I sent the equipment back and the waited two months to take 187 out of my account and said that I had to wait for 5 to 7 business days to get it back left me with no money stole everything that I had

I have spoken with 5 agents and a supervisor, sent several emails. I have a very simple request. I want a detailed, itemized copy of my final bill and it seems no one is authorized to mail me a copy or email me a copy. Total incompetence!!! The service was horrible and was totally misrepresented by the sales agent. Don't be taken in by Hughes Net...this company is the worst product and worthless customer service and tech support.
I hate Hughesnet nothing more nothing less. Can't watch a movie without it stopping. Can't download anything. God forbid you have to do any work online cause it's not gone get done. I have had it with this mess got a big dish in the yard that's only good for birds to build they nest on the back of them. As soon as I and I mean soon as I can get a better internet service where I live I'm cutting ties.
Had HughesNet for 6 months modem went out had to request a new one hooked it up as instructed wouldn't work the company blamed it on the weather in my area still got charged $10 even though I have to send it back sent the old equipment back having trouble trying to get a box and return label for the new modem service is lousy data ran out before the months end.. it's very hard to get in touch with someone I don't recommend anyone using this company's service.. I have a service charge on me for early termination but I am not and I repeat I am not paying for this equipment based on the refusal of sending me a box and return label.. I am checking evidence on that refusal in case they decide to sue me for the equipment
Could not watch videos without buffering. After 3 PM didn't work at all! Called they did check of system said everything was working. When we cancelled service I got the runaround! Had to go onto roof to return ( radio ) ? Was at end of dish the cable was loose! I'm 60 years old getting on roof is dangerous!
We switched to Hughes Net based on false advertisement on internet / Wi-Fi speed and reliability, their services is slower than advertised if it works at all. Six months after install our bill went from $55.73 per month to $80.73 per month. I was told the only way to get better service is by increasing our plan basically doubling the initially quoted price. I called to cancel my service and they said I would have to pay the full 24 month contract, over $300. This contract was entered into under false advertisement for their internet speed and reliability.
Crooked company. They will get you one way or another. I finally got out of my contract with them, boxed all the equipment back in the same box and they charged me for the most expensive piece. They claimed they received 2 pieces but not the 3rd. So, one piece miraculously jumped out of the sealed box in transit?
I've subscribed to HughesNet for a little over two years and started having problems after 4 months. I was always running out of data and my speed dropped from 25GB to 3GB until the next billing cycle. Then when I increased my data plan from 20GB to 50GB, they reset the beginning of my 2-year plan without telling me as if it was a new purchase. Now, for the last 2 months, I can't consistently connect to the internet through my 2G network and my laptop is only in the next room about 8 feet away. My 8th phone call to tech support, the CSR told me to connect to my router with an ethernet cord. We're paying over $200 a month for 'high speed' internet service because of where we live (all that was available). I'm totally dissatisfied with what we get.
I am 56 years old and this is by far the worst internet I've ever had. Customer service is a joke They lie, lie, lie when ordering their service because absolutely nothing works. They force you in a 2 year contract, then when I had to move and couldn't take Hughes Net to the nice neighborhood I'm moving to because the HOA (Home Owners Association) will not allow the neighborhood to be junked up with gaudy dishes, they charged me $220 disconnect fee and said I had a balance of $170. My bill was only $118 a month and was paid in full at disconnect. Hughes Net breached the contract as soon as they hooked it up because I never got the service I was promised and paid for. As a long time SPECTRUM customer previously, go with SPECTRUM if you can. Unfortunately I didn't have SPECTRUM as an option and I'm paying severely ?
This is the WORST INTERNET ON THE PLANET! Run far and fast from Hughes Net, they are a RIP OFF! I couldn't watch TV, my small critter cam froze 20-25 seconds out of a minute and trying to use my phone was a joke. When you call customer service all they know how to say is "we understand your concern, do you want to buy some tokens". No, I don't wanna buy anything else, I just want what I was promised and was paying for. I made the mistake of letting them draft it out of my account and every month they drafted it out a day earlier. After a year, my due date went from the 29th of every month to the 17th of every month. HUGHES NET IS A RIP OFF ?

I complained every month about how slow it was and how quickly my data was gone and it slowed down more. Only after I threatened to sue because I payed double one month for extra data, which lasted the rest of the 25 days that month did I get decent service.
And they can't change your name; I use false names when researching options, but couldn't get them to fix when I signed up!
My internet been giving me problems the second day i purchase it. Me and my husband continue calling the company but it seen everyone has the same talking point no solutionto solve our problem. I do trading everyday but having bad connection has become a probrim problem for me to trade. This is the worst experience i ever had with a internet company. People's please do your research before signing up for any company.
It is the worse. Customer service is of no help and tech department is terrible also. I have not internet service for 15 days and they will not send a service tech to my house fix the problem. I will be looking for another internet provider. I do not recommend to anyone. There service is so slow when it is working.
This is got to be the worst company I have ever dealt with sold me a extra router and I said what bedroom it was going in and the guy cut the existing wire where I will have to replace the wire well I am not going for this bologna and if they don't fix the problem I'm going to use a different company what an idiot was that his way of getting paid to fix what he screwed up? I believe so!!!
My computer doesn't work, I've tried to call and can't get anyone, I finally got someone and they told me someone would come out, it's needs put on a pole, it's laying on the ground, someone else called me and tried to sell me a box, I told him no, I'm waiting for someone to come put it on a pole so I have internet, he told me no one was scheduled to come out, then he tells me Goodluck and hung up..nuts! My cell phone doesn't work for wifi calls, or lap top. I need someone to call me, don't email because your internet doesn't work.someone better show up Thursday like they told me, and they have charged my credit card more than the agreed upon amount.
Your commercials are lies. They say no matter where you live you can get high speed internet. Well I have been a customer for years and experience very frequent buffering. I have called and done everything that I have been instructed to do but it hasn't gotten better. For the price I pay every month I should not keep having these problems. I don't think you should advertise that no matter where you live, and then not deliver on your promise should be legal. I have had nothing but trouble from your internet and would really like to see an improvement or stop lying to the public.
Hello so I do not recommend Hugh's net to my worst enemies the only reason I had to use them was because I moved to a new area in a new construction home that did not have internet service there yet because I use AT&T they are the best not retarded Hugh's net I had no choice but to use them if I wanted to keep my job so the whole time I used them no internet was working very very slow couldn't even watch tv other wise I had to pay more money for GB giga bites which was so ridiculous and not to mention this ugly satellite on my roof that looks retarded and to top it off they tell u up to $400 fee to cancel with them if u don't stick with them a year which is ludicrous because I've never in my life had to have a contract with a internet company before it's so stupid and crazy they really want your money that's for sure what a fraud this company is taking money and more money from a single parent don't make much money and you have this company who wants to rip you off it's not right and so i have to pay the $300 to get out and to top it all off I myself a short lady no latter has to get on top of my roof and get there radio equipment down to return to them or they can charge me to pay a technician $100 more yep more to get it for me that is ridiculous who cares if I fall or something bad happens it's just not right I honestly should sue them but unfortunately waisting pretty much all my money on them I can't afford it they suck and will never use or recommend them to no one
We live in the country but there are neighbors so it's not too far out. Anyway we have had hughesnet for ever but it has been getting worse. We don't watch internet movies or show s very often and it's the first of the month and it's acting like it's gone already we pay so much money for crap it's ridiculous
