  • Good day. Here' s a prime example of why K Mart lags behind Wal Mart, Target, and a few other stores.

    I have been buying the following product for some time at my local K Mart here in NYC on 34th St in Manhattan: American Fare Berry Nut Trail Mix. There is a second trail mix made by American Fare that contains M and Ms which I was not looking for. Today when I went to buy the Berry Nut, it was gone from the shelves, but the M&M variety was in stock. There seemed to be no empty slot for the Berry Nut so I asked if it had been discontinued. No one seemed particularly interested in finding out and ultimately no one knew. So I thought I'd purchase it online. I went online only to find that it wasn't listed there either so I called the customer help line to try to find out about it. After waiting an inordinate amount of time I was told that the "product support department" said that I should call the local store to find out and that no one at the number I had called would be able to help me. I found it odd that the "product support department" had no knowledge of what stores or even what region might carry the product. So I had wasted about a half hour talking to someone on the phone who could not help me find a simple answer. Was K Mart still carrying the product in this store or region? I decided to call my local K Mart and see what they said. There was no category for me to ask for so I went to the general operator who very brusquely put me on hold. I waited for 5 minutes and gave up. I am very disappointed in the way I have been dealt with for a simple inquiry and will continue to shop at Wal Mart and Target when I have the opportunity and by pass K Mart.

  • Worst experience ever. Ordered jacket online. All information says to return to store if necessary. Jacket was a joke and not at all like it was described or pictured on website. Store refused to give refund and said it had to be shipped at my expense to get my refund because the jacket actually came from a "vendor" and not a store. There was no information regarding this given to me at time of sale or any other time. In fact, just the opposite, telling me to return to store. They also charged my account 3 times for this so now I have a crap jacket I paid for 3 times and no refund. I'm filing small claims suit in morning. NEVER order from Kmart or Sears ONLINE! I will NEVER do business with either of these stores again. Also, Manager Jason Zeisst was extremely rude and obnoxious.

  • Christmas tree suprise. I purchased one of your fake trees at the beginning of the year. GE #140390287118 K-Mart B19A7 Colorado Spruce. What a joke. I opened the original box today to start a Christmas tradition with my family including my three year old daughter. The box had lovley branches but unfourtanly that was it? There were no lights no stand or even the pole to put the branches on? I have always went with a real tree becuase what you see is what you get no suprises. I tried to Contact GE they said it was K-Mart's issue and when I contacted K-Mart they said contact GE. I see where this is going and understand why there is a common statement " Buyer Beware". Customer service gone a thing of the past I guess. I have 90 employee's and always incourage customer service and that is why my buisness is succesful. I know in the age of giant retail store's I understand customer service is not as important as a small business. ALL I WANTED WAS TO TRADE MY TREE FOR A COMPLETE TREE AS I THOUGHT I HAD PURCHASED.

  • My mother put a NON SEASONAL layaway in at the store in West Lebanon, NH. She drove 45 minutes from our home to make her payments on time. Her pickup date was a week and half before Christmas (She kept EVERY SLIP by the way). She even managed to go down one week early to pick it up, not early enough. She went up to the layaway counter only to be told that her order had been put away.Her $600.00 layaway was MISTAKENLY put away the day before.The clerks were cluelessas to why this was done and were rude. My mother asked to speak to the store manager and they sent out someone who as it turns out was not the store manager. They gave her money back to her; minus the fee for putting back the layaway. They also gave her a half baked "I'm sorry" and sent her on her way. We called the cusomer service number and when my mom said she got her money back the lady on the other end said "what more do you want?" I work in retail and at our store we strive to make our relationships with cusomers better, this is something Kmart employees need to work on because if it wasn't for the cusomers they would be out of a job. So this year other stores will be getting our buisness, we never will set foot in a Kmart OR Sears.

  • I ran into the local kmart in a rush and i was having a bad day!! I was franticly walkin around lookin for a gag gift for a male co worker. An employee named Felisha asked me if she could help me... I informed her what i was lookin for and she led me to the perfect gift. She knew the store well.She was quick and efficent. All the employees were so nice. They made me feel at home . So when i went to check out the young girl at the service desk ( amy) was so sweet. I wish all retail stores had people like this. Good job ladies. The store in general was clean. Keep up the good job K mart in fernandina beach florida.

