Bought a ziio 7" android tablet, smashed the screen the next day ( accidental ) , e-mailed customer support with no reply, i eventually found a phone number for them online.
When I rang the number i got an automated response telling me to ring a different number, so I did.
The next number put me on hold for about 15 minutes, at which point I got fed up and ended the call. I googled Creative labs and got the number for the Europe headquarters in Dublin.
At last I got through to a real person, however she didn't seem to have any real answers to any of my questions and pawned me off on a guy called Jolaz from America.
Jolez acted as if he had never heard of my particular problem before.
He then told me that he had no idea how much it would cost because they have never had a request for this sort of repair, and then said he would contact the rma department to find out how much it would cost ( if possible at all ) Two days later and still no update on the situation. Absolutely TERRIBLE customer support. Will update if they sort the problem out.

Creative Labs is the height of incompitance and simply don't deserve a reasonable customer base. I bought their webcam product which worked well until the OS upgrade to Windows 7. They now advise that drivers will not be made available for the OS - nice concept and fail to see how products are left on shelves, sold and then within a 2 year period its end of support. Their email correspondence and response to questions was just dismal - they are liars and display zero stewardship - don't support them as they wont support you!!

I purchased a Creative Live! Cam Socialize HD web cam from a retailer on November 23rd. On the box it was listed as working with the Mac OS X operating system and then listed features like business card scanning and auto upload to YouTube.

Once I got home and plugged it in I quickly found out that while the camera is recognized by the Mac, the software only works on a PC. That meant that all of the features about the camera (the reasons I bought it) didn't work. To add to this there was a significant amount of ghosting in the image which made all movement (including my mouth when talking) blurry and unusable.

Skipping ahead for the sanity of myself and anyone reading this ...

After 44 days of troubleshooting, calls, emails, and replacement devices they told me that it doesn't work with Mac computers and that the whole product line was having the same issues. This took almost 20 hours of work on my part and my emails were typically answered 4-5 days after I sent them. They were rude, disrespectful, and kept passing me to different departments.

I don't care if they sell gold bricks for a dollar, do NOT buy any products from this company.

Someone DID answer, it just wasn't a very helpful call. Bought a brand new set of speakers and they didn't work out of the box. The only solution according to the tech guy is to get a refund and get another set. They're BRAND NEW and defective! Not a quality product.

On/12/2010 I ordered and paid a Zen style 300 8Gb MP3 player. A also paid an aditional 7 euro for fast shipping (it is a birthday present for my daughter). An automatically ent e-mail learned me that the player would arrive on 15/12. There was also a link to FedEx to track the transport status. So far so good, but : on 11/12 I checked out the transport status and the FedEx site learned me that the shipment was blocked in China due to "missing documents or unappropriate volume". A little alarmed I've sent an e-mail to CL's customer service. No answer whatsoever. I called FedEx at 10 a.m.. They told me that the product I ordered was considered dangerous by the Chinese Custom Authority ! Aniway I had to wait till the afternoon because they had to inform further with their Chinese agent. I called again at 4 p.m. to hear that they couldn't help me before the day after. I called a third time and had to hear from a very rude lady that I was not their customer and that they had nothing to do with me. After some time she gave me a phone number in China. I called the Chinese number : offices closed. Underwhile I sent 5 mails to CL without any reaction. The last one was to cancel my order. I will have to buy another MP3 player and I'm quite sure I will never get my money back, but I can assure you I will never even consider to buy something from a company that f*cks that way with its customers.

1st time i have ever taken the time to post anything on one of these boards. i am a home theater and automation company owner and i cant seem to get through to anyone. i own one of their lower end products and was considering buying a top of the line one from them and testing it in my personal system , but i am having no luck contacting them at all at any number . Purchase from them at your own risk, i will not be again.

I took up the previous posters challenge to find a phone number that actually works and talk to someone who deals with technical support so I could get my defective headphones replaced. Let me take you through my journey...

Creative Labs' website has no record of any phone number whatsoever. Any sort of link that you think would take you to a phone number leads you back to the generic technical support page.

I tried the phone numbers listed at the top of this page. No luck. Pushing '1' as told by the site actually lead to an instant disconnect. I tried it twice since I couldn't believe that pushing the number would really disconnect me.

Then I did a Google Maps search of their offices. I found them in the Bay Area and called. Several times. I don't think they even have an operator. They did however, have a company directory, which I dialed 'Smith' thinking that is a common name and maybe they could direct me. I was right! But alas, Ms. Smith's line took me directly to a voice-mail box which was conveniently full.

Finally dialed the number provided by a user down the line on this site which is 405.742.6622 and talked to a tired sounding man likely from Africa based on his accent. He did finally get me set up with an RMA and a means to get a replacement.

Time elapsed? 1/2 hour.

I'll admit, the headphones were great until they lost all their sound. But, I'm sincerely flabbergasted that a company would literally install a labyrinth in attempt to thwart paying customers from receiving justified service from them. It's pretty appalling, really.

I won't ever buy something from them again that is worth more than, well, $30.

Their customer service completely sucks. I bought HD video cam and it's gone bad. Now I've pay for shipping and handling for the substandard product. I would never buy creative product again

DO NOT BUY CREATIVE LAB PRODUCTS!!!!!!!!!! The 800 number dose not work. You cant get a live person AT ALL. the 405-742-6622 number gets you a live person, and if you got you product from Amazon than call 800-201-7575. I purched a Zen fi style and did not work right out of the box.I spent an hour tring to get that 800 # to work then tried the 405 #. I will never by a creative product again. Please DO NOT BY CREATIVE LAB PRODUCTS. YOU WILL BE SORRY.

