A male employee in the Mohegan store was demeaning and condescending when I was looking @ lamps and was considering the purchase of the lamp and an alternate shade when I was approached and told that I couldn't "switch" lampshades. Since the lampshade I was holding clearly was wrapped and had a price tag, the implication was that I would try and "steal" the shade. I was appalled at the mere suggestion! I only held the shade against the lamp base for color and am just so annoyed that this man made me feel like I was either an idiot or a thief.

Our initial experience with Home Goods was pleasant but more focussed on selling rather than meeting our needs. They were successful on selling us a very high priced piece of furniture which has given us several issues since purchasing it only a little over a year ago. The customer service with regards to our complaints has been slow to respond and rude with trying to find a solution.

Very disappointing shopping experience. First, two identical items. One marked clearance 100$ off. Store manager unable/willing to match price on non clearance item. Made no effort to peruse options. Results, lost sale.
Second, furniture item on floor damaged beyond repair. Store not capable/willing of ordering identical furniture item and have shipped to store.
Results. Lost sale.
Reached out to HG corporate. They have no policy in place to assist in either of these scenarios. Results. Lost customer. I will do future shopping in competitors store.

Staff unfriendly at El Toro Ca store. I am 72 years old and can't in line for 40 minutes. I asked to hold something until later in the day when there wasn't a long line. And staff with long blond hair refused. This is near a retired community. Why so rude and inflexible. I put my items down and left. Bad customer service!!!

First, let me start with a positive, Linda was so helpful and so nice. She made my experience today so much better.
The negative is, I purchased a couple different curtains less than a month ago. With Christmas time I wasn't able to make a decision right away. So it's taken less than a month to return them. I did open up the two sets of curtains I purchased and laid them over the rod so I could see the curtains. I assume most people when they purchase things and can't decide which one they look at them. anyways, I returned one set today, I was very proud of how I folded them and put them back in the package taped it up so when I came in with the receipt, it was raining. The lady at the desk first of all question me about the dots that were on one tiny little section of the curtain. I reminded her that it is pouring down rain outside and it was just water spots. She then asked the manager to come over and told her I was returning the curtains and wanted to open them up to make sure all four curtains were in there since I had open the package. Which state is cited to both sit there and count the curtains. Of course, all four curtains were in there. Then the manager asked me if I had damage them. Which, of course I hadn't. She literally took her fingernail and tried scratching a little tiny. Dot on the curtain. The whole experience was humiliating and embarrassing. To be questioned multiple times about multiple things, bye two different people on my
return. They went ahead and did the return, but I was so embarrassed, but I was not going to let them scare me away. I proceeded to shop around the store for a little bit and that's how I met Linda who is so kind.
I don't understand why I was given the third degree, the curtains were in perfect shape and even package back, almost as well as when I open them. over the years that I've shopped at your store, I probably made five returns at the most. My best friend and I are in there at least once a week. I love your store and will continue to go back. But these ladies should not humiliate customers.
I did not happen to look at their names, but they were working today, January 12 around noon to one. The one lady was probably in her 40s with longer dark hair, and the other lady was older with short red hair.
I know people have the bad days, and we can be grumpy sometimes but the two of them together were awful to me.

I went to HomeGoods a couple days ago today Saturday and I went Wednesday and I found a perfect piece of furniture the ladies were nice they kind of rushed and I told them that I couldn't pick it up to Saturday so they did let me pick it up and they understood how hard it was going to be for me to do that after doing all that I get to the store and it is unbelievably damaged you'd have to be a blind person not to see the damage no one ever called no one ever said anything and they really were not willing to give me too much of a discount. I will never go there again those poor customer service and poor resolution

Yesterday I used the restroom in our local HomeGoods store and found it in such horrible shape that I doubt I will ever set foot again in HomeGoods.

I am upset , I shopped at the HomeGoods in pearland of Pearland Parkway , I purchase 10 glass storeage containers and 3 of them were marked wrong . Marked as 4.99 and should be 6.99 . The manager on the floor , her name was Chasdie told me she wouldn't honor the price of 4.99 and she would charge me 6.99 . The item was raged wrong by mistake but I think they should have honored the price !

Today I found out exactly what HomeGoods employees think of their customers. I was there to purchase a Sherpa throw or blanket , and my wife was browsing the children's clearance rack. These two women employees were walking rite by me as I was choosing and said " the day after holidays is when poor people come in and buy things these are all the poor people". Are you F'ing kidding me? I complained to a manager grabbed my wife and walked out. I'll miss your great coffee and random house stuff. But I don't feel like being insulted buy people at a place I really don't need to be.

My wife and I are card holder of Belk's, however, we cannot find any CHERRY COFFEE SYRUP, We can find numerous other syrups. Question is why no cherry syrup. Talked to manager today and she indicated what you see is what we get from our delivery truck. We have no way of ordering any CHERRY SYRUP, all our merchandise we receive is ordered for us. Manager did not even have the phone number to talk to someone about this item. PLEASE ADVISE.

I was just in Hime Goods in Olathe, Ks. I had 2 KC Chiefs jackets for purchase. They were exactly the same. One said $24.99 and one said $29.99. EXACTLY THE SAME PRODUCT!!!!! They acted extremely rude one was a Hispanic male and one was an older Caucasian woman (manager I believe). Would not change the price of $29.99 and acted like I was crazy for even asking. Don't think I will ever be a customer there again.

