The customer service agent for my Hitachi TV would not even discuss my problem--which is not a common one, nor discussed on the website. If your product is over a year old, Hitachi will no longer even talk to you.

I would never buy a Hitachi product again. They have made a decision not to support their customers

We have purchased a number of your 18v battery drills, grinders and recipricating saws. The grinders are hoples i have two grinders that have malfunctioned one has melted the brush harness which got that hot it burnet the students hand and the cost to repaire was moore than a replacement unit and the other is sitting in my workshop, we have tried to get warranty service but your web site is of no use we are now thinking of distributing this info to other govt institutions advising of the problem, i hope that you will take note of this and remidy the over heating problem.

Hi, I am the one who bought refrigerator by Hitachi since 2013. However, two time you technician came and do repairing and change the motor. Now, one again the motor broken. Why this happening? The same thing happen and i have to pay your service. It is your brand not really good quality? Or your service not good?

I Purchased A Microwave Oven Mro-100e, The Display Is Cannot Be Read Without Additional Illumination, Which Means Have To Use A Torch Light Or Certainly Need Additional Flood Lighting To Read Display. I Am Surprised Hitcahi Made This Dificullty For Cutomer In 2016 Where The Display Technology Has Much Advanced, Now I Am Really Stuck With This Product And Every Time I Need To Use Torchlight To Read, Can Hitach Fix Mr0-200 Or Mro-300 Display To This, To Solve My Problem Or I Have To Suffer With This?

I purchase fridge 415L Double door on 21 Oct 2014 from M/s Vijay Sales Vadodara.I am registered at your office on my mobile I was told that you can enter in AMC after completion of one year. Since from 10 of this month I am trying to contact Ahmedabad as well as Vdodara office regarding AMC, but no reply from both offices. Then I contacted Vijay Sales they in turn talked to Baroda Office and assured me to get quote for AMC. I have contacted on Vadodara office cell no 7574832161 number of times & gave him my mail address but he just does not care to respond. I think this is worst after sales service.

My main concern is about ur telecalling training which is not upto the mark.hitachi employee called up this morning regarding AMC.when he opens the call he was very soft but when I politely said NO.HE hung up on my face without saying a word.I mean this is rude in sales call.pls teach them soft skills this is also a mandatory part in outgoing calls.As I blv hitachi is a reputed co. Worldwide and they should impart proper training before they hit the floor as it can effect ur co. Name.consumer will nvr recommend your company. Just a suggestion.

After purchased the product(SUMMER TM 1.5 Ton Window AC) it was detected by Hitachi's technician of 33,Kabir Road,Kolkata 26, that the Relay wasn't working and the same they repaired with an old parts(They got the parts from an old machine in their workshop) I purchased the machine on 23/08/2015 and it get repaired on 29/08/2015.After replacement the parts(Power circuit breaker)the unit didn't run smoothly. I requested several time to change parts with a new one.Till date there are no response, I don't know what's going on,how the company like Hitachi doing this nonsense job.

I bought a new hitachi windows AC 1.5 ton four months back.
I regret my decision. with in 4 month my suddenly stopped working.
When i contacted customer support they said engineer will visit and check .
Engineer visited and took some parts from my AC saying he will be come with new party tomorrow.
After continuous calling to customer support finally engineer came after 5th day.
Installed new part and said new part are also faulty. WTF.. he is coming after 5 days just to waste my time.
Then i wrote a mail to their management of consumer support. From there also i just got a auto generated mail.
Next day a different engineer visited installed new parts and repeated the same word as last one "New parts are also faulty".
They just making fun on consumer service. Please don't buy Hitachi products.Their quality and service is pathetic.

Worst mistake I made when I decided to buy Hitachi AC. From past 4 months I am dealing with the same issue and technicians arent able to identify the cause. I logged 6 to 7 times complain but no success.

I will make sure that in my group no one buy any product from Hitachi.

I purchased a Hitachi 2 tonn A C in April 2015 and on 30.7.15 I lodged a complain about accumulating of water in the cabinetconverting in bad odour in the entire house(AC being in warranty period)with req no15073103703.on dated 30.7.15.To my utter surprise l got àn sms from Hitachi that service engineer will contact me ASP(as soon as possible)without quoting any specific time or date.Till date my AC window type is lying unattended
What a mockery of after sales services that too when the products are under warranty period .Hats off for after sales services to HITACHI.

i just bought a hitachi fridge from sharjah city center - sharjah - UAE on 26th of june thay told me that thay will bring it till my home but thay came on 29th of june to my building and refused to deliver the fridge cause we dont have left in our building then thay took it back and never came back till this moment.

I have purchase 1.5 Ton DC inverter AC from Vijay Sales Vadodara two months back and few days just after i bought this AC i have been running after Vijay Sales and Hitachi for some complain or other. After two months now this AC has stopped giving cooling i don't understand how such a big brand is selling such product in market like this where they claim to give 5 years warranty and within two months their product is not operating properly. I have also tried to call Mr Ankit of Hitachi but he has also not responded to my calls. Now i am fed up with this kind of behavior and thinking of retuning back this AC as i have purchased this AC on EMI and will stop paying EMI and will also lodge a complaint in consumer forum. Please take immediate action else i will be forced to such things as mentioned above. Regards Abhilash Keshri

Hi Hitachi Team,

I purchased new Hitachi Window AC (5 Star, 1.5 ton - 34000/-Rs) on 13 May and within 20 days its cooling stopped working. Registered complaint 15060304650. The service engineer said that problem was gas leak and will be refilled. No one is explaining cause of problem and why it stopped working in less than 3 week. If model/AC is defective why not replacement or give actual cause rather than confusing customers?

