I just had OUTSTANDING service from Kevin at Comcast, I called ready to cancel and he took the time (it took a while) to help me get a package that was much better than my current. It took him a very long time ,I found he put in much more effort than anyone else that I have ever received on the other end . I am happy and impressed and Comcast has won me over for another year :)

I could give you a litany of complants on Customer Service experiences I have had with Comcast. In fact, this past weekend I had several calls and waited great lengths of time to be given incorrect information, hung up on ,and even told that Comcast doesn't service my telephone. (I didn"t think I was paying another company for the service.)

But here is something I want you to know that makes me feel that there maybe a few outstanding employees in the Comcast Company. Today returned my old equipment to the Hall Road office in Macomb County, Michigan and was so fortunate to have Deneen Washington assist me with the transaction. I was not there to vent and torment Deneen in any way, but she realized that I was not extremely please with my recent experiences and thought that maybe she could help me problem solve the situation. Upon checking my account she immediately realized why my service was most likely failing and could possibly correct it at the office. Here is the SHOCKER, she asked me to call her after I checked the service, just to let her know if it had been rectified and if so that would be fine, but if not she would further assist me in finding the solution. Think about that --she woulld further assis me!!!Well, she did correct the problem--she was absolutely correct. HOW WONDERFUL TO FIND A REP THAT REALLY CARES! Deneen was understanding, sincere, and expressed a desire to assist a Comcast Customer. My experience with Customer Service tells me that Deneen is one in a million. Deneen Washington should be acknowledged for her compassion to make things right. I'm thankful that I can communicate a positive story about a Comcast employee. WAY TO GO DENEEN!

live in liberty service center in Baytown garth road great service people. just wonderful.(highly recommend Darnell) absolutely do NOT!!! like automation or website services you do NOT accomplish what you are after. excuse me I would like to shoot your computer and get it out of its misery....it stinks!!! I had problems paying because I am disabled and on limited income. when Comcast put away that $100 it set me back pretty bad. so please work with me I will catch up if you just help it will level out as I am by myself I need your help. thank you. my favorite show green acres. favorite movie private benjamin. love the Texans...have a great day. I wish Comcast had an archive library and you could find an old show or movie or new and watch it. like maybe pay so much a year or month this would be great. different from on demand.

Reps do sometimes rude due to some cust who are very demanding. They don't even participate in any basic troubleshooting steps that is asked. Basic means they have to do it on their end. Not at all times sending a signal to their equipment is useful. They always rely on the rep that will take their call. Most of all, cust will tell the reps that they (rep) don't know what they're doing and they (cust) knows better than the rep. If that's the case, why are you calling COMCAST then? You can't even check the connections if there's any loose connections coz you're afraid to touch anything. Are you that ignorant? Please, be fair to the agents. Be good to them. And they will do to you like wise. Just like the agent who assisted me in resolving my cable issue.

It took 20 hours to restore all channels in my service area, after a complete loss Thursday night. I assign 3 out of 5 stars.

I deduct one star because of the length of time to affect repairs. I cannot judge the difficulty of the repair or the effort applied in restoring my service. For example, we may have been the last area restored, or the only area needing repairs.

I deduct one star because Comcast personnel halted the automated message, informing customers of repair efforts, without verifying the outage was eliminated. Thus, causing customers to resubmit troubleshooting requests...only to have those requests cancelled once additional troubleshooting was initiated.

I called tech support because I was having an issue with my internet. I couldn't get a connection with my laptop and after troubleshooting the modem the lady said it looks like a problem with your computer and not our internet so I can't help you. She then gave me another number to Comcast signature support and they told me they could resolve this issue for a set up fee of $50.00. I said no thanks and tried to fix the problem myself. I called tech support again to get my isp address and talked to Ramen Yang. He gave me the address and I was about to hang up but he asked me what kind of problem did I have. I thought he would be like the first tech and tell me he couldn't help me but he went above and beyond and we got the issue with my laptop fixed and he told me what I needed to do in case it happened again. Great customer support and I didn't have to pay $50.00 either.

Wanted to commend Debbie for being patient on the call. I was being given the run around by previous rep. I was ready to disconnect with comcast but she gave me the results I need. She changed my mind and she really made my day.

