I checked on line for a phone from VTech and found one that I would like to purchase--this being model # DS6511-3. I called the number,, on the vtech site to ask some questions about his phone and if i wanted to order this phone after i received the information i wanted.I was unclear as to the performances of thisphone and how many phones there would be. I was told by this gentleman that they do not carry this model phone. I then asked him if he could give me a phone number to call to find the information I wanted and order this phone if it wa what i wanted. He told me to hang on, which I di , for a long ling tome. I then got a dial tone which ment this gentleman hung up on me. I must say this is great customer relations tactics. Anyway i then called the other number on the site which is where I got a machine that told me to enter the model number of the phone i was inquiring abut. I did this and was told by this machine that the model nunber entered is incorrect and got disconnected. To me this means there is no model number as this one. Another great customer ralations policy. My question is why does this company advertise this model phone and when you call yu are told there is no such number or told they do not carry this model.? I also entered the model number at the site where it tells you in th upper right hand corner to enter a model number. This returned can not find this model number.

I ask--is this some kind of marketing that gets you to purchase a different phone at a much higher price.?

This does not say much for VTech as a reliable company. I am sure there are many more customers like me that are now wondering if VTech is the company to deal with.???

was told that they do not carry this model--I asked the gentleman what number I could call to ask some questions in reference to this model and where i could order if if i wanted it. He told me to hang on which i did--for a long long time--then i got a dial tone which means he hung up on me-- I must say this is some way for a company to lose customers--I then called another number on the site which is 1800 595-9511 and I contacted a machine which told me to enter the model number of the phone, whuch I did. I was then told by this machine that there is no suck model number and disconnected.Another great customer relations policy. I am now thinking there is no such phone for this price and this may be some sort of sales pitch to have you order another phone at a much higher price.

I ordered my daughter several innotab accessories for her innotab 2 for Christmas. First I received other random items instead of the ones I ordered. That's fine, I thought, honest mistake. When my husband and I sent an email about it -we got no response. Then we called. We were told the items were sent. We never received anything several weeks later. We called again. We're told the same thing again. Still never received anything. We called AGAIN and received some of the items. So we called again and were told some of the items where out of stock, even though we we told they were all in stock and were being shipped. A few days ago we received one of the two missing items. Today, February 19, 2013, I received PART of the last item. Instead of receiving 3 different colored stylists, I received one single, unpackaged stylus in a bubble wrapped envelope! I read other customer stories and thought they were flukes but I should have listened. I will NEVER order anything from this company again.

Worst Service I Have Ever Came In Contact With.i Ordered A Folio Case For My Grandson Innotab2, The Charger Came Not The Case ,i Was Told I Did Not Buy It From Them. I Provided A Invoice Then I Was Told,check With My Post Office. Tell Me How The Post Office Opened My Package Removed The Case And Sent Me Only The Charger.please Help Me Get My Merchandise

Bought a vtech reader and mobilgo and several cartidges and online games. Well the v reader got a crack in it. It comes on, you push the button,and it goes straight to the certificates screen. Being an IT guy I can tell it just needs a new screen and a calibration. After going through a 3 step song and dance with customer service they told me to buy a new one plus they dont have a repair service for me. I find it hard to beleive that after I bought all of these games and cartridges and a perfect good machine cannot be repaired. I asked to speak with a supervisor, the technician held me on the line for 30 minutes on a cellphone till I was forced to hand up. Totally unacceptable. I know they are out to make money but no repair service,hell Im willing to pay. the technician said my supervisor is going to tell you the same thing. Of course the technician never game me that chance. It was all a stall tactic to get me to buy a new one after all this money I spent. At least 300 dollars on the V reader alone. What a let down. I am just going to buy my autistic daughter a Nabi 2. Vreader is good at selling you a bunch of crap but their customer service is a just a 5 point procedure that last 10 minutes at most and designed to tell you to buy it again......I cannot believe how I have been had for over 500 dollars. My daught likes the Mobigo from time to time but the V reader was kind of nice but the customer service is design to not service you but get your money

I Purchase Two V-tech Innotab 2 From V-tech. Receive One The Other One Was Undelieverable. This Order Was Placed On 11/25/12. I Never Received My Order, I Purchased Another Vtech At Target And Have Been Going In Circles Trying To Get A Refund
Since The Middle Of Dec. 2012.
I Finally Called The Number 1-800-521-2010 And Pressed 1 And Then 4 And Spoke To A Repersenative For V-tech. He Could Not Speak Good English So I Had To Spell Everything I Said. He Said I Would Receive A Call About My Refund In A Few Day. I Hope This To Be True However I Have Sent Several E-mails And Attemped To Call For Almost 6 Wks.

