Bought a 2016 Lincoln MKC Black Label in 2018. It was a certified executive driven vehicle. The warranty was up in May. But to my dismay, late this summer I did my overall detailing and found rust bubbling at the base of the rear passenger door at the seam. My wife wanted the vehicle because of the nice interior and I buckled under the pressure and against better judgment at the low Lincoln ratings. I am a recent convert to Ford with a 2016 Mustang, a 2022 ford based RV and had my son buy an Escape. But rust on a 6 year old vehicle in this day and age? I have a 2016 Wrangler that is used primarily during the winter and for off roading and it has less rust. I have had the car serviced at Lincoln since I bought it and they would do nothing ( not the first time they wouldn't go to bat for me with my flaking rims) and so I went straight to Lincoln. I was blown off pretty quickly. As I am the car guru of my friends and acquaintances I will not be recommending nor will I ever buy another Ford product. My wife was interested in the newer Corsair or Nautilus and I the Mustang EV, but looking elsewhere as they do NOT have your back at all.
