terrible says it all, what a jerk around, nothing but BS and keep passing u from person to person then disconnected. after two times i gave up and went to amazon. my purchase was processed @ amazon in minutes and i was on my way. i won't bother with buy.com again.

We apologize me Lozano, unfortunately we haven't been able to contact the manufacturer, we will call you in the next 48 hours.......Stupid customer service in Pakistan, try asking for their supervisor and then to the manager...it helped me to express my refund.

BUY.COM is the most difficult, the most inflexible company to deal with when it comes to obtaining a REBATE. Trust me, if they're asking you to send in the required documentation, you cannot stray from those one iota!

For a rebate of $20, the requirement was for:

(1) signed rebate form (easy enough, the link is provided).

(2) the original UPC label peeled from the product's side panel. There's only ONE, so when you attach it to your signed rebate form be sure to make at least one copy for your records.

(3) a copy of your receipt.
Ahh... here's the GOTCHA! You see, Buy.com does NOT provide you a receipt at any time. None is mailed to you, none is included in the shipping box. Are you starting to get the picture? Do NOT print out what appears to be a receipt from Buy.Com when all it really is is your order confirmation. That will NOT fly with the rebate department.
What is not known, and what is not told to you the customer, is that you must go online to BUY.COM, log into your account, go to your order history and then click on the link for a printable receipt.

THIS IS A MAJOR FAILING and is the main reason 99% of the rebates are declined. So, if you are a glutton for punishment, my friend, and you just haven't had enough aggravation in your life, then set your calendar to 3-4 weeks to go online to:

You'll need several bits of information in order to obtain the status of your rebate:

1- Your email address
2- Your tracking number
This was provided when you initially REGISTERED ONLINE to obtain your rebate. After registering they'll provide your tracking number. Immediately drop everything and WRITE THAT NUMBER DOWN! Without it, you might as well goodbye to obtaining your rebate. You can NOT check the status with just your email address alone. This is another GOTCHA! BUY.COM makes the process as complicated and convoluted and confusing as possible in order to eliminate the easily confused and/or poorly organized rebate filer.

So good luck and have fun following up with your customer service person from Manila, Phillipines. The satellite feed to their takes time and the call quality is horrible.
By the way, yell & scream your head off will not get you anywhere with these Stepford Wife clones hired to represent them. All they repeat over and over again like a broken record (you'll SEE) is "I'm sorry... blah blah blah" or "I understand.." and then dance around the question, failing to address the specific concern or question. In short, it's like talking to a parrot or mynah bird.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING ON BUY.COM. If you try to make a change to an order they will punish you for it. They had the wrong mailing address and they got all confused when i tried to tell them about it. instead of sending to the correct address they said the only way was to cancel and reorder. i canceled, but didnt reorder. they ended up sending it to the wrong address and bouncing it around the country for 4 weeks and still dont have a refund. i have to call them twice a week. i'm not sure if they are doing this on purpose or are just grossly incompetent.

Buy.com used to post their phone number on the website - as part of their banner. But I don't see it or can find it anywhere on the website anymore.

I have purchased many items on Buy.com and am usually quite satisfied with the products, delivery, notification, and if necessary, customer service.

The only reason I came looking for the phone number is I bought a product and a Square Trade warranty for it. The refurbished product had some physical damage and so I returned it for a return. But they ran out of the product and issued a refund.

However, I had to contact Square Trade separately for the refund. They sent me a check, but it did not include sales tax that was charged on the warranty purchase.

I contacted Square Trade again, and they told me that they hadn't collected tax as they currently don't take tax for every state.

The Buy.com rep took my call, checked my order, and said she would request a refund for the sales tax in question.

So, I have no complaints with Buy.com and will continue to recommend them as a vendor.

I did give a low score for Reachability, as I had to go Googling for their phone number. That is unacceptable. At least they had someone on the other end of the line when I called, right away.

buy.com is the only online retailer that I have ever had any problems with.. their customer service is horrible. I tried to return an order that I purchased for christmas and they have yet to post the return to my credit card (its now march). I have called dozens of times and they try to blame it on my credit card for not having posted the refund. They continually have a "specialist" review my transaction and get back to me. I have still never received a call back. I will never purchase from them again

I placed an order with your company on 2/19/2011 and was this was not the first and was hoping it would not be by last order from your company, but it will be from me and anyone I will talk to.I called your company 2 weeks later several times to see if my order i had paid for and had cleared my bank was on it's way and was told NO. you had not sent my order because my mailing address and the ship to address was not the same.That had nothing with my order you had my money and a po box was to small to have an package sent to me. I had ordered a lamp for my tv and it was sent to the address i wanted the other order to be sent to.
I have yet to see my money refunded and or my order sent to me. i liked your prises but will not have anything to do with you again. if this is the way you treat your customers well i will make sure others know how you work!!!!!! Now I want to hear from someone about my refund ASAP.

Do not allow Buy.com to get your email address. I did and I have never been able to get them to stop sending me emails. Everytime I go to their link to stop these emails, they give me a message that the service link to do this is not functioning at the moment.
Never giver buy.com your real email address. They are spammers.

buy.com is horrible!!! Will NEVER purchase from then again. I made a return and have been waiting for a refund over a month already..... they are still "working" on it. This company robs you and could care less if you are satisfied. God forbid to deal with them again!!!!!