Went and picked up my modem an hour after calling to set up, they gave it right to me, no problems. They were going to have to ship a router, but when picking up the modem they were out of the correct model so they gave me a modem with a built-in router for the same price. Went home, tried to activate, something was wrong. Called to troubleshoot, the lady was average (not friendly, not mean), but knew what she was doing. Tried connecting to a different outlet and it worked. Problem turned out to be my house not Comcast, but the lady knew what she was talking about and we got through each step seamlessly. I was up and running less than 2 hours after calling to set up. No problems since. Bills have been exactly what I expected. No hefty install fees like CenturyLink and no problems. Haven't had to call since the day I installed it. Average hold time on phone was normal; not too long and not as short as I would have liked, but once talking to someone it went smoothly. No surprises so far. Only fault is that internet rate doubles after 6 months. Still better than the alternative (CenturyLink--worst experience EVER).

I do understand all the feelings of frustrations, but do consider also our part because we really also doing our best for customer satisfaction. I speak with one of the best customer in the world, her name is Ms. Marcus from west market.. She is very nice and smart. She knows and understand the situation.. I recently bought Xfinity Comcast TV and Internet, and I had to call customer service twice; First to get my modem running and again to get my cable box running. I have to say, both times I experienced and outstanding customer service. Both operators where so friendly, super patient, clear in their descriptions - and we solved both problems. I never experienced a better customer service. I am absolutely delighted to see that there is a company with such great remote support. I've made the right choice - and am happily paying my monthly fees.

Bobby did an excellent job explaining the comcast problem I was having. He checked out everything--wires, plugs, outlets,etc. He knew exactly what he was doing!

I have been through over 4 months of dealing with comcast. Had 3 techs here trouble with allot of my HD channels. I just spoke to Nancy ID#33491 and she was so nice. I don't know how to get thru to comcast to give her kuddo's. She helped me so much and I hope comcast gets this. She is only the 2nd person that called me back after we got disconnected. I was so frustrated and she was so cool and calm and helped me so much. Please put this in her file.

I want to compliment Harry Joyce, one of the Washington DC representatives. He was extremely proactive in helping me go through the process of setting up an account fast and getting a technician to my apartment at a special time. He even worked on his day off to get this done for me. I hope Comcast shares this compliment with him and gives him a prize or something.

A technician arrived Friday, 31 May, to restore missing channels. Repairs were partially completed. The technician contacted the engineer and the engineer reported an engineer would have to visit a distribution node and make remote site adjustments since similar adjustments are beyond the scope of line technicians. I was told to expect to receive a phone call later Friday informing me the fault had been repaired. Monday, 3 June, I called at 3:30PM and learned the trouble ticket had been cancelled or cleared. No repairs have been affected, the channel still requires repair, and I have been told dispatch will call Tuesday at 11:05 AM to assign a new technician visit...to restart the troubleshooting procedure again...with my new trouble ticket. Thanks, Comcast, great service again!

Recently, a technicican came to install my cable and internet services and tracked mud on my light colored carpet. I feel that technicians should carry shoe covers to wear into customer's home, especially on rainy days. I am very disappointed by this.

After making four attempts to obtain repair assistance this weekend, I waited until Monday morning and hoped my call would be transferred to Jacksonville, Florida...my regional center.

Again, an assistant in Mexico took my call. Unlike other times, this person immediately understood the uniqueness of my specific problem and had the ability to direct my trouble report to my local dispatch office for their scheduling of service.

She reported the Monterrey Mexico call center is one of the few sites in Mexico having the ability to directly email dispatch and obtain a trouble ticket. Moreover, she understood that a few customers do not have cable boxes installed and this was the correct technique to employ.

This service interaction revealed several hoped for changes to Comcast. When Comcast has empowered its personnel with correct computer abilities and has trained its personnel to use auxiliary methods, customers can again effectively initiate repair effort scheduling within ten minutes. Moreover, it alludes to the possibility more service centers will be upgraded to accomplish the same service in the future. The main goal is to transmit information to regional engineers, where they can evaluate and eliminate short term problems within a few hours...seemingly by flipping one or two misaligned switches. I can only hope all call centers will soon have this capability. Until then, when I am connected to Mexico, I will request transfer to the Monterrey call center...otherwise, I am just wasting everyone's time.
