I pay this company late every month on purpose because there are clearly no humans involved.
On top of that they only use automated systems and their website can't even remember my username, what a fvcking joke.

I went to the Fredericton kiosk the employee serving me was very rude and abrupt. I was very upset. I had my phone ready to the page I needed to ask my question. I asked and he said didn't worry him closed my phone and gave it back. Never asked if I had any other concerns or explained what I needed to know. Normally I have great service from Koodo. I see the sign that says if a customer is rude they won't be served, but what about the employee being rude to me. Makes me wonder if I should have upgraded my phone. My bill was 55.00 upgraded to be $5 more and my bill is $158.00 Never did get to ask him why

Koodo has gone worst and don't care anymore for its customers. They break their own contracts, charge extra as and when required and threaten people that their ass is covered to take care of complaints filled in CCTS as their lawyers already covered everything . I would recommend do not get attracted to these lucrative offers, they offer something and then charge completely differently. Make sure to take this in writing when add one are offered as they change their commitments as convenient to them. I am going to have my review posted on each and every social media platform until government understands consumers problem.

I'm severely irritated that I cannot speak to a person! I have been trying to talk with someone to cancel my deceased husbands account and requested call backs and "virtual assistants". I will NEVER recommend your company EVER due to the lack of customer service and sure as hell, will make sure he will not be paying for his bill from his grave!

I got a bogus long distance charge on my bill. Can't talk to anyone except tech support. They offered $3 for the $6 2bogus charge. There appears to be no-one to call.

VERY FRUSTRATING. Trying to TALK to someone about a charge on my bill and you can't talk to a person. If I wanted to text a computer for 20 minutes and then wait until tomorrow for a "phone appointment" it would be great- NOT.

Cannot talk to a real person. I am a senior and unsure about navigating thru all this. Your customer service is terrible. Was charged a roaming fee on my phone even though I shut my phone off prior to crossing the border into USA. Phone was activated when we returned to Canada. Not impressed.

I drove into the city of downtown Kelowna today for the purpose of purchasing a new cell phone as mine is older and damaged. I have been a Koodo customer of approximately 20 years. I have never had any problem or issue with them and they have provided good customer service to me which is why I have remained loyal for so long. As Orchard Park Mall is the only location nearest to me I drove there today for the purpose of seeing if I could upgrade my phone while remaining on the same phone plan I have had for over 20 years. I approached the desk very happy and excited to have arrived and was very optimistic and looking forward to purchasing a new phone and begin speaking to a young man at the kiosk who I noticed was missing his right hand. I did not know this young man and had never spoken to him before. I proceeded to explain to him that I was a very long time customer and that I was there for the purpose of upgrading my phone. He asked me for a piece of identification and I gave him my driver's license which was the exact same license I have always had my entire life. He then asked me my phone number which I gave him. He brought up my customer profile on his computer showing I was already a paying customer. At some point he told me that he would not be able to offer me service because the last name on my account did not match the name on my driver's license. I told him that was not an issue, that I had simply chosen to use my maiden name, my birth name.
He asked me if I was divorced and I said that was none of his business and i could use my maiden name even if i were married as is my right under Canadian law. I told him that if it was a problem I could drive back home and come back with my birth certificate which also is the exact same last name on my current driver's license. He said no, he couldnt help me. I told him I was more than willing to do whatever he needed me to but nothing I offered was good enough for him. He flat out refused to help me. He told me he would not help me in any way and I asked him what I could do to resolve whatever the problem was. He told me that I had to speak to customer support, to which I said OK! and then he said that I would have to wait until Friday for someone to call me. I explained to him that I drove very far just to come to talk about phone plans...not my account, he said that he could not discuss anything with me about the plans that Koodo offers or the phones. It dawned on me at this point that he was refusing to help me because of discrimination about my married name and/or status. He seemed to take offense to my married status and stated loudly he would not help me and refused to offer any solutions or to even talk to me about the phone plans that koodo offers at that point. There were two other young men standing in the middle of the kiosk listening to this conversation and they both did not turn around or say anything. I was completely embarrassed and frustrated and felt I had exhausted every attempt to try to help whatever the problem was and when I realized that I was being discriminated against purposefully and that I would not be given any service from anyone at this establishment I simply turned and walked away.

I walked directly into Telus about 15 minutes later who had absolutely no problem signing me up for a brand new phone and switching me over to a new service. I gave the same driver's license and information to Telus that I did to Koodo and there were zero issues.
As a result of what happened to me today I will never be a Koodo customer ever again. I have been with them for approximately 20 years.
I tried to contact Koodo to resolve this issue with them directly only I was told a representative would not be calling me back until next week some time. Just as well, since I will never be a customer again.
I'm truly shocked that a woman who chooses to go by her maiden name would be so horribly discriminated against especially by a young man with only one hand, one would think that he understands what it is to be discriminated.

Your online help assistant and services are useless.

I wanted to see what's happening with my account/billing and cannot login. Even when select forgot password/email address nothing works. This scenario makes your online assistant useless as it puts me in a loop to sign in (which I can't do) and resting my email (which I also can't do).

I finally managed to bypass the requirement after saying my account is locked but the earliest scheduled phone call from an rep is 2 days away. Koodo's has horrendous digital support and I will be cancelling my 4 accounts as soon as I find anther carrier.

I have been trying to get a hold of someone for 1 week now. Each time I schedule a call back, they either don't recognize that I press "1" for I'm here, please talk to me, or if they do recognize my "1" the phone rings endlessly with no one picking up. I have videos of the phone ringing for over 7 minutes, 14 minutes, continuously. I NEED TO TALK TO SOMEONE - seriously! Take my money but don't help, what kind of service are you operating.

Just joined Koodo after leaving them now it's a stupid call back crap can't even speak someone if any issues immediately. Scheduled a call back never got one . Will be leaving plus charged me first bill 50 buck hook up fee plus half months bill and full months bill . Koodo is worse then ever.

Garbage customer service! I have been a Koodo customer for 7 years and only recently started experiencing problems. For the past 3 months I have had extra charges appearing on my bill from international calling charges appearing on my daughters bill despite having never made any international calls to now being ripped off after upgrading my phone. When I upgraded I paid off the existing tab and when I received my most recent bill I was still charged a tab on my old phone plus device care for both my new and old phones in addition to $50 for connection fee for upgrading my phone. When I spoke to an agent it took her over half an hour to tell me they would cancel device care but could not reverse the existing charges for device care despite me never having device care on any of my phones. She said the mistake was with the agent at the kiosk at the mall and that they could not reverse the charges for me despite him signing me up for device care for two seperate devices. I even told her I have my paperwork that states nothing about device care whatsoever.

I put my phone on airplane mode while visiting the US from Canada. I listened to my voice messages on my phone and was charged $12.80 plus an additional $10 for Roaming fees since my voicemail is housed on a server in Canada. The chat line was useless as it just sent standard bot messages in response that were irrelevant, then after spending an hour on a call back, the service rep said he could only reduce the amount by $3
. Had to escalate to the manager to have resolved. The crappiest customer service I have ever experience!
