MY feed back you have a terrible return policy and you are using a virus to cover up your short comings.
You sent me a defective product and it's like pulling teeth to return it an recapture some of my money back.

The Virus had no affect on your personnel when it came to charging my credit card but to return it the virus has crippled your office what B....Sh...

I have been trying to return my item for the past two weeks and I wrote emails three different times and received the same delay tactics that you use due to the Covid19 we a re protecting our employees. Covid19 had no effect
when you withdrew $72 from my credit card did it? cut the baloney send me a return label and an RMA so I can recover some of my money after you sent me a defective product. Instead of your standard BS message if you cant send me a label email me the address and return authorization as where I have to ship this product. You may be ACE in name but bot in Customer Service.

Better tell your associate stores about your return policy. I purchase a 1 gallon lawn/garden sprayer recently from White Jones Ace Hardwar, Anderson, SC and tried to return because I found it defective the first time using. It does not hold pressure as others I have purchased from Ace Hardware and the spray tip nozzle would not adjust spray. A clerk filled it with water and said it worked fine and refused to take it back even though I wanted to purchase another sprayer. I told him I would not shop ay any store that would not honor their return policy and he didn't seem to care. The sprayer DOES NOT work to my satisfaction.
I guess this is the end of my shopping at Ace Hardware, so discontinue my Reward program.

I visited our local ace hardware in Wheatland Wyoming today first time in roughly 5 weeks and I must say I was very disappointed in the overall exterior of the place, weeds everywhere some 3 foot high, this was over the entire area of the outer parking lot. I must ask are the managers and employees that lazy that they are unable to maintain a clean environment. Very poor and not safe.

We have been shopping at Ace Hardware in Du Quoin, IL, for a long time. However, since the pandemic, no one in the store is wearing masks. None of the employees wear masks and have even heard them laugh about getting complaints because they are not.
Very few customer are wearing masks. I vowed to quit shopping there, however I did go in there today. I had a mask on and when I walked in I was overwhelmed with cigarette smoke all through the store. Not sure what the issue is with this store, but I predict it will be out of business soon. Do not shop here.

Bought a 12 volt battery charger couple months ago try to return it they wouldn't take it because it was past 30 days. I had my receipt never out of package. I just lost my business for life Ace. I'll sell this on eBay get half price for in never shop Ace again.

Employees are Greenville,Ohio, including the owner do not wear face masks. When I inquired why no one was wearing one the cashier informed me that they received an exemption. In Ohio, this is not permitted. How can they do this.

I recently bought an item that the manager told me would work. It didn't. No returns. I feel screwed.
Ive shopped at Ace for decades but won't be back again because of this experience.
Too bad. I always appreciated the convenience.

My first online order for Ace local store pickup was a nightmare.

After collecting all the items I needed, I checked out with charge card pay. The order review indicated all items available and reedy for pickup the next day and to wait for email verification before going to the local store. Two days, no email. Called the store. The manager did not know about the order. I waited on hold while he checked the store computer for information. He came back to me and said some items were not available and the others would be ready in ten-days. Ten days to pull 6 items? The next day, I cancelled the order and received email listing all were cancelled , 3 days later I received email indicating some of my items were ready to pickup. There is no home office phone number on the Ace web site. Only FAQ and email options.

All Ace stores need to provide their employees with PPE ( face masks) to ensure safety of themselves and of their customers. The Ace store in Menomonie Wi does not require employees to wear any coverings nor take into account social distance procedures. As covid cases increase, and lack of PPE/social distance, customers will begin to shop elsewhere or even online.

I ordered patio glass table $144.15 including taxes from Ace Hardware. The table was delivered 3 days later than was scheduled and glass was broken. $125 I paid for shipping. After the long conversations Ace returned the money for the table but not for delivery. This is not fare. I did not cancel the order. They just came to my home, told me that the table was damaged during loading to track and went back because i refused to accept the broken item. So, they still $125 from me. Damaged order is not my fault.

Complaint: ACE Hardware Holly, Michigan 48442. please note, this store is allowing their employees NOT to wear proper PPE ( FACE MAST). These employees are on the floor in direct contact with customers. When questioned, the response was they are given their own choice. The Michigan E.O for small stores is all employees are to wear mask. Very uncomfortable and clearly unsafe not to mention against the rules. Please address ASAP.

Ace website says "Items purchased online can be returned to any Ace retail store." Too bad it doesn't work that way. I was going to give Ace another try and was informed they can't accept returns from other stores. Menards is now my go to, they have no problems with returns.

