I had just ordered two 8x8 hard-covered books totaling $54. I waited for a 50% coupon, but all that arrived was Ship30, for free shipping. I placed the order, needing the books. The VERY NEXT DAY, a $10 off any $10+ order arrived. I was annoyed. I called the number above. I followed the prompts, and Adrienne answered. I explained the above to her, provided her with my order number and offer code and she credited me the $10. It was worth the call.

I have always had excellent products and service from this company. The woman was on the phone with me to handle two problems with an order of 5 photo books I had placed. She promptly redid the order fixing the problem and is shipping the corrected books free and with free shipping! Great company! I think these negative comments must be from the competition.

Shutterfly is the ONLY company that lets me edit my photos full size. My camera takes slightly wide pictures and every other company, WalMart, Snapfish, Walgreens, CVS... they all force me to cut away part of the print when editing. Shutterfly also has the best quality of all the above.

I just found this comment blog about Shutterfly. I have no idea where all of these negative comments are coming from. I have been using Shutterfly for years. I have had nothing but EXCELLENT customer service. If there has been a problem with my order, it has either ended up being a boo boo on my end and even if it is, they have worked to help me make it right. I have gotten more discounts and free orders with this company than I can count. If people would watch for their specials, they could "clean up" on making special photo books, prints, calendars - you name it!! I just had to get my 2 cents in to defend Shutterfly. I have so many special memories thanks to them!!!!

After years of dealing with Snapfish in order to save money, I was very happy to have switched over to Shutterfly. I ordered 6 rather expensive photobooks, and when I got them, they had several errors that were really due to the fact I had always used Snapfish and hadn't figured out their photobook (the biggest issue was the default to thick white frames vs. no frames with Snapfish). I called and within a short time I was assured their satisfaction guarantee covered this situation. I was able to go in and fix the frames and reorder the books, at no extra charge. Also, the quality of the books is better than what we got from Snapfish.

I ordered Christmas cards from Snapfish that we are STILL waiting for, and I so wish I had either gone with Shutterfly or gone to Costco.

I love Shutterfly. The quality of their prints is more like actual film from the "old days". Too many companies have digital printing kiosks, but your quality at those seems to depend on how full their ink cartridge is. Not so with Shutterfly: all of the prints are true to color and beautiful.

Negatives: making a photo book (I have made many- it is addictive) is SO SLOW and freezes when I get over about 25 pages.

I also wish Shutterfly had more of the cool editing capacities of Picnik.

Was able to reach someone regarding the promotion change within an hour of me placing my order. The company credited my account for the difference ... I thought they would never do it AND they did! I am impressed! Shocked! And grateful! Hey ... 20% verses 30% can make a difference. Thanks Shutterfly!

Well I have to say I received awesome customer service from their Philippine office.. I called a few months ago, had a problem with my order (which was my fault), and I was not expecting them to replace it for free. Well, lo and behold, they gave it to me, FOR FREE. Beat that.. Communication is not much of a problem either, they can speak well..
