Express scripts customer service is terrible. If I could get thru someone else I would. Sent rx I didnt order and then charged me. Had records that I cancelled rx but they cancelled then reached out to my provider and sent it anyway. Check your pill bottle one time rx was all crumbs.

Express scripts is the worst home delivery pharmacy processor in the world!!

My son almost died with a blood sugar if over 600 because they did not deliver his diabetes supplies on time, and refused to allow me to purchase them myself from my local pharmacy!!!

It's a nightmare. And it too big to find anyone with any authority to help you work out these issues. Shane on you Exoress Scriors/A Cigna Compsny and your $100 billion deals and $14 million dollar golden parachutes.

I was forced to use express scripts due to my insurance yet I am paying out of pocket right now? Gave my insurance information to a lady on 2/15 and had her fill 3 prescriptions for me since I was told it takes 7 to 14 days to get prescriptions. My husband has to drive to Dallas to a pharmacy we live in Ft worth to get me 2 weeks supply of my medication I had a kidney transplant 11/15/2021. The 18th of February get a call they need the Doctor to send in the prescription why wasn't I told this on the 15th the prescription was at the Walgreens originally. I got the prescription faxed in on the 18th get a call the 20th saying still don't have prescriptions get my coordinator send it in again. Today the 25th I get a call they haven't done a thing! Going to process this now! after all this time? Plus she had the original prescriptions from the 15th still need my Envarious 0.75 mg that's on the prescriptions sent the 18th. Running out of this medication and I won't get it till the 1st of March. Why aren't you charging me copays ? The lady in the phone mumble something of it I was just process this I thought this was on its way done finished your just now doing it ? Why can't I use you the Walgreens in downtown Ft Worth was perfect. You put me thru too much stress and spending extra money based on false information 7-14 days . Transplant is a serious major issue why don't you people do your job right the first time? The lady on the phone the 25th had no answers and was getting tone with me cuz I was mad and fed up. I did my due deligence and got this going you all drop the ball so I get to go 2 days without much needed medication very disgusted with Express Scripts and first time to use you. Have issues each time order is placed! No communication if order is back ordered not mailed for any reason! Insulin was to be mailed 2/4 paid for from previous order on 1/22 no communication out of medication that I live on! Supervisor going to expedite order called 2/9 to track order no one can tell me why order not processed! Got supervisor told me due to weather but again no one communicated I paid $34 and no more money til first and the only thing supervisor could tell me I had to use local pharmacy for another $38 dollars for 30 day supply!!! I have had nothing but bad experiences thru you and you demand I order from you and I am treated like dirt! What can I do?

Terrible! They linked my account with someone else. After numerous attempts to fix it they failed. I could not online refill anything. My medication screen was blank. I now go to my local pharmacy and pay the higher rates but the customer service is great. DOD needs to cancel their contract! They are not serving veterans at all. Waste of tax payers money.

Worst company ever!!! Stay away from them. They harass you to use the delivery service, but they don't deliver the prescriptions, they'll take all your personal data like credit card number. No serious at all and they have a huge mess internally, they're are worst than a cult to let you out! Kafkian process to get the prescription transferred to a "real" pharmacy.

Express script rushed my order within two months which leaves me with a 5 month supply. Charged me $376 for 3 months supply of blood pressure medication saying I did not reach my deductible. They told me they have no ways to tell me that my deductible didn't meet but was able to tell me it was met when they took out my $376, keep calling my house several times per day and when I answer it was the automated system wanting to speak with my husband. This is crazy why they could not send it in an email but they process $376:00 from my card saying I had automatic refill so if the meds were $1,000 they would do the same thing?? ♀️. Beware of Express Script !!!! They are rip offs and I will not use their service anymore. There are 5 months supply in my possession when they should dispense prescription while you are 3 weeks away from your lady supply. BEWARE!!!!!!!

I mailed a prescription claim to the Lexington, KY PO box address on the claim form and followed up about 3 weeks later to inquire as to the status of my claim. I was told they never got it and so I said I would resend it. When I asked for the street address of the Lexington facility I was told they didn't have an address, only a PO box! And was also told that I could not email my claim to them as they didn't accept claims that way, although I could fax it to them or mail it. What kind of business refuses to accept emails from their customers and uses outdated technology?

Arbitrary, inappropriate and inept in their decisions. Examples: I needed a pre-authorization for a medication my medical provider prescribed because it was off-label. It took 3 appeals before they agreed to pay for it, but in refunding me payments, they refused to pay for the last refill because they said I refilled it too soon - 9 days before I would run out of pills. So that was another appeal. Phone calls to agents are totally worthless because they tell you anything to appease you & get you off the line. I was told the reason they denied approval of a drug was because my physician only ordered 3 pills (that was a lie); I was told they could have waived their time frame for refills & reimbursed me, except it had been longer than 30 days so now they could not pay me (I had filed 2 appeals during that time frame). And now the latest from this inept outfit - they have failed to authorize a drug prescribed by my physician because according to them I must first be given a different drug & show that that drug does not work. That is not an insurance company's decision to make, as they did not go to Medical School. It is a physician, in consultation with their patient, who make this decision. So I am filing yet one more appeal. This company is a part of Cigna, a global insurance corporation, one of the richest in the US. And this is why - they do every possible thing they can to deny beneficiaries the benefits they have paid for. It's about greed, not healthcare.