  • I recently went into the local fernadina beach store and it was a very friendly location. i have shopped at many of kmarts and the employees were so nice. The employees know there store. offered to show me where the items i was looin for were. The store looked like it had just opened. It was clean and well organized. I will be shoppin there more often.

  • i am a frequent kmart shopper at our northside store in pueblo colorado. i have always recieved prompt and courteous service, however, yesterday i went to do some shopping and could not find the item i was looking for. i saw a young man straightening the shelves. the young man was very clean cut and dressed neatly with short brown hair and appeared to be about 19-20 years old. he stopped what he was doing and walked me to the area of my purchase, then stayed to make sure i found what i needed, he then ask if he could help me carry the item to the cashier. i did thank him for his help and learned that his name was scott but got no further info on him. i just want you to know how much i appreciate his help and his willingness to help a customer even though he was busy with his work.

  • I visit my local Kmart at least every other day. Be it for shopping,exchanges, or to use the Western Union service providied, I am compelled to say thank you to Janet Still. She sees me and my kids walk in the door and immediately is there to help. She recognized m loyalty to her store and prioritizies me and I never am left standing there with a question. She has even gone as far as to help attend to my toddler while I fill out forms for Western Union. She definately is an asset and goes above and beyond her job expectations to see that I always return.

  • I commend Mrs. Pearl Hayes for the excellent Customer Service I received while shopping for bras for my Cruise to Europe. The bras that were on sale in my size were not on the floor. Mrs. Haynes stopped what she was doing and went to the stock room and came back with six different bras, all in my size. I only wanted two bras, but bought all six! Mrs. Haynes went the extra mile to make sure that I was satisfied and left with what I came for and more. Hats off to Mrs. Haynes for the excellent Customer Service she provided me.

  • My name is Nicole H. and I would like to share my great experience I had @ the Kmart store #3879 in Braintree MA. I originally went to the store to purchase towels & attempted to use the 30% off coupon. At checkout I was told that I couldn't use the coupon because towels were not part of Home Decor.. This puzzled both my fried & I. Later on that night my friend called back to the store and spoke to a manager & she instructed us to return to the store for an adjustment. Two days later my friend and I went back to the store and a woman by the name of Evelyn #115 told us we were told incorrect information & fixed the problem right away. Evelyn was very helpful, delightful and patient with both my friend & I. She made sure we were satisfied & happy before we left the store.   • I went to 2 best buys stores because my vcr went by by and I have about 70 tapes of my childern and home matters. The clerks at these stores said that there is no more vcrs
    to be had as now its dvds and blue ray and they made no mention of other alternatives.
    I happen to go to your store in Brick N.J and fell upon your associate "Samantha"
    clock NO. 54 Store # 3050. She was told the same as I did with best buys but she have me other advise that lead me to another machine that has a vcr and disc transfer. It worked and I am happy with the unit, so much that I
    order another unit as a back uo for the future.

    The associate was Dale, and I would like to thank him for his help, friendliness that he showed me. What was great that I was unable to carry the item to my car, and Dale didn't have to be asked to do, he just did it.

  • We shopped at KMART Store#3060 in Mantua. Our sales person was Deanne.She provided helpful and courteous service.Deanne assisted us in purchasing our TV, and even stayed with us until we loaded it in our car.

  • A week ago my wife was in store #7486 and needed help locating a specific item that had sone on sale. The store was out of this product that she needed. She talked with an assiciate, ALVARO, who went out of his way to locate this item or to see if it was stocked in the warehouse section. Not finding it, he called a nearby KMArt and was told they had several. He then asked the other store to place these items aside for pick-up on the following day. All went as planned and this young man, Alvaro, should receive Kudo's for going out of his way for us.

  • Store # 3418 My Wife and I went to this store to look at kitchen appliances. We talked to a salesman by the name of Albert Johnson and we must say how patient and knowledgeable He was helping us with our decisions on what we wanted. He did not hurry us or pressure us in any way.With his help we were able to make up our mind and leave the store with a feeling of satisfaction with our purchase of three large appliances for our kitchen.   • just last week i had a situation come up regarding my layaway at kmart on the northside in spokane washington store #4155. I had to endure a very rude associate in that department. I further contacted a store manager by the name of roxie. She resolved the issue very quickly and returned my money to me. She mad a very bad situation a very pleasant one.   • I shop at your Kmart Store #3086. The employees are always very helpful, but there is one person who stands out. Her name is Jila Farotte. She is so very nice and helpful. She seems to make it a point when she see's a customer, to ask them if they need any help. She really seems to know her job very well. It is very important for a business to have a good image in the eyes of the public and Jila projects am excellent image for Kmart. She is really an asset to your company.

