Unresponsive. Called the CEO's office in Eden Prarie after no help with download issues for MS Windows 7 student professional from ther customer service dept. Did not return call. Anonymous 6/30/10 4:01PM

Horrible experience! 1) Download for 'downloadable' software - minimum one hour wait until you can request download. 2)Borderbund said download not compatilbe with Vista 64 bit leaving customer to think it was compatible with Vista 32...after over one hour on cell phone - two calls to really rude folks- I find on another windows troubleshooting blog that no Borderbund
SmartDownload is compatible with any Vista. 4)After exhausting Borderbund's help links and off-site help at Symantec -they wrote SmartDownload software tried phone support. 5)Phone support no longer exists but you have to wade through lots of phone touch-tone menus to find out 6)Called asking for refund and got a terrible runaround about how if I just tried their help links or phone support everything would be ok. That I had just spent two hours doing just that was not considered pertinant. 7)To get a refund you have to respond to a windy email justifying your desire for a refund. 8)I purchased product three hours ago. I now am told to wait 5-7 business days for a refund...sounds pretty scammy to me. Borderbund used to be a great company but they have become like a bad Chinese/eBay rippoff. I will never buy from them again.

Digital River has some of the worst customer service i have ever experience. they put me on hold for a good 20 minutes the FIRST time. then i was transferred becuase "this department doesnt handle Microsoft related issues. another 30 minutes later and i get cut off.

After ordering an upgrade, Digital River gave me an order number, then they gave me a message saying there was problem and to wait 24 hours for them to resolve it. Two days later I sent them an email. No response. 6 days later and I still can't figure out what is wrong. CraigB 12/1/09 6:11AM

My order via Digital River was "cancelled by system". As a result, I lost Broderbund's 50% discount good for one day only 11/30/09.
Order numbes: 4092769511 and 4090009211. Attempted many other times to place order but DR system was "unable to process" the orders. My bank received and approved a charge authorization request from Broderbund software for $44.97. What is your problem DR?DecadesLongCustomerNoMore 12/1/09 12:03AM

I had a problem downloading Microsoft Office 2007. I called the number you have listed, the phone was answered quickly and the problem taken care of almost immediately.
My only complaint would be that it was impossible to find this customer service number on their website.Anonymous 11/25/09 2:33PM
