After several years of faultless transactions suddenly SMS verification codes failed to arrive so I was locked out of my account in the middle of a large sale. Customer services are a disgrace, utterly unhelpful, just stock bot answers that did not solve the problem or give any route to a solution. Hours of fruitless frustration. It seems impossible to talk with a human customer service agent and I have no idea how to resolve the situation.

Do not help customers when items are mis-delivered or not delivered. Will actually punish you for complaining by putting a strike on your account and warning.

Ebay has a habit of removing listings for items that have clear pictures and receipts posted, ebay deletes them claiming they are counterfit. when you call it can take days to get a response. They cannot give you a decent answer for removing the items. They will give you adise on what you have to do to keep it from happening and when you do what they tell you to do they will still remove your listings. In one week they removed 26 of my Authentic listings that had receipts posted. Then they tell you if you repost them (ever) your account will be suspended. Ebay has become a very very very bad place to sell your items on. SELLERS BEWARE!!!!

total noobs sitting there as an agent, worst that a bot, it takes years until you get response, didn't read your concern, unable to reach via phone, dropping the chat in the middle of the conversation

Ebay customer service is literally the worst, most unresponsive system ever created. No wonder everyone scams on ebay. Theres no way to contact anyone, everythings automated with no relative info or resolve to anything you contacted them for. No idea how ebay is still in business.

EBAY's mail tracking system is terrible - routinely receive notification item has been delivered - but does arrive until up to a week later. In a couple cases. Item was nit received at all.

First and last time I will use ebay. Ordered an item, created account and 2 weeks later still cannot log in. Received wrong item, cant send it back. Called about 50 times and barely reached anyone.
The worst customer service I have yet to experience.

I been an Ebay user for at least 14 years. Now for no reason Ebay has dropped my Pay Pal Credit option for no reason. i don't owe any balance at all on the account. Also I have never been late on a payment. I tried to call a customer service rep abut you can never get anyone. The automation will just hang up on you. This company is on its way out. Management is horrible.
Go to Amazon instead.

I've had an ebay account since early 2000. Their customer service is non-existent and you have really no recourse if you have been scammed until after the fact. So if you are intent on using eBay make sure that your funding source is a credit card, so that you can do a chargeback and whatever shenanigans occur won't impact you. That said I just have no interest in doing business with these unethical clowns, eBay.

I ordered an item over a week ago and still haven't received it. When I wasn't able to contact the seller, I called eBay and they were worse than useless. The reps are almost unintelligible and quite rude. They insisted I download an app called "Any Desk" so they could verify my identity. Then, for some reason, they wanted me to download info from my credit union on the phone. When I questioned why all this was necessary, they called me argumentative and hung on me several times. I will never order another item from eBay, which has the worst customer service I've ever encountered! It's even worse than Comcast and that is saying a lot.

eBay has recently restricted my account because it leaked me to someone else's account that I had no idea about I've been calling every day for over a month trying to get this resolved and they tell me there is nothing I can do until this other person fixes their account that has nothing to do with mine this is such unfair business practices and I hope someone starts a class action lawsuit against eBay

i asked how to list an item so i wont break their policies. i got a generic answer, i sent pictures on how to do, they said its ok and guess what.. i got suspended for breaking policies :)) absolutely clueless employees.
zero help, zero solutions.. just "our policy.. "

eGay customer service is non-existent and there is no way to call a person when have a problem! It is the worst customer service I have ever attempted to use--you just keep on going in circles as you click on what you are trying do to get to person,. Its disgusting and frustrating!

I have been on ebay for over 22 years..customer service is terrible..it takes an act of congress to talk to live person..glad I'M about ready to retire..they care nothing about sellers..they only want more buyers..a sad business model.m

After over a dozen attempts to purchase an item on eBay and several phone calls to an eBay agent eBay managed to tie up my bank account with no completed sales for 9 days now making it to where I could not purchase the item I wanted elsewhere because my money was all tied up and my my account now is that a negative balance due to these failed sales and do you think eBay had any idea what was going on no they proceeded to tell me they weren't sure what was going on it was a technical glitch and then finally told me I had to put in a code and I would have to call before a purchase to get that code what a waste of my time my money I will never shop on eBay again customer service was lousy because no one knows what's going on

Ebay is most unreliable company which is ignoring the buyers and have collusion with the sellers. I bought an item in Feb 2022 and never received that one. In july 2022 the seller started to sell my item on ebay so he just stole my money and my item. I was having a long communication with ebay support team in which they promised 100 times that they will investigate the issue and take measures against the seller. After all they did nothing and just told that my case was closed. No further explanation were given and they do not respond to my messages. This is called segregation and discrimination against Russians.

My ebay account was permanently suspended for information and activities on my account that I had not even used. Ebay could/would not give me any information as to the said information and activities because it would be a violation of their policies. Total trash in my opinion.

This is by far the worst customer service/company I have ever dealt with. I recently started a selling account and added a few simple items. Next thing I know they "permanently suspended" my account and gave no further information. 2 weeks have gone by and no one from ebay can tell me why I'm suspended. This also means that I can't open any other new accounts. Its a complete joke and only a matter of time before this company folds when they treat their sellers like this.

eBay is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with - honest truth - Their customer service is one of the worst! Their agents are not helpful at all! As a seller it is very risky selling your items with little protection on being scammed and eBay takes no accountability. I have had multiple technical issues for over 1 year and nothing has been resolved. There new authentic measure for shoes is a joke! We have received items returned with missing parts or return back to us damaged and eBay is not interested in resolving these issues - It has been a living nightmare selling with ebay - I would never recommend ever selling or buying for them!

Seller shipped to wrong address but tracking still showed delivery to me. Ebay refused to even compare the delivery address with mine to see I never received it. Seller basically shipped to himself, so tracking shows delivered - just not to me! So I'm out $500. This was an obvious scam by the seller and Ebay is complicit in this fraud through their negligence in not checking the addresses. I live in Oregon and the package never even left New York!

Buyers BEWARE of purchasing anything on Ebay - if there is a problem and you do not get your package all Ebay will do is send a form letter denying your refund. Now I have to get the actual delivery address from USPS and send that to my bank to reverse the charge. A huge waste of time all because Ebay can't be bothered to do any investigating of even the simplest of things like the actual delivery address!

5 times this year they have withheld my funds, 5 different excuses, the latest says "you do not have any recent sales activity". Been with them for 18 years but no more. The worst company and customer service in the world.

Ebay Customer Service Is Joke- Try To Check On Complaint Status, Keep Getting Oops, We Had A Technical Hiccup Message, Day After Day. Not To Mention A Deadend Page Asking You To Create An Account, When You Already Have One. Seller Ripped Me Off, No Responses, Cant Even Figure Out How To Leave Negative Feedback. They Make You Go Thru Endless Hoop After Hoop And Get Nowhere On Getting A Refund, Or At Least To Do Something To Warn Other Buyers. My Money Is Gone, Item Never Even Shipped.