  • After shopping at my local Kmart, Store #3785, I was anxious to let you know what a pleasure it was to have Connie (last name unk) take care of my purchases. She was very polite, patient, and took the time to solve a problem that I had with a particular item. I frequently shop at this particular Kmart, and have never had a bad experience with any of the cashiers or managers. They have (all) always been friendly, courteous, and may I add neat and clean.   • When I shopped in our Charles City Kmart, I couldn't find a product I needed. I approached a busy worker who had an entire pallet of merchandise to stock. She never hesitated to drop what she was doing to take me to the product I was seeking. I was very pleased that she was so helpful and that she knew the merchandise so well. I think Judy was more considerate than the girl Angela I think that is her name at the customer service desk My opinion Judy should be there at customer service. I am from Mass and had called to see if the NH store had it and they did this was my first time in the store and if it wasn't for Judy I don't think that I would ever return again since the young lady at the customer service desk was absolutely USELESS!   • I would like to commend Maude Conant #38 at store #4435 for her helpfulness and friendliness. Besides doing her job she helped my husband find me (and me him) when I was waiting for him at the lunch cafe and he wasn't able to see me behind all the signs. She went way out of her way to be of service to us. Also, she introduced us to the rewards program, which we hadn't known about.

    I WOULD LIKE TO COMMEND A SALESPERSON BY THE NAME OF AMANDA. SHE WAS SO VERY HELPFUL WITH GETTING US TO A CASHIER NAMED PATRICK. WE HAD AN ORDER OF ABOUT $500. IT WAS ALL IN CUSHIONS FOR THE SUMMER. WE PUT THEM UP FRONT BY THE SERVICE CENTER, WHICH WE WERE TOLD WAS FINE. WE CONTINUED TO SHOP. WHEN WE WENT BACK TO THE CENTER WE ASKED ABOUT A CREDIT CARD AND THEY WERE VERY EXCITED, BUT THEN WHEN WE DECLINED GETTING IT BECAUSE OF THE LATENESS OF THE TIME FOR A DOCTOR'S APPOINTMENT WE ASKED IF THE ASSOCIATE, NAMED CHERISH,COULD PLEASE CHECK US OUT HERE AS WE HAD 3 CARTS AND IT WOULD BE DIFFICULT TO JUGGLE THE 3 CARTS WITH ONLY TWO PEOPLE. AT THAT POINT CHERISH SAID SHE COULDN'T CHECK US OUT AT THE CENTER. SHE WAS VERY NASTY WHEN SHE SAID IT AND WATCHED US TRY TO PUSH 3 CARTS. AMANDA THEN HELPED US OUT BY ASKING PATRICK TO TAKE US QUICKLY. PLEASE SAY SOMETHING TO AMANDA AS SHE NEEDS TO BE COMMENDED FOR "STEPPING UP". I REALLY FELT LIKE LEAVING THIS ORDER AND NEVER GOING BACK TO KMART. IT WOULD HAVE COST YOUR COMPANY ALMOST $500.   • About a month after christmas, my 6 yr old son's skateboard wheels just broke off. He was so distraught that Santa had brought him a defective toy. I told him that Santa Claus has an agreement with K-Mart to return items there since Santa is off now that xmas is over. A woman name Kim #19 Store #4874, immediately caught on that we were there to exchange a gift from Santa and played along, my son beamed from his new skateboard. He now thinks that K-Mart is Santa's Shop. She was excellent, you don't often find this compassion and friendliness in a Sales Associate. Horray for Kim.

  • Yesterday while in your kearny Kmart store 3499 your front end superviser turned poor service into great service at around 6;45 pm i went over to Olan Mills for a photo appointment, there was no one thier i asked a floor asssocite for help and she stated that it was her dept. so she couldn't help. I then went over to Customer Service where again the associate said there was nothing she can do at that time i asked to speak to a manager ,seeing that I was upset a young lady came over to me and asked if she could help me I asked her if she was a manager and she said that she was the front end superviser and offered me help .i explained to her my problem and she took it upon herself to seek out the Olan Mills associate by going back into the breakroom where she thought that the associate migth be . She did not give up there, she got on the store phone and finally on her cell phone until she got a hold of the associate . Thank you Nancy for your awesome service .

