I have always been proud to use and to promote HP products. Until, that is, I got the DeskJet 4155e . It has been a true nightmare in that I usually have to scan things twice ??? Also, it often times tells me that it is not connected t o my PC until it suddenly realizes that it is. Do not, NOT get one of these !

I have an HP printer 8025. I'm in my 70's so I'm not tech savvy. It started flashing all it's lights and showing an error message a few times. I would restart it, unplug it, plug it back in and it worked....one time print! I tried contacting HP....there website is hard to navigate and isn't helpful. I finally found a way to reset it back to factory settings. Now it says I can't print anything until I reenroll in the ink program which I have! Then down load something! It's MY printer. Why are y'all controlling it!!!!! I'm sure you downloaded something on it to cause it to crash. Same thing happened at our church. Wouldn't except "old" cartridges but would except "NEW" ones with the SAME NUMBER!!! More money spent!!!! I think your company is a RIP OFF!!! Expecting people just to give up and go buy a new one!!

negative for support: the HP printer 6400 envy kept kicking me out. asked me to register [which i have] and then always gave me an error. when calling was told it would be $19.99 to answer any questions. after giving name, etc. THEN they asked for serial #

LET'S BE CLEAR, THIS IS A B**CH AND MOAN SESSION.
There are less expensive options to HP products.
I have chosen to be a loyal HP customer from the beginning, Desktops, Laptops, Printers, Scanners and so on.
Why? Because mechanically they are exceptionally dependable. Mine have never broke.
When I have a 5 minute tech support question they spend 50 minutes trying to sell me things I don't need.
When I have a stockpile of print cartridges purchased at Costco because they had the best price at the time including HP, HP wants to automatically send cartridges every month that I don't need and can't stop the unneeded shipment.
This is what is good for HP and the customer gets a big middle finger!
F**k that business model.
If HP made connecting a printer simple, I would not need tech support in the first place. Frustrated as H**L.

I checked for my ink and paper delivery and they said that they were mailed out but I haven't received anything and yet I'm paying for it you can't even call them on the phone they want you to pay for a chat line that you don't want this has been going on for a while and still I don't get any answers if you call support they say that they don't have any thing to do with shipping but yet they're the ones monitoring my account how do that make any sense

I call and talk to a representative who tells me I have to speak to tech support. While transferring me, I am disconnected - this has happened 6 times!!! I did get thru once and they got into my computer (scary) but did not fix the streaking I am having. Now my printer is still under warranty, do I NEED to get someone to say it is unrepairable? Good luck with that since I get disconnected every time I try to call. I am desperate to talk to someone.
I am very upset and mad at HP.

The service representative was helpful, but everything else sucked! DON'T USE THE INSTA-INK SUBSCRIPTION--there are serious issues with shady manipulation and privacy.
I cancelled by Insta-ink subscription and removed my credit card number from the website. I assumed they would let me know if there were a balance due. Several weeks later, my printer would not print because of a HP account issue. After a very confusing 10 minutes working through the telephone system, I was finally able to talk to a human being. Her script caused us to take another 10 minutes to determine that I owed $4. After another 10 minutes of navigating the web, I was able to add a new credit card to my online account and the account was paid off. However, the printer was still held captive by the HP software. The service representative was able to fix this by completely removing my printer from the HP system, BUT NOW THE INSTA-INK CARTRIDGES THAT I PAID FOR WILL NOT WORK IN MY PRINTER-- I have to buy commercial HP cartridges before I can print again.
In addition to this possible fraud, there may be a larger problem of privacy. If the Insta-ink cartridges and the printer are sending information to HP about the condition of the special cartridges and the number of pages printed, WHO KNOWS WHAT OTHER PERSONAL INFORMATION THEY MAY BE COLLECTING?
I'm very glad that we've cut our electronic and financial ties with HP!

6 week old printer has just stopped working. It won't turn on or connect to wifi.

I spent 1.5 hours using 'virtual assistant' which was utterly useless because it keeps trying to find the printer to fix it -- but since's it's not connecting to wifi, that won't work.

Then I spent 2.5 hours in the queue - got 'transferred' twice (which apparently took me back to the start of the queue) and then the third person just said they weren't available anymore and hung up.

4 hours and I got NOONE to help me in any way. The last message was "call back again." After 4 hours? What!??!

Clearly this company cares nothing for it's customers. Do not purchase from them. I will not do so again.

I've been using HP printers for many years-I'm in my 70s, and never had I had so much difficulty. It jams every other time I try to prink something. I've waiting on hold for more than a half hour only to be told that I have to be transfered because I use an I Mac, so back to the que for another half hour. Why don't they as that up front???? And, the so called service doesn't speak english well enough to understand my problems, or for me to understand their solutions. I've had it. A brand new printer in the garbage. Hope Epson or Brothers will be betterl.

