I was on the phone with HP Support for hours. They passed me from one person to another. Finally I connected with someone who said she was a specialist in my type of printer, but I knew the information she was giving me was completely wrong. She had no idea what she was talking about. Finally I hung up. I then found a video on the Internet that explained everything, and I solved the problem in two seconds. DON'T waste your time with HP Support.

HP has zero customer service! A warranty repair for my business desktop took over a week to be returned and was STILL not functioning. It now two weeks later and my desktop is not any better. I paid HP $15 to expedite my request and my computer was returned non functioning. My business is suffering big time because I chose to buy a new HP computer to replace my outdated, but totally functioning Lenovo. If I get this fixed, my next stop will be at a computer store to replace my new HP. Never again! Horrible customer service from this company!

I have a HpEnvy 5530 printer I bought in 2015 and did not begin to use it until late 2016! I signed up for thier Intaink subscription and all was lovely until yesterday! My printer is " locked up" with a message telling e that my ink cartridges are " no longer compatible with my printer!" How can that be? I have not used this printer constantly but always receive the cartridges when they ran out!etc. If I printed over my subscription limit ,I was charged $1.00 per sheet! So very careful to stay within my subscription limit!
Uon calling to find out what Could Possibly be the problem after troubleshooting everything suggested on my research , My Printer is LOKED UP! I CANNOT GET THE CARTRIGES OUT to return them for credit! I was told " Sorry your printer is obselete, you'll have to buy a new printer!"???? Tech no longer supported!???
Listen this is a rip off job if I ever came across one! They design these devices so they have very limited warranty / or service! Just designed to lock up no help ,Do Sorry just go buy a new printer! Well I have not the funds to go "buy a new printer"! I expected this printer to last at least 10 years and considering the fact that it's not been used all that much, I readyly say HP Printers and thier Instaink " subscription" is now at the Top of my RIP OFF LIST! Not only does getting rid of this printer Add to the Waste of electronics devices to wherever they send them from my recycling place but insures that HP has a steady New supply of and ongoing purchase of a New Printer anytime they want to just lock up your printer and FORCE YOU TO PURCHASE A NEW ONEIN AN ONHOING CYCLE THAT BENEFITS NO ONE BUT HEWLIT PACKARD VO.!
I received No advance warnings about this " obselete cartridge business! Just pow ,you have no use of your printer now! You are all locked up tight so you might as well go buy another of our wonderful printers so we can scam you again in a short time!I'm not a wealthy person! Inpadcacdecent price for this printer with no clue that it would not continue vto service me for longer that what it has ,with the limited use it has had!
So My suggestion to the HP printer industry is to produce a product with longevity as the world cannot afford to support your Billion dollar,OVERSEAS CALL CENTER ,WITH POOR COMMUNICATION OPERATORS WITH POOR ENGLISH SPEAKING AGENTS THAT CANNOT IN ANY WAY HELP YOU DOLVE A PROBLEM IF THIER LIFE DEPENDED ON IT! VOULD BARELY UNDERSTAND WHAT THE " TECH SUPPORT PERSON" WAS SAYING!BERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!OR problem solving as I asked to End my Instaink account immediately, " Not my department" threw me on hold for 29 minutes which no one ever answered the " cancelation department transfer" which I DOUBT was even transfered at this point!
Bring Manufacturing of electronic Back to America!!! This overseas manufacturing is NOT BEING OF BENIFIT TO AMERICANS! Hewlit Packard used to mean QUALITY! The name means Rip Off to me now!

Customer and Tech Support in Costa Rico and the Philippines where it is very difficult to communicate. They try and are friendly but have zero knowledge of the products and constantly put you on hold for up to 15 minutes at a time making the call last 10 times longer then it should. One call lasted over 2 hours with one hold being almost 40 minutes. I joking asked if she went to lunch and then came back trying to add humor to my already stressful experience.

Purchasesed an extended warranty with next day replacement (costs extra) and they said it will take 5 days to process, then next day shipment. Deceptive and down right wrong according to the description and speaking with a HP representative before I purchased it. Will never purchases HP again...

I ordered a new computer because my died. HP has changed the delivery 3 times without notifying me. I am supposed to get it more than 30 days after purchase and my work has suffered by not having my computer to work on. Apparently, they have a poor idea of customer service!

How do you define HP
Greed, deceit, miniaturizing ink volume while increasing the price.
Both of my 4 in 1 printers simultaneously failed. Both indicated ink cartridges depleted. I inserted three new HP cartridges and the printed stated cartridges deleted. What a stinkin rotten company. I have purchased HP products for over 25 years. I will never, ever, ever ever purchase a stinkin HP product AGAIN.
Greedy nasty, people treating their customers like garbage.

A VR headset that's just 2 months over they're Canadian one year warranty I cant get replacement controllers for here in Canada and the USA HP will not ship to Canada. What a joke this company is. Never buy from them again.

