Purchased an under the counter microwave oven for $2400 in Aug 2018. In March of 2022 it failed to work. Waited three months for Thermador service to repair the microwave. Was told,d after four months of waiting for parts they are unavailable and they do not know when they will have the part. Needless to say, I will go out an purchase a new microwave but rest assured it will not be a Thermador. Very poor service and quality.

Our Thermador range is 3 years old and the griddle coating is flaking off into food and the company is unwilling to cover a replacement this is a health and safety issue. poor customer service and concern for the implications that this may have.

Purchased a all gas Thermador 11 months ago. Have had the Stove for 3 months and so far so good. Great heating and great stove top burners. Extremely hot. As for the Sapphire dishwasher, no idea as im still waiting or it 11 months later and the CEO Dale states on his website 4-8 months. Why bother selling if you cannot fulfill orders. Please Dale...can you find me my Sapphire panel ready dishwasher. Thank you

I have a brand new Thermador 30" slide in gas range. It was installed 6 weeks ago. Burners work, oven does not. After one day off and a technician no show, I took another day off for round 2. Diagnosed with busted cooling fan/motor and control board --- highly unusual for a brand new unit. Technician ordered parts, one of which was back ordered and rescheduled repair for 5/16. Technician shows up but without the parts.

Really? I have a brand new non-functioning expensive oven and Thermador customer service has gone missing.

I will NEVER recommend Thermador products.

Had service on an 11 year old built in French door refrigerator with bottom freezer. The unit works but the panel shows bottom freezer is Off, but the freezer works and maintains temp. and making ice. Waited 2 weeks for an appt.for a Thermador factory service tech. And his diagnosis was bad power module and changed it with a new one. Unit booted up and now the panel works, instead of waiting to see if the frig. Kicks in he left. I called immediately and was told someone will get back to me, no one ever did. Had to buy 2 small frig. And a freezer to move my food stuff. Had to make another appt. And wait 2 weeks for the next service appt. Inspire having called several times and was told they will "escalate" this issue. No one called! Which shows a pattern here.

Coffeemaker worked for one month. Waiting months now for service call. They say won't come till have part. I checked online and part is widely available form 3rd party vendors 11014117...

I purchased a thermador stove. This is my 2nd one in 4 yrs. First one turned on by itself. 2nd one has burned out 2x. turns out you cant use the self cleaning oven because it fries the stove. 3 months no stove n i am being told that i have to pay for the service bc its out of warranty. At 1st they said it was $950 for everything. i called n complained. now i am paying just for the service which is approx $500. SMH. their stove has a defect. i shouldnt be paying for anything. Also i have tried to get a supervisor on the phone. i am on hold today over 2 hrs. seriously. Worst company ever. i will never buy from them again.

We spent $$$$ on a full line of Thermador products (48" range with steam oven, an additional built in oven, range hood, a microwave/speed oven, side by side fridge and freezer, and wine fridge). They are absolutely gorgeous and make our kitchen look top of the line. BUT!!! We have had to have repairs to the microwave, speed oven, burners, refrigerator, and steam oven, within the first year - all of which were very slow to be resolved (several still unresolved). The interfaces on the microwave and speed oven defy human logic. No one at BHS (Bosch - who owns Thermador) knows how to use the wifi features. If you're looking for a high-end kitchen, skip Thermador.

very unhappy with thermador, I have a new stovetop that is defective and left a message and was told I would get a call back the next day, it's been a week and nobody has called back.

I have been waiting for a technician for my freezer for the past 3 months. Once they came and took out the fan from under my freezer and never came back. My freezer died because of their poor service. The people that are working for them are just like robots. They told them to repeat sentences. I would never recommend this brand to anyone.