I use think that hp was quality i recently bought a laptop what a complete disappointment it started over heating no fan, then all the usb are clustered in the corner making it difficault to plug more then one in at a time no light indicator to plug or start light and it was not cheap now stuck with low quality laptop

Had a scanning issue with the Envy5000 printer when connected to a newer Mac Air book. HP would not provide any help without a required payment up front. They referred to some online questions and answers which were useless.

I ordered a HP laptop on Dec 6 and was told it would ship by Dec 20. I have called numerous times and was told it is not on delay status and they would contact the warehouse for an update. There has not been an updated and supposedly it has been escalated. Still no answer. In the meantime I have received 3 emails asking howI liked my product.

Model 15 serves it purpose well email online access. not impressed with HP addressing issue of adhesive strips coming off the bottom. Same issue on 3month old computer as 3 year old computer I replaced. If you don't respect your computers quality, how do you show respect for your customer and shareho;der. Fire your QA and hure someone to fix the issue. Telling me that it is the best adhesive available doesn't matter if it doesn't work. Passsing the issue off the issue to me and Best buy shows no accountability. I hate getting ignored.

HP support is in INDIA and difficult to understand. Issue was a new HP 15.6 Win 11 laptop that will NOT allow ANY setup unless you agree to BOTH Microsoft and Mcafee user agreements which installs and starts a subscription to Mcafee. You can NOT use Win 11 without loading Mcafee. Support called HP directly and told me to just agree and remove it later, then admitted you CANNOT remove Mcafee files,EVER! Then HP support told me it was NOT an HP problem and to not blame them for using Win 11.

HP Deskjet 2755e. It never connected to my wifi. Contacted HP, after several weeks of conversations they sent me a new unit. It never connected. More time spent trouble shooting. No success. Bought an $80 Cannon printer, 20 minutes from opening the box I was printing.
Tried to cancel HP ink subscription on line. Impossible. Called call center to cancel. They warned me the ink I already received would not work. I told them no problem since the printer never printed one page. What a waste, 40 hours over 6 months to get a consumer printer to print. Can I give a negative star rating?

Ordered Chromebook on deal buster. Shipped from CHINA and got stuck in TN customs for 5 days, fedex said they didn't have all the proper paperwork and for me to call HP. HP said they were working with fedex. It finally got to me, but had a huge hole in the box. Sure enough the top of the laptop had a gash on it. All they were willing to offer me was $11 for the damage. $11! It would cost more to have it fixed at a store.

If I could give a 0, I would. I've always trusted HP and their products but I will never buy anything more from them.
I tend to be proactive, so I buy and store toner cartridges so that when I need them, I have them. In 2020 I ordered a 4 pack of toner for my HP Laser Jet Pro 477 printer (410). I received them and put them away. Unfortunately, I did not check them.
Recently, in the middle of a large personal project, I changed the color cartridges and all was well until I was going to change the black. They had sent the wrong cartridge, 48A ($54.99) instead ofthe 410x as ordered ($171.00)
After spending 3 hours being passed from person to person,they refused to accept an exchange, return or refund because I past the "Return date", even though it was THEIR handling and shippjng error.
They are NOT a reputable company! Buy from anyone else!!!

I bought my first computer in 1985. Over the decades, I've dealt with tech support for many, many devices. I have never had an experience as frustrating, as degrading, and ultimately futile as I had with HP.
I purchased an Envy printer/scanner. I wanted to be able to scan locally, without needing to go to some "account." Three different people all required me to go get the device's serial number. This was just one of many hoops I was forced to jump through. All to be able to utilize a device that I had already paid for. Ninety minutes of my life wasted on the phone, with a very contrite tech, hiding behind "company policy."HP has my money. I have the scanner, and it's still unusable. For all they care, it could be a boat anchor.
The funny thing is, I currently have an HP desktop, laptop, and (partially useless) printer.
Do you think I will ever purchase or recommend anything from this company ever again?

I am not very pleased with the hp printer and I will never buy another one as right now I am stuck with a faulty printer that I had bought in June of this year and I will need a new printer soon but will not by a hp printer or go back to staples

I purchased a laptop , didn't turn on , no problem I have a warrant on it right? Nope I have to send it in. So I do, they call me about a week later , telling me they won't warranty it because it has water damage . I said that is not possible it was never out of the box. Well nothing they can do , I'm beat . Fast forward almost 2 weeks later . I asked when will I get it back , they tell me they sent it and it was signed for . That is an absolute lie, no one signed for it . I live alone , and none of my neighbors signed for it. Again HP says it's not their problem. So at this point I now have no laptop at all that I paid for. DO NOT BUY FROM HP, their products are junk and their customer service is even worse !

don't care. Bought a HP victus PC worth 1.35 lakh from HP with extended warranty, product broke down in 1 month. Called customer care 28 times in 5 days & after multiple diagnostics on phone was finally assigned an engineer who told to run another diagnostic. Then was told part ordered & will be delivered in 4/5 days. No response as yet with machine still disrepaired after 6 days.

Just another addition to the hopeless HP support. After three interventions my original intermittent problem is an ubootable "bricked" computer. Every time I was hung up on two to three times before I could reach a live person for more than a few seconds.
