I ordered a pair of shoes online on 5/13. I added expedited shipping so I would have them on 5/18 at the latest. On 5/16 I received an e mail my order was cancelled due to shoes not being available. I checked their web site and the shoes were available. On 5/17 I called jc penny and asked what happened. After being transferred numerous time I got someone who agreed to send my shoes via overnight air as I need these shoes for a very important affair on Friday 5/19. Today no shoes 5/19. I got an e mail on 5/17 saying my shoes were shipped air express that day. Tonight 5/19 I got an email saying my shoes would arrive Monday 5/22. I again called jc penny. Told them what happened. Asked for supervisor who they wouldn't transfer me to and stayed there was nothing they could do and they wouldn't cancel my order. Told them I was not near a store to return them and I wasn't paying to ship back to them. No compensation and nothing except"I am sorry" what kind of business is this? I am so angry I don't know what to do.

Awful experience with Ship to Store. No one answered the phones at the Farmington, CT store. When I finally picked a department that had nothing to do with my order, I was able to access a manager. She was rude and truly could care less. She made me feel like I was inconveniencing her. This is why I believe JCP can't make a go of it. I will NEVER order from them again. My customer service was awful from the Farmington, CT store, including the manager.

Terrible experience.ordered a shoe April 1.was supposed to arrive April 10th.today is April 20 th. No shoes no money back.Would never do it again .called customer service they told me to talk to the store.went to the store and called them,they told me we can't do anything because ordered isn't delivered so it can't be cancelled.no shoes. No money .will call my credit card to dispute .waste of money and time .

I was in several days ago for a return and the elderly woman ahead of me made a return and purchase something and the
Clerk offered her a coupon off the app on her phone but had the elderly customer enter her social security number on the pad in order to receive the coupon discount. I hope that isn't routine I felt very uncomfortable watching the elderly woman give up her info so easily

I didn't have the time this past Thursday 3/30/23 to make a complaint due to my busy schedule. However, I will like to start off by saying I'm an 40 plus year old African American women. I walked into your establishment on this day around 5:15-5:20pm (straight from work). I had some free time prior to needing to pick up my children. My experience was okay (no staff help ) but I managed to find some things for my 4yr daughter and was amazed by the sale at that time.

After this purchase I went to pick up my children from Daycare my 4yr old daughter and 12yr old son and headed back to the store to do some more shopping (the sale was amazing I did not want to miss out).
However, this time around from the time I walked in and began to shop my kids and I were being followed and watched.

Of course I ignored the uneasy feeling because I know I wasn't doing anything wrong so I carried on. As much as, I wanted to cause a secene I kept my composure not to embarrass my children as they watch mommy yell and carry on.

I was racially profiled during this visit. To be followed around the store with my 4 and 12yr old up until I reached the register is beyond embarrassing despite being uncomfortable my entire visit. What amazing sales you had, but I will not return. The experience was even worse at the register when a manager showed as I handed the guy three twenty dollars bills that was snatched out his hand and marked immediately.

Leaving the cashier beyond confused he said "we check twenties too" as he was shoved out of the way. I wish I would've canceled my purchase right than and there I will not be a return customer at this establishment. I will like this matter to be addressed to your staff. I was humiliated infront of many on line behind me. The manager mic was so loud I can hear the other person on the speaker talking, advising her to check my money. She said I'm here now at the register, doing so.

Today 4/2nd I returned two items under Tran :7498 and will look to bring the rest in days to come. I didn't deserve to be treated like a theft nor a criminal. I hope you all take actions to save other customers to deal with such a poor experience. I looked forward to hearing from someone about my inquiry.

Purchased a wedding ring set in may 2022,I returned set dec2022 for diamond replacement in feb 2023 was offered a buyout sales clerk refused to honor it they sent ring back for repair its been 3 month still no ring or anything

I ordered something and its been like 2 weeks to show up constantly kept saying needs approval on the tracking for usps. Quite ridiculous. Ill keep to ordering kohls instead because clearly jcpenny takes forever . I give them a 0 out of 10

I visited thr store in Stonecrest Mall in Lithonia GA on 1/31/23 at 12:35 pm to make a simple online return. I went to the return area and there was one customer in front of me. I am not sure what kind of transaction he was doing with the Associate but it was extremely lengthy. He was calling out item numbers and the associate was looking them up, giving him the status, telling him how many were available, colors etc. I am assuming he was placing an in store order but it was as if she was his personal catalog assistant and I was not even there. This went on for almost 20 minutes. She never once acknowledged me or said anything. As I patiently waited another customer came up behind me. He was there no more than 5-7 minutes but even he was sighing. Finally after all this time, she said I will be right with you when he is done. At this time the customer in front of me was looking up a number or item or something and while he is doing this she is waiting on him while I am still waiting. She could have taken me at the other register like most normal professional associates would do. She was waiting on him as if no one else was there. Then the most disgusting, disrespectful thing happened. The customer who was behind me who came way after me asked her can you look up an order to see if it is still here. She said yes. She took him to the other open register at the opposite end of the counter looked up his order, confirmed it was still there. The customer had enough decency to see what was happening and he walked away to get back in line. She said so you don't want the order or are you going to come back and he said no I'm just getting back in line. She said oh I will get it for you. So she just took care of him and left me waiting. She checked him out and everything. I was appalled! He knew because he said thank you so much maam. She said nothing!
Then the audacity of her to say I will be with you as soon as he is finished (referencing the first cus still). Then the audacity of her to ask him if it is ok to take me. He said yeah thats what I was saying. What? This is a dick joke. Are you serious? She didn't ask me if she could take the man who was behind me in front of me, nor did she ask the first customer can she take the man in front of him, so what was really happening here? She said maam I can take you here. She then took me like nothing happened. She could have taken me before!! Both registers were open and active yet she made me wait all that time then deliberately with no regard took a man waiting 5-7 minutes in front of me when I was there over 20 minutes waiting as if this was normal. It was utterly disrespectful and rude! I thought there was only 1 register she was able to use but when she checked out the man behind me before me then proceeded to then take me at the same register that displayed intentional, willful disrespect. All this time while you are waiting on this customer while he changes his mind, looks up items like you are a catalog order maid, she could have taken me in between. The same way she took that customer behind me in front of me. JC Penney is a disgrace! I will just pay the $9 return shipping fee next time to avoid this ignorance.