HP computer service is the worst in the world!
I bought a HP laptop, placed an order on the HP website on 11/28/2021, bought an HP ENVY x360 Convertible Laptop - 15t-ed100 laptop, shipped to me on 9th December from China, I received this computer on 16th December Notebook, Serial Number: CND1481CTK. But it took only 2 months for the laptop to break, no internet access, and no sound from the speakers. It was sent to HP repair station for repair on March 19, 2022, and it was not repaired for more than 3 months! It was not until June 28, 2022 that I was asked to pick it up and said it was repaired, and I have been waiting for 100 days! , but I took the laptop home for testing, and I could access the Internet for a while, but not for a while. Finally, the laptop showed that the hardware was broken. What should I do? Paid $855 for a malfunctioning thing that couldn't be repaired!
For this repair notebook, the repair time of 100 days (more than 3 months) is too long. What's worse is that it has not been repaired, and I still cannot access the Internet. The computer indicates that the network adapter hardware is faulty. I have crashed and I have no confidence to repair this computer again. , Requirements: Replace with another model laptop!
I'm sure this is the worst service in the world, because I used to be a senior supervisor of computer and notebook repair services. For notebook repairs, there is a quick 2-hour repair, stand and wait, and the repair will be completed immediately. If it can't be completed in 2 hours, transfer to Repairs are completed within 3 working days, and 90% of laptop repairs are completed within 3 working days!
Never seen the worst service in the world like HP!

Customer service is horrible. I have a new HP computer. I bought a hp pen that was "compatible" with my computer. Both are new and under warranty. They would not pair. Called to ask for assistance and was told that I had to pay even more to receive any help from customer service. Heck no!! Customer assistance should be included with new products under warranty, not be an additional charge. I have started the return process. I will be spending my money with a different company, one that values its customers.

Here in UK,HP support is a sick joke, have an HP desktop still under warranty, HP took it for repair 3 times, each time they send it back NOT ONLY without repair but in WORSE condition than the time before, no one to talk to here in UK, there isn't even an email address for support, NO ONE AT HP CARES, NO ONE DOES ANYTHING, so even though my pc still under warranty I have £6oo worth of HP junk and THEY DON'T CARE, it tells you something about the CEO, NEVER again will I touch another HP product, they are unreliable anyway and support is non-existent, truly disguting company.

I have an HP 8025e - Piece of crap. Have had it for a month. Does not print does not copy. I have called HP - been transferred around but NO ONE knows how to fix it. This time I was transferred 5 yes FIVE times and then it said they are only open 8am to 5pm and hung up on me. DO NOT BUY! Get a Cannon or anything else. TERRIBLE support. In order to set up you have to give them TONS of personal data and who knows what they do with that and it still does not work. Actually had one of the reps ask me if the printer was an HP???? They have the SN and data? How can it not be?

REF# 5082404988 - First the positive: The technical support person that I finally reached was OUTSTANDING. She spent an extraordinary amount of time working thru the issues with great knowledge and LOTS of patience.

Now the downside: I spent about 4 hours trying to download the driver for my LaserJet printer.Endless attempts online and the phone. Every effort was greeted with an attempt to sell me something and NO assistance. There was a time when one could check the model of your new printer and click to download the driver.I spent half a day and never would have connected it with out your technician's help.The online connections proved to be a dead end and the constant attempts to peddle something were totally annoying. The net result was a complete loss of confidence in what I used to consider a good company.

Experiencing issues with my HP ENVY PHOTO 7855 wireless printer. After several hours I've been unable to resolve the issue with HP. Purchased a service agreement today and was informed while trying to use it online that it would not resolve my issue. After an attempt to cancel the service agreement an HP CSR tried to transfer my call and the system disconnected my call. After several hours I finally resolved the issue myself. I'm very disappointed in HP's service.

I have spent all morning on hold back and forth to various departments trying to locate where and when our Technician is expected to be here. After paying for the extended coverage for technical support. THERE IS NO SUPPORT - DO NOT BUY HP Worst support ever.

I have spent all day online and on the phone with customer reps trying to find the correct ink cartridges for my HP DeskJet Plus Ink Advantage 6475 All-in-One Printer which we purchased in August 2021. I was informed that the ink is no longer available. It has been discontinued by HP. There are no replacement or complementary cartridges so I guess my 6 month old printer is useless. I will NEVER buy an HP product again.

I purchased an HP wireless home printer. After having difficulty connecting the printer to my wireless modem, I purchased a brand new upgraded modem to allow for extra devices, but the printer still would not connect. Contacted customer support and allowed their tech to control my computer and attempt to get the printer connected. After 3 hours, the tech tells me that the printer is printer fine so it must be a problem with your cable/internet company. (No it's obviously a problem with the printer's ability to connect to WiFi.). I contacted my internet provider who confirmed that my internet service is operational and has more than enough speed for the printer and 20 other devices. Now I have a wireless printer that will only work as a connected desktop device but that is not what I want! I want and need WIRELESS printing! VERY DISSATISFIED and will never purchase another HP device and will strongly caution others to avoid HP.