HORRIBLE!!!! this is the 2nd time they did not ship my meds. I have Stage 4 Cancer and NEED my meds I cannot miss days ...They even called me to confirm my address on Thursday today is Monday they still never sent the tracking number so I called...they NEVER EVEN PROCESSED THE ORDER!!!! I am filing a complaint with the BBB and ICE.

Worst Company ever in delivering what you are asking for. All of their reps are pleasant. But 5 out of 5 that I spoke with could not resolve an issue, though all of them said they could. I had to speak to 5 different people over 3 weeks to try to get it resolved.

Express Scripts customer service has recently gotten much worse. I've experienced 20+ minute wait times to speak with a representative. Half the time, I either can't understand or can't hear the representative (I have no hearing problem). It used to be fairly good, but has declined precipitously.

Been with express scripts for a year now and I have nothing nice to say about them! They literally play God when it comes to patients health! I shouldn't have to call in every month to make sure they are going to approve my meds. Been on my meds for 10+ yrs and magically they need an approval for me to get them? Dont know why at the end of 2020 I am having a problem but back when January 2020 was here I received my meds. I would t recommend this company to a dead person! They do not care to refill, they do not care about anyones health, if you do get meds then you'll get the meds late, been off of them for two weeks due to their denial. Call me to tell me denial but cant give me a REASON other then not Med Nec???? AGAIN THEY LOVE PLAYING GOD!!!!

so, i've been getting the same seven meds for years. always a new and exciting way they screw up. monday, all were ordered at the same time. And requested in one package at the same time. a manager promised overnight shipping. they'd be here today. what happened?
Seven meds shipped in five packages. By three different carriers. Two are somewhere in Arizona. Estimated delivery who knows. Two of them are delayed in Ontario California. Estimated delivery tomorrow. And one is out for delivery before nine tonight. That's how express scripts delivers meds.

Absolutely impossible to reach and when a person finally answered the phone they told me to hang up and forwarded me to call what turned out to be spam/scam phone number.

I paid a bill totalling $50, the company cashed and desposited our check done via on-line banking and 4 months later we are still getting calls asking for the money. We have sent them a copy of the check that they accepted and deposited. They then charged my husband the money and sent him a list of my medications over the past few years, a direct HIPPA violation if I ever saw one. After speaking with 6 different people, most incompetant, I was assured in later calls that they saw the problem and would fix it, a final call told me that our bank had "taken back" the check, our bank DID NOT! We've gone about 2 weeks and I just got another message that we owe the money. May have to look into an attorney to help with this.

express scripts has REALLY gone downhill in the past 6 months. Prescriptions don't get automatically refilled causing me to have to call and harrass them. They seem to have instituted a new front-line phone support level filled with idiots who as a supervisor told me they "cannot change anything about your prescriptions", in other words they're just gatekeepers. Also, I believe with the onset of Coronavirus and everyone working from home, the quality of the call connection has gotten horrible. I undertand having these employees work from home and not in a call center and all, but GET THEM LANDLINES!!!, at the very least get landlines for the ones with bad cell reception which from my recent experience is most. I spent almost 3 hours on the phone trying to get a single prescription straightened out with them. I could have taken care of it with a 5 minute phone call to my DR sending a new prescription to a regular pharmacy.

I've decided enough is enough, I'm moving all my prescriptiosn somewhere else and I recommend if you can you should as well

From 2017 to the present, my wife and I have experienced multiple problems with Express Scripts (hereafter ExScripts) regarding (a) failure and refusal to provide prescribed medicines for no payment or medical reason, (b) directly interfering and intervening between each of us and our physicians, and (c) unilaterally making medical 'decisions' that appear based not on medical but financial reasons favorable to ExScripts. These actions of ExScripts appear to involve (1) medical malpractice, (2) improper dispensing of drugs resulting in a potential life threatening situation, (3) unauthorized and unilateral changing of physician prescriptions, (4) unsolicited 'medical advice' from unlicensed and unqualified pharmacists, and (5) generally poor and confusing service to consumers. In addition, their 'pharmacists' do not know the actions of prescribed drugs. They try to sound like an MD, but have no real training in medicine.

I HATE Express Scripts! I had trouble before with them and had stopped using them when our employer allowed us to switch to a retail pharmacy - the relief was enormous ! Then due to COVID-19, I considered switching back, rather than picking up at the retail pharmacy - they had asked me to "transfer my prescriptions". So I did. THAT WAS A LIE! They did not transfer - they started out asking for ALL NEW prescription from my physicians - an enormous waste of energy & time! Then they also without warning changed amounts and frequencies on long-standing prescriptions as well - or did not ask for as many refills as I needed - what the heck? After several days of back and forth with them & fruitless discussion, I remembered just how awful they were. I ended up just CANCELLING the whole thing and I also removed my credit card info so they can't charge me. I am sticking with my retail pharmacy no matter what.

I would love to reach out to all companies that want to give express scripts to thier employees as a benefit with no other option. This is a dis-service to your employee, the company wants to deny benefits and transfer cost to consumer each time they have a chance. If there is no chance I am sure they are working behind the scenes to make it a drug no longer covered. Do they forget who pays the premiums? I will just have to suck it up. I would like to speak to Employers to drop this company. I am totally sick of them and it is affecting MY health when they will not deliver my prescriptions as expected.
