I have been taking the LA times most of my life. When I moved to my present location the delivery service has been terrible. I am a disabled vet and cannot get around ery well. The paper was always thrown under one of my vehicles when there is plenty of room in the driveway not to do this. Either I am not getting the paper or someone is stealing it. When I can for another paper, I do not get it. I have asked the paper to be delivered on the porch and this request has been ignored. I read that the LA times is losing subscribers and now I can see why. I think that the delivery person is taking this personally because I complain about not getting the paper and when I do find the paper, it is on the sidewalk in front of the house. I do not know what else to do. Can you help me with this issue? Thank you very much.

I have. called five times to have my paper delivery resumed after a vacation hold. I have a difficult time understanding the customer service person on the phone.
I thought the Times was about communication. The customer service department is failing in that regard.

I tried last week to buy an LA Times newspaper at my local walgreens in canoga park the store number is walgreens 5743, to my surprise your delivery man was picking them on Mondayto be returned to you, I asked to buy a Sunday newspaper to my surprise they said the papers had no coupons in it I was told people were probably stealing them so I looked around did some shopping I was about to leave when I saw you delivery man handing over a few books of coupons to the main cashier Imelda, I was upset but didn't wanted to get her in trouble but I do believe it's unfair she and your delivery are doing this.

Don't bother making a complaint about not getting your paper. They only hire people from the Phillipines who could give a damn!!!
FORGET SUBSCRIBING TO THE L.A. Times!! They don't give a rat's ass about us.

I don't understand why one Sunday I will get my paper and the next Sunday I won't and when I call I get told its because my payment didn't go through when I know it did

9:10 on a Sunday and no paper. No one answers on your customer service and all is does is ring. This is not a one time problem but ongoing. How do these issues get resolved and give us a reason to keep reading your publication?

My Sunday paper has not been delivered as of 8:15 am. In addition to not receiving my paper, I must inform you that your phone is not available which means your "customer service" is an absolute joke!

How do you plan to solve these issues?

Subscriber for 30 years, but no longer. It's the billing. They've surreptitiously changed the billing dates to disguise rate increases and additional charges for "premium" issues I never requested or approved. I spent an hour to explain billing and then with cable-company-grade refusals to cancel service. I requested cancellation more than fifty times in my last phone call before they complied. That's after 20 minutes research into dates and amounts of automatic charges. I'm extremely sorry to lose the LA Times, but enough is enough. I'll get my news elsewhere. It won't take an hour.

I called this morning and was told paper would be here in 45 minutes. Never happened.

We get The Register and L.A. Times every morning by carrier. They left Register but not L.A. Times. Maybe a new carrier. We still want it. Thank You!

Please ask your delivery person to leave papers at the SOUTH gate, not the North gate. I am handicapped and south gate is easier fpr me...Thanks R. E. White

In the past 4 months the paper was not delivered at least 10 times. Lately when it is delivered is usually late. This is an early morning newspaper. Nobody reads the paper at night. Today no delivery again. Is it really that difficult to hire people to deliver the morning paper? I wouldn't think so.

My name is Paul Eggleton and I live at 675 Bennett St, Simi Valley. I switched to Thursday through Sunday delivery some time ago. Several times (at least 6) the paper on Thursday is not delivered. I have only just noticed today's is not there and called and it will now not be delivered until tomorrow. I am getting frustrated with this happening and also believe that whoever delivers it should still attempt to deliver it today - it is only 12.50.

We need for our newspaper to be delivered BEHIND THE FENCE in front of our house. This will assure that others will not know whether we are home or not. We travel between Los Angeles and Sacramento often.

This had been done until the last two Sundays. Without this method of delivery we would probably need to cancel the subscription which is not our preference.

This company is a complete scam - no papers ever delivered, and no refund ever issued. I had to cancel my credit card to get these weasels to stop billing me, then they threatened to ruin my credit. I informed them, in no small way, I would sue them for defamation of character and they tried the old 'you agreed to arbitration' ploy. My attorney says BS, they broke fderal credit laws. DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO THIS NEWSPAPER. LET THEM DIE PEACEFULLY.

Remember, all the customer agents are in the Philippines, so they cannot be understood and they cannot pronounce your name.

I did not get my paper again today, this is the fourth time in the last few months since we have a new delivery person. The last time I called I received the wrong paper. You don't hesitate to take my money, I don't wait continued bad service. And today your automated system isn't working so I can't even get through to request my paper. This needs to improve or I will cancel my subscription. I want a refund for the four missed papers. The phone number on the account is

Very disappointed in the quality of customer service regarding our paper delivery. It is impossible to understand the person at the end of a phone line. Calls both on Sunday and Monday (Feb. 28, 29) promised delivery of our TV Guide (for which we now have to pay extra) and both times it was not delivered. Further follow up did not reassure us that this could happen today.
We request a new delivery person as soon as possible; clearly this one is inadequate for the work required. The previous Sunday we again had to request our paper delivery. It is much later being delivered than previously.

Was connected to operator in Phillipines who I could not understand and resented. Finally just said my name and said I didn't get my paper. I finally thought I heard her say what I thought was my name and part of my address. Told her I couldn't understand her but that it sounded like she had said my name and address, if so did that mean I could get my paper? Heard something like 45 minutes and decided that
was enough. Disappointed in my paper of many years.

We recently moved from 844 Hacienda Dr. to 39301 River Bend. It's only 5 miles distance. We sure hope we have the same delivery person because they were great. There were times when it was raining and really tough outside but our paper was always there. Please thank our wonderful delivery person for us. Should have done this before. Terri Ayres

A sales rep for the LA Times came into my community, which is an all senior no solicting allowed community. I felt presured and was in a hurry therefore I agreed to get the paper started for March 3, 2016 that was agreed 02/02/2016
I called today ( 02/17/16) to cancel and was informed it could take a couple weeks after order was placed to find my order, which by reasonable deduction and simple math its been more than two weeks.
The customer service rep then changed the story explaining I would have to wait until delivery started in order to cancel. Something doesnt ad up, first it has to be a couple of weeks after placing the order then i have to wait until my card is charged and delivery is started to cancel?
Which is it?
Ive already contacted BBB and reported this.

Since 1 February we have had only three deliveries of the Times and 2 substitute deliveries of USA-Today. and only one, a Times, delivery was on time. We understand that the regular deliverer has a health problem, but surely there must be a back-up arrangement to handle what must be a fairly common occurrence We have had multiple phone calls with someone in the Phillipines, who probably has no authority to act. There are a number of people in this area code with similar experiences. If you value your customers please solve this problem soon. Donna Malone-Weals ZIP 93555
