My emachine is working, but somehow the

titles got removed.!--- i.e. the Personal Names on my CONTCTS got erased. The individual contacts are still there, but without the names!. Can someone help this computer illiterate old lady get the names returned to their correxct contact boxes?

this is the worst service i have seen. i have a brand new computer and it has no start up disc. i can't even talk to a person. i will probablly sell this piece of junk. faye by the way i answer my calls.

k so my number is 13 didgits nd i cnt even get through to anyone cause it is not a valid number wtf my computer works just fine but yet when i get on the damb net it crashes and or it just completely shuts down. i have tried to download drivers and what nots that it says i need. but stupid thing still does nothing at all. i would love to get help with this problem it is driving me crazy and it is bs when u buy sonmething and expect it to work and it doesnt. now i know it is not the internet cause we got two lap tops running off it and it is fine had another compuer desktop running off it worked just fine just this crap is junk. someone help me it would be nice since the customer service wont cause i got a 13 dig number and not a 11 dig..

Wow, after reading all the comments, I'm no longer surprised by the help I am NOT getting. I still have not been able to talk to a real person and have actually had tech support refuse to give me phone numbers to get help. My machine is also out of warranty but I just found out my problem existed when I bought the machine, my problems came to light because I needed to install new programs because I went back to school. I am also repeatedly told to do things that I have repeatedly told them have already tried and those solutions failed, they just don't pay attention. I to am contacting the BBB and AG in my state, eMachines needs to be fined and then put out of business for selling products they will not stand by. I will never again purchase this product.

I cannot reach any support -- have tried for days. My serial number is 13 digits, not 11, and it is not accepted, so I cannot get put through to a technician. extremely aggravated!

Worst support ever can't even get the man to understand my question because he barely speaks English!! Called back 3 separate times to try for a different representative but NONE of the speak English, when I asked to speak to a manager, general manager, etc. I waz told they did not have that information. Worst Tech Support ever, really, EVER.

I purchased an emachine in March. I started having a problem immediately. When I ran games of wmv files, there were lines in my monitor. I feel that it is a bad graphics card... On my first call, I was told that I should use IE instead of Firefox and that would take care of my problem. Obviously, it did not.

I then complained by email. They made various suggestions which did not work and finally agreed to having me send it back for repair. They sent me two different emails giving me instructions for shipping it back and links to print out a shipping label and contact the shipper. Would you believe, the links DID NOT WORK.

At that point, I could see that I was not going to get any satisfaction and gave up.

I purchased an Emachine and before the warranty expired the cd burner stopped working. I contacted customer service and was told they only way to receive help was to purchase another warranty. The cs number that came with the computer was no longer in service, the company was purchased by another company, and other problems. For over a year I just wanted to contact the company to help me figure out the problem and help me fix it. Today, I found a cs number and contacted them. I cannot get help until I purchase something from them.

I bought an emachine D525 laptop for my son in 2009. The laptop has held up really good until last month when it crashed. The hard drive was gone. We installed a new hard drive but the Windows product key was worn on the back so I called emachines to see if they could help. OMG, got agent that did not speak well english. Was informed that if you request a backup disk within the 90 days you purchase any product they will send it to you free but after 90 days you have to purchase. Wish I had known that when I bought the laptop from BestBuy. eMachines agent stated that BestBuy should have told me that since there is no paper work with the laptop stating that when I purchased. So if this is true. Make sure that you request a back up disk. Agent said you did not need Microsoft Windos Product Key if I use the backup disk.

