My daughter and I travelled on the 1240 service from Glasgow to Euston. Staff were excellent, but usual luggage storage problems.
We had enjoyed a family wedding, and I thought I'd make the return journey more relaxing for us, and finish our lovely experience off by paying for an upgrade if it was a possibility.
I asked the male on board manager if it was possible. He 'barked' at me - 'Do you know how much people pay to sit in First Class?' And several other patronising comments ending in 'It isn't available on this service.' I said to him, that is all he had to say, without his aggressive manner. In fact - I was British Airways Cabin Crew for 30 years, and well used to upgrading people when it was necessary to make seats available for families who were split up,or for people celebrating. Never with a charge!
The return service left Euston on the 25th August at 1316. Regrettably bad initial Customer service.A

Puchased the Avanti CK3616, came with a bent front, the drawer had grinder marks under the paint, then the drawer slider/roller released it's bearings a week later.
trying to contact their customer service....when they answer, they ask what you need, when you start talking, they put you back in the queue, to wait for 4 more customers. crappy service. crappy quality control. the front was bent, due to poor packaging method. too bad, it's an ok product in a niche field. Hope they get their act together. at this point, wish I'd gone elsewhere.

Completely hopeless. Just had to take Glasgow Edinburgh train owing to cancelled west coast services. Gaurd charging me the fare because although Scotrail had tried to contact you there was no reply so they were not authorised to let us transfer across to edinburgh gratis. No word from you. I will be seeking a refund of the £15

We purchased a Avanti range on 11/21/2016 and paid out over $500.00 brand new. The oven on this range hasn't worked from day one!!! We called the repair service and it took them forever to come out and check the stove and they didn't even have the part in which to fix it. They then told us they would have to order the part but, that they would have it shipped over night and would call us the next day in the afternoon. THAT NEVER HAPPENED! I had to do without a stove for Thanksgiving! It is now Dec 23 and I still don't have a oven and will not be able to cook Christmas dinner! All we kept getting were excuses and no repair of the oven!This is a awful way to treat the customers who purchase your products and not a good way to run a company. When we called customer service there should have been a repair man sent out right away to fix the issue!!!! We will never purchase anymore products from this company! The worst repair service I have ever encountered!!

I thought I just sent an email to corp, but I am not sure it went thru. I have had 4 bad experiences with the Pekin Avanti's 4 orders have been screwed up and when I called this evening I did raise my voice when I told a male manager that we have had 4 problems and he said I don't think so. Then he told me I have an attitude problem I believe he has a problem. I will never order from the Pekin Avanti's or go to that Ristorante again I have done. I have eaten there and ordered several times,but never again.

I am having the same problem - product is not of the quality you would expect. This is the worst appliance I have ever purchased. And customer service/warranty/helpfulness if less than desired.

I purchased an Avanti wine refrigerator from Pacific Sales in Huntington Beach, California. It never worked properly. We have had two service companies come to service it. Once they determine that the control board does not work, they do not return. Avanti has been unprofessional, Pacific Sales has been worse. No one will take responsibility for the broken appliance. Apparently, we have to file a small claims against both companies. Meanwhile, we are out over $700.00. and are stuck with a non-working appliance. This is ridiculous. Do not buy Avanti products if at all possible!

I am a very frustrated customer who purchased a large wine cooler from Avanti and 1 year after purchasing the unit will not work. I am told by a customer service department that does not return calls that the unit cannot be fixed and have a good day. This is worse than a bad experience. Do not purchase from this company.