I so wish I saw this page before I purchased my Zen speaker from online Creative store. As I never would have bothered. After purchasing with my Mastercard I received an email saying my order could not be processed until I sent a scanned picture of the front & back of my credit card? No chance!! I refused due to security threat. After a couple of days the payment cleared from my bank anyway $370AUD. Days later after they had my money I could not track my delivery and my account said i had no previous purchases? emails sent but no replies.. finally got a reply saying my order has been cancelled and a refund would be put back into my bank???.. I have received no explanation why and am still waiting to receive the refund!! Impossible to speak to a human at technical support, and emails are not returned. I will never buy another Creative product for as long as I live.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!!

I have owned a few creative products in the past. First, they intentionally changed the drivers in my original Audigy 2 soundcard to make it not work properly (it was fine until an update and then never worked right again in the same system, had to buy a new X-fi card).

I just bought a creative headset and can't even download the drivers since they didn't include them and their website is jacked up. Been awhile and STILL can't download drivers, almost NO way to get to customer support and no response. Won't make the mistake to buy from them again.

Creative had a large support call center in Stillwater Ok, staffed with knowledgeable college kids for support staff for their products, They must have followed the lead of unnamed phone and computer companys and somewhere along the line lost sight of the meaning of "customer support" as none of these offer the service we used to get.. BRING THESE JOBS BACK TO THE US..... tank yoo vor choozing kreetive labuzz

Why buy these products - they won't help you make them work. They hide. I wish I could return it because I would do it ASAP. This company is most useless and the product with all the software installed in Windows 7 destroys the HDMI sound and doesn't produce any sound. Fastest way to silence a OC - install Creative Labs software.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY
Zen MX bought in March from uk on line store (Ireland) returned in July. Replacement was a refurb of poor quality, had to pay postage to return. The next replacement was also poor quality refurb which I had to return again, costing me more postage. They promissed a brand new replacement and a different model and said they would not pay postage, only an accessory instead of postage costs. When this arrived this was again a poor quality refurb.
Requested a full refund but had to supply my bank details for a bank transfer as they will not refund on new credit card.Returned mp3 and accessories with even more postage cost, stll waiting for refund and they will not say when it will be paid and I will also have to pay bank charges for the transfer, which I do not know how much thet will be.

I sent in my Vado HD for repair. Waited over a month, could not reach customer support and sent many e-mails. As your site recommended, I called tech support and was told they wanted to send me a new Vado HD. I waited another two weeks and finally received a bottom of the line, not HD USED (had movies on it) Vado. Again, went through many changes and received a RMA, sent it back and am now waiting an additional month without much hope. Waiting call back from tech support. Never Again

After purchasing Creative Labs most advanced sound card, and not being able to make it do a direct digital recording (transfer from digital SPDIF source to harddisk), I had to drag 3 different support employees through a basic course in the difference between digital and analog signals before one of them finally understood what I would like to do and he then had to admit that "You would need alot more expensive piece of hardware to do this".

I then bought a professional sound card at one fourth the price of the Creative card, and it works perfectly.

The only positive thing to say is that most of my friends have been rolling on the floor laughing when reading the support-email correspondence.

The lack of knowledge of the Creative Labs support staff is quite simply unbelievable!

Their T3130 2.1 Speaker system junked out on me after 4 months of use.

Had total hell trying to contact them, and finally they responded to an email, and I followed the instructions, but their site would not accept my serial number.

I had to dig on the net, find a phone number, select RANDOM options until I got a HUMAN, explain to they why I was calling, and FINALLY they seem to be helping, but I have to pay to ship it to them.

Even if they replace them, this is a total failure.

I will never buy another Creative product if I can help it. Pitiful.

sent 2.1 speaker system in for repair, its been 2months, they still are working on it. called customer service 5x, at first they said i didnt send in the receipt for purchase verification when I did because I purchased 2 other cl products in the past. 1 month goes by the say they are shipping, 2 weeks later they say the sent it. I call in again they say the still are working on it. Their products are affordable with acceptable quality, but I recommend you always get a warranty. Their customer service sucks. I try to buy their products through other companies for better customer service and accuracy.

Their customer service is non-existent!!! I have emailed them 2 times with no reply and now I just want to return my faulty player and get my money back. The problem is I DON"T KNOW HOW!!!! They suck. I'm never buying anything from them again. They make it SO easy to buy their products, but IMPOSSIBLE to return them or even get assistance on how to use them. I will never recommend their products to anyone ever again.

Poor quality products and the WORST customer service EVER!!!

I challenge you to find a phone number for Creative Labs Customer Service.....it doesn't exist. The one listed on this site is pre-recoreded and hangs up on you.

My Gigaworks T40's failed after only 6 months of easy use. I tried to fill out an RMA on Creative's web site but you need a serial number....which I can't find on the product, hince the effort to try contacting them by phone.....no joy!

I will never purchase another product made by this company and will discourage all those I know and have contact with to do the same.

Shame on you Creative. Your CUSTOMERS deserve better than this!!!

I purchased a Vado pocket video cam. I received a repackaged camera with no USB extension cable and no silicone skin. It is impossible to even charge the camera to use (let alone download the videos) without the USB cable - therefore the unit is useless. I contacted Creative four times and they refused to send the missing component. Avoid this company at all cost!

bought the SB Extreme Music. didnt work.called 405 number extremely poor audio and terrible english. kept sending me to my email for instructions and if it didnt work call again.after 3 or 4 tries I quit and sent the unit back top dealer. Never again Creative
