I purchased a TP-LINK WR-841N wireless router and set it up. Subsequently, I purchased a second identical router to use as a wireless repeater to fill in wireless coverage at the far reaches of my home and yard using the WDS capability. I called the telephone help line (866-225-8139), and found it was busy time after time (23-Feb-2015). Eventually, after about an hour, I was able to reach tech support, and after waiting about 10 minutes, was connected to a very helpful and knowledgeable person who helped me set up the WDS feature. The network worked well for about a week, then the wireless network stopped working. Cycling power to both routers, got them working again. After this happened twice, I called the tech support line.and reached another very good support person on the first try (24-March-2015). He determined the problem, and led me through a re-configuration of the wireless network, which has been working without a problem. After the initial rather negative impression left by not being able to even get the phone answered, I have been impressed with the excellent quality of the telephone support, and like the low cost of the products. At this point, I feel that I have gotten very good support.

TP link is highly unprofessional organization.

I had bought a model which was not fit for my internet connection.

when i asked TP Link team to send an email to me regarding the same, they bluntly refused.

they dont want to even listen, cooperation is far away.

After purchasing your product and having it not to function with my wireless tablet, I made a comment on Amazon and you sent me contact information. I have been trying to reach you for over 4 hours and all I get is a busy signal on your phone line. Maybe you would rather contact me since your product hasn't functioned at all to help me. It appears that I just wasted my money. I waited until after the holidays to be sure of availability. My name is Sallie Herndon and my phone number is 434 432 8008. Your company continues to sink in my customer service ratings. I will contact Amazon and repost my problems if I do not hear from you within the next 24 hours. I have really worked trying to get your product to work. My brother (a SVP for Staples Office) visited over the holidays and did a diagnostic on my computer and found no problem. I have high speed internet and he thinks your product may faulty. The installation went without a hitch but the connection is not being made between the router and my tablet. My tablet has connected with at least 7 other wireless sources.

First off I called UK Supper didn't speak to someone who seemed to know what they were talking about!



" Press the thing " " It no work" very bad broken English. I and to think I paid for that call and did get any help or problem solved.

Hi Team

I have purchased TP-Link 300mbps wireless N adsl2 modem router, 3 months before
Model no--TD-w8968 v2.0
s/n-1398301523

I am using Airtel fixed line connection to access internet , i use n=both wireless and ethernet to connect.

10 days the modem is not working correctly.

I am able to connect thro wireless, but the ethernet port is not working.

no lights are blinking when i connect ethernet cable,

i tried with different laptops , system , ethernet is not working.


i have called Tp link support and raised a case , the tech support team confirmed it s issue with modem and need to be replaced,

they asked to take it to local dealer, e caps india,chennai 600 033.

but it will take 15-20 days to replace,

i purchased the modem 3 months before

every time there is a power cut or i put the switch of/on i have to reset the modem settings

I need to get my modem replaces.
For that, I got two contact numbers of TP Link office Chandigarh from one of my friend.
I tried first one it was not working but tried second one and the person picked phone and said that he is from sales.

The poorest part is Sales person got angry on me and started abusing and calling me "illiterate" instead of cancelling call by saying that "I contacted sales please call other number for service center".

I will never purchase TP link products in future due to such rude behavior of their people.

Non- Chinese calls International customer support for a product bought locally and their response is call local customer support and BTW: they don't speak English and your best bet as a foreigner is to buy TP-Link products from outside China if you want us to support.