I was returning for the third time some thing in the Aventura Florida home goods. The return was a cracked picture frame for 14.99 and the crack was unnoticeable until I removed the four cardboard corner pieces. This is the third terrible experience in the store with that manager, Marimar. She is extremely rude, unprofessional, racist and never want to anccept any returns from any other home goods in the area. She literally told me to bring it back to the HomeGoods. I purchased it, although I had the receipt with all the proper information clearly stating this piece was purchased one day prior at the Hollywood HomeGoods. She still refused to take it back at $14.99 such a headache and an embarrassment as she was laughing in my face as I told her that HomeGoods usually takes back damaged merchandise without a problem she laughed at me and told me to go to the other HomeGoods , because she refused to accept my return again this is my third experience with her. She is god-awful. she does not deserve to be working in a place like that ESPECIALLY as a manager! She is doing the store, a disservice and I for sure will never go back to HomeGoods in Aventura ever again.

I would like complain about The cashier Mirna who is working at Valencia Santa Clarita California. She is very rude to the customers. I love to shop at Homegoods but I am not going to that store until the manager fires her. Home goods is a big company, I am surprised that they hired her because her personality doesn't fit for homegoods.

I visited the store location in Harvey, Louisiana. I was very disappointed about the holiday selections available. I want to know why there was no african american Santa claus to choose from or any african american item? The store across the river has african american items.

When to Homegoods rt 309 rushing before they closed 930pm and the stor was closed early because of maintenance, I was told by Erin, at store employee.

Home Goods so-called customer "service" answers your email with 6 lines of blah blah blah, "glad to help" etc. but then do not address the issue but refer you to a phone contact. I wonder how long one waits for that? And I wonder if that customer "service" person will actually handle the issue.

To much merchandise or better yet to
Small of a store..don't feel comfortable. Maybe my OCD I wanted to start organizing and cleaning after a panic attack just walking in.

Did not deliver on their promises multiple time said was being shiped shortly or pushed shipping date back. Finally cancelled no refund after 10 days , filed a dispute with credit card. My advice find another company especially if you need the product on a timely basis.

I'd like to report a very poor experience I had yesterday at Cupertino, CA store. We attempted to buy two items (skellington Decanter and skellington shot glasses). Both items were on a table with a sign "Additional 25% off Halloween motif). When we got to the register we were not given the discount. I asked the cashier and she asked the manager. He said just b/c the items had skulls, did not mean they were Halloween items. (Btw, there were other items on the table w/ skulls and since when is that not a Halloween motif?).
I indicated to him that even if he didn't think skulls qualified for Halloween, he should honor the sign posted, especially given there were multiple items on the table w/ skulls. He refused.

He continued to say "I'm sorry you are confused and having a bad day".
I was not confused since I was clearly following the signs posted by the store.
He continued to argue with me and tell me I was having a bad day and didn't know what I was talking about. He did not acknowledge that as the customer, he should accommodate what was posted.

This was a completely unacceptable response by him. He was arrogant, argumentative, and condescending.

I tried to report this on the Home Goods website and kept getting a "Forbidden Request" error! Apparently they don't want you reaching out to submit a store experience.

I have returned an item to HomeGoods that I bought online. They insisted they credited the full amount of the return. However, the credit I received through PayPal was partial. PayPal says that is all HomeGoods issued. HomeGoods said they would issue the rest of the refund when the dispute I filed with Paypal was closed. Once the dispute closed, HomeGoods demanded evidence that it was closed. I sent that to them and then they refused to give me the rest of my refund, claiming that they had issued the full refund.

Homegoods does not send delivery tracking numbers or confirmation of return emails. They then use this lack of documentation against the customer in any dispute.

I was told by customer service that I would receive emails regarding the refund and I never got one. I was told by other customer service reps that they do not send confirmations but just the credit to the financial institution, in this case PayPal.

I used customer service chat to document HomeGoods claim that they issued the full refund. I requested transcript of the chat. They said they do not provide them. I took a screenshot them claiming they issued a full refund.

I have talked to HomeGoods customer service more than twenty times. They did not connect me to management when asked. The rep said he was talking to management and promised that management would sort it out and call me within three days. I received no call and still the remainder of my refund has not been issued.

There is no accountable or responsible party to resolve this matter. I do not recommend buying anything online from HomeGoods or any of the other TJ Maxx affiliated companies.

I was forced to take in store gift card in a store in Charlottesville, VA. The cashier told me that everyone loves a gift card. Well I sure don't like gift cards. It was a shoddy way not give a valid refund. I shopped there often, but I won't go back now.

went to Home Goods, Natomas Sacramento CA. I had misplaced the receipt and wanted to return $24.99 item. I was told by the sales clerk in a sarcastic voice this item is one year old and she cold not return the item. I told her I purchase on this gift card about 2 weeks ago. Then talked to the manager standing by a stack of the items she sounded even more ridicules with her explanation as to why they could not return. I actually had the gift card the item was purchased on. I have spent so much money in this store and so despointed in their treatment. Happened 09 22 2022 @ 9:15pm