  • A woman who works at your store in Belleville Michigan was very helpful and very pleasant today. She lead me to the ile where my items were and explained throughly, the advantages of haveing a shop your way rewards card. Now-a-days, most seem too busy to help someone, never mind OFFERING help without being asked for assistance. She was a treat to meet and she made my shopping experience a good one.   • Two weeks ago I was shopping at K-mart and bought P.Gamble products and picked up the form for the 10.00 gift card that could be sent to P. Gamble for buying items of a certain amount. When I got home the certificate had been expired two weeks. I then called the store manager and explained my experience. He told me to come in with my receipt and coupon and he would give me a K-mart gift card. At that time I figured he would inform the person in charge of the dept that was displaying the coupons to have them removed from the shelves. But here it is Feb.9th (a month or so after they expired)and they are still displayed on the shelves through out the store. I guess the manager and the person who takes care of that dept. are not doing their job. I did tell the lady named Katherine at store 3695 in Sierra Vista, Az. that they were still on display when she was waiting on me in the Jewelry dept. She was very nice and removed the ones closest to the jewelry dept but there were more throughout the store. She informed me the person who is in charge of that dept was not in on that day. I am sure others are surprised when they send there certificates in to find out they are not honored because of the expiration date.

  • I have always, for many years, received excellent service from Jean at store #7027 in Bozeman, MT. She is one of those rare customer service people who is couteous under any circumstances. I have heard that she may be losing her job in some store personnel layoffs and all I can think is,"you,ve got to be kidding". It is a true indication of the lack of ethical behavior American retailers are sliding toward if you layoff your best employees when unemployment is currently so high, especially if it is to hire someone else at a lower salary. What happened to being rewarded for good job performance? If you can't afford raises you can at least let people keep their jobs. Not only is it ruthless and unethical, it must be illegal. I hope what I heard is an ugly and untrue rumor. I am all for weeding out slackers in the workplace but not the people who are loyally giving you good, hard work.

She has helped me a few times over the years,on 2/06/10 I needed a necklace chain,we found one,decidec to change my watch battery,she tried and tried, my old watch was worn out,needless to say she sold a new watch!   • We went to Kmart on January 29/10 to buy a few items and Cindy greeted us and asked if we needed some help and we told her we were also looking for Dryel (a dry cleaner which can be used in a dryer) which we could not find anywhere and wondered if it was any longer available. She knew what we were talking about and helped us find it. I was so excited as it saves so much money in dry cleaning bills. We will return often to store # 4136 in Albuqueque because Cindy was a wonder help to us.

    I am listing some important reasons as to why I prefer to shop at your K-Mart store #3595.

    The first reason is the outstanding quality of customer service that my family and I continue to receive from one of your employees (Cathleen, employee#17).

    She continues to be quite polite, knowledgeable, and finds solutions for many of my family's needs.

    She makes sure we are satisfied before we leave her department within store #3595,amazing.

    I inform my family & friends to seek her assistance when shopping at the San Mateo store.

    For example, if K-Mart has the item in stock or not, Cathleen follows through finding smart solutions, and wisely suggests alternatives to our satisfaction.

    For this we are quite pleased with her outstanding efforts.

  • Yesterday I purchased a refrigerator through Sears PA agreement. Sears first notice of the refrigerator I could get was wrong. I went back to the store at 67th and Bell in Glendale, AZ and spoke to Michael Deapen. Michael was very accommodating. He walked me through the refrigerator choices (with a computer that took more time to show choices than was necessary, about 30 minutes of our time was spent waiting on your computer to show the different computers). I showed him my old refrigerator booklet and price and we came up with a more equivalent item than was first mentioned. He then called warranty service and after explaining the situation was able to get approval for the refrigerator which was the closest to the one I had to replace.   • Hello, this is for the Scotts Valley store, 9797. A worker their, Lori Clays,this is a lady that has helped me more than once. She is one to be commended for her ability to spot a situation, and calm it down before frustration, and anger developed. Sometimes the adds do not meet the expectation of the customer, which depending on the time of day, or mood, could bring real anxiety, etc. I thank her for that ability to keep the customer happy, and encourage enough where they would want to come back. I normally see her in the Nursery Department. But she has helped me also in the store as she was going on a brake.