Service guys have already closed ticket without sharing reason of fault.

1. The Hitachi company does not have a toll free customer care number. If any problem you should contact paid mobile number only.
2. on 27/05/2015 I am purchased 1.5 ton split a/c Hitachi "RAM LAKSHMI STORE" AVADI, CHENNAI. and he assured that free establishment within 24 hours. told that you should not register with customer care because the installation charges vary with dealer and customer. if you register the product you should pay the different cost of installation charges. So I did not register.
3. on 28/05/2015 contact with shop keeper, he told that we register with customer care and now you should contact with customer care.
4. Then we contacted customer care, they tole that your product registered on 28/05/2015 evening 3.00pm. then the service will be provided within 48 hours.
5.On completion of 48 hours on 30/05/2015 at 5 pm I contact with customer care and they told today saturday and tomorrow sunday. If installation will not done next 2 or 3 days then you should contact me. Then I call their Shift Supervisor. The supervisor not came 45 minutes and told customer care lady that if 2 or 3 days your a/c not installed then call and then Supervisor attend the your call.
6. ofter obtaining the service engineer mobile number from shop keeper on 31/05/2015 and several requested for him for installation then he came at 8.45 pm and installed and switched on only. Not checked by the engineer whether the A/C running properly or not and not asked about A/C running status.
7. They thing that the free installation is panic and not their duty.
8. In between I asked the customer care, i installed some local service provider at my own cost. They told that If you install your own cost the warrenty not covering.
9.So if " HITACHI" A/C you are buying once again you think that the dealer told within 24 hours service, customer care told 48 hours service but actually the local service centre is fix the time frame when the service provide you. they did not bound any time frame.
10. The most of the A/C function are same, only slight different But very very important think is service. Because you do not do any service within warranty period.
11. Hence i am facing very panic and I did not Suggest the "Hitachi" A/C because very poor service.

I bought hitachi 1 ton window ac Hitachi RAW511KUD from flipkart, which got delivered on May 4,2015. Installation was done by the company technician on May 6th. AC stopped cooling on May 19th onwards, well within a month from installation. Service complaint #15052104762 was logged on May 21st. Service technician visited on May 23 , however after lot of attempts he could not fix the issue. He stated that his colleague will be taking the AC to the workshop for condenser replacement on the same day. However I have not received a single call from the support till today (May 29).
When I checked the status of the complaint on the Hitachi website, surprisingly complaint was no longer visible. After lot of frustration I escalated the issue to Mr Vishal Marar - Manager, National Service Center management through the company website on May 27, however management behavior was similar as the technicians. There was no response apart from an automated email.

It is really frustrating and unexpected experience from an esteemed brand, first the product failed within 1 month of usage and then the after sales service which is an addition to the misery.
With what I have experienced I am never going to buy any product from this company neither I am going to recommend to my social circle.

It is just worst as there product is. I brought 1.5 window ac just last month on 19th Apr 2015 and it stopped working on 20 May 2015. Engineer who came took the PCB and told that he would come back in 2-3 days. It is 25 may and no call is there from them. The service center (call center is even worst). They can just provide a number which is never picked up by anyone. Hitachi should be take to consumer court and sued for this kind of service.

I have bought one hitachi Ac 1.5 TON 3 star model yesterday in kolkata.

After delivery at the time of installation I have seen the backside wire net of Hitachi out dooor unit

is broken at some place.So I have raised a complain in Hitachi Service centre and told to replace.

They told it will take arround 20 days to replace which does not have any gurantee and the product will be shipped from ahmedabad to kolkata.



But my mother is ill and I have to install.Hence i have to install the faulty product forcefully.

Here as a customer I feel very shocked and not satisfied with the service.

They seems only concerned about selling the product.



Don't buy Hitachi product. Please call me I will tel in details what issue I have faced

My experience with Hitachi has always been very painful and extremely dissatisfactory. I have enrolled for AMC on 16.10.2014 (Rs.3260/-) with Hitachi Home & Life Solutions (India) Ltd., New Bowenpally, Secunderabad-11. Inspite of many calls for extension of service Mr.Gopal and Mr.Raju have not responded creating utmost inconvenience and on complaining the same to Call center Ms.Divya attends to say that you kindly contact on land line and they will suggest you future course of action. Pissed off with their unprofessional behavior and lack of courtesy atleast. Would not recommend Hitachi AC to anyone, neither the product nor the service offered are of premier quality

Hitachi takes a damaging amount of time responding to customer service needs. Twice I needed help with my chain saw and waited one month with prodding effort from me to get parts shipped to the authorized repair location. I am currently waiting for a chain saw fix in the winter with winter temperatures. I heat my house entirely with wood. Hitachi is blind to my needs of heat. What takes so long? How would Hitachi respond to being paid slowly. I rate the customer parts care a 1 on 10 scale. Thoroughly disgusted and freezing.in Hendersonville TN

first one came with dented casing probably mishandling....2nd also with dented body and not even working

The worst product , service and support.
I purchase a 1.5 ton ac this july2014 now it is nothing more than a box which runs the electricity. "No Coolling". I complained on to the web portal. My first complaint was removed whith out attending the complaint. When I asked on their phone I was given a fresh number on dated 8 oct 2014. Till today nothing has been done. No call/service/contact from them todate.
this is totally a nothing but harrashment.
