TERRIBLE!!! The worst!!!! You cannot understand what they are saying. Every time you call they give you different information and no ways to know which one is the correct one. The managers have a terrible attitude and hung up on you.

The inaccurate negative information on my credit report seems impossible to correct and remove. As the victim of Identity Theft I have been extremely frustrated with the process of removing fraudulent info placed on my file by the three credit agencies. Even paying a Credit Repair company has been only somewhat successful, the creepy incorrect info just re-appears again. To make matters worse, there are positive items that are not mine either that I cannot remove. Why do companies wanting to verify credit history rely on the 3 credit agencies?

WORSE CALL I HAVE EVER MADE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The guy could not even speak English, it took me to just about to start yelling to even get him to shut up about the monitoring service to even ask my question. Then it still wasn't answered. Why is this company so hard to deal with?

Refuse to investigate request and updating with incorrect information has been prevalent in my contacts with Transunion. My experience has been horrible because of the wrong updated entries that are made on the consumer report which shows that no investigation was done.

I've contacted them several times concerning an account that is listed on my report. It is not my account. World Finance is list on my report as negative. This is not my account. My account with World Finance is current with a balance of 635.0 and a monthly payment of 125.00, last payment made 08/02/13. I contacted Transunion, told them account not known, please remove from account and give my scores back that was taken because of this negative item. I contacted John at World Fiance and he said that he didn't report that. Transunion said that they would investigate and they did not. They updated the negative account on 090413 saying last payment was made on 083013,past due balance 581.00and remarks stated that this is unpaid, charged-off account even thought they claimed a payment was made on 083013. This kind of activity on the report lets the consumer know that the account was not investigated because the correct information would have been reported on the credit report.Please help me by removing this negative account from my report and PLEASE update with the correct account and PLEASE give me back my scores.

CANCELLING YOUR ACCOUNT:

They don't make it easy to find, but this did actually work. If you call the 800 number it will tell you to do this.

- Login to your account
- Click "Help" on the upper right hand side
- Click "Payment" which is near the middle under the "FAQ" tab
- Scroll to the bottom and you will see this:

The easiest way to terminate your membership is by talking to a Customer Service Team Member at (800) 493-2392.
Customer Service is available:
Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to Midnight
Friday through Sunday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

I tried to cancel my membership earlier this month but no avail. Transunion deliberately does not give members a cancellation telephone line to call. I was told I could not cancel my membership on line. Transunion has made it EXTREEMELY difficult for members to cancel their membership. You MUST cease and desist from taking membership fee from my bank account like you did earlier this month, even though I had informed you of my desire to cancel my membership on 08/05/2013 on line. Important!!!! Credit Bureaus. I'm not
sure anything has improved in recent years.
Few things impact Americans to the extent
their credit does - and we're all but helpless in correcting matters.

Another question - Why are the credit bureaus
based outside of the U.S.? How about some
answers Mr. Cordray????

Very disappointed when I signed up for this service I spoke to a person that spoke clear english. Now that I have a question all I can reach are non english speaking reps. I will cancell my membership and go with a company that hires and conducts business in the United States of America. This is where I live, this is where I work and this is where TranUnion portrays itself to be. Have wasted part of my day trying to get thru to someone I can understand. Not good!

Transunion Total is a rip-off!!! Charged me for product after the 7 day and denied me access to the product for the 30 days that I paid for because I cancelled the product for future use after what I paid for. Requested refund which they refused in to refusing to provide what I paid for.Try to lie about when product was cancelled!!!!! Tried to pretend that it was the first time contact was made. I followed their automated system instructions!!!!!!!!!! Finally, got offer of access to product after threat of lawsuit but, I refused and was given the refund that I requested initially!!!!!!!!

I spent two days trying to log in and getting messages to call.
I was trying to unfreeze my credit report. They took the money and didn't unfreeze it.
It may have cost me a chance to refinance my mortgage because the broker couldn't gain access.
Also the first two to three customer service agents were unknowledgeable and gave me other numbers to call.
I finally called a very good agent the last time and he helped me.
It take persistence to find a good one.
Transunion doesn't appear to want anyone to do business online and directs you to an automated system to charge customers for information.
The other two credit reporting companies were very easy to navigate.