Wanted to give a positive review of my last visit to Kmart store #4865, and particularly to Kmart associate Bernice Young. She was particularly helpful. Always enjoy my experiences with Kmart. The Kmart Pharmacy is my primary pharmacy. I know whatever questions I have about my presciptions are explained in a way I can understand them, and the prices are more than reasonable. There are some things I purchase that I can only find at Kmart. Keep up the good work.

  • I called the Kmart in West Lebanon, N.H. on the evening of January 3,2010. I asked to speak to electronics. (I had purchased a VCR-DVD combo upconvert for $159.99 at the Claremont,N.H. store, but a tape would not go in it as the tray was bent up in the middle, so I returned it, the ONLY one they had.) Well, it was 7:00pm on Sunday when I called the West Lebanon,N.H. store,there were storm advisories and the roads were bad.
    The girl I talked to no-name said they had 1 in stock.
    Well I asked her if she could hold it until noon on Monday, and she rudely said "No, I can only hold it until 8:00pm tonight. I said I definitely want it, I can't make it up there that fast to get there before you close. She said "Well, that's the only thing I can do.
    So the next morning I called before the store was open, and I talked to a pleasant man who tried to look in the computer, and it was 8:00am and the lady was in the dept., so he passed me to her. She was so nice, asked if I got the girl's name, I didn't. I told her the whole story, she couldn't believe the girl did that under the circumstances, and apologized for the other girl's rudeness. I would definitely call this lady "Joyce Judd" #7048 a "STAR" employee. She was so nice and I was so upset at the girl that was on, I wish I had her name. I'd tell the manager about her attitude. She was so nasty, I couldn't believe it.She was happy to hold it for me!!

  • I needed a copy of a receipt for a gift I had purchased for my grandchildren who live in Wisconsin. Since my daughter would be returning the product to the Kmart store there I needed to be able to send her a copy of the gift receipt, which I had somehow misplaced. As I reside in New Jersey and had purchased the gift there, I called my local kmart and explained my problem to Catherine Schurdak at store #7197. Not only was she a pleasure to speak with, but she resolved my dilema by having a copy of the receipt ready for me the following day.   • I was in the cookeville store a week ago, the weather was miserable and on leaving, I was having a terrible time dealing with a full buggy, a crying child and found myself being helped out by an employee, kitty, who was out in the rain ,by herself, getting carts- She came over to my car, told me to take care of the kids and proceeded to unload my stuff into the back of van, she then took my cart, stating she was geetting cart anyway ,told me to have a good day and left ,wet and alone to get more carts.WOW!

  • It was two weeks before Christmas and I still needed to purchase 2 bikes. I found just what I was looking for at store #3093 with the help of James. He was extremely helpful. He checked bike prices for me, pointed out clearance bikes and made bike adjustments (like filling flat tires...). Plus, he helped me bring the bikes out to my car.   • I was in store 4939#, and couldn't reach a sale item on the top shelf. A big guy named phil from the bakery department was pulling a cart. He noticed I needed help and approached me to see if he could assist me. He could barely reach it himself. Usally when I need help at Giant Eagle they walk on by.   • At the kmart store #3266 there is a friendly young lady and her name is Clarice Krommes. My child was screaming the whole time in the store but when we went to her line she talked to my child and made him laugh. It was a relief that he stopped screaming. She is good at what she does she should get a raise for being so awesome. So everytime i go to kmart I like to go to her line and no one else. Kmart do not let this one go.   • I was shopping in store#7655 yesterday when I ran into an employee,Debbie. I explained to her I was having trouble with vertigo and needed help. I know she was extremely busy with other duties but she took the time to walk with me and helped me shop for men's t shirts. She didnt rush or hurried me. Debbie even put the merchandise back into its rightful place. She made it alot easier to shop while I was feeling dizzy. Plus we had a great conservation. She needs to be promoted into management.   • This relates to store #7147 in Temple Terrace, Fl. I had not been in that store in several years as it was junky and unorganized. I went in right before Christmas and was very surprised to see so many changes. The store was very clean, organized and you could actually walk in the aisles. I also want to comment on Yolanda Piloto. She helped me find several items I needed, was very personable and professional. She was also very busy at the time because I heard her name being called throughout the store the entire time I was shopping, but when I asked her for help she didn't seem to mind at all. All of your employees should be this nice and professional.

