Good help for me. Nice lady, she said the game wan't returned (its in the mail as we speak). She's issuing a refund right away. Top notch customer service! They should put this contact number more "seeable" on their site!

I believe their customer service is great. we lost both envelopes and card board and called them up a minute later they were shipping it out. And for those comments i heard about sending both games in one sleeve. technically the usps can deny the package in general due to over weight. So fact they received it at all is amazing. And they get hundreds of games in daily it is not so easy for them to check all of them out it is your responsibility to make sure the games are in the right case not theirs. For they were in your possession when you sent them out. it is not their fault someone is lazy or too busy to double check things. I have called them up three different occasions and they have always been very helpful. And it is a privilege to even have these great game renting companies. With the likes of block busters and holly woods closing down left and right.

I am not going to say that I have never had a problem with them otherwise why would I have found this sight looking for the customer service number! lol! I am sorry for the people who have experienced bad customer service from them. The only problem I have ever had with them is when I send a game back they send me a text the next day saying we have it and they send me my next game before the my returned game even gets back to them. Lately that has not been happening. This is a small thing but a problem none the less. I have gotten every game I put on my list and even get brand new games sent out to me the day before they come out. I recieved the new Grand theft auto the day after it came out. I hope that my service does not start to decline and hope that if any of you have stayed with them that your service gets a lot better.

I have been a member for over a year now...and my husband and I would be lost without them. Our attention spans don't last long enough to buy most games...we play them for a couple days and move on....renting games through gamefly, while it's a monthly bill...has still saved us at least $1k on games that we would have had to buy otherwise.
We only ever had one little issue when we moved across the country recently. I changed the address online, but it didn't hit the system. I guess some people are annoyed by having to do a google search to find a company's phone number....I'm weird though...because I always do. I got a person within a few seconds...seriously...and she was very helpful, and took care of everything quickly and easily.

Someone fraudulently set up an account using my debit card info. I caught the transaction while it was still pending. The Gamefly CSR was incredibly helpful, nixing the pending charges before they were processed.

I've been a Gamefly customer for 3 years now,and so far I haven't had a problem with them.I've only had a few issues with them, but I emailed customer service and they got back to me in 2-3 business days. They have saved me sooo much money(by renting games first,I can see if I want to buy them or not,and I'm not wasting money on buying horrible games)by me being a member.I think it's an awesome company

I use GameFly and love it. I had a problem due to my error and they fixed it with no problems. I have always been able to get new games at all times. I have called Customer Service and have always talked to someone and they have been very nice and helpful. Glad they have it because this is a great service to most of us.

Nothing wrong with the service at all! I can reach people on the phone and through email with quick responses. Wait time for mailing is about 2 days for me but i live close to a shipping center. Always get games in good condition. I also like the "Keep it" option for gettin games on the low low. Keep up the good work Gamefly.

i called to tell them that i received an empty envelope and the game never came. with out me even asking the person i talked to issued me a free month for service for the inconvenience.

I just called about being charged for a game I mailed back after cancelling my acct. Very friendly guy, got through right away and issued a refund immediatley. Also, try cancelling your membership online...they immediatley offer a cheaper month if you decide to stay. :-)

If you call in they really try hard to make the customer feel better. I've used gamefly for about 8 months and the couple of times I called them it was always about the length of time it takes for a new game to get to me and they try to make things right. They only have 4 locations for the entire US.

When you do call in, at least when I did, you talk to someone who doesn't have any real power, they are just instant messaging a manager who is the one offering up deals.

From the gamefly website:

" Question
Why does it take so long for GameFly to receive my games?
Answer

As soon as the U.S. Postal Service delivers your returned rentals to GameFly, they are scanned and marked as returned on your account. If a game is listed in the Games I Have Out on your GameQ, this means GameFly has not yet received the return.

Games are being shipped to and from Los Angeles, CA, Pittsburgh, PA, Tampa, FL and Austin, TX. Shipping time averages 2 to 4 business days anywhere in the US, but it can vary from member to member as well as from shipment to shipment, depending on your postal route, delivery location, local post office, the volume of mail, the weather, holidays, etc. We are continually working with the Post Office in an effort to improve shipping times.

If it has been more than 7 days since you placed it in the mail and it is still showing out to your account, please go to the Report A Shipping Problem page to report the issue."

I signed up for their service thinking I would use it. I never did. 3 months later I was ready to cancel.

I was aggrivated when i had to use this site to find a phone number... as it was nowhere to be found on the website.

However, once I got to a person (not as hard for me as others 1:05 pm EST) he voluntered a refund of all 3 months due no NO use. I was VERY happy about this.

If I need a service like this in the future, I would be willing to give them another go.

I got through the first time I tried and cancelled with no problem they sent an e-mail conformation and we're done. My son enjoyed it when he had it.

GameFly created the Queue as a GUIDE for them to know what games you want. It's not set in stone that you get them in that order. Availability is not as easy to maintain as you think. Especially since you all want the newest hottest games the day of release and end up keeping it "for as long as you want" This is a business - and just like every other business in the whole wide world - they are in it for the money $$$ And it doesn't make very good business sense to buy more 30$-70$ games than is going to be necessary or they just sit and rot...and they even sell them to you cheaper than the used game shops do in town AND w/free shipping.

