Wells Fargo completely messed me over and lied to me. I opened up an account with them and deposited a check from a Credit Union. The next day it showed the funds in my account and I set up a payment for my car. The next day they put my funds on hold. I called and the promised me they would not return my car payment. Lie. They did. Now my car may get repossessed.

WOW I'm glad I didn't open an account at Wells Fargo...
a friend of mine closed her account YEA!! Band told her she had to wait over two weeks to have funds available for a local check she was going to deposit ??
She closed her account instead and opened an account at a local credit Union..

Which had funds available immediately.. what is wrong with Wells Fargo???

May husband just past away I want to close our account and nobody can help me they say the account should be in zero, ok I said I'll take the money then they said oh no you need to closed in person then I make appointment to close the account in person they say oh no call customer service, then I call again and they say oh no is this other number then I call the new number and they said oh no you have to go to the bank, I can't take it any more, no body can help me and they keep making charges to the account.

I forgot my pin needed to reset it only able to send it in the mail can't overnight 5!to 7 business days . I don't have bankers hours can't get to bank .Beyond bad customer service . I will be leaving . They make it so the employees can't help you with their ridiculous rules that make absolutely no sense. Worst bank .

The worst customer service! WF cancelled all my 94 year old mothers accounts becuase she had a check washed by criminals. They said she was a risk. I called into the Fraud and Risk department to fix this and I was on hold for 2 hours, once the attendent answered the call he placed me on hold and the call hung-up in seconds.

Trying to close a deceased family member account. Had all the documentation. They haggled and delayed processing - it took 2 1/2 hours to get two small accounts closed. Ridiculous!! And to 'kill the timer' with computer, server, and processing delays and errors during the excessive wait the bank account rep asked ridiculously nosy questions.

Absolutely no Customer Service. Get all recorded messages and finally get recording saying you'll get a call back in 20 minutes from a banker. Instead you get a recorded call asking if you want to speak to a banker and if so press 2. Then you hear a recorded message saying they did not get a response and it hangs up.
Worst bank I've ever used. Closing my accounts!

My deceased mother had an account with wells Fargo. I am trying to close it and transfer the funds to a new wells Fargo account. I sent them all the forms that they require. Money has still not been transverse aftercacweek. I have not been able to talk to the account manger to know what is the hold up despite leaving a number of voice mails. Currently have been on hold forc45 minutes trying to talk to anyone that can help me resolve this issue. How are they even in business?

Called to discuss the decision about my credit card account application as the letter sent in the mail suggested if I felt there was any information that may have been misinterpreted in the decision. Unfortunately, the representative was unable to clarify why I was declined, and begin repeating herself a total of 5x about literally the words I was saying to her. Seriously? Couldn't even offer me another number to contact despite references these "other services" that made their decisions. The cherry on top was when I informed her again that I understood everything she was saying, asked if there is any way else she can help other than repeating herself about reapplying without changing anything on my application (couldn't even confirm whether the reapplication would result in another hard pull on my credit), and informed her that if she was going to repeat herself to please just let me know there is nothing else and wish me luck. What did she do? I probably don't even have to say it, but yes, she repeated herself. Absolutely the WORST customer service I have ever received, I have more respect for scammers than this service. I had to look up a way to rate the service for the first time just because of how disappointed I was. What a joke of Wells Fargo, ridiculous.

Just never understand how I can have an overdraft after I have made NO new purchases, and thank dog, I refuse to pay them when they screw up my balance. SO, nope, I will take the overdraft and put in money to cover your errors when I feel like it. Have a great day.

First of all, you ignorant idiot representatives need to learn some freaking respect & how to talk to people, just because you pathetic hood rat idiots work for a bank, doesn't mean your better than everybody, you can disrespect people, nor look ? your nose down like you all are better than everybody; because you all are not!!!

And looking at these filthy & disgusting reviews, this is EXACTLY why you all are the #1 worst, pathetic, trashiest bank in the entire world!!! You all's service suck, none of you all have genuine nor respectful customer service skills AT ALL!!! Especially the disgusting bastard Jake & the female Amy. I don't know why some off you all got hired in the first place.

Oh I forgot, because Wells Fargo is desperate, they always are. The exact reason their useless selves can't keep (Employees, Managers, Service, Life Long Customers "from when the bank first opened" or anything for the nature. Wells Fargo is nothing but worthless piece of garbage ? & always will be.

Wells Fargo will "definitely" be out of business before 2030 or 2040 because of their pathetic & worthless disrespectful banking service!! I hope you all's worthless service goes out of business for good or gets shut down. Nobody constantly & repeatedly wants to deal nor should ever have to put up with "WELLS FARGO" disgusting, pitiful & unprofessional useless banking service.

