Can I return an item after 60 days with a receipt ? I have had Spinal surgery and could not get to a store - there is not a store near me - probably 40 miles - so long travel was not possible. Hope you can help. Please advise.

First AND last time I order or purchase at any time from JCP just because they have no return policy to the handicapped who cannot get to a store. Shame on you JCP!

I am upset with them. They sent me the wrong size bra. It clearly states the size I ordered on the packing slip. The bra I received is clearly marked both on the packaging and the item a different size than I ordered. They charged me shipping to send it, non-refundable. Now they want me to pay another 8$ to return it. It is costing me $17 to correct THEIR mistake. Last time I ever buy anything from Pennys.

Bought a mattress and box spring July 30..paid cash..they put it on their JC penny card and I'm MOT ABLE to get my cash back on the card or cash because I put STOP to order it took to long to RECIEVE..now they say I have WAIT over a month for ME to get CHECK mail????
Then I was told it's state law THEY have DO it this way..when all other workers I talk to OR written policy says...i can walk into STORE and get my money back !...whats really going on???

Ordered online- had it shipped to my house - the order was wrong from JCPenney- took it back to store - JCPenney kept the $10 for shipping even tho it was JCPenney mistake. BUYERS BEWARE!!

Jc penny Lombard york town Sophie's I went their to buy eye shadow, foundation and setting powder so I waited she clearly seen me standing their because she rolled her eyes guess that was my hint so I video recorded her just so I could describe her and I think I will post it on social media as places not to go, guess I will go back to wearing Mac because dealing with people like her is not worth the energy or time!
Went their on 8/4/2022 she had black short hair shoulder length, black with white Polk a dots with red trim on the sleeve! No name tag! If she don't like her job or clearly don't give a crap about customers you should not be working their maybe no cell phone policy when your working! Not going back I will choose somewhere else

Very disappointed in the store at gardendale/fultondale alabama I drive almost an hour and a half to go to this jcpenney because all the ones close to me have closed I love jcpenney however I will not be returning after today I had 2 pair of jeans I bought I tried to exchange them or just get the price I paid for them taken off the purchase I was making today was plainly told no so can you tell me what I am suppose to do with 2 pairs of jeans that do not fit and I cannot get credit for believe me I will not return thank you for your time

I placed an order for 2 pairs of pants and 2 shirts online. Recieved my package which contained 2 shirts 1 pair of pants and a blanket I didn't order. I called customer service and they 3 different ladies all charged me again for the pair of pants to be resent. Then had the nerve to tell me s3nd them the blanket back! So I paid 3 times for pants I never got. Calling bank today to cancel the orders. Also I'm keeping the blanket for your ignorance. F**k jcpenney. Will never shop here again!

Your television ad I'd horrible. Watching it, tells me to not shop there. The dresses shown are awful, the hair style also horrible, did they even brush hair. The lady in the ad turns me off from shipping your store. You wasted money on this ad.

Jcpennys used to be helpful and a respected place to shop. First locked me out if account after one attempt then told me I hadn't ordered anything in last 6 months. Tried to talk with a rep.and it took so long to connect me i.gave up. There isnt any store.close.by my home.anymore would have to drive at least an hour or longer to the nearest.store. absolutely pathetic the way this store is being run.

I have had several issues with making payments online . When I make it the money is there . I made the pop syment over the phone last month because of it . Told the lady I was not gonna try doing it online anymore and she never said they was gonna close my account. Now it's closed they said I have to have to do the whole application thing again . That is not taking very good care of your customer. Someone should be able to reopen my account without me doing the application process again . If I have to reapply I might as well apply at a different place because I don't feel you are taking very good care of the customer. So your customer service is awful

I don't know why you use (Lasership)they have a 1.6 star rating all there reviews are all negative they said our 2 package was delivered but nothing was at our door I called and started a investigation but no response from it I can't believe a company your size is dealing with a shipping company like that sad

3 separate times I have placed an order and waited for it to be shipped to the store. 3 separate times I have waited for 3+ weeks waiting for JCP to let me know my order was in. 3 separate times I had to call customer service to check on my order just to find out that they can't tell me anything and they are canceling my order. Their website is not "real" time and is never current. They show a TON of items for sale but they are always sold out - WHY not update the site to REMOVE the items that are sold out??? My local store is like shopping at the dump, clothes on the floor, racks and racks of 3yrs old items that didn't sell. Displays are not clean and crisp and when shopping on line, my store doesn't carry any of the items for pick-up in store. Why should I shop at JCP when I can get customer service and the items I want from other merchants. I am fed up! No wonder they and in trouble.

RETURNS ???? RETURNS???? well not from what I can find. Brought a pr of shorts ONLINE and have tried to locate a way of returning them, multiple times like 8x, via mail and lo and behold NOTHING!! Lots of words on your policy but nothing that makes returns as easy as purchasing online. That said I guess you have lost another customer, to bad your products are good.

I have shopped JC Penney for a while and every time I go the customer service is always great except today. There were 2 cashier's at the register. Both seemed to be preoccupied entertaining each other with hand sanitizers That's fine I just waited til they were done. I got to my car, looked at my receipt so I could pay my bill when I got home. I was charged for an extra shirt so I went back in so they could take the extra shirt off my bill. They made it seem like it was my fault and they didn't do it. Told me there wasn't anything they could do only until I asked to talk to a manager. Then they changed their tune and credited my card. I've worked customer service for 30 years and I would never treat someone else the way I was treated today. By the way, there was one employee who was in the same area straightening tables and working very hard. Columbia MO JC Penney store. I would always go back to this store because I know there are good employees that don't mistreat their customers. Today just wasn't the day.

My family, friends, or,I will not shop at JC Penneys anymore!! They will not answer the phone when called, you can't find anyone to help you find what you need, and even with a receipt I couldn't return what I had within a week!! Because I couldn't get help I got the wrong type I needed, and didn't get to return it because they don't get to resell it!! This is a terrible store & I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy!!

I purchased 4 items for my son for his Birthday. I live in no-mans-land, so no stores even close. I must shop online. I found some good clearance items, but the time I paid for shipping and handling, I really did not save anything. Now, I have to return all the items, because they are not what the items picture showed. The return fee is $8.00. I will be shopping locally from now on. I live in Michigan and my Son lives in Colorado, so perhaps he could have exchanged them, but he would not do so. My leave with this is: Shop where you can see item in person and always try on at the store!!! OH, lastly I read there is a 15% restocking fee also???? OUTRAGEOUS!!!

I bought a Nike outfit sz 7, I bought it during Christmas. I've been ill and haven't been able to return this item I bought still in pkg, so I'm not sure what to do? I'm not able to walk well, so this amongst other medical issues has me house bound. Please help?

Jc penny is the worst when it comes to customer service, contacted to try to get a ring that I ordered and paid for for my daughter for Christmas and they would not send it. Said they would refund money and then I can reorder at regular price. Had one customer service representative laugh at me and then supervisor hung up on me when I asked why they couldn't just send the ring. Because they want to rip people off that's why. Will NEVER SHOP WITH THEM AGAIN. I HOPE THEY GO COMPLETELY OUT OF BUSINESS!!! WORST CUSTOMER CARE EVER!!!!!

I have $110 JCP Reward Certificates the expired while stores were closed due to COVID avoidance and safety practices. I called 3/28/2022 have them renewed and was told they don't have access to information and cannot reinstate, in fact, no one has access to information for 2019 and 2020. Also, some stores were closing permanently, and I thought that was the case in my area as it was closed for a very long time. Please reconsider, address this matter, I have copies of all certificates and reply to me. Thank you.