OMG I hate these people!! I will never buy ANYTHING from them again. I bought my brand new high tech tower from walmart because I wanted all the fancy bells and whistles. Well we went on a two week vacation right after, and when we got back, I was going to burn the pictures from the trip. This POS will not burn in any format, with any software. I tried to return this $400 paper weight to walmart, only to find out that they wouldnt take it back because it had been 2 1/2 weeks since purchase...but to try the manufacturer's warranty. That's a freggin joke! When I called them they took me through 12 useless steps, and 3 seperate phone calls just to tell me that the cd/dvd drive is defective! A 5 minute google session told me that!!! So anyway, they tell me I either have to drive to Texas (from GA) for a repair, or I have to ship it to them...to MY expense!! Really people?!? I just paid $400 for a computer for the warranty, and the suposed high tech nature, and now I have to pay out an addition God-knows-how-freggin-much, plus insurance because the retards that built the damn thing had their thumb up their asses?!?! This company's service STINKS!! DO NOT BUY THEIR JUNK!!!

Just called emachine and spoke to a rep. This due to the fact my netbook completely crashed lastnight for absolutely no reason. I was instructed to restore the system completely and that I could not use the second option to save any data. NOT impressed at all. At least if it restores correctly the piece of junk will be working again. Never buying another emachine again...

I contacted emachines many times about some issues with my computer and have not recieved any help because they will not recognize the computer serial number. They just will not help or stand behind their products.

I have problem on EM, customer service told me their not gonna intertain my problem unless I have to pay a premium of $149.99, so I did pay that amount. According to them i just gonna watch them how fixing my computer because they have them in control then they transfer me on their technical support, TS let me press, that hold down that, turn on turn off, but nothing was resolve. I feel their TS don't even know what he is doing. Since they never fix my problem I ask if I can refund my money, they said it's not possible . I ask them to transfer me on the dept that handle the acct. They said they don't have access. I ask a number that handle the acct. They don't know or they have that number. It end up that I just waste my money paying them w/ out their service. I promise nobody I'm my family gonna buy again their product/service. I'll pray and I wish this company go buncraft.

Today I called EM customer service number just to ask a general question regrading monitors my desktop willsupport. The telephone CS systim is a disgrace, worthless and rediculous. Five times I clearly stated my serial number and could not get through to a person. EMachinse has the worst customer service I have ever dealt with; correction: it has absolutely no customer service. Based on my experience after buying one product from EM, I sensed I do not need to deal with such morons; this has been confirmed by today's experience. EMachines never again, there's too much competition.

This is bs.... you can't talk with anyone about the issue I am having. I'm in town due to my father just died at the age of 90 and I'm trying to help my mother who is 87 figure out where her product key is located to run her Windows 7 and due to their machine is out of warranty the recording disconnects the call. Now that is screwed up!! No customer service or care.

Called Emachines warranty number. They transfer me to a "recommended technical support" company that is selling and wants to charge me money before we touch my computer. First clue i was at 3rd party sales company, they asked what brand computer i have. miserable.

when you need to talk to someone about your computer because its not workin and your snid number is worn off then your screwed because then you cant fix it because they wont let you talk because the recording doesn't understand that your computrer keeps freezin and you don't know why this is some BS

I made a call to eMachine just to find out what size case fan i can use on my pc.took 15 minutes to get to someone.then he didnt have a clue what i was talking about and kept asking the same question over and over.what was my phone number?

I will be the first to say this by far the WORST customer service I've ever received. I thought over and over if I should have emachines or whatever they are called fix my computer. Microsoft couldn't fix it they told me I needed a new hard drive and a new recovery disc and they went inside of my computer they couldn't fix it.

Okay so I call emachines they CLAIM they can get my computer up and running so I figure what the heck. I'll pay 99.99 and get it fixed. Well they told me the SAME thing that Microsoft told me. They even did the same thing that Microsoft have done. Computer not fixed. They refuse to give my money back they said they are in no position to give me a full refund. I'm having my bank which is Bank Of America dispute this charge for me. I will say you are better off calling microsoft they will actually look at your computer for 60.00. If they can't fix it they won't charge you a dime.

DO NOT contact e-machines for any kind of help they will rip you off. They even had the nerve to try to charge me an additional 149.95 the NERVE.
