Customer service was wonderful. I explained how half of the screen had stopped working and there were white lines across it. The customer service representative expressed his sympathy and agreed to replace it under the original warranty. He also added free two day shipping, and then explained clearly and simply the process of returning my malfunctioning kindle. This is one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had.

I have found Amazon Kindle Support really great with every issue I have had with my Kindle. My first contact I was having difficulty connecting my BT Internet to my Kindle and after speaking to a nice girl I was transferred to an extremely helpful friendly gentleman how completely guided me through connecting. 7 months later I dropped my Kindle from the kitchen counter. I called CS again distraught asking if they could repair it for me and insisted on sending me a new one free of charge. Incredibly happy customer here who now buys EVERYTHING from Amazon.

Wow!!! I just got off the phone with the kindle help line, and my new kindle is on the way, it should be here tomarrow. My screen went all crazy on me, I thought I would get the run around from the help line but it was the exact oppisent they was polite, helpful and all around great.

I am so grateful for the help of the customer service especially when I don't always understand the various commands on the computer or it become too wordy that I get confused. They have solve every problem I have had, and totally enjoy my Kindle. It helps pass time when I am waiting for my grandchildren. Love the Every Word game it gives me a challenge to keep my brain functioning.

Probably the best customer service I've ever received from any company! It was very easy to find the correct phone number on the website, and in some countries they will even ring you back. I had a broken screen on my Kindle, and they are sending a replacement straight away via priority international courier. The rep was friendly and efficient. I've been kept up-to-date via email with expected delivery times.

I had a problem with my 3g kindle, and called customer service. The attendant was very knowledgable and solved my problem almost immediately. The thing was frozen and there was no power at all. (with a full battery no less) She is going to follow up on this on Wednesday.(3 days away)THANX

Part of my screen went blank for no apparent reason. It was fine when I went to bed last night and messed up when I got up this morning. I went to the website, sent them a request to call me, and got a call within TWO MINUTES. I told her what happened, she informed me immediately that they were sending a new one free of charge. It will arrive Wednesday (today's Monday) with a postage paid box to ship my old one back in. That's great customer service. I'm a loyal Kindle customer forever.
(My Kindle is 15 months old, so technically it was over warranty.)

I've owned a Kindle for three and a half years and use it constantly. I have no complaints, just praise because everything runs smoothly.

I've had my kindle for about a month and have read three books and have another one ready. I'm computer challenged and have had to call for help all but one time. The people who have had to deal with me have been fantastic. They are patient, kind and very helpful. I never hang up until the most recent book is downloaded to my kindle - much to my amazement. Thank you Tiffany, Jim and another person I failed to get the name of. Hopefully the next time I can do it on my own.

Very very impressed with customer service.

* Corner of my screen broke under normal use (inside case inside bag, on lap for brief a car trip)
* Under normal 1 year warranty

Five minute phone call to customer service, and a new Kindle should be here tomorrow. (Next business day! Amazing!)

I have 30 days to send the old one back, and in the meantime have two! Hah! (Well, maybe less than two ... More like 1.75 Kindles)

Very very impressed.

I have had to call Tech Support 3 times now and each time I had less than a 30 sec wait... And I could understand them....!!

My Kindle screen is toast...it fell from about 12 inches while it was inside my purse and inside its case. Nothing looked broken from the outside but it had lines across the screen and wouldn't clear no matter what I did. I was on vacation so I had been "crying" over this to anyone who would listen. I called customer service and within 10 minutes received a confirmation email that I was being mailed via 1 Day Delivery a new Kindle. All I have to do is return the old one. If this all works out as good as it sounds I am over the moon with delight! I miss my Kindle!

LOVE my Kindle, just bought one for my (fellow bibliophile)mom! I actually had some problems crop up with the wireless service around month 7 or so, so I ended up using Amazon "call back" service with excellent results! (Used this several times, they call back immediately)
Amazon ended up replacing my Kindle, sending a replacement THE NEXT DAY!
Nope, so far, no complaints despite initial apprehension and hesitancy to try this new device.

I sent a request for a phone call via e-mail on this site. My issue is a Kindle with a broken screen (my stepfather had sat on his Kindle). I received a call instantly, was on hold for less than a minute, and my issue was resolved and a new Kindle is on the way....due to arrive in two days.

The only thing to note is that I had the extended warranty.....the factory warranty doesn't cover broken screens....

All in all a great experience!

I had a problem with my kindle. I found this site and did what is says, I clicked on the call button and my phone rang seconds later connecting me to customer service. Within 10 minutes I was very happy. They are sending me a new Kindle and it will be here tomorrow plus they emailed me a return shipping label so I don't have to pay. It was an awesome experience overall.