Transunion have the worst customer service first off I couldn't understand what the person was saying he was very rude trying to rush me off the phone horrible horrible customer service they need to fired everybody and start all over again with new hires...sad sad sad:(

TERRIBLE SUPPORT - after being hung up after long waits by their IVR on several occassions... finally reached an idiot who wanted me to subscribe to an theft prevention service. Told him too late my Chequing account, visa account and brokerage accounts have been wiped out by a hacker. Then advised I purchase a gift card to pay for the warning to be put on my account. I LOST it. Finally he said he put a warning on my account... but I doubt it. They are only interested in trying to take advantage of the people they are supposed to be helping to protect

Transunion have the worst Customer Service of the world. I called them to dispute an account that was not mine and the only thing that the representative from Transunion wanted was for me to subscribe to their monthly monitoring service. At the end I said no and when I hung up I felt that they were no going to help me with the dispute. Because she sounded mad that I didn't want to subscribe for their Monitoring or whatever. At the end my credit score went up on the Equifax and Experian and for whatever reason Transunion credit score drop 662 to 605. With nothing negative, everything was the same except that my credit card balances was paid. So I have less debt than the past months. What kind of business this people run. And we on the mercy of they doing what ever they want with your credit?

The free 7 day policy is a joke. I called and cancelled on the 7th day, but they said it was actually the 8th day so they charged me $30. I looked at my email receipts and it was like 4 hours over the 7 day mark. The only reason I couldn't call on the 7th day was because they're closed on weekends. Nobody would give me a refund or give me a number to call to complain to someone who actually has any authority. I hate this company.

Transunion has the WORST customer service of any supposedly professional organization I have encountered. Neither the rep or the supervisor could speak or understand English. The SAME information needed to faxed in three times to them and then the exact same information needed to be faxed in again to another nummber because apparently the highly educated rep. and hiis supervisor could not understand that

I just called Transunion it was absolutely ridicules I talked to someone not from the United States of America this has to stop why can Transunion not be like Equifax and Experian I have talked to Americans there keep the credit agencies in America where it should be!

Worst credit reporting entity by far. I am confused as to how TransUnion is the ONLY credit reporting entity that cannot get most of my credit info straight. When I called to add a bankruptcy discharge that occurred in 2011, they told me it was not their fault it wasn't on the report and it was the reporting agency's fault. SERIOUSLY? The Federal Government seemed fully capable of reporting to the other two credit reporting agencies and that showed up immediately, so seems to be a TransUnion issue of not processing info. Customer service was impossible, nobody there speaks a lick of English. Worst ever.

They won't let one unsubscirbe. I missed the one-time charge of $7.95 for the credit score when I got my annual credit report. So I went to the subscription service. It offers the service for free for 7 days, then a charge of $16.95/mo. I waited 24 days to the end of the month, checked my score a second time, and then looked for how to unsubscribe to the service. I found one has to call an 800 number. What one is not told is they do not answer. I tried the number and got a message I would be helped in approx. 5 minutes. I hung up after 55, having spent the last 1/2 that doing tasks around the house. A half hour later, I trierd again. Same it'll-be-about-5-minutes message. I hung up after 40 when the doorebell rang. I looked online for another number, found one, same consumer menu, told the guy, from the accent probably Mumbai, India, what I wanted. He asked expected questions, then said his was a businesses client line and gave me the original number. I am on that line again, same recording, it's 35 minutes and running.

The united hospital account $29,500 balance was suppose to be removed from transunion. We had an agreement that once I had made 18 payments on time it would be taken off as delinquent. They have been getting paid on time for two years now. Please remove.

Why is it so easy to subscribe to the 7day free 3 Bureau Credit Monitoring but when you decide to cancel before the 7 days....the number to call is impossible to locate. I'm very disappointed in the time I've wasted looking for a number to cancel the free trial!It should be clearly listed &easy to find! Just as easy as it was to subscribe to it! Please fix this!

I called to clarify my recent credit report. I spoke with two different customer service representative, I COULDN'T UNDERSTAND EITHER OF THEM. I asked the first three times for an english speaking operator. I finally resolved one of issues, but was unable to understand what effects my credit scores or how to improve them. Their answer was to send me a copy of my credit report which I already have. It only shows a graph and a number - no explanation of what those numbers represent.

Today I called TransUnion for a free complimentary credit report. The person I spoke to was nice and helpful. However, he is located in another country, I knew the accent. Why is everybody outsourcing to other countries? We need jobs here in the USA.
