and stop using the internet to whine, grow up, and stop blaming others for your mistakes. I have had my phone for three years and have had no problems with the phone or customer service.

I use there free service for 3 or 4 years now and i have no complaints it takes a while to get customer servic on the phone but i am using a free service.they replaced my first phone for free so im happy with my service.

Once again I must say how pleased I am w/ this program. I had no problems reaching a helpful, pleasant, and informed cust service rep. If you are patient and pay attention to the prompts you should have no problems getting a LIVE rep. I am still as pleased & thankful as ever for this service.

I had my Safelink phone for 2 or 3 years without a problem. I lost it about 3 weeks ago. I called customer service last Monday to report it lost. He took all my information and told me what to do when my one time replacement phone arrived. I got it today, called customer service and they activated it after a few questions. I had no problems at all. Although I got just a few minutes for this month I am still grateful to have this service.

I have had SafeLink service for aprox 4 yrs. I have never had any problems with contacting a customer service rep or getting any problem I may be having resolved. I am thankful for having this service.

I been working for safelink for 4 weeks and I have yet to receive a check. The kicker is when we do receive the 1st check it's for the 1st couple customers. That's not right. 300 marketing out of Philadelphia is robbing us and I been tryna get in touch with someone but it's impossible to. How do I get in touch with someone so I can get my pay. I worked for it and I'm being cheated out of my pay

As A Former Celluar Customer Rep I Am Totally Disgusted With The Way Safelink Reps Deal With Their Customer I Needed A Replacement Phone Because My Safelink Flip Phone Automatically Deducted A Min Just For Opening It When I Received The Replacement I Called To Activate It With The Same Number This I Told To The Rep Several Times During Our Conversation Which She Herself Repeated But Lo And Behold I'll Be Damned If I Did Not Receive A New Number Causing Me To Spend Another 40 Min With Yet Another Rep And Supervisor Only To Be Told My Old Number Would Not Work With The Replacement Phone,heres Where It Really Get Interesting A Week Later I Called These Delightful People Again To Lower My Minutes They Ask For Verifying Informationi Provide It To Include The New Phone Number They Gave Only To Be Told I Have No Application On Record With Safelink They Can't Find Me By Address,birthday Or The Last Four Of My Social I Explain You Just Sent Me A Replacement Phone To The Address I Gave You So I Came Up With A Brilliant Idea (i Do That Sometimes)let Me Give You My Old Number The One I Wanted To Keep.guess What Safelink Bam There I Was Now Aint That A B. I Realize This Is A Free Service Am I Am Grateful To Have It Until I Have To Speak With One Of Your Reps As I Said At The Beginning Of This I Worked In The Field Before As A Supervisor For A Sprint Call Canter And As Lead Rep For Cricket