After waiting over an hour on hold to talk to customer service, I found that the first repair appointment was 2 months out!!. Then when a service person finally came, he spent 5 minutes, told me he need parts (even though the exact nature of the problem was clearly know in advance. When I called the next day to check on the timing of the followup service, I was told that I would have to wait yet another month. I was left over Thanksgiving and now over the Christmas holidays with a broken cooktop. The service representative couldn't have cared less. Thermador needs to make better products and hire more service technicians. I will never buy Thermador products again.

We submitted an appliance replacement request this summer after our expensive, built-in coffee maker stopped working after just two weeks. The appliance was installed at the end of June before it stopped working properly. After working with Thermador's authorized repair company on two service calls before Thermador told them to submit the paperwork to get a replacement sent out.

Fast forward to today, November 16. We've been without the use of the machine since late July and now am being told we have to wait until February 2022 for the replacement machine. The issue here is that in October I was told there was a shipment coming in at the end of October and one was going to delivered to us. Last week I find out that they do not ship to Hawaii and that the replacement would be done via a vendor credit with Ferguson. After speaking with Ferguson, we are now being told February.

I am very frustrated by the latest turn of events. If there was a machine that was allocated to us, whether it could be shipped directly by Thermador to us or via Ferguson, what happened to that machine. Why was it not delivered to Ferguson to handle?

Follow up calls to Thermador just led to more frustration with the representative now telling me we'd have to wait until May!!

FYI purchased complete Thermador kitchen in 2008 double ovens,48in cooktop,downdraft vent, 48in refrigerator,warming drawer,two dishwashers after six years double ovens had to be replaced could not keep a constant temperature for baking cookies replaced with kitchen aid double ovens keeps correct temp. Now in 2021 the refrigerator circuit board needs to be replaced but Thermador said they no longer have parts for this fridge they said average life of appliances last for TEN years that is not a good answer I'm sorry that we choose Thermador. Buyer's beware TEN years is not that long for all that MONEY!

I purchased and entire kitchen full of Thermador appliances 6 years ago this summer. So far 3 of the 4 appliances have needed repair and one more that once. These appliances are junk and shouldn't even be marketed to the public. I will NEVER purchase Thermador again and will tell ALL of my fiends to stay clear. Shameful!!!

We purchased at thermador double over, dishwasher, microwave, induction stove top and built in refrigerator. The date was March 1,2021. As of today we have received NONE of our appliances. We have called the Thermador Dealer who sold us the appliances and they tell us they have no answers. It's gotten to the point where they are totally rude and indifferent to our request for assistance. We have called Thermador 10 times and each time we get No assistance, advice or another direction to go in. Now going into the fifth month without appliances is unconscionable. The dealer should be stripped of their Thermador and Bosch line and the Thermador company should be reported to the Better Business.

Same issue as every other negative comment! Horrible service, gal who got snippy with me (because I couldn't understand her asking me for my phone number) so I told her same! After a bit more chat w her I said "I'm having work done, will expect reimbursement, and then when it's refused and you negate my warranty, I'll sue!" Oven only been in since January and it's in my vacation home so not even used daily and already oven won't heat!!

3 weeks to get an inspection, 3 weeks to get the IN STOCK part to the technician and then a MONTH for my appointment. Meanwhile my oven may have more problems since it's the control board that needs replacing

I bought the entire suite of kitchen appliances only to have the microwave stop working about 6 months after installation. I called Thermadore. I had to go through an appliance store that said "Thermadore Approved". They said the major part was broken. I told Thermadore. They didn't like the appliance store so I had to use another - and wait 2 weeks more. They said they same thing the first guys said. They ordered the parts. 5 MONTHS LATER - NOTHING. I have a 2-year warranty. They should have just given me a new microwave. Thermador agreed the appliance store didn't service me well and said they'd send their onw guys - a month later. They said 10-2.They show at 3:30. It took 10 minutes to fix. It didn't need any of the parts that 2 "authorized" servicemen said were needed. i waited for nothing because of incompetence. But more importantly, the microwave shouldn't have broken, they should have immediately replaced it or at least assure that it would be repaired in a timely manner. NOT WORTH THE PRICE. I also mentioned to the serviceman that my oven didn't seem to calibrate correctly for different reciples. He told me to turn up the temperature. Geez.