I ordered a book from Buy.com and it arrived in SPANISH....I returned the book asking that they send me the English version. Once again it arrived in SPANISH!!!! When I contacted them through the 800 #, they said it's not available in English!!!!!!! I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone!

I just ordered a Mac Pro from Buy.com and noticed it had my old address on there. I called th Buy.com right away to change the shipping address and they said they could not change it until they cancel it. I opted not to cancel it since I still have access to my old address but they STILL CANCELLED my order anyway. I shouldn't have called Customer Service... they just SCREWED UP my order! This company should definitely do something about their customer service dept!!!

I have been trying to place an order for the past three days for 100 DataRight 627 DVD-R, but all I get is an order confirmation followed by a Refund from Buy.Com a couple of hours later. I have ordered several items from you before and was extremely pleased, but now I can't get an order filled. What is the problem???? Do you no longer want my business? If so, please tell what I did wrong? I have tried sending you and e-mail through Customer Service, but it seems the address is not a good address. I am tired of the run around. Thank you.

THIS IS NOT A GOOD WEBSITE TO PURCHASE SENSITIVE ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS.

Worthless in terms of being able to support the customer. Received an item with damanged packaging the best they could offer is a refund while they have nearly identical replacement available. Stayed on the phone for over an hour getting tossed between customer service and sales without any resolution.

calling to get tech support for an item purchased..... oh they just hung up on me... the chick couldnt pull up a number for the company whos product they sell, put me on hold presumably to get me to her supervisor or some one else who could help and, then promtly hung up.
these people deserve profanity.

I believe Buy.com is a scam. I believe this company works in connection with other internet scam businesses. Let me tell you why I believe this to be true. I purchased an electronic item from Buy.com. I have a limited income so I must shop sales to get by. The item was a great discounted price and I was very excited to receive the product since I have limited funds.(FIRST WARNING, PRICE IS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE) When I received the item, it was a completely different cheaper electronic item. It appears there was an error in the listing on the Buy.com sites. Buy.com told me to communicate with the third party company because they are only a listing agent. The third party company informed me it would take over 30 days to get my refund. This really concerns me because I am not familiar with this company.(ANTOline.com) In all phone conversations, I was told I would receive a call back. I never received any calls back and I had to initiate all attempts to try to clear up the transaction.(SECOND WARNING, DIFFICULTY IN COMMUNICATING WITH THE BUSINESS IF THERE ARE PROBLEMS) Though Buy.com was very apologetic, I do believe they are apart of an internet scam. The amount of money I sent to Buy.com is a lot for me. I am concern about receiving my refund.(THIRD WARNING, WILL TAKE A LONGER THAN USUAL TIME TO RECEIVE REFUND)I printed a copy of the original listing on the Buy.com site. I also have a copy of the shipping invoice. Can any one offer any suggestions? I really do not want to loose these funds. Also, has anyone thought about filing a class action suit against Buy.com?

I bought an Imation 64 GB Solid State Drive from Buy.Com. Drive doesn't work, freezes mouse cursor after an hour of work. Imation installed latest firmware, still same problem. Now they do not return my phone call or respond to email. Called on Dec 20, today is Dec 29. Zero.
Imation Tech Support (recording) says they answer all calls within 24 - 48 hours. Yeah, right! Buy.Com is OK, Imation is the problem. Ratings below are for Imation.

Placed an order 2 weeks before Christmas, with 2 day delivery which I paid extra for. A week after placing the order I noticed my order was not shipped. when I called to find out the reason why and after going back and forth for 3 days no resolution had been reached. I was told the call was from California but I don't believe so. This was the first problem I have ever had with them and the customer service is so bad that I will never buy from them again.

your customer service sucks, I was on hold for 25 minutes. Judy and Sucre the supervisor was the best reps that you have in the company. I'm in customer service for a company were we deal with a high volume of calls daily. No excuses, I will use the 10% of discount and I will never use this site aaaaaaaaagggggggggaaaaaaaiiiiinn, ya how about we get you a size 10 when I ordered a size 9, Really. How about you order a size bigger than what you wear.

TERRIBLE!!!!!! I ordered a Flip HD Camera, and what I got was a hd photo album. After holding for about 5 mins, got a non enghlish speaking person and evrything they told me was wrong. The original company would contact me within 24hrs(not), if they did not contact me call buy.com (another 5min holding time and no english speaking person) and they would suspend their privilages(they did not), Been a week still no resolve to problem. have called company no less than 8 times and still have gotten no where and no flip camera and no credit FRUSTRATING I Will NEVER USE THIS COMPANT AGAIN

The worst custmer service I have ever experienced!!! I will never order anything from this company again. They had no interst in helping me solve why my order was cancelled. I listed both a PO and physical address and they told me to reorder and take the PO off of the address. No interest in helping what so ever!

Do not order from this company. If you do, pray nothing goes wrong with the ordering process because you will have not receive any help from them.

The WORST customer service ever!!! There is an Acer Aspire One advertised for $199 and says it has a 6 cell battery. when you click buy, the description changes to a 3 cell battery...bait and switch...fraudulent! Called customer service 3 times, put on hold endlessly...still waiting on a call back!