I bought the Vtech innotab for my daughter for Christmas and when we opened it christmas day, it was missing the battery cover. I also emailed Vtech and sent pictures and they told me to take it back to the store. Well I shouldnt have to take it back because it was missing a valuable part. The part should have been in there and if anything, the company should send me the missing part. But that is ok. Your company seems to not care about quality or customer satisfaction therefore I will take the gift back as well as the additional $100.00 in games and return everything, get my money back, and I will not buy another product from this company.

I brought a vtech model cs6429-2 and I have called several times and I have emailed vtech about this pile of crap and no responce. Never never buy a phone from Vtech. I work at a major retail store and I tell all my custermors not to buy a vtech phone. Warming WARMING ABOUT VTECH

I ordered a one day special bundle that included the mobigo 2, ac adapter, carring pouch, car charger and headphones. I did not receive the car charger or headphones so I send email to V-Tech customer service. 1st response was out of headset but have car charger do you want it. I responded yes and please send headset when available. 2nd response was your order did not include headset or car charger. They conveniently did not send an invoice and my order was not itemized. I think it was intentional.

I bought my daughter the Innotab for her birthday. After realizing the batteries last only 1 hour I ended up trying the rechargable batteries and they lasted the smae amount of time. I called customer service and they told me there is nothing they can do and apologized. He then proceded to tell me buy an AC adapter, so I did. Well the AC adapter wont work unless it has new batteries in it. If the batteries die even though u have it plugged in, u have to replace them in order it to work. Totally ridiculous. But having to continually using the AC adapter u cant just take it whereever u go and u always have to sit by a plug. I will never buy another VTech product again..

I ordered 3 gift sets two for my daughter and one for my brother. I received the package on the 18th but they didn't ship the handle (mobigo 2) but all the games and accessories finally after pressing 1 then 4 I spoke with a woman who was said she was sorry for not shipping it and they will send me another one in 5 to 7 business days. Needless to say my brother won't have anything to play his games on when Christmas comes!

I ordered two MobiGo software cartridges and received two InnoTab software cartridges for completely different learning games. I called the 800 number and hit 1 and 4 and did get to talk to a representative in India. He said they are sending me a UPS prepaid mailing label to return the software my son cannot use and concurrently will be sending the correct order to arrive in 5-7 business days. We'll see about that; I am hopeful. Either way my six year old son will most likely not have these to open on Christmas morning.

Silly me. Imade the mistake of living on the East Coast & buying your product. Didn't realize I had to wait untilmy day was half over to get service. Next time i"ll be more prudennt.

VTech kids is the absolute WORST! I have never been so frustrated with a company in all my life. There is NO customer service number. I have submitted an email, three days are and completed two online compliant forms, over four days ago, and I have YET to receive a response from VTech Kids. My item was undeliverable by the Post Office because of something they failed to put on my shipping label and my item was returned to them. Now they can't find it and will not refund my money until they can verify that they received it back. Meanwhile, the clock for Christmas is ticking and my child is not going to have her gift under the tree. There is NO customer service number and when you call the toll free number and press 1 and 4, you get technical support. He tried to be supportive but still can not send me a replacement, refund my money or anything. So what good is he. I am writing a letter to the BBB.

