I have been a Shaw customer for the past 20+ years, but I am going to be changing my services because you suck. I tried to call the support telephone number to inform of a payment, try to change the name of the account, and many other request and there are not humans answering. I do not have time to wait for 20 hours to get services. I tried your online support and I constantly get disconnected.
I can see that your negative comments surpass your positive comments, and yet nothing is being done to address the issue.
Pay some people to deliver the service you make enough money out os clients like me.

Absolutely atrocious company to deal with. I have been using them for about 5 years. In that time, we have had several modems fail, their pods burned our walls and had to be replaced, and outages are non-stop (Just got out of one that was 2 hours long including phone). They are great at saying sorry, and even gave a credit, but that's like buying a car, and having it stop along the highway numerous times in the day, where you have to wait to drive again.

As a now retired network engineer, Shaw should be embarrassed for this pathetic service, however, I'm done ranting, I have put in a call to get Sask-Tel back.

If you are using your Internet for ANYTHING other than simple web browsing, go to Sask-Tel, Shaw is too big for their own good and cares nothing for the individual customers. I have a serious heart condition and if I have another attack an ambulance has to be called. How can I do that if I have no phone Shaw?

So, maybe get a cell phone so I don't have to use Shaws you say? So pay another 50.00 a month out of pocket to ensure Shaw can't screw me over with no connection? Right.

Avoid these people and if you choose to go with them, you deserve everything you get from them which amounts to close to nothing.

I can never download once I am into the app. They don't take my phone number or email. Your sales discriminate the poor . I go to Market Basket and I use to go to Shaws.

Contacted shaw support as I could not access my main account to stream on the shaw app. The tech kicked my off of the chat after typing to check the help page after I explained that the instructions were not valid and non functioning for me. Lousy service

Shaw was really good until I needed a new router. The blue curve works for a few months till it craps out.
Then they never inform you about a send back policy on the old router then will randomly charge you $200 CAD for a no send back fee. Terrible provider

Started a plan in august at $123.00 a month, "guaranteed", for two years....by Nov. it was $176.00....I phoned and she said well ya, $123.00 plus Netflix, then taxes for that, and then this and that, and she went on and on with stuff I'd never heard of, like, that was on my 64 page contract in minuscule writing, like I should have known that...and I said yes...to the contract...on the phone....uhhhhhh.....I changed my plan in august because my bill had gone up to $175.00 and I couldn't afford it any more. So this nice shaw guy does this...signs you up...but leaves off the part of where you have to pay all this extra stuff!!
In nov. I was hacked and got my account completely emptied...by someone in bellieze....unfortunately, Shaw tried to take their monthly money out of my empty account ....found nothin....next day, they sent the most ugly, threatening letter, and...oh...a $300.00 for non payment, or else they would cut me off immediately...I'd been with them five years.....ONE DAY.....
So I changed to Telus...and shaw gave me a bill of $700.00....apparently they are charging me for the next two months also?.???
Now, talk about a horrible company! BUT...the employees are super nice...the technician, the phone people, all so very nice...but they cheat you, lie to you...whatever you do....DO NOT EVER SIGN UP WITH SHAW!

I have been with Shaw cable since the 1970's and the service has really deteriorated. I just had a problem with my Shaw remote that was delayed 20 seconds after pressing the menu, last, guide, or scrolling button. Very frustrating. When I phoned Shaw they told me they would mail me a new one. I told the rep that when I previously had a remote problem I used to return it to the store and they would give me a new one. The rep told me if I did that they would charge me. So I asked what I should do my remote and she said throw it in the garbage. I was appalled by this. I did some research and found an article called, How to Reprogram your Shaw Remote. I followed the instructions and the old remote worked again. Amazing! Why did the rep. not know about this, which would result in a perfectly repairable remote to go in the garbage. Disgusting!

Nov26 i transferred to mts coz my promo with shaw is done. Nov 27 i returned all your equipments. Dont know why u charged me for the following month when im with mts. I paid 90 dollars plus. Thats not fair.

Brutal, 3 days 6 hrs on the phone, techs that know less about wifi than I do, countless redirects to call centre in Belize and all i needed and asked for was a new modem. Tech shows up 2 days later with a refurbished modem that still had the previous owners network name and password and the unit actually failed. Tech came back with a new modem and is good. Complete GONG show. No such thing as customer service at shaw.

Shaw has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I tried helping my 90 year old father cancel his services. He is mainly deaf and cannot see very well, and even after indicating to the customer service representative that I could speak on his behalf the rep said no, he needed to speak to him. He couldn't remember his pin and the rep said that he could not help and could not cancel the service without the pin. I then asked how are we supposed to then move forward if he doesn't remember it? He said he could not help and that it was the process. So basically we are to then continue paying indefinitely. I don't think so. He was utterly useless in helping us, he didn't even offer any suggestions on how to maybe change the pin. I do not recommend Shaw given the multitude of other options out there. I use other service providers and have never come across anything this ridiculous in my life.