I purchased for a brand new home all appliances from Thermador. For install appliances, I asked for an installer.
They advise me two company. Then I worked with one of them. When they install appliances they burnt motor and electronic modul. I enrolled to Thermador, but they didn't solve the problem.
I paid for fix the problem. It was terrible costomer experience.

I have waited 6 months for delivery of a new oven/micro combination. There is no one to speak to who can help at Thermador. No time promise for delivery has been met and there is no reason to believe the newest time promise will be met. Do not order a Thermador

Dear Thermador,

We are writing this letter to let you know how disappointed we are with your customer service and incompetent warranty program. While we love our new appliances, both a propane range and a dishwasher, we are more than dissatisfied with your response when an issue arose.

We purchased a 30" gas range 4 burner (PRG304WH) and a dishwasher (DWHD650WFP) April 12, 2019 from Roby's Furniture and Appliance in Astoria, Oregon. Early July 2020, the oven was not working. It made a loud pop and a hissing sound. It didn't heat up. We called Brian's appliance who came out to repair the issue. He messed around with it and seemingly it was fixed. The next time I tried to use the oven, the same thing. We called your customer service to hopefully rectify the problem.

We spoke with Chris, in California, who thought it might be a control board issue. He offered to replace our range, which we declined. We just wanted this one repaired. Then we called again, spoke to Anita, she promised to help us, to no avail. We called a week later, spoke to a gal in NC. She seemed helpful, but again, no luck to get the range working. I called Janelle on August 28th for over an hour. She guaranteed me that her supervisor, William would call within 24 hours. This never happened. AND, I'm still without an oven.

Along the way, Roby's would call once a week, as they were trying to have their Thermador representative assist with our problem. Apparently, we are too far away from a "qualified" Thermador repairperson, so our warranty is really not an option.

Finally, it was September (now almost 3 months later without a range) when we were conversing with our propane dealer. He said he knew about propane ovens and would take a look. He determined the problem to be a faulty hot surface igniter. He replaced it, within two hours my stove was working and has been a champ ever since.

We thought you should know our frustration and lack of confidence in Thermador service programs. Our purchase, which wasn't cheap, was made in part because of your reputation to stand behind your products.

In the future, it is our hope that you do a better job with taking care of your customers. Please stop sending further extended warranty information, it is clearly a fraud.

Purchased our Thermador Frig in April 2020 $9500. Had to replace the stainless steel freezer panel.marred finish. In August had fan nois, build upof ice and dripping of ice in frig comparment. Service recommended defrost frig for 6-8 hours. We did defrost 4x to insure correction. Did not solve issue. Thermador assigned a third party repairer( 10/15/2020 Nutter Appl . They recommended replacement of 3 parts, computer, heater and a sensor. Two parts are back ordered ..1 eta on 12/16 the other no date available

Help! Since August( 3 months) we begin and end each day wiping down the ice drippings in the frig compartment
Would like a replacement of unit or a refund

We purchased double wall ovens model MED302JP VO5 for a new build that we moved into 6/2017
We immediately had to have repair service several times on this appliance during the warranty period.
We have used the clean oven setting since 2017 without incident. However, we recently used the clean oven setting &;the door did not open upon completion. Four calls were made for customer service assistance & not one answer helped to resolve the problem, Two customer service assistants recommended turning the oven off at circuit breaker & then rebooting . This was not the answer. Another two merely told us to have the door removed by an appliance repair company. The repair company arrived & we were told that our problem was not unique
& was due to manufacturers faulty release mechanism for the door. The repair person merely used a wire hanger to release a lock catch to get the door open that cost $100.
Yes, We are out of the warranty period but we have now had many in warranty & now an out of warranty problem. We strongly feel that the wall ovens are defective & would like Thermador to look into this matter & send us a reply
