Please do not support this company. Use Telus or Bell.
We switched from Shaw to Telus as they were charging us double Telus rates for the same internet service for the last two years.
When we cancelled everything and returned all the equipment, they said we owed another $36.00.
Fine. So when we got the final bill i didn't pay it because they had been taking automatic payments for 24 months. I thought it was just a familiar "you owe this much , will be withdrawing the above amount"
Not this time. No clarification just a bill sent to collections and my credit score is ruined. Even though I paid it when they sent it to collections without any notice.
Thank-you for nothing but your unreliable internet and lack of communication. Thieves.
I hope everyone sees this post and decides to buy services elsewhere. Anything I can do do ensure your company get less business because they are crooks.

We have our land line, mobile phones, internet & TV with Shaw and have been with them for many years. We have been trying to purchase 2 new cellphones from them for over 2 months and keep our same Shaw plan as we now have. Every time we talk to them they continue to tell us there will be a $45.00 activation fee each. We have asked them several times to please waive this fee because of the above. We have gone to Walmart, Best Buy, Shaw store, and by phone, and they all refuse to waive it. They really don't care. We are now contemplating cancelling everything with Shaw and try another company.

Sorry Shaw, but l notice your just not reliable any more...l tried l really did to want to stay with you but l cannot no longer. Your cable is way to expensive and your internet / wifi doesn't seem to work properly l keep having to reconnect or l have to reboot modem....it's just too much for me...l spend more time trying to reconnect then l do actually praising the fact l am online.

Sick to death of this "new" modem..its a piece of junk. CNN is always cutting out especially in evening. It's slow. It has a "mind of its own" sometimes taping same show twice at same time & ridiculous things like that.

Our Internet rarely works but when it does it's mediocre. It cuts off half the time especially when you're playing video games. It sucks and I would not recommend.

Shaw service keeps cutting out. I have had the modem replaced once already and have reset my modem countless times already but the problem still does not solve. I've even checked my ports and everything within the modem software and I should not be having these issues every damn day.

Set up services at our new house, it was going to be a month over lap and they won't allow you add a second address on an account so they set up a new one and then said when they closed it they would transfer the balance so I would have to set up a one time payee account on my online banking. Well they didn't transfer the balance and I just got a letter from a collection company. No email that the accound was still open nothing. This is absolute worst practice of any company I have delt with.

Horrible horrible horrible. Literally 3 times a week the internet is down, which cause my POS System to go as well.
Beyond frustrating, THEY COST ME THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS EACH MONTH IN WALK OUT CUSTOMERS CUZ NO WIFI!!! Literally thousands... If I could switch I would but the penalty and payout is astronomical, as well as apparently Telus does not operate in my town... beware of Shaw if your a business owner

Worst ever!! They lie and say they are writing notes down when you talk to them, then the next time you call they say nope no notes here... This is insane. Everyone I know has had problems and cancelled services now, skeeeezy people!

Worst company I have had the pleasure to deal with.
Cancelled cable but continued to be billed.
Called 4 times to straighten it out. Nobody can figure it out.
Sasktel is way better.

VERY VERY unhappy my 85 year old dad who all he does is watch tv and now something is wrong and cannot come until July 27. Like 15 days come on people SERIOUSLY.

I went to the local Shaw Cable store where I bought a remote control over one month. I explained to a representative that I bought a new remote a
Month ago and never used it. Now I just returned from a business trip and tries to program the remote. I have discovered that the remote is defective since the Cable key was on all the time after the Setup key was pressed. I explained to the customer rep that I have with Shaw over 20 years and replaced remote control several times and never experienced this issue. I was told to call tech support to sort the issue or get a replacement over the mail since in store replacement policy is within 14 days I said clearly I bought it a month ago but never used it until today. I called the tech support as suggested and they plan to program the Remote Control. Apparently the Remote Control has failed to work as designed and manufactured.

MY SUGGESTION IS SELL RELIABLE EQUIPMENT. Since I was in the store and I should have been given a new replacement remote control. Instead hiding behind company policy and having me go through the tech support routine is totally unacceptable. This is total BS.

Satellite shaw in petrolia area ,ontario , despite 2 month of issues , hours on chat text or phone !!! Still , the process to get a technician to come and fix things are impossible ! Atrocious

Had to cancel both our business Shaw account and Residential shaw account due to moving out of province. After years of being with Shaw we are being charged $450 to cancel the residential account and $850 to cancel the business account. Absolutely ridiculous. $1300 in cancellation fees for nothing. Run away from this company. Horrible customer service.

The Agent Angelo I spoke to was NOT very helpful. He was not polite to Shaw Clients. He didn't even assist me at all. I was still chatting and he already left the chat box and showing it was resolved even if it wasn't. Shaw does not need Customer Service like him. It took him very long time to reply. Lazy.

We have never had any luck with either the internet or TV. Shaw as far as I'm concerned is not worth the licensing for selling their cheap products and lousey services. Not worth the time or money.

Phoned to report an outage in my neighborhood, Tech person kept telling me to unplug my modem and plug it back in because she could not connect with it. I explained again that the cable was down and of coarse she could not connect to it, both internet and cable TV were out. She kept asking for the serial number on my modem so she could see if it was working correctly. I did this and she indicated that she could not connect to the modem, I explained again that the cable connection was down and was trying to report an outage. She kept telling me to unplug the modem and plug it back in.. Maybe a bit more training and a little less following a script, if can't deal with an issue not on the list, need to pass the file onto someone who can..

Simply said, CUSTOMER SERVICE is not at all what it use to be. I called Shaw concerned when I tried calling a family member the call went through directly to voicemail. Family member has an answering machine and should not have voicemail. I am on the file and the representative was asking me a bunch of questions, I get that for security but he was getting ridiculous and chuckling and would not stop asking questions, moreso than what would be considered the norm. End result requested MGMT to call back - not expecting a callback. She is paying for a service that she never requested.

Unable to fix no tv issues. Spend hours on the phone with tech support. No help will send out repair person days later. Happy to take your money with no help.

very bad company specially for business, they are very expensive , very uncooperative , they have problem faxing and they rely on contract so they know you don't break the contract .

Shaw sent me a remote for my TV. It doesn't work. Then they sent me another piece of crap that doesn't work. Don't deal with this company. Ever. I can't wait for my contract to be over!