I ordered two Innotab 2's. My order status said processing for a week straight and when I emailed VTech to find out when the order was being shipped, they told me my order was shipped on 12/3/12 and all of a sudden the website was updated to show that as well (coincidence? I think not). I received my order another week later but the wrong product was in the box!!! I emailed them again and have yet to receive a response so I called and finally spoke to someone in customer service (after several attempts of trying to get someone live). She was not helpful at all. She told me that I would get an email with instructions of how to mail the incorrect product back, wait for a refund and then re-order the correct product.
First off, this is 2 weeks before Christmas. Once all of this takes place there is no way I will get the correct product in the mail to me by then. They didn’t even offer to overnight it to me. This is their mistake and they are making me do all the work to correct it. I work in customer service and I am extremely disappointed in the way this is being handled. I will never order from their website again and this experience has turned me off to Vtech products all together. If they cant get their customer service straight or even their shipments straight, how am I to have faith in the quality of their products?

I ordered a Innotab on 11/22. They took the money out of my account and shipped it 11/28 to another address! I found out after calling UPS, but I can't get ahold of a human to talk to about it on their customer service number. Never again will I order from them again!

Clearly if I am commenting here then its obvious. I beleive the only reason they are still in business is because they have a good tech team. Their extremely poor customer service is horribly beyond belief. Can't understand why 10days after the order was made, they simply can't update the status online and it still has to say "processing", really??? can't talk to a live person, no response to their preferred online enquiry. Yet they are quick to charge the crdt cards. two words for them. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

I totally agree with the previous postings! I am currently on the phone with them now. I place an order on 11/28/12 and it is still being processed!
I am really disappointed that a company with so many wonderful products has such poor customer service. I have emailed them twice with no response. Trying to contact them through their customer service hotline is ridiculous.
I did finally get a hold of someone and they have told me that my product was shipped on 12/3 but she couldnt provide me with a tracking number. I had I known it was going to be this hard I would have just ordered it through Walmart.com!

Wow where do I begin.... this is been 1 of the worst experiences ever. to start off with I went online and made a purchase of a VTech InnoTab and never received any confirmation of the order. so I called today to check the status of the order and wow 36 minutes later on the phone the customer service rep realizes that she had keyed in my email address wrong. then she proceeds to tell me that my order is being processed and that it takes 15 days to process my order.... that was supposed to be shipped to me in 7 to 10 days! I have emailed you people several times and got no response And I will definitely tell every single person I know about this experience I will never purchased nothing from VTech again

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. After trying to speak to someone for days, I figured it out. Call the customer service number on the website. Prompt #1 and then prompt #4. This will get you to a representative. Placed an order on Thanksgiving, the money was taken out right away but my order is still being "processed". Now they're saying they don't have my billing or shipping address on file. So many issues. I'm reporting to the BBB now.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE! The ONLY reason I ordered off of their website is they are a very strict policy of next day shipping. I ordered on the 22nd of Nov, and my order still hasn't shipped. My daughters birthday was yesterday, and I have no present for her. I am a single mother who worked very hard to buy her this gift. I emailed THREE times and no answer. I called customer service several times and was told that I would receive an email telling me they shipped. Didn't happen. I got on the Facebook website and started to complain and warn other buyers and guess what?? THEY BLOCKED ME AND DELETED ALL MY POSTS. Nice Vtech...real nice.

They dont have customer service. When I called the number to find out why my order still says processing when their webpage states it would ship the next day as it was ordered after 1:30pst, it directed me back to the web page. I pushed buttons and got a rep who wanted to blame UPS. he didnt even get it was still processing. Said he would email the warehouse and call me back. No call. Called the next day same thing.. you will get an email when it ships. I asked why does your shipping state next day shipping if you dont ship next day. Nothing. Spoke to a manager, sorry the plant is having issues with the shipping company. WHAT? put it in box, label and I am sure UPS will pick up. She said she will call corporate (wouldnt give me the number) and call me back. I emailed faq@vtechkids and vtechkids@vtechkids with no reply. I told them if I dont hear something I would dispute with my credit card company and call a lawyer.. I will never buy from the again. I bought from them for a gift that I needed right away.. Now I dont know if I will ever get it...

I have not recieved my order that I had place Nov. 17. Then I get an email from them earlier this week after posting my disgust on their facebook about having a delay because one item is out of stock. Now today they said that my order has been cancelled. WTH!!!!!! I have a few weeks until Christmas and now I have nothing after starting my shopping early!!!! I'm ready to start a class action lawsuit, if anyone is interested please post your interest. Thank you!!
