This past week I have missed 2 papers. I didn't call about the first one, knowing that the weather was so bad....
But, not getting my paper today and calling and being told I would get one by 11:30 a.m.......
That didn't happen....I called and asked to have this paper taken off my bill.
I have been a customer for 40 years.....I love the Tribune......but, the paper has gotten expensive recently and whenever they say they will
Take it off my bill it never happens......

I have been a subscriber to the Tribune for over 50 years. The cost of daily delivery is unbelievable expensive, but I firmly believe in the printed newspaper as a source of news. However, I have noticed that many of the articles are reprints from other newspapers and our own Chicago journalists are playing a diminishing role in reportage in all sections of the newspaper, especially in the Arts and Entertainment area. I do not agree with the editorial board most of the time. I am not a fan of John Kass. I am distressed about the shrinking of the contents and the replacement of seasoned writers. But the last straw is the elimination of the daily tv girid. Since I already pay a lot for a yearly subscription I do not want to pay another fee for on-line tv information which has always been a feature of the paper.. Surely, the elimination of the tv grid does not add substantially to operating costs. Please put back the daily tv listing.

Dec 27th 2020, where is the Comics section and the Sudoku for 12/27. I switched to the electronic version of the Tribune because of horrible home deliver of the paper version. Electronic version not much better, often whole sections not sent. What a disappointment, No Motormouth Bob Webber column today either.

Have Sent Over 20 Messages To Customer Service About A Missed November 11 Missing Paper. Promised A Re-delivery And A Phone Call From Local Distributor. All Were Broken Promises. Can'r Talk To A Human Being.

The service for my delivery has been the worst ever. I'm sick and tired of calling so many times on Sunday's .
I have repeatedly requested to speak with the manager
Of distribution in my area and assured he will call within 24 hrs and that never happens.
If I don't get a call back this time , I will never get the tribune again. It's sad that you will lose customers due to this repeated missed Sunday paper. My neighbors paper is always there . Very very poor service . Pls have a manager call me 708 860 3414 Nancy Reif palos heights Illinois

I have a subscription for the Tribune delivery. I have called for over two weeks about delivery. Contract states paper will be delivered at 6:30AM. Never delivered until after 7:15AM. Each time I called, I am apoligized to and assured this matter will be taken care of the next day and I will have my paper at 6:30AM. Never happens. All BS
Do I have to cancel my subscription? Complete incompetence of the delivery person, customer service and newspaper.

E paper is just unexceptionablely non functional.
Understand that these are stressed times, but:
Don't these people know that this medium is their future???
Very sorry state of communication affairs.

For years, the distributor that covers the 118th & Laflin block has been blasting his loud music in his car or truck. I heard it today at 4:15 in the morning in the back of the house. This tells me that the tribune doesn't care about the customers it sells to.

Subscribed to Sunday triubune 7 weeks ago, have received one paper so far.
Call in to complain each time to no avail.
Still get billed.
And wonder why they go bankrupt now and then. What a why to run a business.

I've left two messages today in regards to my not getting my Sunday paper. After checking with the neighbors who received their a Tribune, I'm concluding that someone may have taken it?
I'd like to suggest for the paper to be delivered on my driveway closest to my front yard. Thank you

If the City Of Chicago is so broke why are there so many private contractors doing all this work I see construction everywhere I go in the city of Chicago and these contractors do not even live in the city of Chicago I'll bet you most of them are living in the suburbs

We've been Chicago Tribune subscribers for 30 years. The weekly paper used to arrive by 7:00AM and Sunday by 8:00 AM but now weekly is usually 10:00AM and just got our Sunday paper now at 11:00. We were going to switch papers until we found out same person delivers all the print papers. There is no one is Chicago that you can talk to about this. If you call thei customer service, you will get someone in the Phillipines who doesn't know what you're complaining about or doesn't care. I continually go online and ask for a refund. We are getting close to dumping the Trib due to delivery problems. They just don't seem to care anymore about their print edition and we absolutely hate their digital edition..it's not navigable at all.

I have had delivery issues for the last year. papers wet ,not delivered, not in bags properly, delivered to wrong address.
Have dealt with outsourced vendors in the Philippines. it is awful !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Chicago Tribune delivery is a COMPLETE JOKE!!
I have been having delivery problems for over a YEAR. The best part is NOBODY THERE cares. I have spoken to numerous customer care reps/supervisors/customer advocates and such, yet it CONTINUES !!
So, I guess the only way to make them understand is for me and all my friends/family to cut ties with them once and for all. PLEASE don't believe that your delivery problems matter to them at all. EVERYTIME I call I have to decipher what they are saying through a thick Phillipino accent, yes their call center is in Manilla, Phillipines !!! Sunday paper didn't arrive until 11:45 AM...seriously? By the time I get the papaer the news is already old !!
Good-bye Tribune....the problem IS THEY are the ONLY newspaper delivery system in my area, so WHATEVER newspaper you get delivered here, THEY DELIVER IT !! So you will get really bad delivery of ANY newspaper...what a JOKE!!

7am haven't received my Sunday paper 111 n. West street

I have been a Chicago Tribune subscriber for decades and I am completely fed up with their nonexistent customer service. There is NO WAY to speak to anyone in the United States, much less Chicago. Every single call goes to the Philippines. Most of the time the "service" people there speak too fast and with such a heavy accent, they are unintelligible. They also promise to do things and then don't. I've struggled with them for years! The Tribune offers no other way to contact anyone, so it's just around and around and around with the Filipino people. No wonder the paper is going under! Get a clue, Tribune, hire people who will actually straighten out problems with bills, delivery, and everything else. For years you haven't cared about your subscribers and you've paid the price. Good-bye and good riddance.

I just cancelled my subscription after many years. I started with 7 days a week then went to 2 days a week due to delivery problems. The delivery service is terrible where I live. Yesterday they said they would deliver a paper and never did after I called. Each time I call they are going to escalate and nothing happens.

The delivery for my paper is horrible! I never get it on time I have called and got a run around. The people taking the call are trying hard to help. It is the people here in Chicago that do not seem to care!!!

AWFUL....AWFUL....AWFUL! No other explanation for it. Their customer service is atrocious. After canceling my subscription, they continued to send me the paper. Called several times after that. Sent me to collections. After arguing about that, canceled everything. So now they want me to pay extra to view articles on line, when as soon as you click a link, you are inundated with ads that tie up your machine and freezes it up. Just awful.

My name is John Kurowski and I live at 71 W Vandermeer Drive Antioch, IL. My phone number I have bee getting you paper for a long time. The delivery for my paper is horrible! I never get it on time I have called and got the same run around all the time. That person that delivers the paper should be terminated ,because the can not do their job. If I did that at work I would not have a job, the distribution service let their employees get away what they want to do no set hours or complaint reviews for that carrier. I will be cancelling my paper if this is not resolved quickly. Need New Delivery Driver NOW!CG