Make sure you pay your bill on time each month with Wells Fargo Bank N.A. I didn't get last month's bill, I remembered it was due but paid 6 days late so I was charged $27 late fee. I spoke with a CSR and then someone higher up but was told the fee couldn't be removed and a report would be filed with the post office for a missed delivery. I have been at the same address for years. So now I get to pay my bill plus $27. Can't wait to get this balance paid so I can shred this card. I was also told to remember my due date so it doesn't happen again. Yeah I'll be sure to do that. The fee should be removed. I'll make sure this doesn't happen again.

made a $300 payment got a confirmation, next month they said it was rejected. Made an $80 payment same information and it accepted. i was added as an authorized user and when i was asking for information they said that i wasnt added 3 months ago, but i was able to get information before. This company has been nothing more then a headache 1 st they couldnt find the account after calling and calling, now payment was "reject" even after a confirmation number another payment was made with the same information but i couldnt get any answers because i was not on file even when i was told i was on before.

Waited 3 times for over 40 minutes
Each time I called,just to give up!!!

Wellsfargo Dazed Me When They Decided To Close My Checking, Savings And Credit Card Accounts For No Reason Two Months Ago. I Called But All L Got Was For Business Need. I Wonder This Kind Of Treatment After Being With Thne Bank For 7 Years Without No Bad History. I Went To Their Branches But Nothing Could Be Done. I Regretted Ever Banked With Wells Fargo And I Have Informed Friends, Family And Others To Stay Away To Avoid This Unhumane Treatment. How Can A Bank Treat A Good Customer Who Have Been With Them For 7 Years Like This. And Suprisingly Yesterday, They Were Asking Me To Come And Open Fresh Account. I Saw The Invitation Letter In My Mail Box And I Said Seriously? Please Stay Away People!!

I made a stop payment the lady said I would charge me $31 To stop it. She did not say that it might not work. Well 4 days go by I'm negative so I called back and I said I want a refund since the whole point of calling was to stop the money from coming out and it still came out anyways . all he could do was refund me $7 . so I'm posse. He said they they told me when I called the first time it might not work. Well they can,rewind the audio and hear that the brod did not tell me. If I would I known I would not have called so I'm negative $40 can't get my $31 back only get $7 back. Tell me how this makes since?

The bank hides fees and will constantly rip you off, after 20 phone calls and 7 visits to the bank here in seaside park to cancel overdraft protection the bank charged me a 35 dollar fee,the bill is monthly and will be dbl the following month, I asked and was lied to about the protection and fees,the bank is horrible and after today will never be used by me again..get it in writing they lie and then tell you you must have misunderstood what was said...without ink on paper you will be robbed the bank is a joke, laughs on me this time

Back in 2012 I was out of work and unable to make my mortgage payment. I called Wells Fargo and explained the situation to them and asked if I could make a partial payment and was told no. So to buy food for my family I skipped the payment. Before this happened I had years of never missing a payment. Anyway I made a mortgage payment the next month and have since made every payment on time to them. What I found out later was every time I made a payment they used it for the month before and hence because of that one month I have seven late payments to them. It is really hurting my credit. I talked to one of their representatives today and was told that he would do nothing to take those off my credit report. He was rather smart about it. The long and the short of it is Wells Fargo is making me pay for losing a job that I had for 18 years. It is like they have me handcuffed to them as no other lending organization wants to loan me money due to that one month that turned into seven months.

Ok, so if your a single bank account holder and you write checks and use the ATM card you'll probably do alright with Wells Fargo but... lets put it in perspective - if your a power user and can't go face to face with these guys - they are the wrong people to engage with. Don't ask them to assist you with wire transfers, don't ask them to assist you with PIN's, don't ask them to assist you with... just fill in the blanks. These guys have absolutely horrible phone service with no authority to solve problems for the customer. If it doesn't flow through the problem solving tree then your out of luck.

went into close Safety deposit box on 5/25/2016 no one available to help waited 10 min. got up and left. went today said I owed bal. said no I had one bill sent to me paid it. Never got another bill or notice that was overdo. They want $115.00 that is more then I make off of them in 2 yrs. time. refused to pay it. well they said they can't close it. Fine nothing is in the box I have the keys.
The kicker is when I called customer service they can't find that location to give me number to call and or speak to a BANK Manager. The person could not even find the number for Sioux Falls S.D.where all notices are mailed from. I have 3 accounts there and I said well, guess money is not your concern I'll take mine else where. Do you think any body really reads these reviews to make their Banking improved. person waiting on me told me this will hurt my credit.
815 is my credit so guess I have some wiggle room and I'm 80 so not going to be
making any Large purchase's no I won't be getting $ from them and I'm taking mine out. I thought Syn ??? Bank was rude they told me I was not of legal age to open a charge card with them.

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They don't listen, they aren't even pleasant to talk to and definitely not helpful. They will not do anything for you nor do they care.