It takes 20-60 minutes to reach an agent. Then they don't complete their "help" and put you back on hold and never return to the line. I am now on my third call trying to get through to a manager. Ridiculous and frustrating!

I guess ACE hardware all over the US isn't doing returns or exchanges. Thats BS. Get this straightened out or go out of business. Homedepot and Lowes aren't making excuses due to COVID19

Never again will I buy anything from Ace Hardware. I have two unopened items I've wanted to return for months but keep being told they're not accepting returns. I asked "when might you start accepting returns" the manager said "when the virus is over". I asked if he had a ballpark idea when I should contact him again about returns, he said snottily "how do I know when this virus will be over?"

The hell with it. I'll just keep these items that I know I'll never need. If this Ace Hardware in Howell, Michigan was the only hardware store in the country open I wouldn't go to it.
I am permanently done ever shopping at any Ace Hardware business in the future.

Went to my local ace hardware to purchase Round up grass and weed killer. Well it was $22.99 for 1.33 gallons. The same item at Home Depot was $9.98. How can you justify a 100% plus mark up. That's straight up thieves. Believe me this is going all over social media. By by Ace Hardware.

I am an employee with the ace hardware located in Luverne Minnesota. Due to the Covid situation, and precautions that were not being taken in my store, myself and another employee chose to take time off as ordered by our governor in Minnesota. We were told by our operations manager we would not be paid Unemployment, we would not be helped by FMLA, and we would lose our home and electricity would be turned off because we would have nothing to fall back on. This is the shortened version of what we had to go through there. The main manager of our store, is no help, because he and the operations manager have been having an affair for many years. It would not be any of my business if this was kept out of the store, but it hasn't been, and there are many employees that have left because of it. Since leaving due to Covid, I filed a complaint with corporate, OSHA, and now guided by an associate to file a retaliation claim with ethics point, and this has just gotten worse. I have been in contact weekly with my manager, and the other employee myself had said all along that if the precautions were taken to protect us and our customers, we would be glad to go back into the store,And asked that they please let us know what they were doing to be compliant. We have not received any comment back other than an OK. In the meantime, within the store, the operations manager has told people to flip us off if they see us, and they are telling the other associates at the store and customers who come in to ask for us, that we no longer work there. We have never quit, nor have we ever been told we were fired, And at this point we are seeking guidance. We have tried to text the manager and ask what the situation is with our status at the store, and he will not answer us, the HR and district manager is of no help either. We do not know if the owner of the store has been getting an update on anything that is going on, but at this point we are frustrated and we are ready to seek other actions. This is been extremely stressful, unnerving, and unhealthy for us To have to wonder and worry about what's going on and what the next retaliation against us will be. I would like somebody to contact us immediately please, for guidance so that we can end this situation. This has been completely unprofessional from the very beginning, and action does need to be taken. Thank you for your time.

Don't buy from ace. They are the worst. Seriously I can't believe how horrible this business is. I really think they want to go out of business. If you buy online, you can not return to stores. And trying to get a hold of customer service is nearly impossible. I have called five times, spending roughly an hour on hold each time. The agents says they are sending me the return label. But it never comes. Also you have to pay for returns. Do yourself a favor read this review and stay as far away from ace as you can.

Visited Tudors Hardware 1642 Sparrow Road Chesapeake Va 23325. The sales assistant was sneezing and coughing. He stated I do not have Covid just bad allergies. I asked the Owner if he provided mask or if any employees wore mask. He stated the " Covid thing is no worse than the normal flu and that it will go away". The mask recommendation in His view is another step toward Socialism and redistribution of wealth. A customer who entered the store wearing a mask removed his mask and stated" I am tired of this thing any way and high fived another customer. I have attended Zoom funeral or several friends who died from Covid. I am canceling my membership and will never go back to Tudor Hardware.

Purchased a Lawnmower online, to be picked up 30 miles away in another city. Stated it was in stock at that location. However within a few hours I found the same mower locally. So I followed the order cancellation procedure and emailed them the cancellation. I then picked up the mower from a local store. I still have not received a confirmation e-mail about the cancellation. On the status page it still list preparing for pickup. This is 4 days later. My credit card has been charged, this is an expensive battery powered mower, not cheap. Have sent several e-mails no response. I tried calling on several days, impossible to get a rep on the phone. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Will never do business with them again. At this point doubt I'll get my money back. How can a company of this size have such horrible customer service. Do not do business with them online.

Ace would not accept a return due to Covid virus, and they were huffy about it. Bad attitude at Cermak Road Ace in Berwyn, Illinois. Will not return to them again
