Today I was in the Twin Falls, Idaho Costco.
I was so incredibly disappointed by what I saw and heard.
Nesa was assisting Ashleigh on her register.
A customer purchased 12 different bottles of wine in a variety of types. He asked for a box. And Nesa gave him attitude. Then after he left, she made fun of the customer with neighboring cashier Mike, in front of at least a dozen customers within hearing distance.
It was so rude! I am shocked that this behavior has happened and been ok with this long time Costco employee.
I know Costco tries to focus on good customer service, but today was anything but that.
I also have a business that focuses on customer service. And if I found one of my employees treating customers like that, or making fun of them, especially with customers present for the whole thing, I'm not sure that employee would still be working for me. So disappointing!!

On January 20 20, 2023 add the Costco store in Wharton, New Jersey. I encountered a surly checkout clerk operator, number 62 Walter F. This is an unusual experience as an executive member at Costco. I'm sure customer service will attempt to address this concern immediately?!

Costco beside their competitive pricing (not cheap), does not have any customer service.. Customers can not even find an email to direct their inquiries. Most of the employees there are rude and made their own rules because there is no communication line open to the customers to address their concerns.

Terrible Customer Service!!! I was hung up on twice and placed on hold for over 30 minutes the third call for asking for a manager. Absolutely the worst customer service!! Moya was condescending at best, continued to tell me to calm down because I guess that works on everyone when they are upset. I ordered a treadmill, the first on was crushed upon delivery, the second one was delivered and pieces were left off. We were given on pick up date and the driver said he could find our house after they had been here twice to deliver. Then I get a confirmation call to say they are going to pick up but no time frame to do so, I guess we're just supposed to give up another Saturday waiting on them to show up. I will NEVER make a large purchase from this company again!

costco has the worst customer service they are so rushy and rude, and especially lately with the card checking, why can't my child use my card?! she is to young to have her own so why can't she use mine?!

Customer service is horrible. Had a horrific experience yesterday 11/14/2022 evening at the Costco in Arlington Texas.
Was embarrassed by the manager in front of the whole store with it being full. We were accused of stealing when the self check out person did not scan everything.

Costco has the worst customer service that I have ever experience. Don't ever buy any laptops their. I bought a new HP laptop and the customer service blamed that I misuse my laptop and that the screen was broken. Which was not true. The laptop I bought was brand new and they did noting about it. Never ever again will I buy any laptops or appliances from then.

Ordered some furniture from Costco.com. Due to app switching, each item got added twice. Realized that within 5 minutes and requested an order update.

Not getting email updates, called customer service 3 times and confirmed the update is working. Got an email about shipping. Then from the tracking page, surprisingly found that my order is cancelled.

Called them again, escalate to a manager who just kept repeating: your order is cancelled, there is nothing else we can do. Other than that, he refused to answer any questions. i.e. why an order update get the whole order cancelled? The answer is like "I cannot tell you."

Worst customer service in the world. Period.

Recently had two bad experience with Costco.com.
Bad experience one: We purchased a laptop online. At the anticipated delivery date, our tracking record indicated that the item was returned to seller upon the request of seller. Call Costco customer service to figure out what was going on and was told someone must have requested the return on our behalf, which, according to the person, is the only possibility. As a matter of fact, we never send such request. The customer rep give us two options: to wait or to cancel. We cancelled the order.
Bad experience two: we purchased a Fridge, washer, and dryer at the Memorial Day sales event end of May. Costco website list under the fridge that it is qualified for $100 shopping card from May 19 to June 8. We did not received the shopping card so we called Costco.com end of July. The person said that she would submit a order request. Called back in about a week, the customer rep said that our item was not qualified. I said that I can send her the screen shot as a proof that our purchased item is qualified. The person said that she does not need it and repeated saying that the item is not qualified.
Will avoid Costco.com in the future.

On Sunday 12, 2022, was checking out at pembroke Pine Costco the cashier stated my Costco card was not me. Even though, I stated to her the (cashier) any would I have Someone else card. She insisted that wasn't me. I even Show her my Bjs card but still she was been rude I did not appreciate the embarrassment from her. The gentlemen told her if I said It's was me she should let it but no, she spoke to another person that doing the membership that the gentlemen was wrong for saying that. I have been to this Costco always why Snow. I did not appreciate this type of rude customer service.

I returned a product cashier failed to let me know product was bought on line and refund would be put back on card she didn't give me an option. Cashier should notify customer on how refund it to be disbursed.

I received my Samsung gas stove on March 24 and I'm still waiting for a replacement griddle which arrived damaged. It was not damaged in shipping. It left the factory that way

Their customer service is not good at all. There are some people out there who have no idea how to deal with their customers.There is a girl with purple hair wig on who does not know how to speak properly with her customers. I was there when I saw how rudely she was talking to her customer. The customer was right but she was making the fuss so she can act good in front of her coworkers and seniors. Never seen like that before in coscto. So rude and disrespectful.

Failed to honor warranty. Purchased a $1000 laptop. After 3 months. No wifi. Graphics card failed. Constantly overheats. Consierge gets windows to work, With Ethernet connected. And ignores other problems. 6 months can use it unless plugged in. Only on cpu graphics.

Costco employee messed up the return by making 3 mistakes. I was okay with it and returned to explain the mistakes. After explaining about 7 times to different employee, and spending almost two hours there, they finally understood how to fix it. They also keep saying it was my mistake to argue " who" to blame. I was not returning to blame anyone, just wanted to get it fixed. It was the most horrible customer service experience.