Be patient, you are paying a whole 20$ to play 2 $30-$70 games. If you have a problem, Email / Call them (it's even free!!) and the # which is at the top of this page even gives you the code to speak to a live person.

Nearly all of my friends have Gamefly, hell even my boss who is a C-Level exec working for one of the largest telecommunications companies in the country uses it and loves it...with no complaints and you better believe he called them the second he got the wrong game that he was expecting from his game queue.

Bottom Line -Before damning them - take the time to speak with them - their customer service is amazing their hours may be a little short but it's an INTERNET COMPANY - that's why they give 24/7 email support.

5/5 stars Gamefly - keep up the good work

Gamefly has been as essential to me for games as netflix has movies for a long time now. I think they're great. With a little proactive queue management there's no trouble getting new releases and their deals on preplayed games are the best out there. I never see more than 3 days shipping and they often send new releases a day before the official release day!

They're a one stop shop for everything... rentals, purchases, reviews, cheats, trades... They blow Blockbuster out of the water on selection and game condition. I don't know how many times I rented a game from Blockbuster only to get it home and find it so scratched up I couldn't play it. That's if I could ever find one in stock which all adds up to why they're going out of business.

Gamefly actually has quality control. I've never gotten an unplayable game from them and their rentals are a fraction of the cost.

Gamefly has been awesome for me. A lot of these negative comments are just not true.

I called customer service once and reached a lady almost right a way. 100x better than most companies were you wait forever to speak to someone who doesn't speak english.
Been renting from gamefly for over 3 years and Gamefly has been around since early 2000 and is definitely legit.

1. It's the best way to get games.
2. It's the cheapest way to get games.

After a while of using it I started to relize how much I used to spend on games. So I started to think about that and realized that over a year I spend, with Gamefly, a little over $200. At new game prices $200 equals about 3 games. In a year with gamefly I play 30-40 games easy. Of course some I rent and send right back cause I don't like em, but then that to me is priceless in and of itself

You guys make it sound way worse, and you're not even probably doing it right. In order to get a new game before they're all rented out, you return one of your current games before it comes out. I got all the new games the first day. They aren't gonna reserve a copy for you, who sends in your rented games on the day it comes out. Sometimes it doesn't work I guess, but That's never happened to me. And yeah they do have a customer support, it's this number and you gotta call in pacific Time.

For Customer service I give them a 4/5.
For what they offer: 5/5
I used the "report problem" link at the bottom of my gameq. Got an email later in the day from gamefly, problem was fixed and my first 2 games in the q shipped. What I'm doing now is keeping one game while I send back the other, that way I always have a game and dont get pissed at my mailman. For the two game plan it's $23 per month, comes down to a few bucks a game. m a fan.

Gamefly is awesome. We've had it for a year now with no issues. I saw the comments here and had to say something. No more than a day or two between games, never a "stuck" que. Gamefly is all automatic, choose the games you want and they ship them out when they have them, availability is there to help, I don't fill my q with games that aren't available. But i've found availability is constantly changing, they do have the biggest stock out there.

Games take about 2 days for games to arrive. For returns I drop the games at my post office that uses fast return and the game shows up returned next day.

I rent games for 3 consoles and figure gamefly has saved us over $500 because we rent most of the games we used to buy.

Just got off the phone with customer service. Followed the instructions and got a real person right away. They're sending a replacement for a scratched disc I bought. A lot easier than getting on they phone at my bank.

Gamefly has been really good. Been using it for about a year now. We end up renting about 5-6 games a month and the price and convenience beats any other renter i've tried. Havn't found anyplace with as many games and features.

I never have had an issue with credit card billing and gamefly. I'm really surprised how people are shocked when they're card get's charged, this is how ALL subscriptions services work. If you don't cancel your trial before it's up your going to get charged for the month. Big shock. Maybe it's there first credit card or something. Either way gamefly is a Better Business and Verisign member, so you know they don't practice what some people are claiming here.

Gamefly is great, don't listen to these trolls.

I called customer service once and a lady named Denice was extremely helpful and answered my questions.

During the trial period after the first games I knew I wanted to keep the subscription. They charged my card around the 11th day. The price is really good ends up saving me a lot on gaming expenses. I can budget $20/month to video games for 2 at at time and have all I can play for any of my systems.

They also have a brand new website that has some nice features. But this is about customer service and my experience was A+

These anonymous comments claiming gamefly is a rip off are 100% false bs. I've used gamefly for years and never had 1 problem. The sytstem works, so good, I've played about 15 games in the past 3 months. Gamefly is a very reputable company that has been in business since 2003 and millions of people use it.

1.They charge your card as soon as the trial is up, unless you cancel beforehand. This is how all subscribtion sevices work, nothing new, if you read the details you would see that.

2.In 3 years of renting from gamefly I have never received an unplayable game.

3.Gamefly has never mischarged my credit card.

Just don't leave comments that aren't true people..