She is a supervisor but is always helping customers and running registar I am impressed with how much she does.   • I was impressed with the service desk employee Talaya Reeves-Harris at Store #3074. While in the Christmas tree section (which was empty at the time), I needed to find out if one of the other stores had what I wanted. I was told to go to the service counter, way up front. Talaya was the busiest person up front and handling that counter alone. She multi-tasked and handled many customers while trying to reach the 104th Street Store on the phone for me. Several times she was put on hold and no one ever came back. She persisted for me and didn't give up while handling all the customers as well. Thank you Talaya.

I was not able to pay the full amount and he told me that I could put it on layaway. I could not believe it so that's what I did. I am disabled and she requested for someone to help me to my car and after a couple of minutes when she found out they were helping others she asked for permission to take me to my car.   • my mom came home today after gassing up at the kmart express store#4961 on huffman mill road,, she was having difficulty getting her gas.. your cashier sharon chicas was more than helpful to my 74 year old mom....she came outside in the cold and helped my mom pump her gas and told my mom to stay in the car so she would be warm, my mom went to give her 5 dollars and sharon would not except it..................she told my mom to have a happy holiday...my mom came home smiling from one ear to another....your cashier made my mothers day kudos... to all of you and enjoy your holiday as well the olsen family

  • Betty Brinkley Kmart#4716 was so helpful when I standing looking around the store. She asked me could she help.I tolded her what I was looking and I said point me in the direction of the hoodie. Betty walked me over to the hoodies,but also helped me find the right one that I was looking for. She was very very helpful and friendly and also nice.Plus the item was up high out of my reach.

  • Andrew #1927 at store #3029 was the biggest help to me. He is an asset to the store and should get a raise solely on his attitude.   • My husband and I were at kmart store #3556 in Elkhart In tonight looking for a wedding band for my husband and Heidi C. #032 waited on us and was very friendly and showed us many rings because of the size it was a little more difficult but we found one and bought it. We can't tell you how nice it was to be waited on by someone that didn't act like it was a chore. She is an asset to your kmart. Thank you

  • I HAD BEEN TO STORE #7035 3 TIMES IN LESS THAN ONE WEEK AND EVERYTIME THEY WERE OUT OF THE PRODUCT I WANTED. I WENT IN ON 12/17/09. NO PRODUCT.   • Lisa at Store#: 3438 was very very helpful. This will be the second year I put a layaway at this store and to my dismay, all or some of my products will not be there. After speaking with Barbara on several occassions, she seem not to remember speaking to me and say she is just calling from a list to remind people to pick-up their layaways and that the other list was in the back of the store that she called from the previous day. Buty I am wrting to let you know that Lisa needs a TREMENDOUS RAISE. Everytime I'm in the store (3 to 4 times a week) she is
    always being paged for assistance. Lisa has excellent customer service and knows what she's doing (very knowledgable). Thank you for placing her at this location, it really need someone in there that knows what their doing.

  • Store # 3785 on Victory Blvd. in the Kiln Creek shopping center is a great store with very nice, polite and helpful emplyees. One employee in particular is Angela Whitehead who took time from her busy duties to assist me in finding a particular toaster oven/rotisserie in which i could not locate. She walked with me to the appliance area and found the last appliance of its sort in the store and with a big smile wished me a wonderful evening. This is truely a store that i will do all my future shopping with!

  • I would like to take the time to recognize exemplary performance,attitude,and friendliness from a particular employee at the Parma Ohio Kmart,#3013. Her employee number is 92,but of far greater importance is her name,Bonnie. In today's busy and impartial world,we all too often reduce people to a mere number,but not Bonnie. She treats each and every customer with individual respect and helpfulness,always having something cheerful to say. If this was how our country's workforce operated,it would not be in the sad state it is in today. Hats off to Bonnie for being the embodiment of a true great American worker!

    I am highly impressed by a young man named Stephen who helped me find a much needed set of small blue bulbs. He was very busy, I caught him in the midst of pushing an inventory cart, yet he stopped what he was doing and kindly walked me to the area I needed. His customer service skills are impecable, I could only wish there were more affable people in the retail business as he is. Kmart should be well pleased to have such a bright and personable young man working for them.