After spending 15 minutes trying to find a fitting room open I selected 4 pairs of Levi advertised to be buy one get one 50% off (basically 25% off). Spent another 10 minutes to find an open register only to be told both pairs had to be the same style to receive discount. As I work in retail, I carefully read every sign in the department BEFORE I made my selections. Nowhere did it say they had to be the same. I came in willing to purchase two pairs at full price, upped to four pairs and left with nothing. I have defended Penney's to all who would listen over the years and now I am done. I will never shop there again.

I a customer who placed an irder with JCpenny.com on Monday Jan 16th to take part of their MLK sale I cannot tell you how dissatisfied I am with JCPenny and JCPENNY.COM. I will not be wasting my time or spending my hard erned money with JCPenny going foward in the future.

The tuxedo jacket that I ordered for an event tonight will not be arriving on time to wear to that event. At time of order I was promised it would arrive by Friday the 19th a day ahead of tge event.

I called JCPenny customer service only to be told they are sorry but sorry does not get me the jacket that was ordered fir a special event.

Online app is horrible, they say you can ship to your store for free, which is what I usually do. Today, that option is gone and I'm charged shipping to my house. I call the customer service number only to talk to someone who knew absolutely less than nothing about the store, it's policies, it's app or website. She didn't help at all and when I asked if there was someone else who could... She said no. So, there's no reason I couldn't get free shipping given on the app or by customer service. Just too bad! This isn't going to go over well. I tried emailing their support email which I had to find by digging around on Google, not posted on their site. You can only call and they know nothing. Ridiculous.

I bought a order from jcpenny last week the sight only allowed 8 items at a time I ordered 8 then had to order 2 more to finish up gifts the order with 8 only caim with 7 was charged for 8 complained customer service they said they would refund me but had to order the other one missing so I did have never been refunded for missing one complained to credit card company there investigating far as iam concerened with globalism American companies don't care for there customers there all in same boat and there customer service is hard to get ahold of and all over seas shopping today is a night mare since all customer service is outsourced I'm praying credit card company can help jcpenny doesn't seem to won't to I will never order online with again with this company if not resolved

ordered a red sweat shirt I was needing ,.I ordered this 12 5 22. Never got it. got an email saying it was delivered to my mail box. It was not. Called twice no help. I did get a order saying to me for. It was a bra not my size and did not order it at all. Called and was told to return, drop off at penny's or disgard. This is not the first time this has happened. I will not order from Pennys again. Done.

I am trying to place orders on line to no avail. Have to call in during daytime business hours because no one answers phone during the holiday, busiest season, at night. Please fix your website. When get to REVIEW ORDER will not allow to go forward to REVIEW ORDER, therefore, I have to call the customer service number which takes much longer with limited help because of short hours of availability. Thanks.

JCPenney online is the worse online shopping experience anyone can have. When you return to store they make you pay for surcharges!!!! Beware you can never cancel your order !!!! So watch what you get your self into.

Reading some of the post on here about JC Pennys I just ordered two pairs of shorts. I need to exchange them the nearest store to me is 1hour away I don't drive much or too far I'm afraid of being in another accident, so I think I will just keep them and never order from JCPenney's again I probably wouldn't get my money back anyhow seeing everyone posts that would make me furious I'll take my loss, on $32 and never order again.

Order required $75 minimum purchase for items to be shipped home. I purchase over $75.
Half the items went to the store who called me to be picked up; then why ask for minimum purchase??
Asked customer service; he said ask the store to ship to you...does not even know they don't do that

I live in Anchorage, Alaska. Have shopped Penneys since 1964 and have NEVER had so many problems ordering. I make out an order and go to check out my cart just be told most of the items will not ship to Alaska. No reason given. What a waste of time. Shopping in store is getting to be a joke....not much to choose from...and lack of customer service, most check out desks are closed and no one to answer a question. Shame that customers try to support a business that really doesn't care. Friends and family all having same issues, Alaska has few local dept. stores and mail order has always been a main stay. Amazon will get more business from us.

Nov 18, 2022, I was at the JCPENNEY in Westfield Mall. At 10:56am the JCPENNEY door was closed but the mall open the sign at the door printed will open @ 11am so many people was waiting a long I am too. At 11:10 no one open the door. One lady inside was shopping she came to the door told me she will go get someone to open the door of course I thanks her. About 10 minutes finally the guy came open the door. He told us someone didn't open this side the door and he was not very nice by the way he came over and opened the door for us. Few people left. Someone was saying no wonder they are going out of business. Will keep it up like today no one will not go to JCPENNEY.

I recently visited your store in Waco TX.i was very disappointed towards the selection in various departments.it seamed to focus on older people style verses newer trend I actually opened a credit account and really couldn't find anything appealing
