I have now tried unsuccessfully to cancel my unauthorized renewal of my account, but can't seem to get any help. I am a senior citizen, need help, would have to forward this problem to the State Attorney General's Office to get help. I have 4 different phone numbers, none of them will help me.
Thank You. Renate McKfayAnonymous 2/25/10 1:43PM

Since I started using Trend Micro Internet Security, my system became much slower until it ultimately crashed. I finally brought the system back up and tried to uninstall and fill out the customer comments--both never came up. As charlatans go, the Trend Micro outfit is probably the best, bar none, a dubious distinction. I was bilked out of $57.00 for "intertet protection" evidently designed to bring my system down and then, when it was brought back up, Trend Micro offered (through a prompt) to "uninstall." Another "feature" I noticed after installation were a set of symptoms that appeared to be from some sort of keystroke intercept system that the company may have installed. Does this make sense? Well, of course it does: it's a 21st Century phoney money-making scheme. none 12/23/09 2:40AM

If you try to request a billing correction via their website as they suggest, you get the run around. Literaly from screen to screen! They stated they would issue a refund to me in an email and on the phone and then send me an email stating my "automatic renewal" has been cancelled. NOT the same issue! This company is bad news all the way. Their "business" model runs more on a scam model than any professional company I have EVER worked with. STAY AWAY FROM TREND MICRO, or you will be SORRY! Where is the real true about the antivirus + antispyware saling for $20.00 in Walmart and others stores ?. I bought one software and I made the installation, only I have one problem, before I don't had virus infection and now appeared 53.why? Plus look like a fricking game because the same software push you to buy antivirus pro. I think to return the products to Walmart and if they don't help me, Prepare some adverising and put in the store to help tell the customer about this trap. trinidadaulet 11/22/09 8:55AM

I purchased their product and was unable to get it to work. The next issue was contacting their support. I have come to the conclusion that it is one person who only works on a day when the moon is full. I finally asked for a refund and was basically told that it wasn't gonna happen because of the length of time that I had owned the product. When I pointed out to them that I had given them many opportunities to fix the product and that was the reason I had waited so long to request a refund their response was - Tough!! Never again will I purchase one of their products. AnOldGuy 10/23/09 6:43PM

Even though, Trend has charged me by locking my system up, I still have the same problem with them even though I have paid for their security system. There is a virus out there and it is TREND MICRO BILL 10/19/09 1:59PM

Worst customer service and yes we have to push # twice. Additionally they can't understand name spelling on the phone and so go directly to order confirmation number. when they ask you whether you use XP or Vista just give them the order confirmation number and cut the chase. I had to get my subscription renewal back as they charged my credit card without my permission. Not a preferred vendor and not trustworthy too. They don't understand customer concerns especially on the phone when someone is needing help urgently they are in La La land taking their cotton picking time to get to your needs. They do not list their telephone number on the emails sent as well.

Cannot contact customer service after product was lost due to system restore (2 year license agreement). No phone number other than an M-F, 8-5 number is provided anywhere. Anyone working normal business hours cannot contact the company for support! Marcou 8/29/09 8:04AM

The information was correct and got my foot in the door. I cancelled my subscription and hadn't received my refund. The information helped me to ask where the refund was. I am now waiting for a E-Mail from Trend Micro. Bob Guthrie, Houston, TX bobguthrie 8/3/09 4:33PM