  • KMart #9122 We were searching for a particular type of puzzle for a Nursing Home Resident. I found them on a skid, but couldn't get the price. Asked the nearest employee and she searched on the computer. They had recently received the order and were not listed in inventory at the time, but this nice employee stopped what she was in the middle of and helped us find similar puzzles. It was very busy being so close to Christmas and yet she took a good bit of her time and patience to assist us. We truly appreciated her help and attitude.   • Last Saturday I was looking for a bicycle that appeared in your sale flyer. There was one assembled and I needed one in the box for transporting. Mr. Roberts (Area Manager) Gabby and Timikia (Customer Service) went far beyond the call of duty to handle my request.     She was so helpful for me, she was working in
    the clothing dept.She was running back and forth between the dressing room, clothing dept. and several customers at the same time.
    She didn't give me her name but a 75 yr. old
    friend of mine just happen to be shopping there also and she was smart enough to ask for her name. My friend doesn't do the computer thing so she asked me to contact this site for her...We LOVE our Kmart!!!!

  • while shopping at your store#4162 we had a very pleasant experience with one of your store employees, by the name of Harold Martin. We needed help with a furniture purchase and decided we would probably have to wait for a while for service. Harold was there in a flash got our purchase, took it to the front of the store and loaded it in our car. It was refreshing to have that service especially on a very busy Saturday.   • Tim Biddle Kmart #3645 was an excellent source of information and help in choosing the proper products for my little dog Brownie. She had stopped eating while in the pen with her sisters, I had removed her and tried TLC, but it just wasn't helping. The food and chew bones recommended by Tim did the trick.   • My husband and I were impressed with Randall Werhnyak's professionalism, friendliness, and knowledge at Store #4771 in Butler, PA. We were shopping for multiple toys for a variety of ages, and he knew exactly where each item was located. He really was most helpful and had a wonderful attitude, despite his having been in an minor, but frightening (due to icey roads) accident that morning. Wish we could clone this man for all our shopping experiences!

  • Today I visited store #3532 in west covina and the customer service was excellent! Lidia was very kind and she was calm when it came to a customer that just did not understand that she cannot return products she bought at sears there. While and after dealing with the customer, she kept the line flowing in customer service. i was surprised! she answered phones after such a stressfull situation with that lady and still managed to keep a smile on her face when she got to us. i will definately shop there again!

  • I have been quite a long time customer at the K-mart/3318 store,especially the pharmacy.My name is linda Hall and I am disabled. Pharmasist Mr. John Boyd and tech,Delores D. are exceptional and go above and beyond their duties.They have helped me so much and thats what keeps me coming back. i would not go anywhere else.they have cried with me and laughed with me.   • I had bought an artical at store #9539 and 2 days later when again shopping I saw that the same artical was now on sale. I still had my sales slip in my pocket-book so I took it to the return desk to inquire about a refund on the sale price. The return desk person, Britany (no last name was given to me) was more than happy to refund me the sale price which happened to be a refund of $11.00. I have found that Kmart has always been more than fair and helpfull on any returned items

I cannot say enough about Linda Flores. She is always friendly, helpful, and always cheerful.   • I am a regular KMART shopper,I frenquently shopin store #7629. No matter how busy or slow the store is, I receive great service. I paticularly shop the Jewelry section. Today I bought a birthstone ring and Jennifer McCoy waited on me. She was very busy, but she still took her time and did not make me feel rushed at all. I really appericiate that kind of service. Especially during the Christmas rush. Everyone should hire sales clerks like this.

  • Just want to say the great service and well prepared the rotterdam kmart not only gave for me but everyone in line waiting to pickup layaways. There was a line that was so long that I honestly thought I would be there for a long time and that was not the case.
    I was approached by mr mahoney who took my contract and had my merchandise before I reached the counter. Sara the cashier was also so pleasant that she checked every item to make sure I had everything. This is why I why I am a loyal kmart shopper and wouldnt want it any other way.

  • I'm an employee at KMart. Ive wokred retail for over 18yrs. This past Christmas season was the worst over all due to customers. Everytime something did'nt go as they thought it should first one they blame is the Cashiers and the floor associates. Well shame on you. If your having a bad day don't take it out on us, we aret trying to do our job. We are not your door mat. We are told to leave our attitude at the door then so should you, the customer. I treat you the way you treat me if you don't like then don't do it. Basically you need to get over yourselves.

  • I am an employee at a k mart. If the customers that came in were actually friendly we would trat them better. This is our job and you dont care what we have to go through all you care about is your precious time, and money. We cant help if discounts dont work or computers go down or your stupid tree cant be replaced.