For a internet company they are no help at all
So we are a family who cone to canada 2 months ago and we have really hard time
But finally we make a payment but when we make it they cut the service then we ask what happen they told us they can't reconnect the service until the payment goes through and sense is holidays that well no happen until a week later and if we lucky so we have to pass Christmas with no service and no Christmas movies for the kids but hope the other company can do installation with short time before Christmas but fingers crossed ?
And from us merry Christmas and happy new year for who whatever stop and read this review

LOUSY CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Automated machine infuriates me - wastes my time!! Hire more staff so we may get FAST EFFICIENT SERVICE. I don't call because I have nothing better to do.

Our wifi has stopped working twice this month and a technician came and replaced our modem but we are still having issues. Have unplugged and restarted the modem so many times and no technicians available until next week , so we live with no tv, no computer or phones for another week . Absolutely unacceptable and we are switching companies asap . Horrible service with shaw !!!!

Awful sevice. Call asking to watch the oilers. They charge me $219.00. After 3 days see cant watch game. Call back. They then changed it to a credit of $90.12. Ohhh but also a $16 a month. After less than a month trying to fix this I said I don't want it. They refuse to help and said no I have to pay the money. Even thou it was the first man I talked to mistake!!!!! So wrong. And they refuse for you to talk to a manager

Shaw service is atrocious. They don't show up, don't return calls and really do not care about their customers. Conned an elderly dementia client into taking new service which uses voice commands. said they will come and take the system out and replace the old system. Never show up, lie and seems that 77 people are out with the flu so they cannot guarantee times.

Guess what Shaw - cancelling your service today. Got a much better deal with a company that can provide much better service and listens to the concerns of their customers.

I keep getting this call about a complaint I have. I don't deal with Shaw I'm with MTS . IT'S ANNOYING IF YOU DON'T STOP CALLING ME I WILL CALL RHR COPS FOR HARASSMENT. I had to change my number and I got someone's old number . My new number is 204-599-7659 . You guys can't figure out that if someone doesn't answer your call they don't need help. Two weeks past and still no internet called the customer service 4 times they sent a technician we were notified that they have to pull wiring from main house to the guest house.he had to talk to the supervisor to get back to us next day that was oct 31st no calls no updates.
Called on Nov 6th and explained the situation to the agent and technical supervisor the set another appointment for another technician same old story
Seems like nobody knows what the other guy doing .
I need my payment be returned so I can go with another company . Worst service I ever had .

Pay 86 dollars for a basic TV programming they are such a rip off and they only give incentives to new customers what is the best tv programming to get i am done with shaw

Worst company biggest cheaters I returned there Bixby Canada Post I lost recpet now they put me in collection agency 500 $ that creapy box don't deal with Shaw they ripped me off before too totally discussing

Shaw sent me a trade in offer and 4 people later and retype all my info 4 times . What a complete joke and each idiot I spoke to I had to send same info multiple times to eachbofcthem. So there is no good deals on offers unless you time is worth nothing there are no stores in maple ridge and all I wanted was a new phone! Good luck on that! I gave up on that .,. I have all my services with them but that is soon to charge.

Shaw came out to my home to install a new internet service. In the process, they knocked out existing services for a tenant who is on another provider. They refused to come and repair their error and forced the tenant to take a day off to have hus service repaired. Shaw is trukt a predatory and sleazy company with no regard for its customers or anyone else.

Called Shaw Customer Service and cancelled my account Aug 14, 2022. Sent back receiver, remote, cables, etc. as requested by Shaw Customer Service on Aug 16th - these items were needed returned to zero my last statement amount. End of August received an invoice still showing final statement amount due - called Shaw Customer Service (spoke to Shamir) and was told that they had received my returned items and my account balance would be zeroed "in a few days". Received ANOTHER invoice in early September saying I still owed the same amount. Then receive a letter dated September 14th asking me to return receiver, remote, cables, etc. (that had been received by Shaw in August! - have confirmation from Post Office). Called Shaw Customer Service again (spoke to Justin) on Sept 17th; he said he would look into things and would DEFINITELY call me back by Sept 21st at the latest...no one ever called back! I've given up contacting them. They can send me as many invoices & letters as they want; they have their returned items and will NOT get any money from me; I can't believe how hard it is to cancel your account with this company! Shaw "Customer Service" is THE WORST customer service I have ever dealt with.