This is the review for Costco logistics

Worst experience ever - Ordered a TV and Dining table from Costco. Until day before getting confirmations that they will be delivered as per schedule. On the day of delivery in early hours, got a call from some Driver saying there is some problem in delivering the dining table and that one of the "girls" (assuming someone from scheduling team) will call me. I did not agree for it but found that both my orders got rescheduled without my confirmation! Both TV and Dining table are two different orders and I never understood why one order should delay the other!

Worst part followed later in following up on why this happened, if at least the TV could be delivered earlier. The way this got responded back to me was pathetic to say the least. Horrible experience trying to get updates on this.

Bottom line, if you have a choice of any other carrier/logistics go for it - Absolutely avoid Costco!!

COSTCO has to be #1 for lack of customer service. I order a product on the 20th of February and it took me until March 20th to find out that they never entered my order in their system, and when I asked it to be entered they cancelled the order. This was after 6 repeated phone calls. It is hard to believe that anyone has had a good experience with COSTCO. I have been a member since they were PRICE CLUB. I just placed an order with Amazon for Electronic Products for 2,500.00 that was going to COSTCO.

I had a bad experience calling costumer online customer care.They were not helpful but frustrated and not the mind to help and answer the questions.Customers are calling because they do need some clarification regarding the order placed.How do Costco hire employees for customer care? Someone should be good enough to handle ,answer and helping the customer would be much appreciated.

Every time I try to order something I want on the Costco website, it is it ALWAYS unavailable for Cleveland, Ohio! But, if I change the zip code to Chicago or San Diego the items are miraculously available! It's bullshiit!!! What gives!?!

My car battery for my Subaru Outback 2.5 2015 went dead. AAA Automobile Club came in to jump start the car and indicated the car battery I got from Costco is leaking acid and need to be replaced. I got the Interstate car battery Item #850240 at Costco at Clovis branch 8/14/19 with a 48 month warranty. I went to Costco Clovis, CA where I got the battery. I was told they don't carry the group 26 car battery but Costco Blackstone branch have 6 batteries for my car year and make. I requested if he could call to verify. He declined. He offered to give me a refund but I preferred get a replacement battery. I proceeded to Costco Blackstone branch but I was told I had not purchased a car battery since 2014 and that the number in the battery does not match what is on Costco record. I may have gotten it from another car, the Costco guy suggested. I have no access on inputting the data into their system. They won't honor replacing the battery. But why does Costco Clovis branch offer a refund if the transaction in the system does not honor the receipt my wife presented cia the phone? Something fishy is going on by not honoring the transaction legitimately made during purchase and purging transactions and making excuses and alibis does not make sense. Unless the Costco Club member grabbed/stole the battery from Costco then that would explain why the battery do not match. I have been a Costco member for a long time with high expenditure but I am considering to cancel my membership due to inefficient and mysterious record-keeping at Costco-dishonest business practice. I rate today's transaction 0/5 stars.

After being a customer for over 14 years you would think that Costco would be willing to go the extra mile for a customer. Purchased a Tv and was supposed to get a $300 cash card. That was in August. I called in October to ask about it and noticed they were now offering a $500 cash card for the same Tv at the same price. I spent 30 min with customer service and after speaking with the guy and asking him do they could honor the new promotion he said he was able to get it pushed through. So here I am waiting for my cash card since I am trying to buy a new couch from Costco and I still haven't seen it. Called today and was told they aren't going to honor the extra $200. Thanks for letting me know that a customer that has spent over $10,000 with you this year isn't worth $200 to you. It's just me and my daughter and I chose to spend my hard earned money with Costco. I will be making my new home purchases with another company since my business isn't appealing enough to Costco.

I tried to return an item that was purchased with a gift card to the Costco in Spokane Washington and I did not have the receipt but I did have the gift card and the member info for the person that gave me the card and that wasn't enough. they were very rude about the whole thing and I asked the manager what could I do,and he said all I could do is bring in the receipt that I no longer have. I'm sure a bunch of Costco lovers are going to jump up and start yelling at me for having no receipt but it's lost along with my other receipts and two check books that were stolen when my car was broken into and my suitcase taken. I looked everywhere in the car just in case it had happened to fall out but it was in that suitcase I am sure of it. And I don't even know what to do with a freaking kayak that's still unopened and unused and is kept within n the original, taped shut box. I can't use it now for other reasons to personal and lengthy to get into, but let's hear it Costco members: ...It's all my fault for buying it AND using a gift card to do so.. I take all the blame for this cuz it's obviously completely my fault and Costco is the perfect business with a perfectly generous policy of taking broken sh*t back five years later but not willing to even offer store credit for an unopened and unused item purchased in their warehouse. And I'm the stupid piece of sh*t with a brand new kayak that I can't even sell on Facebook since I've discovered having bought it at Costco has caused people to now think something weird and fraudulent must be going or I would just return it right? Obviously I must have UNBOXED it, purposely damaged it without inflating it, re-sealed it inside the original plastic wrap and then retaped the box so I could scam Costco or the facebook people out of 125 bucks And gee, Thanks Costco for being such a bang up business with your fantastic return policy that has people looking at me like a fraudulent scumbag, receipt losing assho*e. I deserve every bit of this for stupidly using my gift card at the store who issued it