Purchased a HP laptop through Costco.com and right out of the box, the power cord did not worked at all, I was able to charge the laptop with a charger from an identical computer to be able isolate the problem to the power cord. I reached out to the Costco concierge who bridged the communication with HP support. I was promised an email confirmation regarding the replacement power cord within an hour. Two hours went by and no confirmation email. I reached out to HP with the number Costco provided only to experience the WORSE customer service ever. It all started with a gentleman reading a script instead of addressing the issue from the get go. Once he finished his obligatory script, I gave him the HP case # only to find out the request for the replacement power cord was never put in. Escalated to a "Case supervisor" who was useless at best, read the obligatory script again. He was not able to commit to getting me a power cord overnight. As this wasn't a comedy of errors already, as the "Case manager" was taking down my information, his HP computer froze. Therefore, who knows if I will ever be receiving a replacement cord. I will be marching my way down to Costco to return this pyle of garbage. Stay away from HP and their LACK LUSTER customer support. Just as an FYI, HP does not have anyone you can call in the US as all their script reading "agents" are in the Phillipines. Good Luck!

This has to be one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. Purchased my laptop in July 2021. Received an offer for an extended 3year warranty in Dec 2021 while still in warranty. On Jan 25,2022 my laptop began having issues with the camera and the speaker. I contacted the extended warranty submitted a claim and they sent the box to ship the laptop to repair promising me that once the package arrived a loaner laptop would be sent. I was told the turn around time would be 5 days. They received my shipped broken laptop on Feb 4, 2022. As of Feb 26, 2022 I have received no return laptop no loaner and after many calls to HP finally got escalated to a case manager. I was promised over and over again from Feb 14th that my laptop was being shipped back and there was no need for a loaner. The expected arrival was changed to Feb 17, 2022. That date came and went and a new promise date was Feb 22, 2022. That date never happened either and all I received was emails and calls telling me it was being handled. On Feb 24, 2022 I was given a tracking number and told it was being shipped over night to arrive by Feb 25, 2022. Of course, that never happened and new date is changed again to arrive Feb 26, 2022. One month later I am with out my laptop, spent many hours trying to track my status down. Promised many things that never were correct. I have been mislead and should never have had to go through this especially after purchasing a useless fraudulent extended warranty. Buyer beware HP customer service is terrible, their extended warranty is not worth purchasing and the product still covered under the original warranty is not honored properly. Spending hundreds of dollars on a laptop and having to send it off for repairs 7 months after purchase is unacceptable. Making a person with a full paid extended warranty wonder if they will ever get their product back is beyond poor service. There has been no offer to compensate me for my loss of time with out a purchased laptop or any attempt to satisfy my legitimate complaints. I intend on making this very public so no one else has to endure this same situation. Let my experience be helpful to you. Never buy an extended warranty from HP or a product unless you are prepared to go through countless hours of no help and false promises not delivered!

I tried hp support to fix a printer problem and received a call back from support to help me with a problem... gave him remote access to my laptop to correct the issue. Instead I was told that I would need to pay $150.00 because the printer was corrupted.. I told him I thought he was going to help me out not try to sell me something... BS that printer is less than a year old... just brought a brother... never again will I buy hp product!!!!

Decline of Printer Quality and Incompetent Tech Support

I am truly let down by the performance of the HP 9015E. This is the 2nd one I have had in 2 months and will most likely return it. I have had so many HP printers over the years both personal and business that were wonderful.
The HP 9015e was supposed to be one of HP's top printers, but doesn't begin to compare with any in the the 8000 series. It is almost flimsy. Paper jams when scanning 2-sided documents. Paper tray doesn't have latch to secure paper. I had to return it and have now spent 3 hour with Tech Support to install the new (new) one. Plus they were unable to install the digital fax. Nor could they change the admin sign in so that I can access the printer with my own user name and password. This has not been a good journey. Especially because the only reason I had to purchase a new printer was because HP Instant Ink destroyed the printer I had. Sales Department was accommodating and Tech was polite and professional, it's just that the product is less than acceptable.

Not surprised that their survey site continues to incur an error so I was unable to send this to them.

HP Support is absolutely no help! The HP 9015e is probably a good printer, BUT ---! Setting it up proved problematic in several respects. First, after inserting the 4 ink cartridges, we kept getting "out of ink" and "cartridge malfunction" messages. Repeatedly removed and reinstalled the cartridges many times before the printer would finally accept them and print out the test page. But then in checking the ink levels, found that the magenta and yellow cartridges showed only about 10% full (!), and the black barely over one-half (see attached photo. Only the cyan cartridge showed full.) Prior to purchase, we spent considerable time reading various reviews of this printer, and admittedly did a few times see complaints of low ink. Then we discovered that the warranty for this newly-purchased printer was for only 9 months (not the 12 as advertised). We spent considerable time on the phone with HP Support complaining about the low ink, but after much "run-around", they offered no resolution. And after completing an on-line form (and attaching a copy of our sales receipt) requesting a review our warranty status, finally received a response after one week. But --- the warranty extension was only for one month (i.e., from 9 to 10 months, not 12)! So, it's especially disappointing that HP Support offers no resolution to these product deficiencies/problems (especially after several YouTube videos praise the ease of set-up). But should HP see and finally satisfactory respond (?) to our complaints, I might agree to subsequently upgrade our two-star recommendation. (In only a couple of print-outs so far, it DOES otherwise seem to be a fine printer.)
